Sure- that would be the way to go, but do you think, since by the time that happens Nettle would be leader, that nettle would force his mate to do something like that?
Maybe he'd end up have a vote in the clan- after announcing that the kits are his and lavenders
side note: I'm thinking since Lavender cant give them milk, since most medicine cats take an herb that stops their milk flow, that they give the kits to Bellfeather, Lavenderpetal's sister, and they figure it out with Bellfeather and Beecloud(since theyre mates) that maybe they decide to tell the clan that Nettlestep just wanted kits at first, and then everycat maybe feels like Bell is "cheating" on Bee, so Nettle and Lavender have no other choice than to tell the clan the kits are theres, which could lead to the voting on what should happen to Lavender

but question is- what kind of curse? Curse of no nine lives curse of StarClan rejecting his leadership curse of gaining his lives but always dying extremely painful deaths a shortened nine lives not given all nine live a tumultuous leadership |

Meanwhile, the white warrior was paying more attention to how things looked, keeping a meticulous blue eye out for specific landmarks. He led Doveheart over a fallen tree, covered with a thick pelt of vivid green moss, somehow immune to the crunchy layer the frost had given their home. Then he wound his way around several large, round boulders, their surfaces glittering in the morning light. Iceclaw gave the impression of following an invisible path through their territory.
At long last, the pair stood at the edge of a small field, the long grass stiff with ice crystals, almost giving the impression of sentries watching over the area. A shallow pond lay towards the furthest end, surrounded by drooping cattails and reflecting the early morning sky.
Immediately, the snowy tom hunkered down into a crouch, his nose to the air as he made an attempt to figure out what was in their immediate area.

(I can only think of curses dealing with some sort of misfortune? Or maybe the number of his lives are reduced? Ooo what if they say that since he decided to have kits with his medicine cat, those loves go to the kits and not him? They could argue that the lives will hopefully guide the kits to better choices than their parents) That's really neat like imagine these non leader cats with extra lives and how the clan would see that |

that, or he is given five lives- and with each life taken from him, it could be an extremely painful death, and unlike most leaders, most of his wounds do not heal, the only one that does heal is the wound that killed him??

The tortoiseshell apprentice had been sleeping rather soundly, curled up in a tiny ball with her tail over her nose. However, she was quickly jarred from her dreams by her mentor. In fact, she was very woken up by the flame-point warrior, and jumped as she snapped into the waking world, tumbling out of her nest with a small squeal of surprise.
However, she recovered quickly enough from her fall, rolling over swiftly onto her paws and turning her bright (if still sleepy) eyes towards her mentor.
"Alright, Sunfeather!" It was all eagerness and respect from the dappled she-cat, and after a few swift licks to her ruffled pelt, she bounced out of the den. "What're we doing for training today?"

[Predicting now, for my characters: Thistleshine is going to be against Nettle x Lavender, and possibly one of the cats who want to threaten him. Iceclaw is also going to be against, but not willing to hurt them. Bellfeather is morally against, but isn't in on the plot to hurt them, and still tries to emotionally support Lavender, although she's very salty about the lies. I'm not sure about Chamomile and Willow, yet. Briar is 500% against it, but she's an old woman who is just openly salty instead of actively trying to throw them out of power.] |

Fennel is a sweetheart, so she’s gonna be on NettlexLavender’s side, but not wanting to be against any cat.

Amaryllispaw - stuck in the middle, because Beecloud is her mentor and lavender is her older sister
