One moment of silence, and then she attacked. Arachnae pushed herself forward, closing the distance between the two fast. She slashed as soon as she was close enough, attacking with her blade quickly before leaping away again. In a battle of strength, she knew that she couldn't win, so she focused on speed and agility instead. Attack and pull back, keeping distance if her opponent didn't have a gun. She kept her webbing prepared, along with if she needed to allow her spider eyes to open for better reactions. She would have to be wary, it was easier to underestimate someone than overestimate them.

Arachnae moved to dodge the attack, but became distracted. Something else was there, and when her eyes flicked over to see what, she missed her chance to get away. She let out a hiss of pain as the blade sliced into her arm, stumbling away to avoid the blade getting hooked onto one of her thin metal plating. Regaining her footing, she stayed out of arms reach, eyes flicking between the man she was facing and the mist in the corner. Did this come from him? She hoped not, opponents with powers made her job much harder. Granted, she had powers herself, if her mutation could even be called that. She shifted over, trying to put herself between her opponent and the door to the next room. She may have to escape, she wasn't about to risk her life fighting another freak.

Arachnae didn't speak at first. Shifting her grip on the blade, she pressed her free hand on her wound, checking the scratch. She seemed a little annoyed over the fact he was starting a conversation. She was hesitant to reply, but saw no harm in it. "Your presence here can ruin my mission," She replied, her mask slightly muffling her voice. "Nothing is to be stolen only destroyed, and if you're not a hero trying to stop me, then you're here for something else, more than likely money." She watched him closely. "So while it may not have been your intention, you're bothering me."

"Or," Arachnae replied. "You could leave now and neither of us will have any more problems." She used her free hand to stick her webs to her cut to stop the bleeding. The last thing she needed was for her blood to get on something to tell that she was there. Her identity was probably already in the system from before she was a hired hand, and she didn't want to give a name to Arachnae. Especially since it would put her loved ones in danger. Once satisfied, she turned her full attention back to the man.

So sorry for not being here!))
"Or," Arachnae countered. "I can trigger an alarm, complete my job, and escape. Based on the hero and police reaction time, I doubt you would have enough time to take what you want without getting noticed. You would either leave with nothing, or risk being exposed to the heroes." She moved back, until she was in the doorway to the next room, ready to move in case he decided to try something else.

Arachnae moved slightly backward, putting the doorway between her and the man. As she did, she reached out towards him, changing the angel of her arm and firing a web at his feet quickly, before pushing herself up and jumping up so her hands hit the top of the doorway. Sticking to it, she swung herself up onto the wall and crawled up the ceiling to avoid the man.

Arachnae kept silent, making her way across the ceiling of the next room. She didn't like sharing, in her opinion, others should leave her alone to do her job. She didn't like how pushy this guy was, in fact, she didn't even know why he was still there. It was a small shop after all, not much money or valuable items, and with her working she was probably causing him more trouble than the place was worth. She refused to give up too, call it childish, but she didn't like losing. She would rather force herself to go faster than deal with someone else in her vicinity.

To move to the next room, Arachnae was forced to move down from her safe spot on the ceiling. Climbing down, she climbed to the door, opening it and slipping into the next room, closing the door behind her. Scanning the room, she looked for something to use, hoping to find a place to hide or alert the authorities, as much as she didn't want to. She couldn't use the ceiling again, he already knew that move. She needed something else. Pulling out her blade again, she instead waited for him to possibly come through the door, in which she would attack him immediately. Maybe by attacking, she can destroy enough items and make enough noise that someone outside could make the call, allowing her to get her job done and escape with the authorities arriving at the scene.
