LeafClan ~ Washed away

(hello I'm back!)
Mosspaw slowed down the rhythm of his vigorous licking, feeling himself tire. At least the kits were going to be okay. Or- he noticed Minnowsplash, still desperately licking Thornkit.
Thornkit! Mosspaw gave Stormkit a last look- Thornkit needed their attention now.
He kept giving the little kit licks, pressing down a bit hard to hopefully pump some air into the unmoving body.
"I don't have much training yet... there's still lots of stuff I don't know..." He looked up at the queen, his eyes full of fear. What if Thornkit died?

(Thornkit's going to die, right? You crossed him out in the allegiances)

Stormkit protested as his mother, and her warmth, went away. He tried to get up but his legs were to weak to support, instead he flopped over. He meowed for his mothers protection for the cold, his fur still not entirely dry.

stormkit stopped crying and quickly fell asleep in his mother's warmth. he didn't notice that his littermate, thornkit lay still and cold a mouse lenth away. 

The queen didn't respond to either of the cats. Luckily, her son seemed to calm down and sleep. She would tell him later. Now, she wanted to mourn.
"What now?" She asked the apprentice after a couple minutes had passed. As much as she would like to sit and properly mourn Thornkit, she also knew her other kits might be out there and Stormkit needed a mother and a den.
