Hawtalon nodded his head at Maplelight's suggestion, it did make more sense to have more than one patrol out to make sure they covered as much territory as they could. As he turned away to find Ambersplash, he heard Swiftplover call out a greeting. "Morning, Swiftplover" he replied. She hesitated for a few moments and he waited for her to bring up whatever it was the she-cat wanted to ask him. Her question didn't really surprise him, and he would be grateful for the company. "That would be helpful, actually", he meowed. "We should get a couple of other cats to come along as well. I was just about to look for Ambersplash. Are there any other warriors or apprentices who you think should go on patrol with us?"

Swiftplover gave Hawktalon a thankful look before listening to his inquiry. He had a point; another cat or two would be helpful on the patrol in case anything were to go sour. "We could bring Dawnpetal along too, I'm sure she's somewhere around here," she suggested before her eyes lingered around the clearing, searching for the white and ginger she-cat.
Wherever she was, the warrior was hoping she would hear their conversation so she wouldn't have to go off and scour the camp for her denmate. "Have you seen Ambersplash, Hawktalon? I didn't see her after I woke up," the brown feline meowed as she waited for a response. "I suppose calling for the two is our best option. We can't waste any more time by wandering around camp and asking each cat if they've seen Dawnpetal or Ambersplash."
It was clear that Swiftplover was not keen on searching for either warriors as they would get too distracted and possibly waste a lot of needed time. Her olive gaze began to wander yet again while she grew impatient. She wasn't tolerant of tardiness and had very little patience. Who could blame her, though? If this patrol wanted to get a move on, it would have to happen as fast as possible, but her standards were impossible.
She knew that too yet it wouldn't change a thing for the dark brown and white she-cat. Oddly enough, she was okay with that. |

Dawnpetal was behind a tree when she heard her name being called along with Amberspalsh's, she quickly rose to her paws and came out from behind the tree, walking towards the two who were very close. "I think Ambersplash is in the den, I can go get her if you'd like Swiftplover. She smiled at her two fellow warriors, not bothering to deal with swiftplover's impatient attitude that she had over heard. |

Hawktalon hadn't actually seen Ambersplash yet this morning, so he hoped she wasn't too far away or already busy. When Swiftplover began calling for the other she-cats, he understood her impatience to get going, but wondered if perhaps this was the right way to go about things. Luckily Dawnpetal approached them not long after, saying that she had an idea of where Ambersplash might be. "If you could find her quickly, that would be great Dawnpetal" Hawktalon meowed.

Dawnpetal nodded at the tom and headed off towards the warriors den, passing Rainshimmer and Silverfrost. She dipped her head in greeting before entering the warriors den, she looked around the mostly dark den. Once she spotted the cream, ginger and brown she cat, padding over to her, careful to not step on anyone's tail who is still sleeping. She came infront of the she cat's nest and prodded her shoulder with her paw. "Ambersplash wake up." She said softly, trying not to wake the others. |
