"I love that song." Jace said and wrote it down as well. He was going through the music bank in his head, but the vast majority of songs that Jace liked were either not well known, or way too sound to be played at a dance. "Hmm... do you like Imagine Dragons? We could do a couple songs from them. Oh! What about All Star? And I'm A Believer by Smashmouth?" Those were popular and upbeat.

"Oh. I thought you mixed up the names. Sorry." Annabelle shrugged. "Why don't we play "Demons" by Imagine Dragons also? And after we get tired of playing onstage,
I've got connections with a real DJ who won't charge because I'm a friend."

"Yeah," Drake laughed and looked around at the directions. "We could probably go now, if you want. I can work on all this stuff later." He said and gestured to the somewhat nice decorations. "And it's probably good enough for the dance, anyway. No one remembers the decorations."

And my mind literally went to everything from Shrek.

"I do love that song," Jace grinned. "You can if you want. Drake usually has me hook up my laptop and I turn on a playlist and just kind of take care of that music nonsense." Of course, maybe a break would be nice... although Jace was not one for dancing, so he would probably just sit awkwardly against the wall.

"Thanks," Drake laughed and tossed the scissors back into a box. "Alright! Let's go shopping!" With a little hop, he started towards the door and called over his shoulder; "Jace! Annabelle! We're going costume shopping. I'll pick you up something nice, Jacey." He said and winked at his friend.
Jace nodded his head towards Annabelle, and then looked over at Drake. "Alright. Nothing too tight, Drake." He warned.
"Right! Of course not." Drake grinned and then whispered to Maeve. "I wanna make him the Flash."
Jace rolled his eyes and looked back at Annabelle. "Alright, sounds like we've got a plan."

Jace had shown back up at the gymnasium right after school. Drake had gotten him a superhero costume that Blaze is still trying to decide what it is and will accept any thoughts, guys. Anyway, he had the costume shoved into his bag, but wasn't wearing it. The stage was all set up with the necessary equipment for the dance, and Jace was on stage with his guitar, playing little things while he waited for Annabelle.
