yes I'm currently stuck on choosing a plot for my next project. I have it narrowed down to like four

Yeah, I'll warn you, none of them are extremely original and all are geared more towards the ya audience cause I just don't think I have he maturity and skills to write an adult thing right now (though I do have an idea for the future). Also I'm not sure any of these are publishing material, it's more just me writing something for myself/family/practice

One kind of uses the idea of a 'chosen one'. There's basically another world where it's common to have super powers. The chosen one is actually chosen by the old chosen one instead of some prophecy. And the chosen one's job is to travel between our world and theirs and protect humans from different things (villains, certain disasters, etc). Well the new chosen one is just getting used to their job when a new villain rises that they'll have to defeat. The villain ends up being their old best friend or sibling that went missing years ago

The next one takes place totally in a separate land. Four 'kingdoms' have powers and the ruling council has five seats. There's one for each kingdom and a fifth that gets put up as a prize every two years. Each kingdom chooses their best young person to fight for the spot. The story would be about one of the youngest people ever winning the spot (teens/twenties) and then since they're so politically inexperienced, they get taken advantage of and realize how manipulative and terrible the government is and this one isn't real developed?

Due to the crushing pressure of her family, a girl makes her way into the popular group at school. She enjoys writing and is almost done with the first draft of a book that focuses on her 'friends' and their antics at school. She's brutally honest in it and one of her 'friends' discovers it on her laptop. She's outcasted from the popular group and meets some other unpopular students that teach her to not give in to her family's pressure and enjoy life.

A group of twins or triplets or quadruplets transfers to another school and the main character realizes they have a secret. The ideas I had Is that they were foreign royalty, spies, the children of celebrities, or had powers. I think this one has potential and I like it, but it isn't very developed.

Not too far in the future, a lot of the cities and such are destroyed. NYC is one of the get habitable places. When the world 'ended' (which destroyed the cities and such) some people developed powers. Those powers are frowned upon and he people are taken away and likely killed. Two siblings escape from their neighbors house and end up discovering a rebellion forming in the unused subway tunnels. After demonstrating their powers, the siblings are let in. The group ends up saving the life of one of the enemy soldier/guard/people and in return he promises to help their cause.

These are just basic rundowns. Most have more details in my notebook. I'm also going between wanting something action packed and exciting and something more every day school kinda thing? Which is why I think the 4th might work? Idk I'm pretty terrible at this plot thing

I may, I guess it just kind of depends on how I feel about it. I'm definitely going to posit it somewhere so I can get opinions that aren't from family

I read through them, and I think they all have potential. =3

I am also having a hard time trying to decide which story to focus on in my series in a world that I created. >.> *heavy sigh*

And also, to add to the conversation, hello! And I often find myself writing the beginning of a story that has real potential but no way to continue it/end it. It makes me really sad lol.

Okay, now I finally understand what 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 meant about the role-playing thing now that an announcement about it has been made. I don't spend any time in the role-playing forum at all, but this is still cool.
