Chapter 22 was good!
It was cool to see Shadowheart trying to calm Blackflame down, even while still being worried about the mess with Hawk. I'm glad that he got to see his nephew and neice for a little bit.
And that's good about the catmint too. Hopefully no one dies because of sickness and starvation.

Chapters 23 and 24 are great!
Aww how cute! I like seeing Shadowheart interact with his new kin. Plus he worries about them too, as much as Blackflame!
Whew! Good thing Firelight saved him. And aww she got embarrassed.
Neat Shadowheart is going on a journey with his brother. I hope Hawk doesn't ambush them and one of them dies. Hopefully Foxstar can handle the Clan without them for a bit, with so many cats sick and even a few deaths.
Hmm wonder if Silversky can help. Perhaps she can give Shadowheart a message?
I like that you're going this route, with Foxstar expecting kits and will still lead her Clan!

I totally didn't expect the ambush to be there! I thought it was gonna be out in the open. Nice job though!
Aww too bad he didn't kill Cinder. I wonder how that would've played out, probably just added to his grief after a while? Hmm, though perhaps he'll have to face her again, if she comes back with Hawk?
Man!! Poor Shadowheart!! Cats he cares about just keep getting killed left and right, huh? Hmm, wonder how he'll be able to save his new kin? Especially since there are so many sick cats in camp.
Ooh I almost forgot about the other Clans too! Wonder if they will join the fight later on?
Nice, Echostar came instead of Silversky! I liked seeing her.

Oh wow these latest chapters were so intense!
I feel so bad for Minkkit and Daykit, but it's also a relief that they have Shadowheart! And it's nice that he visits them every day.
Aww moments with his dad always get to me.
Woah I like how you put in Shadowheart's questions about his oast more! Especially with all that's going on.
Good to know that Foxstar's kitting went well. I was nervous that she was going to lose a life.
Blackflame and Leopardstrike's vigils were so sad! Though I did like how Shadowheart found comfort curled up with his niece and nephew.

I adored Stonetail meeting his grandkits! Aww he licked them and touched noses with them.
Yes yes yes! The reasoning Shadowheart gives for being his kin's mentor was so great! It makes so much sense, because he'll have the drive to train them super well. For Shadowheart, his nephew and neice mean so much to him and he'll push them to be great warriors.
Oh my gosh ok I just have to say something to you! During the fight between Hawk and Shadowheart? When he went limp under Hawk's paws, anticipating for Hawk to lessen up the pressure? And then you wrote the opposite and have Hawk not fall for it? Just spectacular!! It's kind of a pet peeve I guess in the books, because to me it doesn't feel realistic. Why would a trained battle fighter cat fall for such a move is beyond me.
Your writing is awesome! And it was cool how Shadowheart could feel a connection to Blackstar!
