Welcome! This is small group roleplay about a newly blended family, but with a supernatural twist. The children of one family have powers, one who can draw metal to them like a magnet, one who can move darkness and shadows - as well as always having one follow them -, one who can speak to and understand animals, and one who can project illusions that whoever they wish will see. Though they have been strictly warned against it, sometimes they can't help using their powers around the house after their new siblings move in. Lucky, for the time being, their stepsiblings are willing to overlook almost anything to try and be a happy family. How long will it be before they can't ignore it?
Family and roleplay info-
They live in a farm-style house at 412, Buttefly Path in Georgia, with a large deck that wraps around the house. The yard is a good size, with a good sized forest behind them before the next house. The powered kids have moved to the normal kids school district.

Riverfront Meadows: a large park at the edge of town, about a fifteen minute walk from the Richardson's house. It has a bridge going across the small river that cuts through town, along with two sports fields, a forested walking trail, and a shady playground.
Starventures: the town's amusement park.
Central Park Library: a library in the center of town with a small, wooded park out front.

Green Express Cafe: a small cafe on the Main Street of town.
Le Pain Chaud: a small bakery on the Main Street of town.

||A charming gentlemen standing at nearly 5'10,with a slight tan, that is hardly noticeable because of his lighter toned skin. He has wavy brushed back, dirty blonde hair, with slight curls running along his neck. His eyes are similar to one of his daughters; a soft blue color of his iris is mixed in with the golden tint around the pupil. His physical build is less on the muscle, and more on the evasive flexibility. He has great knowledge of gymnastics, yoga and martial arts; which has helped him maintain himself over the years. Thanks to these sports he is able to keep up with his ever-growing family at their own pace. He wears reading glasses from time to time, and because he finds himself reading so often he may forget to remove them by mistake. He's a responsible individual, caring for his wife and kids as a top priority. As a father he can't help but not be on top of the news when it comes to the emotions reflected on his families expressions. He's observation and kind, but willing to raise his finger when someone steps out of line. Lyle's ability is to manipulate the shadows to his own use. Yet this ability comes with a cost because using this ability creates a rather uncomfortable aurora to those close. For this reason he has been conserving this ability since he was young, and pretends that it is none-existent

||Anna has long, wavy, dark brown hair with light brown eyes. She stands at 5'5" and has slightly pale skin. Anna is very caring and understanding towards her kids. She always tries to see their point of view, but is also very protective, and always tries to stop them from fighting and get along, especially with their new stepsiblings.||

||Skylar is a tall and lean girl. She has long, fiery auburn hair and piercing blue-green eyes. Skylar is a bit of a troublemaker, but is generally a very kind, thoughtful girl, and if she makes fun of you it's generally in a lighthearted, friendly way-- she'd never dream of actually being rude. She has the power to communicate with animals.||

|| Angelique stands at a height of 5"6, her features sharp and defined. Her skin tone is a pale porcelain, smooth to the touch. Her eyes are one of the most defining features of her face, the thick lashes that encase them not helping to tone it down at all. The soft blue color of her iris mixed in with the golden tint around the pupil just makes it impossible to not stare. Her hair frames her face in gentle waves, the ebony color cascading down her back similar to a waterfall. When she puts her hair up in a bun or ponytail, the back of her head is shaved in an undercut, a zig-zag pattern clearly shown. A small freckle is seen to the left of her soft pink lips. Her neck is usually adorn with a choker of sorts. Same with her hands, she decorates them with rings of many different design. Her nails are cut into the stiletto shape, meaning that they're pointy, and she paints them black. Her right ear has an industrial piercing, the piercing itself mimicking a safety pin. Her left ear has a tragus, and both ears have four lobe piercings.
She has the ability to manipulate the dark to her will. Sunny days work well for her, seeing as how shadows come under her control as well. A small shadow follows her around, often in the shape of a cat. It doesn't freak out the members of her blood family much, seeing as how they're use to it. However, a stranger may find it off-putting. There are no facial features of the shadow, much to people's disdain. It doesn't always take the form of a cat, it shifts and changes to follow her around school. Angelique's personality is guarded and wary; she socializes when needed to. She's always suspicious of the people around her, especially with the new siblings in her family. Her responses are usually bitter and laced with sarcasm. She's pushed to do things she doesn't like by her sister Skylar, much to her disdain, but she secretly enjoys the attention and care she gives her. Her temper keeps her blood a searing hot temperature as it thrums through her veins. It isn't difficult to get her upset, and she usually has to stalk off and cool herself down, often muttering curses in Russian (she took courses online). Once she warms up to someone, her attitude completely changes to one of a caring nature. She has a childish aura around her when she's comfortable with a group of friends. Angelique hides her soft demeanor with a sarcastic and cold attitude. ||

||James is a fairly tall and handsome boy. He stands at 5'11", and has a skinny build; there isn't very much muscle on him. He has smooth, pale skin, sleek platinum blond hair, and pale gray eyes. While his coloring isn't at all like the rest of his family's, the structure of his bones makes it clear that he's related to them. James is actually pretty rude, and he'll pick on anyone for any reason he could find, unless his mom is around; when he's near her, he immediately acts sweet and kind, which annoys his family to no end. He does, however, have a soft spot for his little sister, who he practically spoils. ||

||Lawrence stands around 5'6" with a lean, gangly build that he has yet to grow into. His sandy brown hair falls down to just above his ears and he's constantly fiddling with a small strand on his forehead causing it to curl. He has light brown eyes and a few small freckles across his nose. Incessantly nosy, he's constantly snooping and eavesdropping on his siblings, particularly his older sister. He can be overly protective and a show-off, often trying to prove he's the man of the household. He generally tries to do the right thing and can be a tattletale.||

||Araya has long, straight blond hair with side bangs that frame her face but don't cover it. Her eyes are bright green and she is a bit tall for her age, standing at 5'5". Araya is usually very thoughtful, and is quite smart when it comes to quick thinking of decision making. She is also quite bold and confident, not being afraid to speak her mind. Though she can come off as mean, she's almost always trying to good. She has the power to create illusions.||

||Harriet has tightly curled blond hair that reaches a bit past her shoulders with dark blue eyes. She stands at 4'9" and has lightly tanned skin. Harriet is very caring and understanding, however she is also quite stubborn. She is a bit childish and can also be very feisty, but is also smart and loves sneaking around. She has the power to draw metal to her like a magnet||

||Ro is a small for her age but full of energy and curiosity. Ro has short auburn hair in a bob style with bangs that reach her eyebrows. Her face is usually brightened by her smile and her vibrant green eyes are always searching for the next curiosity to discover. She has a pale complexion that brings out the green of her eyes and the auburn color of her hair nicely. Ro tends to be childish and clings to others especially the older siblings and her mother. She tends to pout when she doesn’t get her way but as soon as something interesting comes her way she will immediately forget and return to her cheerful self. ||
