(I've gotta go soon, maybe one more post :3)
Once the movers had set up all the living room furniture, Anna immediately got to adding pillows to the couches and small decorative things on the fireplace mantle. She was glad none of the kids had found anything to complain about yet, and wanted to place to feel like a home as quickly as possible.
Araya sat back up, realizing that even upstairs it was too loud for any peace at the moment. Leaving her new room, she headed downstairs and into the kitchen, where she realized with disappointment that there was no food yet. Hoping to find something interesting to take her mind off her hunger, she decided to look around for some of her new siblings.
Harriet gave a small snort when she heard Skylar call her annoying nickname, though was too interested in the stair railing to yell back. Made of wood, the imperfect designs looked like they had actually been carved by hand. Or was it just supposed to look like that? The house wasn't quite that old, and she didn't even know if people ever carved railings. While she sat puzzling this, it almost escaped her mind to talk to her stepsiblings. She had hoped to get to know them a bit before they spend their first night under the same roof, but so far she hadn't had the chance to find any. Shrugging it off, she decided the best thing to do was to stay on the stairs, figuring that eventually one of them must go up or down them.

Sighing at her sister's antics, Angelique slid her bag off and placed it beside her on the ground before sitting next to it. X trotted inside the room, deciding to settle itself close to Angelique. It placed its two front paws on her knee before jumping into her lap. It made a squeak of content, looking up at its favorite human before nuzzling into her side. She absentmindedly ran her hands along its back, enjoying the chill its body gave her. It was helpful in the summer. Running a hand through her hair, she looked up at her sister. "And don't forget where to put the bedside tables, our tv, and my desk too." She added, not desiring to be a part of her sister's plans. It was better to take a step back and allow Skylar to organize the way she wanted to. The other people in this house would have to learn that the hard way.

Unlike his younger brother, James wasn't helping the movers out. Instead, he had taken to exploring the rooms of the new house, starting downstairs. He had not had the chance to see it before, and he was curious about the place in which he would be living. The living and dining rooms were nice, as was the kitchen, though the downstairs bathroom was really quite small. Sniffing with disapproval, he poked his head into the master bedroom-- he found it quite boring, as it was unfurnished-- before heading upstairs. The first bedroom was obviously the biggest, and had James gotten there first he surely would have claimed it, but when he peeked in he saw that the twins hsd beaten him to it. He snorted, then continued on his way. The only bedroom left was really more like an office, as it was much smaller than the others, and James was definitely unhappy with that arrangement as he tossed his suitcase onto the bed, claiming it for himself.

Ro noticed her mother in the living room and ran over to her, clinging to her immediately. "Mama, where do I sleep?" she asked her mother looking up at her with her green eyes. She was curious as usual and wanted to learn where she would stay from now on. She wanted to also meet some of her new siblings to get to know them and was excited to do so as well.

wcrpforums.com/thread/1201/noticesupport.proboards.com/thread/593201/loading-issues?page=1&scrollTo=6776197((All the forums under proboards are having the same issue. )) Lyle wandered down the hallway; approaching the stairs. He was planning on heading upstairs to explore everyones curiosity but at the same time he thought it would be best to just leave room for them to explore without the idea of an adult bickering at them. He shook his head now walking away from the stairs, and walked towards the other rooms downstairs. He hadn't decided where to make his office, let alone which room would provide him the happiness of placing his mega ton salt water aquarium. Just at the thought he straightened up much more and continued down the hall.

"Of course I won't forget those," Skylar sniffed, grinning. "Your desk can go over here, in this other corner, and the TV can go between the two of them, like at the old house. Obviously, the bedside tables will go beside the beds." She looked around thoughtfully. "It might be a bit cramped, but we'll make it work. We've done it before, and our old room was smaller than this one. We can put the dressers inside the closet, if we have to. That way we'll have more room."

(Well at least it's being resolved and not just us c: also I gotta go :/ try not to roleplay too much without me ^^)
Anna looked over when Ro ran up to her, giving her a kiss on the head before addressing her daughter's problem. "Hmm, well, I believe we arranged that you'd share with Harriet...and I think she's already claimed a room. How about we have a look around upstairs and see?" She offered, picking up a few nearby boxes of clothes and turning to the stairs, looking back for Ro.
Araya had made her way into the living room, and now flopped down onto one of the couches. It wasn't her families couch, as they had brought the dining table, but it was comfortable none the less. Closing her eyes ,she tried to imagine what it would be live to live in the house.
Harriet, now quite bored of sitting on the stairs, headed back up them. Poking her head in each room, she stopped when she spotted James in one. She hesitated for a moment, trying to remember his name, before placing who he was. The last time they met he had seemed nice enough, though they hadn't talked, and Harriet had always wished she had a brother, so she immediately took up the opportunity to actually meet him. "Hi!" she said, a bit more enthusiastically than she would have liked and hoping she didn't seem weird.

The smaller boxes unloaded, Lawrence wisely got out of the way before the movers started unloading the larger furniture. He headed inside the house and began to walk upstairs. He poked his head into every bedroom, only to find them all taken and the only available space was in the smallest of the bedrooms, with his brother. He stood in the doorway for a few moments, arms folded, then turned and stomped his way downstairs, "Mooooooommmm!"

"Sounds good to me." She mused, grinning when X gave a sigh of content when she scratched between its ears. She was the only one in her family who had the capability to touch and manipulate shadows to her own will. She had the slight suspicion that Dad had the same ability as her, or something similar to hers, but he never used it. But she could feel it. She felt it all the way from the tips of her toes to the ends of her hair. However, she never brought it up in any conversation they had and it was never discussed. One day, someday, she would. Angelique pulled her bag towards her, rummaging through the contents until she found what she was looking for: her sketchbook. "Want me to draw the layout for us?" She questioned, already getting a mechanical pencil out from the bottom of her bag. She didn't mind helping out Skylar's organization system. It was easier to go with the flow, rather than fight it. And besides, having a clean room wasn't always so bad.

Ro beamed at her mother and nodded. She ran off ahead of Anna and peeked into the rooms for which had what seemed like Harriet's things. She managed to find it and put her bag inside before looking around the second floor. She found the twins arranging their room and stopped right outside of their door. Her smile faltered for a moment as she wondered how to talk to them but it regained its strength as she tilted her head before saying cheerfully, "Hello."

((Mom's gone, but daddy to the rescue? >D ))
Lyle blinked at the sudden outburst. He noticed that Anna was busy, so he thought that this might be a good time to interact or at least provide some use. He took in a deep breath and approached the stairs where an incoming Lawrence was approaching. Just smile, sound positive, and let it all flow ...worst coms to worst he yells at me and tells me to get lost, right? "Hello, there; something the matter?" He asked with curiosity.

He heard the last voice he wanted to hear and groaned, turning towards where Lyle had appeared from. He paused on the second stair from the bottom, keeping a slight height advantage as he glared down at his stepfather, "Yeah, something's the matter! Why do James and I get stuck in the tiny room when the little kids get the bigger room? It's not fair, we take up more space and we're older!" He folded his arms, jaw setting in determination, "We should have gotten the biggest room, instead of the twins. At least we helped with stuff instead of running to stake a claim like a pair of territorial cats."

Lyle nodded as he listened, now this was a concerning turn of events. "Alright.." He smiled at the thought, "Let's go talk to those twins, get a reasonable argument, then situate everything." He encouraged with a light tone. He knew this wouldn't be a good idea of Lawrence and James to be in a smaller room, they needed their space, but at the same time he knew the younger kids might poute and put on their adorable faces. He shook his head slightly, he was going to get this situated against the odds. "Alright lead the way, and we'll deduct this together."

He couldn't deny a little disappointment in how calm and reasonable Lyle was being. Lawrence had been hoping for an argument, but he wasn't going to ignore a chance to get what he wanted. Turning, he led the way back up the stairs and into the doorway of the room he was supposed to be sharing with James. He gestured to the room emphatically, trying to showcase his point of the room's unfortunate size before heading back down the hall to the twins' room. He gave Lyle a stern look. He was ready to chew this guy out to Mom for making the wrong decision, all he needed was the slightest opportunity.

{{ poor twins ;; }}
Angelique's head snapped up at the sound of a higher, much younger voice in the doorway. X froze in her lap while she muttered some curses in Russian. In a blink of an eye, X crawled up her neck and morphed itself into a black stripe around her neck, looking like a choker. Hopefully, the younger child wouldn't have noticed what just happened. Dad had warned her not to showcase her abilities in front of the other family, giving her a stern look. Angelique was the cynical child and she found amusement out of terrifying the others. "Hello." she responded, trying to keep her voice light. "I'm Angelique, and you are?" She was trying hard to be polite, but it wasn't working out too well. She could feel impatience swelling inside her, and the poor girl only said one word.

Lyle followed behind Lawrence. He couldn't help but smile behind the boys back, mainly because it appeared like they were getting together. Perhaps, or this kid was thinking of a million ways to chop him in half. Yea... probably, but he shook his head at the thought. He stopped outside what was to be the boys room, then glimpsed inside, "Oh....no... this can't work for you guys." He stated outloud at the thought. He considered the girls, despite it being small, it was still big enough for the twins. It even had a window sill, so Angelique might enjoy sitting there during the full moon or something. He now followed the boy towards the twin's claimed castle. He saw Ro standing by the door then realized that his daughter on the other end was trying her hardest to put on her happy mask. A-At least she's trying... He approached and smiled, "Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a good time. Yet Ro, I sorta need to talk to Angel here." He referred to Angelique, "It's a matter that needs to be addressed at this instance." He emphasized the importance.

Ro didn't notice anything since she was looking around the room. Her green eyes fixated on the raven haired twin and she looked at her with curiosity. "I'm Ro," she said cheerfully. She blinked for a moment and asked, "Can I come in?" She wasn't the type to burst into a room she knew she shouldn't despite the curiosity that tugged at her constantly. Though it was obvious she wanted to walk into the room based on how she fidgeted on her feet and how her hands rubbed the hem of her green shirt. When a voice came up behind her she looked up at her new father and tilted her head. "What do you need to talk to her about?" she asked finally giving in to curiosity.

Angelique's attention was immediately focused on her father, a small smile beginning to make its way on her face. However, it immediately turned into a scowl when she noticed Lawrence beside him. Another one? She internally groaned, biting back the noise of frustration that threatened to make its way past her throat. X must have sensed her discontent, opening all 532 of its eyes all at once. It was probably weird, her choker having eyes in one second, then reverting to normal the next. She opened her mouth to speak, only realizing Ro in front of her. She couldn't ignore the poor girl, no matter how much she wanted to snap at everyone to leave. But Dad told her to be nice and he was standing right in the doorway. Holding back a sigh, she nodded at Ro and gestured for the young girl to enter the room. Glancing back her her Father with a brow raised. The nickname he had for her, "Angel", was something he found amusing, seeing as how Angelique was far from the perfect Angel. She despised the nickname with a burning passion, but he never let it go. "What's the problem, Dad?" Angelique questioned, her eyes focused on the boy beside him before glancing up at her Father

Lyle took notice of her choker, this drew quite a bit of concern on his end. He wanted to lecture that choker so badly, but he pushed that thought aside. "Hey girly, we have an issue addressing rooms." He began knowing that Lawrence was upset, and Ro was curious. "So Lawrence and his brother were unpacking everything while everyone else sorta picked out their rooms. The issue is that the room that's empty is slightly smaller then this one." He explained, "I don't think that is a fair call on anyone's book." He explained, "Also the other room is still big, it's just the boys would benefit more here." He explained, "Lastly the other room has a large window sill big enough to sit in." His last statement held an encouraging tone. He was ready to demand the room should she argue back.

Ro walked over to Angelique and climbed onto her lap without asking. She liked sitting on people's laps because she was just the right size for it. There was curiosity in her eyes as she looked at her older brother as he stood near their new dad. She played with the little strings on the bottom of her beige bermuda shorts as she listened. In her head, the Cookie Cat theme song from Steven Universe was stuck in her head and she wondered if she would get to watch an episode later since it was her favorite cartoon.

This.. This was something she did not expect. Her Father was actually siding with the other children? Against his own children, kids who he had blood relations to? She looked down uncomfortably when Ro settled herself in Angelique's lap. That was not expected as well. She didn't do well with kids, so she just pretended that the girl on her lap was X. Patting the girl's head awkwardly, she looked back up at her father, struggling to contain the rage that was beginning to bubble inside her. "We chose this room first, отец." She spoke, her words deadly and poised. Yes, she respected her Father. But not being chosen over someone else's kid.. Well, that didn't settle too well with her. As she spoke, a small hissing noise was heard below her voice. Whomever was disturbing Angelique, was disturbing X. "Okay, sure, they brought up some stuff. Good for them. Maybe they should take your room, Dad. Or maybe the living room and the kitchen? Y'know, since they brought in so much. Or better yet, let them take the whole bloody house so we can move back to our real home." Maybe Angelique was upset about moving, about having to settle into a different environment with strangers who she had no desire to communicate with. And maybe she was taking it out on her Father. But her and Skylar were the oldest children in the house, they should have the right to live in the largest bedroom. If, somehow, the twins had to move to the other room, Angelique would be livid and make the boy's lives miserable. They won't be getting much sleep she thought to herself, deeply wounded by her Father's choice.

Lawrence scowled at Angelique from behind Lyle, watching as his little sister, who apparently knew no better, casually strolled over as if it were the most natural thing in the world and plopped herself in Angelique's lap. Where was this child's stranger danger? As the twins began to get snappy, he took a step forwards into Lyle's line of sight, dropping his scowl in favor of a calm, relaxed smile, "Let's not get all defensive here. I was just thinking that perhaps there's a better way to organize room arrangements that isn't based on something so arbitrary as age and is far more fair to everyone involved."

Lyle couldn't help but sigh as he crossed his arms and stood upright. His expression grew upset, as he felt a tang of pain just hearing his daughter's words. "sweety seriously, quit being egotistic....." He stated calmly, "I know you are stressed, and still sorta out of it but be reasonable for once." He added. "James is older, and he needs his space to study; like seriously that boy is going to need as much room to freak out about everything. Lawrence on the other hand needs the extra space that James may or may not give him to sit in that corner and watch his brother panic about finals, girls, dates and whatever pops into his mind." He waved an aggressive finger, "Also the reality is that the guys are out numbered around here- the least they can have is a room to hide in when all of you have girls night outs. This would be the ideal trade-off for more then reason. One they helped unload, two they are out-numbered, three, James is the oldest, and lastly this room seriously wont suit you..." His last comment was meant to be a thought bubble, but he said it anyways.
Lyle blinked turning his attention towards Lawrence, he wanted to sorta scowl at the boy too, this was HIS idea, and he was unhappy at first. Kid... make up your mind....

Ro blinked at the situation and decided it would be safer for her to remove herself from the lap of the girl who looked like she as claws for nails. The small child exited the room and smiled at her older brother before hiding behind him so that she could still listen. She wanted to know the outcome considering she might become involved as well. Also she wanted to see if Lawrence would play with her since Mama was busy and she wasn't sure of her new father yet. Maybe she would help with whatever was left to be done. What did the new siblings have? Did they have any fun toys and games? Maybe they had cartoons. The idea excited her and she giggled softly to herself as she stood behind her brother.

Skylar had never looked at her father with such a furious expression in her life. ''How is that fair?'' She demanded angrily. ''We got here first! This is our room!'' Desperation rose up inside of her. ''I've already planned it all out and everything, I know exactly where everything is going to go! And that room is way too small for all of our stuff to fit in it anyway, we have more furniture than anyone, there's no way I can fit two desks into that little space!''
James appeared in the doorway behind his little brother, leaning against the doorframe and smirking at the twins. ''Well, if your stuff won't fit in there, I suppose you'll have to get rid of it, won't you? It's not difficult to figure out. Or are you just that dim?''
Skylar tensed, fixing him with a nasty glare. ''At least I don't go running to my mommy in tears every few seconds,'' she snarled.
