Tamara started the bass. She let the music flow. She knew no one knew it was really her on that stage, but she wondered if anyone actually did know it was her. She may have been a skilled actress, but you never know.

Jace picked up good guitar and looked to Tamara to start. -- ((It's gonna be so cute, though. XD He takes it over to Ash's and Drake is there and all they hear is screaming from a different room and lamps breaking.)) "They'll finish eventually. And then we can go down and dance in the glitter." Ash was most excited about that. She loved dances and being able to, well, dance. "See, the problem with your costume is that I can't cover your hair in glitter." "Would you be excited to play football? Would you actually like it? I don't think you would." The little about Chase that she knew made her think that he truly wouldn't like it in the least bit. "Is it because you met me and I'm just super cool?" She asked, looking at Chase with a grin. "No! I just know that they're students." Ash answered. Well, it was partially the truth. She didn't know who the girl was. -- ((I WILL REPLY TO EVERYONE ELSE WHEN I GET A CHANCE. HALLOWEEN PARTIES, MAN.)) (Chase is just so confused and smushing the dog's face. "Look how cute he is Drake") Chase laughed a bit. "Huh, guess I'll have to cover my head with all my costumes in the future," he said with a laugh. He was dressed casually underneath in jeans and a red t-shirt. "Arlo and I put a lot of work into these costumes, so don't go ruining it with glitter," he said, easing and eyebrow even though it couldn't be seen under his costume. Chase shook his head. "Nah, I played in middle school. And I wrestled. And played basketball. I quit it all before high school. I still play basketball for my church team, but that's it," he said. "Arlo's still pretty into the whole football thing, but he dropped wrestling and basketball," he said. Arlo actually enjoyed football and chase really just didn't. "Yeah, I guess you could say that. Also my middle school was in a super upper class town. Like everyone there was rolling in money. And some of them were spoiled brats. I mean, we had money too, but my grandma kinda taught Arlo and I to work for stuff, so we luckily never fell into that spoiled rich kid thing." Chase laughed. "Well, if that's how this works, maybe you and I should play at the next dance," he said with a laugh. Chase was he worst musician ver and he wasn't sure Ash had the talent or interest that Jace did, but it was still fun to suggest.

((I am here. ;-; I had parties last night. XD My longtime best friend's brothers had a birthday party. It's so weird because, like, when we were little I used to beat them up but now they're twice the size of me. XD But I love them. They're like my little brothers. And I totally made myself a bedsheet ghost and covered it in glitter glue with ghost-y things. XD Except that my mom cut the eye holes into one giant eye hole and it looked horrible. And then my boyfriend's coworkers had a party, so we went to that and that was fun. XD
But I will reply to things now!))

"Really? She wants to skip with Jace and actually spend alone time with him? I thought she just wanted to, like, hangout with him here or something." Mason was truly surprised. And Sophia even had an entire night planned just for Jace. That was crazy to Mason. "Umm... music, but I'm assuming she already knows that Jace really likes music. He was going to come tonight, but his dad needed his help with something, but he should be here pretty soon."
"Of course Drake did." He didn't always like his little brother or like to admit when he was good at things, but Drake was a master of making people feel better. He listened well and just being his Drake-y self helped out. "Drake, in the middle of night, at Wal-Mart? Sounds terrifying."
"Oh please. Drake's a good boy now. He doesn't do anything bad." Mason had been disappointed when Drake had to stop all sorts of hard partying -- he had looked forward to years of partying with Drake -- but Mason knew that it was necessary. Drake had to stop.

((YES. XD And Ash or Jace is trying to get Drake down from on top of a bookshelf or something and he's just like climbing onto their back to be carried out. XD))
"Oh, do you see this large bucket of glitter?" Ash asked as she dragged one over full of blue glitter. "I intend to use this entire one to ruin your costume... and get it in your hair because that is going to be a pain to wash out." She realized that she really should have chosen something that had covered her hair.
"So you did do some cool sports. Interesting.... Basketball, huh? I never would have guessed that you would play basketball." Although if she had to pick any sport that Chase looked like he would play, basketball would probably be the best answer. "Yeah, I see Arlo at the football games and everything." Even though she had never actually really talked to him.
"I've heard that that is extremely important. The whole looking to work for what you got idea or whatever. Very cool that you know that." Ash, on the other hand, had been spoiled, but she just wasn't a jerk. That being said, she would be in for a world of pain when she did finally get a job.
"Oh please, no. Unless you want everyone's ears to bleed." She had never been into music -- Jace had been, because he felt like it made him closer to their mother. But Ash, on the other hand, just never felt the need to spend hours of her time learning how to sing.
"Oh, look! They're going back!" Ash grinned as they started the two singers picked up the live music once again. "Perfect. They've got to be almost done."

Mia shrugged. "I mean, she said they had a good time ditching the party at his house and so she thought he might be willing to ditch the dance too. I don't know what goes on in my cousin's head. Though I don't see why she forced me to come when she planned to go off on her own and then ditch," she said, shaking her head. She actually was having a good time with Mason. "Yeah, she said she wanted to play music for him but I convinced her not to because none of us have talent. She tried to play the flute in middle school..." Mia shuddered st the memory. "Well, hopefully Jace will be here soon."
Mia laughed. "Well, he wanted to steal candy so I bought him some instead. Jack's ex was the manager that night and so I convinced her to let us see the back room because apparently Drake really wanted to see the back room of Walmart. He gave me a good night, so I figured I'd give him one," she said.
"Good. I'm an innocent child," Mia said for the third or fourth time. She shook her head. Drake had stopped, but Mason hadn't said that he stopped. She tried to imagine the vastly different life she lived from the boy she was dancing with.

(Chase: come on Drake he won't bite. Wook at his wittwe face)
Chase shook his head, a challenge in his eyes. "My hair is staying covered. I don't are if I ruin my costume. Now you, on the other hand, probably shoulda chosen something better," he said. He grabbed a handful of the blue glitter and sprinkled it on top of her hair. That'd be a pain to wash out.
Chase shrugged. "I've been playing it practically my whole life. Gonna suck when I graduate though because the church league only goes up through senior year and then it's done and I have nowhere else to play," he said with a shrug. Him and some of his teammates had already agreed to keep meeting st the church's gym and just playing around after they finish the league, but that wasn't the same when it came to the competitive aspect. "Yeah, Arlo loves football."
Chase nodded. "Grandparents wanted us to be able to live on our own. Our parents will give us money, but not a ton and so we need to work hard to get more. We've both had jobs as soon as we were old enough to get him. It sucks but I guess I can appreciate it in a way."
Chase laughed. "We can do it during RJ murder mystery then. We're the murderers!" he said. Chase was kind of disappointed because if they actually did that theme next year, he wouldn't be able to participate because he had set the whole thing up and knew who the murderer was.
"Sweet," Chase said, watching the masked signeesZ

Finally, the live performance came to an end. Jace was sweating underneath his costume as he looked over at Tamara. "We did good, huh?"

"Maybe," Mason said after a moment of thought, "she made you come so that if she couldn't find Jace, she'd have someone to hangout with..." Although, that idea didn't make sense since Sophia wasn't anywhere nearby. "Yeah, Jace would not be pleased by that."
"But stealing is so much more fun." Mason laughed. He had never actually stolen -- that had been Drake's thing. He just did everything else. "Yeah, he's into some weird stuff."
Mason didn't reply because the music stopped. He stopped dancing and realized that he was covered in sweat. Pleasant. "I've gotta go real quick, alright?" He still had Jace's hat shoved in his pocket.
--
((Drake - *inaudible screaming* XD))
"See, now that is just rude." Ash tried to brush the glitter out of her hair, but she just made it worse. "Oh just take it off real quick." She threw a little handful of the blue glitter, but it wasn't the same.
"Can't you, like, play in college or something?" Ash asked. She looked down at the singers. It seemed like maybe they were coming to an end.
"At least you won't be blindsided by working when you graduate." She pointed out. That was probably what would happent to her and Jace.
Ash laughed. "Not a bad idea, but no thank you." She replied.
At that, Jace and Tamara finished singing. "Perfect! Let's do this." She said and stood up, ready to start dumping glitter.

"Well, have fun wherever you're going," Mia said, pausing when she realized the music was done. She watched Mason disappear into the crowd before heading over for a drink, parched after dancing. (Super short ending for Mia)
***
(Chase would be very amused)
"Don't think I'm that good. Plus, I've never looked into it, and I don't know about church leagues since it's not quite as competitive as high school," he said. He knew most schools would have a lot of players, making it hard for him to make the team. There was a private catholic school he'd been thinking of going to and knew that the student body was small. It'd probably be his best route for basketball, but he wasn't sure he wanted to go there.
Chase grinned, climbing to his feet when it was clear that the musicians were done. He grabbed the bucket of pink glitter and winked at Ash before turning it upside down, listening to a mixture of screams and laughs. He set the bucket aside and grabbed the green glitter, dumping that on the students below.

And then Sophia was just sitting somewhere when the music ended. (*funger guns*)

Ash started dumping other buckets of glitter, grinning as she watched the glitter drench everyone. Wow, this was surprisingly fun.
Eventually, it was done. "Chase... brilliant idea." She told him breathlessly

Jace jackets as glitter fell down from the ceiling. He rolled his eyes and looked up as glitter fell onto him and Tamara.

Chase laughed. "Now, here's the hard part. Do we take credit and risk getting in trouble or de we allow ourselves to be known as he mystery glitterers?" he asked, clearly at a loss for a good name for them. Of course, anyone who connected the dots of a missing chase to the glitter dumping would realize it was him. Anyone who realized he'd been spending a lot of time with Ash lately and that she was missing would realize she had helped.
He tried wiping down glitter off his hands but it stuck, so he shrugged. "Maybe they'll catch us," he paused, "glitter handed," he finished before breaking out into laughter and standing up. It really had been fun.
