Zeke and his sister were new to the school, so he hadn't been aware that the table he was now seated at was one that someone typically used. He hadn't wanted to sit anywhere else given the large amounts of students at the other tables and Zeke's disinterest in trying to talk to others.

The table soon came into view, and Rosa stopped in her tracks, puzzled that someone else was already sitting there. Well this may be awkward... she thought. Oh well, it was better than sitting in the noisy cafeteria. "Hey there", she said casually as she sat across from the other student, trying not to appear uncomfortable. She set her lunch bag down on the table and waved in greeting.

Ash wasn't sure what had gotten into her -- usually she was a really good kid and never got into trouble but today... today, she felt like living a little bit. "What are you thinking? Stealing? Or... ummm...." she frowned. "Well, I guess I don't know what a lot of illegal activities are... teach me the ways." Her frown was replaced by a smile and she clasped her hands together, excited to know what Luke had in mind. Luke blinked at Ash in surprise. He didn't take Ash as someone to break the rules. Luke wondered if she was really okay but he decided to just drop it. (I was thinking they could do little Vandalism but I'm not sure what illegal things they should do) |

"Great! I'll have Jack over there pretty darn soon," she said. "You know, you could take Mia too and get me my apartment all to myself. Or let me stay over cause living with you and Ash has to be better than livin with Jack and Mia," Sophia said. She really figured their house would be a little more tame. She didn't really know Jace's sister, but at her apartment everyone fed off of each other's energy. That usually meant two people would be energized and one had to be annoyed. Sophia was normally pretty annoyed. She felt like Jace would be the one getting annoyed at his place with whatever antics Ash had going on.
"There's some nice guys. You. I'm not asking you to go out with Mia, but do you have any friends that might be good for her? I mean, you seem great and I've really enjoyed the time we spent together and I'm usually the one going after the bad boy types," Sophia explained, giving Jace a little more information that necessary. Oh well.
"Great. So Mia being rebellious isn't going to help anything," Sophia said. "I swear if that girl comes home with dyed hair or a piercing..." she trailed off. She and Jack wouldn't mind. It'd be the parents, the grandparents, the aunts, and the uncles that would make her regret any decision to step out of line.

Mia didn't push the relationship thing anymore. "Well, Mason, if you ever need a friend, you know where to find me," she said. She didn't want to make things worse when she had finally got him talking a little more. As much as she hated it, Mia felt sorry for Mason. She knew he'd just resent it if she said it aloud, so she kept the thought silent. She didn't know enough about him, but it didn't sound like he'd had things as easy as her and her cousins had. And now he was stuck taking care of Drake as well.
"Fun?" she raised an eyebrow and shook her head. "Now, drinking can be fun. I don't do it often, but I do," she said, not asking about the other things he'd mentioned. She didn't think she wanted to know. The fact that she occasionally had a drink wasn't one she shared with people. Sure, she knew plenty of high schoolers did, but she had a bit of a reputation as little miss perfect. After the incident with Adriane, any reputation other than 'girl who spilled food on herself in front of a crowd' was good enough for her.
"Well, that's good that you've kept Drake away. He's a good kid."

(Back finally!)
Rosa took the sandwich out of her bag, determined not to let this unexpected visitor ruin her lunchtime. "You must be new." was all she said. Then she unwrapped the sandwich and took a big bite, happy that she had chosen nutella instead of jelly. The girl couldn't help but smile politely and watch the other student; it would feel rude to just ignore him.

Zeke smiled weakly, feeling more and more uncomfortable in this situation as every minute passed by. "Yeah..." he said, clearing his throat before he tried to continue speaking. Zia had lectured him about trying to make friends and speaking up, something that he wasn't good at in the least bit. "I'm Zeke..." he said before looking up, then down at the table.

"Or if I'm taking Jack, you could take Ash." Jace wouldn't mind a break from his sister, especially with her new friendship with Chase. Plus, she had been acting differently lately. Doing dangerous things and just... not being herself. Maybe leaving the house would help her come to her senses a bit. "Or come stay. We have a lot of guest rooms, you'd be fine. I could even let you stay on a separate side from Jack, for a nice break. Although taking Ash would be nice. Maybe she could eat a bunch of sugar and ruin your apartment with her little friend."
"If I had friends, I would totally help you out, but..." Jace shrugged helplessly. "All I have is Mason and Drake. Drake's a pretty good guy. He doesn't do drugs, drink, and he hasn't dropped out of school. And, he's never broken a girl's heart." Was he really talking up Mason's little brother to Sophia for Mia? It was a crazy idea.
"I'm really thinking she isn't quite there yet. I wouldn't worry too much. It's just a phase. All girls love bad boys, so I wouldn't worry too much." And hopefully, Mason wouldn't let Mia get too far.

"Thanks, but I'll be fine." Mason replied. He'd had plenty of girls and just people in general tell him the exact same thing. If you ever need to talk... At this point, he had started tuning them out. Most people meant that just to make themselves feel good but when you actually needed them, they'd come up with every excuse under the sun to avoid helping you out. Mason had learned and decided long ago that in the end, everyone was alone.
"You? Drink?" He laughed at that, almost not believing her. "I can't believe it. You, the little golden girl, have actually tasted alcohol?" Mason couldn't believe it although, why would she lie to him about it? Unless it was to try and impress him or something, which it did not. He took another puff of his cigarette and then dropped it to the sidewalk, grinding it in with his boot.
"Yeah, well, didn't really have a choice." Mason smirked at her.
"Do you think they're good and we can go?" He asked, looking back through the window at Jace and Sophia. He was just about done with this double date nonsense.

"Okay, how about we switch? You take Jack and I take Ash for a week. Then when that week is up, Jack goes home and I stay with you guys and Ash can go wherever she wants?" Sophia asked with a small laugh. Though it had started with her complaints about Jack and his Dad jokes, she was beginning to enjoy this conversation. Plus it wasn't about all the stupid Mia stuff.
"Aw, I'm sure you have friends," Sophia began. "I'm your friend, right?" she asked, though she knew she wasn't an option for dating her cousin. That'd just be messed up and definitely bring disappointment and disapproval from her family. "And Drake sounds fine, but then Mia would still be around Mason..." she said. Who knows? Mia could even be smart enough then to use Drake as a cover while she actually dated Mason.
"Hopefully. You know, I was excited when she started talking to Mason and then telling me about it, but you really had my back by warning me about him. Thanks, Jace," she said, giving him a small smile. It all stressed her out, but at least she had some kind of idea of what to expect if Mia actually went through with this Mason thing.

Mia shrugged. Again, she didn't want to push Mason. She had never been one to abandon her friends and she hoped Mason could be considered a friend. After all, she didn't have very many friends. It helped that he didn't go to school anymore. "Did you go to this school in middle school?" Mia asked. She didn't keep an he on everyone and couldn't tell when Mason had come to their school, but she believed it was after middle school. Maybe that's why she felt more comfortable around him. He wasn't there for the incident.
"Tasted? I've done more than that," she said with a shrug. "Now, I'm not the kind to go drinking at parties or drink until I pass out, but Jack usually gets some stuff through a friend of his and we just clear any alcohol out of the fridge before parents come to visit." She shrugged again. "You believe me?"
"Probably. Hopefully they've been actually talking to each other and not just about us," she said. She glanced at her cousin and the boy in the restaurant. "You know, I'm kind of surprised Sophia never went after you. I mean, Jace is great and all, but she's always been into guys more like you." Except for that one nerdy artist. Maybe Sophia was ready to do something good for herself for a change.

It was chaotic in there, at least in Rosa's eyes. She could sense that this Zeke guy was similar to her in that aspect. "I'm Rosa by the way."

Luke smiled a bit at her. "I'm fine with doing whatever. Besides, I bet two teens could get into a lot of trouble. How about we do a mix of legal and illegal things. Nothing hardcore like selling drugs but like little vandalism, prank call or two and maybe we prank someone." He suggested.

(I’m not sure where everyone is so I’m just gonna walk into the school now._.)
Sawyer, who was new to the school, nervously teetered into the cafeteria, unsure of where to sit. She observed the cafeteria for several seconds then spotted an empty table close to the back. As quickly as she could, she tread over to the table, with her head down, looking at her feet and trying to avoid eye contact with anybody.
Lyla had stayed home today, she was still asleep in her cozy bed.

Most of the other diners had turned back to their food and conversation, leaving the two of them alone with the waiter. He was the one they had to be careful with in case he was scrutinizing them. "Ah, yes, our wedding will be lovely. My sister's been dying to meet you," he said with a grin. "She was excited when I told her about my plans today." After talking to Keilana, he turned to the waiter. "No thank you. I'm stuffed. Everything here was wonderful though," he said. He then stood there a bit awkwardly. We're the just supposed to leave now? It felt weird to leave a restaurant without paying, but he also wanted to get back to normal. Not hanging on Keilana and telling her how amazing she was. It just didn't feel right with a girl he barely knew. Although he was glad to be with her instead of, like, Chase's crazy ex or something. That girl was weird. {Woahh I'm alive?? What??? This conversation is two days old but anyway dating is a whole other concept for me tbh. My experience is purely through writing and RPing and my friends} "That's very true," Keilana agreed, nodding solemnly. She giggled immediately after. If they were actually together, she would have kissed his cheek or something, but she didn't. It would have been more convincing most likely, but there was no reason to make the both of them any more uncomfortable than they already are. "I'm still mad you haven't introduced us," Keilana huffed. "I should have made you introduce us sooner. I am determined to meet the rest of your family before the wedding." "Well then, enjoy the rest of your day," the waiter told them, still smiling. He nodded to them and walked off. Keilana looked at Arlo, smiling. It was a plastic smile and mostly amused. "I guess we just... go?" She honestly didn't know what to do either. They were both pretty much done with their food, and there was no check. Oh god, why did they think this was a good idea? They were both too awkward for this. |

((I'm with Aurora. XD I've only ever dated my current boyfriend and honestly, we flirted with insults.)) ((Ooh, Ben 10 is cool. o.e They rebooted it? Honestly, I have to go into a very special mindset to be able to roleplay or write out Drake just because of how strange his thoughts are. And his behaviors. And... everything.)) Drake shrugged to the whole conversation on guys. "Well, what do I know?" He replied and continued on with a cheery smile because why the heck not? Nothing got this guy in the dumps... for the most part. "But, Kris, why would you want to be alone? That's so boring. I can hook you up with someone." He offered. Drake did know plenty of single guys that he, personally, thought were attractive. "Yes, let me see this attractive Kyle with the bad personality." He laughed. "Does that make him a bad boy? Because isn't that the definition of bad boy? 'Attractive with really bad morals'?" And from Drake's experience, girls seemed to fall for the bad boys no matter what. It was strange. What was so attractive about a guy on a motorcycle with nice hair and no difference between right and wro-- .... Okay, now Drake was also attracted to this metaphorical bad boy. "Girl, please." Drake did a sassy little finger waggle at Kris. "Am I cool? Girl, I am the definition of cool. I am so cool, I caused the first Ice Age." He laughed and hopped into the backseat of Jordan's car, looking around in Kris's sunglasses that he assumed made him look even cooler. "Laser maze! Laser maze!" He started chanting quietly to himself in the backseat, excited to give this a try. {I too would flirt with insults. That sounds perfectly acceptable. Yeahhh it got rebooted a couple of times. It just..... went way downhill after Ultimate Alien. The original show would always be the best but it was okay the next two shows and then it just got terrible Every time you RP Drake I just laugh at his thoughts} "It's not like I want to be alone," Kris said, rolling her eyes. "It's just like, what's the point in high school? It's not that important, and it's not like anybody actually likes me. If you can find a handsome guy that I could debate with who's a little bit of a jerk but not all that bad and, most importantly, likes me, then we have a deal." She was half-joking. It would be nice if a guy actually liked her, but she didn't have much faith in Drake actually doing it. "No, Jordan," Kris said, quickly realizing the risks with that. "Absolutely not." She gave her a look. "I think I have some pictures on my phone that you sent me. Not that I really get why you need to see him. He's so.... gah!" She almost swore, but stopped herself when she looked at Richie. She huffed and took out her phone, scrolling through texts with Jordan. She bit her lip and eventually came across a photo. "Here." She thrust the picture in his face. "He's like, a bad boy I guess but I like to think of bad boys as more..." She tried to think of a way to phrase it without being insensitive to Jordan. "...hidden depths of kindness under a rough exterior than a guy who would rather attend a party than buy flowers." She hoped that wasn't too insensitive. "I... that was such a bad line, oh my god." Kris laughed as she put Richie in his carseat. Then she headed to the driver's seat. "Um, excuse you, I know how to drive. Don't tell me of all people not to hit anything." She probably just jinxed herself. Oh well. |

((Well I wasn't going to get on tonight because I'm tired and sick, but here I am. XD
I didn't even do anything this weekend, but I'm tired...? >.<
Oh! But I emailed this training club because I'm considering switching dog trainers. I wrote a lovely worded message expressing what classes I was interested, asking about their training tactics, etc.
The return email literally started out "It sounds like you are very much into dogs!"
The fact that people can tell that even over an email. XD
Anyway, I will try and get around to adding people now after I'm reply to stuff! =3))

At about this time, Ash received a text from her older brother, Jace, that simply read "I'm kicking you out of the house for a week.""Oh, you have got to be kidding me..." she grumbled. |
