"If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don't love, I'm nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. If I speak God's Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, "Jump," and it jumps, but I don't love, I'm nothing. If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don't love, I've gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt without love."

Not bad. Waiting for results for my boyfriend's mom. My mom's test results came back great and her kidneys are recovering so that's good. Still trying to decide on whether or not I need to take antidepressants or go for the therapy option. I don't have a lot of money either way. Saw an old friend today. He's gone down a bad path of substance abuse and he had to drop out of school due to depression so it was kind of a blessing we ran into each other. Definitely not chance. I've really missed him a lot.

Glad to hear your mom is doing well! Will still be praying for your boyfriend's mom. Will insurance cover antidepressants? I know a lot dont cover therapy, but possibly medicine? Wow. I hope he's doing okay! Maybe seeing you will help him c:

Thank you I really appreciate your prayers (: I think I could get Prozac for $4 at walmart with a prescription. Just starting on an antidepressant is scary for me

No problem! That's not bad. and yeah medicine is really scary at first. I'd recommend taking less than or half the dose prescribed at first and then work your way up to your full dose

It's terrifying for me. Mental health and prescriptions are a hard thing for me to accept.

It's terrifying for me. Mental health and prescriptions are a hard thing for me to accept. Aye, hang in there. I've been on medication for my mental illnesses for the past three or so years. It's proven to help me a lot. I will keep you in my prayers as you adjust.

It did help? No side affects?? Yep! I was blessed with an amazing psychiatrist who prescribed me the perfect medication for my illnesses and I had no negative side effects, as far as I can remember. Everyone is different, though, and responds differently to medication, so just be sure to keep in touch with your doctor.

Amen~
Anyways. Can someone pray for my family? We uh, just lost our great uncle yesterday. No one knew that he might die, we just knew he wasn't feeling well. I hadn't gone to see him while everyone else did. I feel really bad for my great aunt. They'd been married since she was 16, before world war 2 and he entered the war afterwards. I just loved watching them while growing up wanting something like that. And it's kind of even more heartbreaking to think, because she has Alzheimer's, to think that she might forget all of that one day.. it's just saddening.

Hey what do you guys think of this article? It goes against the conventional interpretation of Daniel 7 and I'm highly skeptical of it, but it's cool to think about. My personal thoughts on it are this: America has the choice to obey God and become the fulfillment of these prophecies, but if we continue down our current path of rejecting God, God's gonna say "Too bad, so sad." Not comparing America to Israel or anything, but it's sort of reminiscent of Israel's rejection of Jesus and Jesus' response to that, as seen in Matthew 23. If they'd accepted Him, He could have become their king right then and fulfilled the "reigning-in-power" Messianic prophecies, but they rejected Him, so He was like "k I won't".

yo can y'all pray for me i've really been in spiritual and emotional turmoil on my views of the lgbt+ community lately. i can feel my soul in pain for them, knowing that they are persecuted by so many and so unjustly, but i know that i can never fully support them, and it hurts. it hurts a lot.

Yeah. I'm thinking of writing a little essay on this. Because I feel like... our views on this issue are so misconstrued. I don't think a few short post accurately represents my thought process. Just know that there's no reason we can't support them (unless support only ever constitutes the fervent rallying for everything they do). If you see anyone, of any orientation, bullied, persecuted, or condemned, stand up for them. Fight against those who truly do hate. Show love in every way you can: Jesus died for them just like everyone else.

Dreamers Delight... I'm so sorry that's happened. My grandmother is in the last stage of her Alzheimer's and honestly, it's the worst disease I can think of. Just horrible. Prayers for strength and comfort. Splintercat, I haven't actually read the article yet, but... isn't it prophesied that every nation will reject Him?

Hey y'all. Sorry to come back with dreadful news, but the forumer phatomwolf/wolfheart posted a suicide note in the WCF Memories board yesterday. Wolf was an old friend of mine, and though we have been distant in the past year, I still miss how close we used to be. Please pray that God has mercy on her soul.
@bolderpelt: I get it, man. Not on the same level as you, but I understand the pain. They're our brothers and sister in Christ, and sinners like us all-- I pity their plight in the world, especially in third world countries where they are actively persecuted.

Oh, no... do you have any idea if she actually went through with it, and if so, if she succeeded in her attempt?
