More seriously, this fic is amazing, and I am so happy and excited to see it continuing. The prologues of the first two all tying together like this is just... I love it. Everything is fitting together so well and I'm on the edge of my seat for the next chapter. I just adore all of your characters, and I'm eager to see what becomes of those two kittypets from the epilogue of Gathering Storm. Wonderful work, I can't wait to see where it goes next.

Ooh, that is a difficult question.

I just love Firelight and Pinefrost to pieces, and I especially love Ivyfrost, Firelight, and Yellowsky's dynamic.  I grew up with as many foster sibs as blood-sibs, and it really makes me happy to see authors playing with and building on that idea.  Kit-fostering happens so much in canon, but rarely are the resulting relationships ever explored.  Hollycloud and Sagepelt are utter sweethearts and honestly #relationshipgoals.  They're so in love and they love their kits to bits and pieces and I just.  It makes my heart swell every time I see her rushing off to check on her family after a battle, regardless of whether or not she got hurt in the fighting.  Oaktuft is amazing too, and I just loved how she and Echostar just flat adopted Shadowheart into the clan when he showed up, just "Yeah this is my kit/grandkit now.  Shut up Frosttail that's totally how it works."  Rainfall is so sweet -- You rarely see toms/male characters that are as chipper and excitable as he is.  I hope he recovers from the battle with Reedclan soon, and that he passes that childlike joy on to his kits.  Stonetail is really interesting too -- I had always kind of viewed him as gruff and standoffish, but we got hints of that squishy center we're seeing now when he pulled Firelight out of the river.  I'm really looking forward to seeing more of him.  Cinder is really captivating too -- I'm excited to see what's going to happen when she finds out about things, and if she joins Leafclan with her brothers or Reedclan with her father.  I kinda hope Lilly stays with Cinder, whichever she chooses.  The sweetheart deserves a better life than the one she has with Hawk.  Though I have to wonder if Leaf is going to stay with her too -- She seems so confident that he won't tell Hawk about her trip to warn Shadowheart; are they an item?  If Cinder joins the Clans, will he follow her or will he see it as another betrayal?  If he does decide to leave Hawk and join a Clan, and if Cinder joins Reedclan, will he go there to be with her, or will he join Leafclan to be with Pinefrost?

And I got waaay off topic and this started getting really long but yeah.  This is really good and I have so many questions about things.  Short answer -- I can't decide.  I love 'em all.
