Lyle watched Lawrence go with a slight relief in his thoughts. H-Honestly.... I think it's best for everyone to start learning how to be responsible... that's what I taught the girls, to be independent, and to not so heavily relay on one another for anything later in life... On top of that we need an ice breaker and psychology states that the best ice breaker is done through communications.... He glimpsed over at Ro who was hiding behind James. Next he approached Angelique and pet her on the head, "Sweety, thanks for acting out a scenario, much appreciated. With that in mind, keep doing whatever it was you were doing." He bent down to see her eye to eye, "I wasn't actually going to move you." He whispered, "I just wanted to get to know little Lawrence's personality." He explained then turned his attention towards Skylar, "Keep a strong eye out on your sister okay?" He winked positively, before standing upright and backing away.
"Now that all of this is done and done, we can move on.." He positively encouraged.

Harriet stood up and crossed her arms. "Why? I'm not going anywhere." She said firmly. Though she hadn't heard the earlier argument, she had a pretty good idea what was going on. Making a small dismissive motion with her hand, she gave a quick glance around the room. "Although you're welcome to bunk with us. You could have the closet." She gave a tight smile as she tried not to giggle, though also wished that Ro was there to back her up.

Anna emerged from the master bedroom, having finished putting the clothing away in the closet. Spotting Lyle by the twins room, she went up to them, giving the girls a reassuring smile before turning to Lyle. "Everyone settling in okay?" She asked, though could tell by the small gathering and some tense expressions that there had been an argument.

Lyle turned with a slight laugh, "Well there is a slight issue, but it's nothing a little push can't solve." He gazed at Anna, "You see Lawrence and James were helping unload so when they finally found an empty room, it wasn't as big as the twins, or Harriet, and Ro's. So I thought I would force an Ice breaker in them to sorta negotiate, and provide useful hints to give young Lawrence several options he pick from. In this case Skylar's quick thinking informed Lawrence that Ro, and Harriet too have a much spacious room, so Lawrence is heading over there to convince them for a switch." He crossed his arms, "However, at this point the young kiddos might not want to do that..." He tilted his head in concern.

{{ yeah, i'll definitely join, Shining ^^ }}
Angelique grumbled something incoherent at her Father, shrugging off his praise. He always did strange things like this, you would think she'd be used to it by now. She reached up and fixed her hair as he patted it, scowling up at him. But there was a fondness in her eyes for her Father. Yes, she was an angsty teenager. That didn't mean she loved him. Her heart pulled as she opened her mouth to utter an apology, then hesitated. She'll do it later, in private. "You're such an actor." She mumbled at his retreating back, X beginning to remove itself from her neck. There seemed to be no more strangers, and it morphed back into a cat, sitting next to her and cleaning its paws. However, it noticed Anna coming into the room and slid behind Angelique, making itself inconspicuous. Still, she was glad the room was hers and Skylar's. The two of them could get messy and rambunctious at times, and the biggest room would be the most helpful. Plus, the bigger the room the more shadows produced. Angelique half-listened to her Father as he spoke to the new woman in his life, in their life. It bothered her to no end of course. It irked her that this woman and her children were immediately thrusted into theirs.

Anna smiled and glanced down the hall to the younger kids room, nodding in agreement. "Yes, hopefully arranging the rooms in a way that makes all of them happy could help them get to know each other better, and get closer." She agreed, wondering if any of them were mature enough to admit they could handle the smaller room. "It's getting a bit late, too. Do you think we should order a pizza?" She asked, before adding, "Maybe two, or three.".

Lawrence shook his head, shrugging, "Sorry kiddo, we were talking it over with Lyle. Come on, you and Ro don't need all this space and if I'm stuck in that little room with James, he might jsut end up murdering me." He gave her a small smile, rubbing the back of his neck, "And he'll probably make me sleep in the closet in there anyways, so it wouldn't be much of a step up." He tried desperately to hide his impatience under the sweet smile, knowing that getting loud and aggressive wouldn't help the situation at all. If anything, he'd get in trouble for screaming at the little kids. So he smiled and tried to play nice as best he could.

Lyle smiled turning his attention slightly to Angelique, "Maybe I wanted to be an actor back in the day. It didn't ever click, so I became a teacher instead." He lectured lightly. "Now yea go back to whatever else you were doing." A-Also It's not like I can tell everyone that the room wouldn't suit you, mainly because of all the shadows... I'm not happy about that at all...... He thought to himself. He turned his attention to Anna, "W-Why yes of course, I'll order it now." He smiled. His attention now turned down the hall wondering how Lawrence would approach the situation.

Harriet sniffed, looking in the direction of James and Lawrence's current room. "James will be out of the house next year, won't he?" She asked, thinking that James seemed smart enough to go to college. "If you stick us in that room, we'll just grow and get more cramped. Wouldn't it be better for you to but up with it for one year, than make me and Ro put up with it for...three years?" Though Harriet didn't try to be picky, she was very stubborn, and if she did end up losing the room in the end, it wouldn't be without trying.

He frowned, leaning down slightly, "By that arguement, the twins should get the smallest room, because they both will be gone fairly soon too. But no, they get the largest. James and I get the second largest. And you guys get the smallest. And that's final." Standing up tall once more, he pushed his hair back out of his face and looked back towards the door, "Do you really want to me fetch our parents? I'm sure they'd hate to see you being so stubborn when this is the solution that Lyle agreed to."

Harriet put her finger to her chin and thought for a moment. "I'll agree to it if we switch back next year." She said, putting her hands on her hips. "It would be unfair if one person got this room all to themselves, being it's the next largest room after the twins'." She swung her bag over her shoulder while she waited for his response, hoping he would agree, since she hated to start arguments with her new siblings the first time she spoke to them. "Oh, and you still have to tell Ro." She added as she also picked up Ro's bag.

Lawrence thought it over for a moment, then nodded, "Alright, that sounds fair." Besides, she would probably forget by the time James actually moved out, so he'd end up with a room all to himself. And Ro wouldn't be a problem, he wasn't sure she'd even seen the room anyways. He took a step forwards, realizing he should probably help, and extended a hand, "Here, I can take Ro's stuff."
(sorry for short replies, I'm cleaning my place right now)

"A-Anyways Anna, do you have any preferences for pizza?" Lyle raised a curious brow, "Toppings, type of pizza, or where I order it regardless?" He wandered carefully. "If not I'll just search on my phone for the convenient deals." He added.

Skylar wrinkled her nose a bit. Why did she have to be the one to talk to Harriet? But she didn't want to risk losing her room, so she just nodded. "Okay," she agreed, then slipped out of the room, heading out after Lawrence. "Sorry, little sis," she apologized, "but these two--" she gestured to Lawrence and James-- "are whiny little brats, and they're unhappy with room arrangements. You and their sister are the two smallest, so Dad thinks it's best to switch you into a slightly smaller room."
"I'm whiny?" James' lip curled into a cruel smile as he leaned against the doorframe. "You nearly cried in there. It was hilarious. No wonder your dad likes us better, I wouldn't like you much either."
Skylar tensed, her eyes flashing angrily, but she ignored him.

Ro was still clinging to her oldest brother. She eyed them all from behind the protection of her brother, worried that they would start fighting again. "Lawrie, do we have to move? Would that make you happy?" she asked as she watched her other brother gather her things. She wanted everyone to be happy so if moving rooms is what she had to do she would do it.

James glanced down at his little sister, smiling at her. "Yeah, it'd make me happy, Ro," he told her softly, placing a hand on top of her head. "But it's only for a year, you heard Harriet. You can have your room back then, okay?"

Anna shook her head slowly, realizing that in moving they had probably lost proximity to any place she would have ordered from at the old house. "And we might should just stick with plain until we figure out who likes and hates what." She said, smiling as she thought of the children.
Harriet nodded and handed him Ro's bag, smiling at Skylar. "It's okay, Sky. I don't think we need this much room." She started to head out the door, calling back to her new sister as she skipped down the hall. "C'mon, Ro, let's go see our new room!".
Araya left her room, hoping to go unnoticed as she made her way downstairs, only to find almost the whole house clustered right across the hall. "Anything interesting happen...?" She asked Skylar as she approached, peering into the room but seeing nothing out of the ordinary.

Lyle stood against the wall with a very warming relief to see things were pushing along slightly. All the kids were obviously unhappy with all of this, but at the same time he felt that they would transition into it slowly. I'm positive that everything will be alright His attention turned elsewhere wondering about the food now. "R-Right.." he replied to Anna, "Plain simple and drinks it is." He approached his lovely deary Anna, and wrapped her in his arms, then lightly kissed her on the head before releasing her and backing away. "I'll head downstairs and order now!"

Satisfied with just her oldest brother's response she smiled at him and raced after her new sister. "Do you have any fun games?" she asked the other girl. She couldn't wait for her stuffed animals to be unpacked, especially her stuffed bear that she liked to sleep on though he was originally meant to be a pillow based on the design. "Do you wanna see if the others want to play later?"

Skylar turned, blinking down at Araya. "Not really," she told her, smiling. "Just a little misunderstanding is all." She ruffled her sister's hair a bit. "If you want, we can go downstairs and look around a bit?" She added, knowing that Araya probably didn't like how everyone was there at once.

Anna nodded, smiling agsin before turning and heading back to the master bedroom to finish unpacking the few boxes still left in there. She wondered about what else they could do to help the kids get along better. Maybe going on a trip? Playing a teamwork game? Maybe I should just ask them...
Araya nodded quickly and turned toward the stairs, not wanting to get caught in an argument. "Have you seen the yard yet? It's got so many trees, and I think it has to be twice the size of our old yard." She said, though knew she would still miss it.
Harriet though for a moment before looking around at the few boxes in the room. "Well, I don't think any of them are inside yet, but me and my sisters have quite a few board games we like to play." She said happily. "But I think we should still do something with the others, maybe a game that we don't need anything special for, like tag, hide-and-go-seek, or dressup?".

Skylar smiled as she followed her sister. "Yeah, I went out there when I came to look at the house with Dad. I really like it." She glanced over her shoulder to make sure nobody was behind her, then added, "there's a lot of birds out there. They were really excited to see us; they say this house has been empty for years, and we were the first ones to look at it. They're happy to see new faces here."

Araya laughed quietly as she headed downstairs. "Did they also ask us not to clean their nests out of the attic?" She asked seriously, not wanting to make them upset if they had. Though she couldn't speak to them, Araya loved animals, and always tried to tame any she found in the yard.

Skylar looked thoughtful. "Well, they didn't specifically say that, but I'm sure they'd appreciate it if we leave their nests alone. That'd be like someone breaking in to our house and completely destroying it; we wouldn't be very happy if someone did that, would we?"

Ro smiled more at the idea of everyone playing. "I know some good spots for hide and seek so lets get everyone to play. Let's get Mama and your daddy to play too." The auburn haired child was excited and her green eyes held that same spark of glee. She looked around the room and jumped around a bit before looking into the boxes that were there. "I hope everyone will get along, I don't like fighting," Ro told Harriet.

Araya giggled and nodded in agreement. "Better tell Dad that, though. I think he gonna try and fix up this house, though who knows how long that'll take.". Reaching the first floor, she glanced in both directions before turning toward the kitchen. "Have we gone in the basement yet...?" She asked looking over to the door beneath the stairs.
Harriet jumped onto one of the beds and began lightly bouncing, smiling at Ro's suggestion. "Yeah, maybe after dinner!" She said, only just realizing how hungry she was. Jumping back down off the bed, she pulled her box of 'bedroom stuff' over and began rummaging through it for her alarm clock. Finally pulling it out, she ran over to an outlet and plugged it in, then waited for in to turn on and find the time.

Lyle had gone downstairs; reaching the ground floor he took out his phone and walked outside. Once outside he searched for the closest pizza services and ordered. "H-Hi... Yea..." He nodded outside, his eyes glimpsing around with curiosity. "I'd like three boxes-large...yes...plain well... maybe one cheese, one pepperoni and one half.." He added, and nodded as he spoke with the person on the other end. He smiled nodding, despite not physically seeing the person eye to eye. After the order was made and payed for he hung up the phone, then walked over to the porch and sat down, letting out a sigh.

Ro beamed and went to the boxes searching for her toys but couldn't find it. "I have to ask Mama something," she told Harriet as she left the room to go find her mother. She looked into the different rooms on the second floor and found her mother in the master room. "Mama, I can't find my toys. Beary was with them," she told her mother mentioning her favorite stuffed animal. She went over to her mother and hugged her tightly which wasn't unusual considering she was a mama's girl rather than the typical daddy's girl.
