I say we start it off with everyone waking up. XD
Like, in the meadow.

I'm starting with like everyone. XD

Mason woke up slowly and stared straight up at the sky, surprised to see that for once, it wasn't cloudy in the city of Mors Ubre. He must have fallen asleep outside or... something except that how he remembered it, Mors Ubre didn't have any grass except for the meadows surrounding the city. And why would Mason have fallen asleep out there, where everything was dangerous and there was a huge chance for him dying?

He sat up quickly now, looking around in confusion. This was not Mors Ubre. This was a meadow that he didn't recognized and he was surrounded by people he did recognize -- Drake and Keisha, Zero and Ava, etc. -- and then... there were the many that he didn't recognize.

Mason stood up, still confused, and watched as the others around him started to wake up as well.

Namely Ash, which made Mason smile. The girl sat up abruptly, looking around in just as much confusion as everyone else. Because of sleep, her feathery white wings (she's one hundred percent angel) were folded out behind her. She didn't seem to notice as she also stood up, looking around at the many other sleeping bodies. Ash wondered what was happening and felt panic within her.

Her eyes snapped onto Mason and she glared at him. "What the heck?" She growled. "We were just in the Shadow Realm -- what are we doing here?"

Mason shrugged casually, as if this was no big deal and wasn't at all a bother to him. "Why do you think I know? I was perfectly happy letting you all rot to death there." He smirked at her. "Regardless, I wouldn't have brought myself along. And I don't know who most of these people are."

((I'll probably add more in as we roll along. XD Just these two for now.))

Riley was the first to awake and she was surprised to find her head resting on someone's stomach. She lifted her head and let out a noise of disgust when she saw that Finn's body was underneath her head. At the sound, he lazily opened his eyes.

"Ri? Wha-? Where are we?" he grumbled. Riley shook her head, stunned into silence when she saw how many strangers were around them.

"Are the others here?" Riley asked, feeling better when she spotted her sister and the rest of her siblings awakening in the odd meadow.

A shadow came over her and she frowned before recognizing the slim form as belonging to Lincoln.

"Link?" Finn asked. He stood up first and Riley followed. Link looked 100% awake, a few scowl on his face as he glanced at his older siblings.

"I've already found Nick and Vince and Eli. We weren't sure where you two were," he said.

Meanwhile, Chase was shaking Arlo awake, smiling when he saw his brother open his dark brown eyes. "Dude," Chase said. Arlo stood up, stepping back away when he saw the large group of strangers.

"Carter?" Arlo asked, eyes wide when he saw his buddy approaching him.

Carter didn't even look at Chase as he approached Arlo. The twins towered above him, but he knew he could easily beat either of them in a fight.

"Where do you think we are?" Chase asked.

Carter looked at Arlo, not even glancing at Chase. "Where do you think we are?" he asked.

Arlo shook his head. "Well, it's not the lab and it's not Oasis..."

He paused.

"Maybe it is Oasis!" he said, his eyes lighting up.

Carter shook his head. "Oasis is supposed to be beautiful. I've seen better meadows."

Chase glanced at Arlo. I still think it might be Oasis. We need to find out if these people are... like us.

Arlo gave a very slight nod. I agree. Carter can't know. It won't be good if others find out what we are if they're normal.

Carter looked between them and huffed. "Stop doing that," he said, appearing as if he was poutinf. He crossed his arms across his chest. He didn't like being not included in their silent conversations.

Long story.
Nyx is normal. Kai is normal because his powers were stripped.
Zero and Ava are normal, but uh... hunter-y. XD But still human.
I think the only super special ones are... Drake, Mason, Zeke, Ash, Jace, Zia, and Rose.
And Calen is technically a ghost. XD))

Carter looked over at the others as they appeared to start building an army. Great. All he knew was the twins. They were both decent in a fight and he knew all three of them were pretty powerful. Despite being the smallest, Carter made it clear that he was the leader as he glared at those approaching him.

Chase glanced at Arlo. What do you think? He was glad Carter had his back turned so the other boy couldn't tell that they were communicating. To most, it was invisible. Carter had grown to know them. When their eyes got slightly darker, when their expressions changed ever so slightly, when they looked somewhat distracted. To most, that would mean nothing. Carter knew about the silent conversations happening between the two of them.

Arlo didn't take his eyes off the strangers. Odd. I don't trust them. Neither does Carter. He glanced at Carter. Stay quiet. You'll be the one to get us killed. Let Carter do the talking and I'll jump in if I need to.

Chase actually glanced at Arlo at the comment before looking back to the strangers and continuing his conversation. You and Carter are too aggressive. If there's a chance that this is Oasis, we want them to trust us.

Arlo didn't take his eyes off the strangers. I think- Wait. Something behind the strangers caught his eyes.

Chase followed his brother's gaze and his face lit up at what he saw. "Sam!" he called out loud. Carter raised his head, eyes widening when he saw their friend.

She looked over at the twins and rushed over, standing at Carter's side.

"We thought you were dead!" Chase said. He almost had tears in his eyes at the thought of his friend returning.

She shook her head. "So did I. All I remember was the fire closing in on me. Then I woke up about five minutes away from here." She looked over the trio, her smile fading. "Where are the others?" she asked.

Arlo shook his head. "We lost them a few weeks back. But if you're here..." he could only hope their other friends had found their way here.

Carter turned. "Look, we can catch up later, okay?" he asked.

Then he turned his attention to the strangers as they approached, raising an eyebrow at the question. "I was going to ask you the same thing," he said. Well, he wasn't, but it was better than admitting he didn't know the answer to the question. "But if you did something to us-" he was cut off by Sam as she stepped in front of him.

"Carter, chill," she said, resting an ice cold hand on his arm. He pulled it away. He was fire. He thrived in warmth. He was warm. She was ice. She was cold. She thrived in the cold.

Chase raised an eyebrow and looked at Arlo. As his other half, Sam was the only one that could control Carter. Just like he and Arlo would listen to one another. And Carter. They all listened to Carter. He was scary.

Sam gave the strangers a smile and stuck out her hand towards the guy that seemed to be their leader. "I'm Sam. This is Carter, Arlo, and Chase. We, uh, well, we aren't sure where we are. Maybe we should stick together to look for clues?" she suggested.

"Sam-" Carter began before she cut him off with a look.

Nice to have her back. Chase thought to his brother, fighting a smile. He didn't get along wth Carter like his brother did.

Arlo nodded. It is... I just really hope the others are here too... They had started out with a group of six. Three pairs. They were a trio when they awoke. Carter, Arlo, and Chase were the only ones still there. Sam had returned so they could only hope Maya and Quinn would return too.

Taking a cue from Sam, Chase stepped forward and smiled. "Yeah, uh, we were heading out to meet with some friends and we all woke up here." They had actually been looking for Oasis and had fallen asleep in the woods, but they assumed the others would just guess it was a hotel that they'd fallen asleep in.

When Mason called Carter a midget, he lunged forward. Luckily, Sam grabbed one arm and Arlo grabbed the other, holding their friend back. Even Chase grabbed the back of his shirt, though he wouldn't protest to Carter beating the much bigger dude. Unfortunately Chase didn't think he'd be as easy to beat as the kids they encountered back home.

Sam just raised an eyebrow when Mason looked her up and down. "We don't do stupid nicknames around here, Mason," she said when he offered Death up as a name. She pulled her hand back and looked him up and down the same way he had done to her. That was good. Maya was shy. As the only outgoing girl of the group, she'd dealt with plenty of guys like Mason and was used to getting what she wanted from them. And if it came to that, she'd have no problem using Mason to help their friends out. So she gave him a smile. "Well, it's nice to see that not everyone out here wants to kill each other," she said, turning to Carter with a glare, and then another one to Ava.

Carter laughed when Ava said they'd go in back. No. He didn't trust these people at all. Chase is the only one that might fall for whatever they were trying to put up. Actually, no. Even the one that was a little too trusting would still be smart enough. He found himself reaching for his own knife, shocked to find it gone. Oh well, his weapon of choice were his fists anyway. He rolled his eyes when he saw Sam returning Mason's while checking her out thing. He knew what she was doing, but he didn't appreciate it. She'd get herself in trouble sometime, even though she could kill any man that tried to hurt her. Even this Mason weirdo.

Arlo grinned when Ash spoke. "Well, looks like at least one of you is smart," he said. He snorted at the thought that Mason had actually believed they were idiots. They weren't normal teenagers and they never would be. In fact, Arlo and Chase had never been normal. What they had was natural. They'd been communicating as long as they could remember. The other stuff had shown up within the first few years of their lives. Carter and Sam had been normal at one point until Sam's dad came along and messed them up. Maya and Quinn had also been Dr. Hudson's work.

This is when Chase pushed forward, earning a glare from Carter. "He's right. Look, we don't trust each other. At least, I don't trust you guys and you don't trust me." He trusted Arlo, Sam, and Carter. And Quinn and Maya if they were around. "But we have to put that aside if we wanna figure out where we are and how to get home," he said. He nodded at Ash. "Weapons probably are a bad idea. At least right now. Maybe when we're positive nobody will kill us in our sleep we can have weapons, but right now we don't want to be able to kill each other." Even though Chase was sure they could all kill people. He knew he and Arlo could. He'd seen Sam and Carter do it. And Mason's group didn't look any less intimidating than his own.

He looked towards Carter, the leader. "Now, Carter, if you want to try that again, a little more politely, that would be appreciated."

Carter glared at Chase and then looked at Sam. Even she was a few inches taller than him. "Sam, I swear, I will kill him if I get the chance." Arlo snorted at the threat. When it came to Chase, Carter was all talk.

Sam laughed at the thought. "Come on, Carter. Chill. You know if it wasn't for Chase and I, we would already be dead. I mean, we have a list of enemies five miles long." Including practically everyone in the government and her own father. Yeah, a lot of people wanted them dead. That's why they were searching for Oasis.

She smiled at Mason. At Ash. At Jace. She didn't pay much attention to the others. Just focus on those three. Two that had spoken and one that didn't appear to be very confident. "Look, we got off on the wrong foot and Carter has a bit of a temper, but we can push that all aside." Her eyes floated back to Mason. Partly because he was the leader and partly because she didn't think she could manipulate Ash or Jace in the same way that she could manipulate Mason. If she had been right about her first impression. It was him checking her out that had given her the idea.

Chase nodded. "We're waiting on a couple more friends. They're around here somewhere. Then we can get going and figure out what's going on." Again, he searched the sleeping bodies for the familiar forms of Quinn and Maya, but saw nothing. That didn't mean they weren't around. He hadn't seen Sam at first, and now she was back where she belonged... Keeping Carter from doing anything stupid.

I don't like our odds. Arlo's voice appeared in Chase's head and the younger twin just nodded slightly in response. Carter noticed this time, but kept quiet. He didn't want the others knowing how the twins communicated. That was probably their biggest weapons, though all their powers would be helpful. There was nothing obvious about them.

We'll be fine. Chase assured his brother.

(That's a lot to keep straight XD they're cool though)

Raiden controls storms.
Apollo controls fire.

Brooke controls water.
Levi and Lily don't have powers but they're trained spies.
Jace is a son of Zeus.
Alyssa is a daughter of Hephaestus.
Carter controls fire.
Sam controls water/ice.
The twins have all kinds of mind powers. No mind reading or mind controlling or anything.
Maya is a shapeshifter.
Quinn can heal and become invisible.
I think that's it...)

I'm so happy
I decided to bring Maddie in
And she died when Gray was ten
And he's gonna cry when he gets his baby sister back
I'm just so happy for him)

And Zero is like, typically very unemotional.
But he'll be so happy. <3 ;-; ))
