Overall || Sam is a sweet and very down-to-earth guy who just wants to see people happy in life. He is one of those guys you'd find tutoring younger students rather than playing football with his friends. He has a killer smile and an amazing heart to go along with it. He is firm in his "do unto others as you'd want done to you" beliefs. He is a very friendly guy and laid back to the point he laughs off insults, if any were to be thrown his way. He is too nice of a guy to have enemies. There may never be a time that you can't find him smiling. He is respectful and cares about his grades. He enjoys laughing and poking fun at himself to make others laugh and feel good. He is bubbly and sarcastic. He has witty comebacks and is on many of the sports teams at the school. He wrestles and is on the weight-lifting team. It is amazing the time this young man has to be a part of so many organizations within the school. Not only is he a member of two sports teams, he is a part of the Young Scientists Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Young Musicians Group where he plays guitar, the president of Leadership Around Campus and Vice President of the Debate Team. Basically, this young man is a humanitarian and plans to go to college down the road and become a CEO of a non for profit to help low income families and other members of the community. He would also like to help under privilege children and youth in the foster care system. Sam believes that when he was a little boy, he remembers seeing another kid at school bully another. Sam says he stood up for the victim and received a punch in the face. From then on, he did his best to make friends with everyone, including the bully. His mother always told him to look for the good in people. He is allergic to strawberries and cherries.


He loves snowboarding in the winter and used to spend two hours every Sunday fishing with his dad. His father passed away when he was 13. He spends time with his sister on Thursday nights and Saturday afternoons coaching her soccer team. And for his mother, he cooks dinner for the family every night he can. School gets out at 2:45 every day and has clubs until 5 pm. He comes home before his mother and makes dinner. His sister has practice Thursday night at 7, leaving him plenty of time to help his mother out. No matter how tired he is, he still manages to make A's and maintain a 4.0 GPA. He received the Young Humanitarian Award from the state and both the Caring and Citizenship Awards in school. His passion for others never seems to waiver, no matter how much stress he's under. Sometimes it seems he's ready to grow up and be an adult, but he needs to come back down to Earth for just a moment and realize he's only seventeen and one day he will have time for all of this and more. He has a few theme songs. One is Lions by Skillet. And he often listens to 5 Seconds of Summer, Fall Out Boy, Maroon 5, and many others. Mostly this is to keep him positive and to help him focus on his studies. He is probably one of the few who doesn't do social media or watch memes.
