oh no, i'll pray for her shadow. and thanks you two. ugh, it really blows being a gay christian sometimes. like, i know God made me this way for a reason, and it's in His plan, but sometimes i suffer, and that's never fun. 2 Corinthians 12:7-10. You're such a wonderful person Sarah & I think about you a lot. His grace is sufficient, He loves you. Please remember that, always!

Nobody knows for sure. Some of her closer friends on here have asked me if I've heard anything from her since it was posted, because none of them have, even outside the forums. She's suffered from depression for awhile, but it's still a shock. Wolf is definitely not the person to post it as a joke or as a goodbye from the forums.
I adore this thread too. This little community inside the boards is my go-to place now. <3

Hmm. Will continue to pray for her. I hope she's okay.
I love this thread, too. And all of you in it.

@bolderpelt: Will do. That whole subject is a really tough thing to wrestle with. My heart breaks for all of the LGBT+ people who are so abused and mistreated, and it's hard to know how best to lend my support and love in the most biblical and Christ-like way. And my heart really goes out to you and other gay Christians- I can't even imagine how hard it must be to struggle with that. Just remember that you're awesome and that God already has it all worked out. @jester: I'd love it if you wrote an essay on the subject of our views on homosexuality, because it really needs to be clarified. And idk if every nation is supposed to reject Him; I think the Bible just says "the nations" in general, if that. And we know that Israel will accept Him eventually, so it can't be all of them. It could also be argued that America will reject Him, but will then come to its senses and do a 360. I dunno. It's interesting to think about, but America doesn't exactly seem like it's headed for a spiritual revival right now. Saint Ambrosef: Oh man, that's so awful. Many prayers. I hope she's okay.

Yeah. It's a nice thought, though. I'm a pretty big patriot so I'm kind of holding out hope that we'll have a huge revival before or during the end times, but I highly doubt that it'll happen based off the way we're heading currently.

e11e: Hey! *Ravenpaw*: Me too, honestly. Depends on what one means by "Christian", though. A theocracy where everyone's forced to be a Christian is a definite no-no, but it would be great if America was dedicated to upholding Christian principles and serving God.

Splintercat I wouldn't want everyone forced into Christianity, either. Nope! If Christian principles were back in America, then that would be wonderful. And God, too.

religious diversity is good, in my opinion, but america seems to be keen on celebrating lives of sin. it's been that way forever though, and it always will be. it would be good to have more christian values though.

Hello ^^ haven't been here in a while... What are you all talking about currently? Hello! Right now we're mostly discussing America- its role in the end times, its freedom-of-religion principle, and its non-Christian-nation-ness.

Theocracies have never worked out.
You can't actually force anyone to believe, anyway.

Ah, cool C:
I think that freedom of religion is in danger in America- because most people are going about the "freedom of religion" concept the wrong way. People cringe at difference of lifestyle and difference of opinion, and instead of blaming their inability to coexist with difference, they blame difference itself. Instead of finding ways for people to coexist and still have different opinions- they are getting rid of difference of opinion entirely, thinking that that is the only way to have peace. In other words, they think the only way to have freedom of religion is to get rid of religion.
I saw an article the other day with a bunch of paintings of what artist would imagine as "people without once single race", and everyone's a mixed race. It's title was something along the lines of, "This is what America will look like in 1000 years- and it's glorious!" Initially it's a nice thought- until you realize that that entire concept is basically giving up on trying to cope with differences and instead make everyone the same. It's an extremely lazy solution.
But yeah, that's just my stance on freedom of religion and what I think is happening with it in America. People are giving up on trying to coexist while keep their own beliefs, and are instead turning to the nullification of beliefs itself.

I.e., "This is what I think and therefore I'm right!" This attitude exists both in unbelievers and believers - this is why, on the other hand, you have Christians trying and failing to force a secular government to conform to religious teachings. It just doesn't work in a political environment.

Hey guys. I'm asking for prayer right now. Unfortunately, lots of it. I came out as bi to my sister-in-law, whom I trusted, and she told my brother. My brother sent me an email pretty much saying: "I love you, I can't tell you what to do. But how I view you will depend on whether you stop being bi or not." I had to leave my house and retreat to a supportive friend's and then I had a massively scary panic attack today that alerted my family to my anxiety. I really wish this hadn't have happened, but there's nothing I can really do at this point. So please, please pray.

But, knowing that, he ought to know that you cannot "stop being bi."

He still thinks that I can "choose" to either ignore my bi-ness or that by accepting it I'm ignoring Christ.

Hey everyone I hope it's okay to post oops
I came to check out the poll and realized I have no idea how religion is tied in with The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. Would anyone be able to enlighten me?
While on the subject: I was watching The Polar Express like yesterday and I felt like that might have some religious undertones - yknow, lack of belief and then believing. Is that like A Real Thing? or am I being silly
