so, I was on the forums for about five years and I've had a few accounts, but my Ravenwolf account has been one of my favorites, role play wise. these will probably make an appearance on the off-topic board at some point, once they're edited. so, this is my dump of some of my favorites.

welcome to eryx
Once, in a dreamed world, ancient guardians fixed problems that arose within a wealthy and beautiful country. Once, they burned enemy cities to the ground, destroyed monstrous foes, and walked in shimmering adoration. This world is not Eryx. Eryx is a lie. Bloodied, war torn Eryx has been fighting for breath since the civil war. Fighting since the blues murdered the silvers. In Eryx, there is only one god; Death, and he is going nowhere. the joining page
the country of eryx
The country of Eryx is a medium sized one made up of mountains, rivers, and rough moors. They rely heavily on the mining of materials and the making of their infamous steel to keep their economy flowing, even if it is at a snail's pace. When Eryx was established there was two courts to rule over the peasants. The blues were the upper class, a royal family of plump aristocrats. The silvers were royalty in their own right, but only to the peasants. They were the warriors, hardened and calloused. But, there was another class, besides the silvers, blues, and peasants. They were above the rest. Ancient guards that mimicked the gods of the old world. The only link to the old world, the only link back to magic, to the darkness that destroyed the old world. The Zodiacs. For just a brief history lesson, the blues got angry that the peasants loved the silvers and the silvers had so much power. They made all the decisions when it came to Eryx, but ultimately, it was the silvers who kept Eryx out of war, debt, and starvation. So, the blues murdered the silvers in their beds. The peasants revolted. The Zodiacs can do nothing except serve the blues, even if they do not agree with them. Yet, there is unrest in the air. Eryx is falling, a prophecy is coming true, and the fates of all hinge upon the Zodiacs. When it comes to cities and towns, many of them are just outcrops of the mines. They have gray people within gray homes. Bleak sight to see, but this is Eryx. The royal palace is hardly glamorous, but it is spacious, since it used to hold dozens and dozens of nobles at some points. It is built into the side of the largest mountain chain, and is known as the Shard, because of the jagged and asymmetrical look to the dark gray stone it is made out of. plot
MAIN: Eryx has just come out of a civil war, the blues prevailing over the peasants and placing a young and ambitious king on the throne. The borders have other hungry kingdoms itching to invade the vulnerable Eryx. The rebellion flames are hardly quenched, just patted down for a little. The world is a bit upside down for the people of Eryx, but this role play is relatively small. At least for the time being. Their are twelve Zodiacs, who are the primary characters, and probably a few blue characters as well. The Zodiacs, depending on your character, will either be still faithful to the blues; since they are the ruling class, or start to work with the rebellion. This is a light fantasy role play, so it doesn't rely heavily onto magic, but it certainly could have more elements rolled into it, should that be desired.

the zodiacs
The Zodiacs are a royal guard that watched over and protected whoever should rule Eryx. According to legend and rumor that circulates among peasants, the Zodiacs are immortal, god-like figures that are unstoppable. However, this is hardly true. The actual truth to the story is that the original names and symbols for each of the Zodiacs is similar to the old gods in the old world. They are the last true link to magic in the old world. And the Seer, or Original is in fact immortal, but the rest are not.
There are twelve Zodiacs, technically thirteen if you count two for Gemini. They are usually twenty-something peasants who come are chosen by an odd and unexplained type of magic. The Zodiacs have been around for centuries, but it seems like none of them ever die. This is because when one of them dies, another person immediately gets a Zodiac tattoo. They are chosen for a lifetime service. The Seer finds them, collects them, and brings them back to train and become one of the famous guardians. They must lose all sense of their former self. Even their last name and truly become their Zodiac.
The twelve Zodiacs, their tattoos and weapons are ;
AQUARIUS - Their tattoo is usually on their shoulder and down their arm, and it is of an outline of a person pouring water from a bucket down their arm. Their weapon is a gold and aqua colored trident, encrusted with blue and green jewels.
PISCES - Their tattoo is that of two fishes and tend to be on their inner wrist, or on their forearm. Their weapon
is a pair of silver daggers, each sharpened and usually comes with a sheath that straps to their arms.
ARIES - Their tattoo is on their back or shoulders and is the head with the massive horns of the ram. Their weapon is a blood red staff with the ram's horns curving out of the top.
TAURUS - Their tattoo is usually on their back or thigh, and is of the bull, or just the bull head with the horns. Their weapon is a long, scythe, the blade made of a sharpened bull horn, like a hook. They fight with this from above in the trees, slicing down to take off the head of an enemy.
GEMINI - The Gemini are not one, but two. This Zodiac comes in a pair. Two identical boys or girls that can complete each others sentences, look exactly the same, and are connected. If one dies, the other does too. They feel the same and can are linked together. Their tattoo is on the same place of both twins, on either the shoulders or the hips. It is of one half of the twin, reaching out for the other. Their weapon is one double swords, both a glowing gold color. The blade is flexible, and light, but incredibly strong. They are identical, one given to each twin. They usually fight back to back, knowing each other and can take on many enemies.
CANCER - Their weapon is a dark red leather whip. It is longer than most whips and is usually coiled around their arm. It takes a bit to get used it, and a great deal of arm strength is needed to wield this whip. Their tattoo usually lies on their dominant hand where their whip coils, on the palm. Their tattoo is a crab, dark and large, curling around their fingers.
LEO - Their tattoo extends down their arm, and is the outline of a roaring lion. Their weapon is a glowing red-yellow cutlass, which is a short, broad sabre or slashing sword, with a straight or slightly curved blade sharpened on the cutting edge, and a hilt often featuring a solid cupped or basket-shaped guard.
VIRGO - Their tattoo is located along their chest right over their heart. It is the outline of a woman holding out flowers in her hand. Their weapon is a small, silvery green dagger with an emerald on the hilt. It is small and slender, but quite effective for throwing, or being tipped with poison.
LIBRA - Their tattoo is usually between their shoulder blades or on their neck. It is just a scale perfectly even and balanced with shots of green through the scales. Their weapon is a kaskara, which is usually about a yard long, double edged sword and with a spatula tip. It is a mottled green color, the hilt with decorated a dull, smooth opal.
SCORPIO - Their tattoo is located on their neck, curving up along their jaw. It flexes with their movement, and can sometimes look a bit scary. The Scorpio weapon is a silver and blue longsword, which is described as having a cruciform hilt with a grip for two-handed use and a straight double-edged blade. It is flexible, and sometimes the tip is dipped into scorpion venom.
SAGITTARIUS - Their tattoo is on their back, usually on the lower tailbone area. It is bow crossed with arrows. Their weapon is predictably a shiny onyx bow with blue highlights, silver arrows with navy feathers on the end.
CAPRICORN - Their tattoo is located on the center of their back, and is a goat's head, with the horns gliding back. Their weapon is a gray and dark purple axe, with amethysts on the handle. It is long, the blade sharp on both ends.
the blues
The blues are now the one and only ruling class. They control all decisions and have placed a King on the throne, something that has never been done in Eryx's history. He is young, ambitious, and many believe the wrong fit for an ailing and limping country. He is used to lavish things, servants bowing to every word, and having everything handed to him. Yet, he is a 'war hero.' Although some whisper he is a 'freedom slayer' and 'destruction for us all.' The blues are a small family, many of them killed during the civil war against the revolt. Only five remain, when once their was dozens and dozens. Their is also a small blue council of nobles who have lavish titles and such who advise the new King. The blues have also gained control over all trade decision, including the trade of Ery steel, which is a strong and flexible steel that comes from the rare and specific iron ore from the Eryx mountain regions; called Aster Iron. The iron is harder to work with, but with a skilled blacksmith, the product is worth it. When forged the flames take on an odd purple-violet glow around them, and whatever weapon and object is made has a violet hue to very dark gray surface, especially in the sun. The blues famously had a sword forged from it, called Blue Calling and has now had a crown forged from it with beautiful, but fake sapphires placed in it.

the rules1. follow all forum rules. Pretty obvious I'd think. 2. this is a pretty advanced/literate role play. this means please have at least a paragraph or so post. at least enough to keep going. Not every post has to be a novel, but at least have some substance to your post. At least correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling. 3. on a note of characters; only one Zodiac per person. There are very limited characters, since I'd like to keep this small. Also, while Zodiacs have weapons and excellent combat skills, they are human. So keep them human and flawed and normal! 4. please try to keep the gender ratios equal. This may not work out perfectly and be completely even, but it should be somewhat. I don't want a role play full of all females or all males. 5. LGBTQ+ characters are allowed and encouraged! 6. Join on the joining page with the correct form and please read everything. that's all folks ;3
I'd just like to clarify, this is a light fantasy role play. It takes place in a fantasy world, yes, but it isn't much different than ours. It isn't as complex or complicated as Game of Thrones, and I hope everything was easy to understand. It doesn't have much of a magic system, if any at all, and a small history. Eryx is a young, but tumultuous country. I didn't want it to get bogged down in anything complicated, mainly because that would become too much for just a successful and fun role play. While literate, I want it to be fun. Don't worry too much about getting the "exact" details of a fantasy role play right. But, if you want to be precise and exact, go ahead.
DISCLAIMER: This role play is entirely mine. The idea, the words, and such. However, I give credit where credit is due. Quite obviously, I did not come up with Zodiacs, they are common knowledge. I don't take credit for the names & their symbols. I was inspired by The Queen of the Tearling. The concept about the old world our world regressing into a medieval world came from that book and I highly recommend. The idea of a civil war for power between the silvers and the blues was inspired by the factions from the war in A Song of Ice and Fire known as a Dance with Dragons. All characters, plots, and writing within the role play belongs to its respective owner.

When Ever was born, she was hardly fit for life. A couple months early, and born in the dead of winter, her birth was so rough, her mother passed away. Left with a young nursemaid named Eclipse, and her father, they traveled down towards the south, where the demon population had not yet reached. As she grew older, she learned from her father the ways of the land. For her sixteenth birthday she was given a silvery white oak bow and glossy silver arrows with blue tips the color of her eyes. After she was blessed by the Zodiacs, her father was attacked by demons, thus giving her a reason to fight them.
Physically, Ever is about medium height, 5'6" with broad-shoulders, a narrow waist, and slender hips. She's athletic, her long legs strong with wiry muscles. She has extremely fair skin, revealing the beautiful black inked tattoos that swirl on her skin. She has dark, jet-black hair that falls to her waist in slight rippling waves. Her eyes are a piercing blue, sharp as steel. In the pale moonlight, her eyes looked almost gray and her hair almost purple. She's has a slender face, elegant and angled, her lips pale and almost frozen. She can be described as beautiful, but if you do like her looks, she's a natural beauty.
To anyone who meets Ever, it seems as if one falls under a spell. She holds an air of dominance and authority. She isn't tender, nor faint of heart. She's stoic, almost stony and icy. She does care for those around her, yet in a motherly way. She has been on the Earth for a great deal of time, and she's seen her friends fall. To some, many may fear her due to the strength that ebbs off her. Yet, she does have limitations, fears, and anxiety. She is proud, stubborn, and brave. She sometimes seems like she has the world on her shoulders, and she feels the burden. She knows her mission, and knows the fire within her belly is always going to keep burning.
Since Ever is the Original, she has thirteen tattoos. One to prove she is the Original, which is just an eye on her left palm. The Scorpion is curved to the side of her neck, it's claws nearly up onto her cheek from her jaw. On the top of her left hand is a the silhouette of a pouncing lion, and on her right hand is two swirling fish in a never ending loop. On her back, between her shoulder blades is that of a ram's head, and just below it in the center of her back is a goat head. On her lower back is a bull head. On her left thigh is a crab, and on her right thigh is a maiden with flowers in her palm. On her stomach is a centaur with the bow and arrow. On her chest is the silhouette of a man with scales in both hands. On the back of her neck two people swirling together, both identical. Finally, on the front of her left shoulder is a small jug pouring rivets of water down her arm.

[ xx ] Aries will be the most passionate, the most fiery in spirit. They tend to use their words to cut into others, and know who they are. Some may be bullies, and will defend without mercy. The Aries tends to be the most brutal and dark. Aries are all powerful and brute force, always going in with the head lowers and horns waving. They are Warriors, fierce in battle. Yet, this passion is asserted in other ways, such as to motivate and to train. They work to the brink, shoving over the edge of their limits. Aries can tire quickly, yet they will continue on. They seem to find good use for their energy. Once they have an idea, it is hard to get them to change their mind, or get them to think logically. They are often short-tempered. This Zodiac has the tattoo usually on their back or shoulders. It is quite large, and can be either just the head with the massive horns of the Ram, or it can be the body. Typically it is black with red highlights, since red is the color of this Zodiac. The Aries weapon is that of a staff. It is a bloody scarlet red, with the ram's horns curving out of the top. Since Aries is the first Zodiac to be made, it is the staff that guides the rest, herding the others into line. It is used to knock demons over, and the two horns curving out can piercing into the heart. It can also be used as a battering ram.
[ xx ] Taurus is not the one who ventures out into the unknown and leads the way, Taurus is the one that will follow the leader and strengthen and build upon the discovered, in other words they are the one that will "dot the I's and cross the T's". This perseverance is given to them by their stubborn streak. Taurus stubborn streak is what gives their independence. They like to do things their way. They are perfectly fine on being alone, this way things get done they way they want them to be done. Taurus is not a follower, but they are not the brave one either. Taurus is perfectly independent. With their perseverance, they get things done and can do quite well for themselves. Their tattoo is usually on their back or thigh, and is of the bull, or just the bull head with the horns, and highlighted with a deep orange. Their weapon is a long, scythe, the blade made of a sharpened bull horn, like an impossible hook. They fight with this from above in the trees, slicing down to take off the head of an enemy.

Change and freedom are extremely important to Gemini, they will never let anyone dictate them, they are extremely independent and freedom is essential to their mental well being. Their tattoo is on the same place of both twins, on either the shoulders or the hips. It is of one half of the twin, reaching out for the other. Their weapon is one double swords, both a glowing gold color. The blade is flexible, and light, but incredibly strong. It can be compared to the ancient Steel. [ xx ] Leo is an extremely fiery, extremely independent Zodiac. He/she wears their heart on their sleeve. He/she is brave and fierce, like the lion. Yet, sometimes they can get lazy, not wanting to negotiate or train. They want everything handed to them, and it is hard to push them. They're stubborn, and often have tempers. They don't let things fester, and they tend to let everyone know how they feel. Sometimes they can act like children, and throw temper tantrums. They are risk-takers, pleasure-seekers, and tend to be outgoing and athletic. They're sometimes prideful, but they are one of the most-liked. This Zodiac tattoo tends to extend down their arm, and is naturally; the outline of a roaring lion; shimmering with gold highlights. They know right from wrong, and have an extremely strong moral compass. You don't want to mess with him/her though, they will cut through you with words and you never want to argue with them. They are beings of logic, and business. Not many fall in love. Their tattoo is usually between their shoulder blades or on their neck. [ xx ] Probably one of the most feared of the Zodiacs. The Scorpio Zodiac is known for brutality, strength, and being sly. They sting, much like the animal that represents them. They are destructive when angry, and can become quite violent. They have a short fuse, but if it isn't lit, they are quiet and stoic. They are fearless in their endeavors, and seem to be extremely brave. He/she can be reckless, and do not enjoy being told to stay behind. They are clever, quick of wits, and fast learners. They don't have patience, though, making them hard to control and again; very reckless. Their tattoo is located on their neck, curving up along their jaw, highlighted with a glint of light blue in the claws. It flexes with their movement, and can sometimes look a bit scary. The Scorpio weapon is a silver and blue longsword, which is described as having a cruciform hilt with a grip for two-handed use and a straight double-edged blade of around 90 to 110 cm. It is flexible, and sometimes the tip is dipped into scorpion venom.
[ xx ] Quiet, reserved, and intelligent. He/she who is Sagittarius is extremely intelligent, and tends to be a dreamer. They look up to the stars. They're quiet, stealthy, and fast. They are philosophers, and problem-solvers. They are more lovers, than fighters, but protective and skillful. They tend to lean more on the shy side, yet they are quite wise. Some have been naïve, innocent, and quite sensitive. However, they've all been mysterious, dark, and reserved. They work for the cause, and tend to not get too attached. [ xx ] Pisces tend to depend on intuition more than on rational mind. Surprisingly, this intuition can help to choose the right path better than the mind does. On the surface it may appear that they are too slow and too dreamy but in fact, they are distinguished for their great perceptivity and ability to accommodate themselves to various situations and people. Most of the time, they don’t have intentions to be leaders, and they rarely ever break rules. Still, they are able to achieve whatever they want, and a saying can be applied here: “Say what you want, I’ll do it my way.” It is the most humble and reserved of all Zodiac signs. The sign of Pisces, a pair of Fish is an indicator that it tends to “go with the flow”. The symbol also suggests that this sign is quite dual, and it is often the case with these people. They are torn between reality and dreams, and when their illusions don’t correspond with actual facts, it is no surprise that they end up with heartache. It is almost like one side of them is reaching upwards and another is going downwards. Their tattoo is that of two fishes and tend to be on their inner wrist, or on their forearm. Coldwater, Maine is a normal, rural town with little to nothing exciting going on. And that's the way that the wolves like to keep it. Coldwater is guarded by an ancient secret, it's very own supernatural police; the werewolves. While, they are not quite the ones you see in movies without any control, they are not the wild, smaller creatures that also share territory. The real, true wolves steer clear of these 'special' ones. Bigger, faster, stronger than others. Their bloodlines are pure, woven through many generations, since they were given the land to nurture and protect. These lands have been sacred for generations, protecting an ancient culture that forged the very foundation of our society. Even if the faces and colors have changed over the years, they still have ancient blood. The wolves are just there to protect the land from enemy packs who wish to expand their own land. The grounds of Coldwater are the most valuable to other wolf packs, and has a value that is priceless. It is beautiful, simply and truly, and a wonderful place to live. If it didn't have the drama.

xx -- The first rule is super simple. Stay active! This is an in-depth role play with lots of characters, hopefully lots of plot, and drama. I want this to be successful and go deep into plots, twists, and turns, but only with you staying active! You don't need to devote every second to this role play, but I'd like you to make an effort to be on here and role playing
xx -- Definitely include new members! I know how hard it is to be new to a role play! We might be far along, but someone usually has someone open, so please include someone. Typically when someone is "lurking" it means they are lonely and probably want to role play. And if they don't, okay, that's fine too.
xx -- This is an advanced role play with tons of ways to have your character interact with surroundings. We aren't in a boring ole' soap opera! Express thoughts, feelings, make your character come alive with sight, sounds, smells, and overall make them life-like and fleshed out with words! You don't have to write a novel, but please let myself, and other role players have some semblance of where your character is, what is going on with them, and how they are! This is a literate, advanced role play, so please no 'Bob walked over to the library to talk to Clara.' That's not only very vague, but often times is kind of annoying to deal with if I'm writing a ton and you aren't. I'm a post matcher, so if you write two paragraphs, I typically will write two back. If you write four or five, I'll match it. But one-liners, nah.
xx -- Don't do all that power plays, and making your character's invincible. Sure, everyone has legends, like one of my favorite characters here, Sebastian, but he has weaknesses too! No Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus, because they are not fun! Try to detailed, with giving flaws. And no, stubborn, but has a kind side to people he/she knows, is not a flaw. It's a good thing backhanding a bad thing, and is annoying and cheating. Also, try to keep genders even, probably every two characters of the same gender, make one of the opposite. It should be about even.
xx -- Finally, have fun. Yes, this is a rule. If you aren't having fun, figure out why. Is someone mean? Are you not engaging yourself in the role play? Think, who is doing what to whom. If you expect everyone to just role play with your character, probably not going to happen. Talk to other people and make up some cool subplots! Make it complex! I love drama! It equals more fun! As long as it is PG, and you use my good old pal skip, and are vague on violence, we're good!

While most of the work put into the role play has been mine, I'd like to clarify that none of it is free. It may not be used for any other role play, and if I see it used in any remote way, I won't hesitate to report. This role play originally opened on November 19th, 2014 and was one of my favorite role plays I ever made. So I decided to reopen it for business. This is a clean slate and all other plots will most likely not be used. The first banner was created by ~Sandclaw~ at Lucid Dreams Premades and Graphic Shop. Some of the werewolf laws come from the film adaptation of Blood and Chocolate, and the names of rankings are derived from Greek Letters. Those born of the purest of bloodlines, the strongest ones, the heirs of the wolf kingdom. The hold command over the entirety of the pack, and is extremely hard to disobey an Alpha, and if the mind of those disobeying is weak, they will feel physical pain and usually be forced to submit. Alpha's give off an extremely bright flare, their physical and mental power are the highest, and while they have the most power, they usually always have the best interest of the pack, and are usually very respected. The first born child of the Alphas will become the next True Alpha to lead, and he/she will pick an Alpha Bred mate. True Alphas and Bred Alphas are similar and very different. A True Alpha is born as the leader of the pack, and while genetics usually determines this, it is a dominant trait so it shows up in most wolf offspring of the current Alpha Male and Female. Bred Alphas are born as Alpha from parents that aren't Alphas themselves [or the siblings of the Alpha Male/Female]. This is a rare occurrence, but usually they do not become pack leader, since the True Alpha has a very strong connection with his pack due to just a stronger bloodline, although it is possible for a Bred Alpha to overcome the True Alpha and defeat them to become the True Alpha. The Alphas marking paw print tattoo is usually right over the heart and is a golden color.

While their power is not as great or affluent as that of the Alphas, the Beta born are still very strong wolves. They are usually trained with the Alphas, and despite not necessarily having to come from a Beta bloodline, it is more common to have Beta parents than not. Even if a wolf is born Beta, their spot is not guaranteed as the Alpha's second-in-command. The Alpha chooses their closest and most loyal Beta to be his/her liaison of sorts. Beta are not like Alphas, since they do not have True or Bred Betas. You are simply a Beta, and can rise to the ranks of a High Beta, or just remain as a Epsilon. A Male or Female Beta can be chosen, then he/she will choose his/her mate as another Beta. The Beta's identifying mark is on their lower stomach and is a sky blue paw print.

The next rank would be the Gammas. These four wolves are the second closest to the Alpha, and keep everything in check deep within the pack. The Gammas are born as Gammas, but not all desire to be the bodyguards of the Alpha and Beta. It is a noteworthy job, and is much higher than the Deltas and the Epsilons. Their identifying mark is between the shoulder blades, and the paw print is orange in color. The Gamma are hand selected by the Alpha, and usually very close to the Alpha. They can be either male or female, as long as they are willing to sacrifice for their leader. The wolves that are born Gamma, but do are not selected, or ask not to, their mark begins to fade and they get a tattoo of the Epsilons paw print, this being their permanent position now.

The healers, tender-souls, shamans, who keep the pack knitted together physically. While becoming a Delta is a position given by birth and blood, it takes a special type of Delta to truly become a full healer. They are physically, the weakest of the wolves, just above the Omegas, and if they were to reject the Delta in them, they would be cast as an Omega. Deltas are rare, but are born to a mother if she gives birth under the blood moon. The process is not completely known, but this could account for the red-colored paw print marking on their throat. These wolves are typically very small, slender, and rarely do they shift into their true wolf forms, usually because of their overall weakness, but they are highly intelligent and should not be messed around with. They often give the Alpha medical advice and their devotion is purely to the pack, and they do not take mates.

The majority of the pack is this rank. It is the most common of the ranks, and even wolves born to former Betas and Gammas will usually be an Epsilon, while it is not unlikely for an Epsilon wolf child to be born Beta or Gamma, or even a Bred Alpha. Those wolves that are born other things and decide to just become a regular Epsilon, usually will get the tattoo of the Epsilon marking, which is a green paw print on their left or right hip depending on hand dominance. While being an Epsilon is not a particularly exciting job, nor is it terribly important, they still do have a purpose. To hunt and protect. To have mates and children, and to live as normal a life as wolf can have.

For those born without a marking are an unusual bunch. While they are part of the pack, and come from parents who had paw prints, the Omegas of the pack are few and rare. The Omegas are weak, stagnant, and are usually the lowest of the low. They are completely under the Alpha's influence and no Omega may defy him/her. The Omega come from a very weak gene, and have the mutation that they can't even shift. While they are not completely useless, they do not usually go on hunts. They usually stay at the home, and help out with house work rather than be a higher wolf. They can be, but not always, be a half-wolf, half-human, which is forbidden. Although, it is not always the case. An Alpha Male and Alpha Female could possibly have an Omega child. The gene for it is very recessive and rarely occurs.

﹣ ﹣ Tʜᴇ Lᴀᴡs
Bare The Throat - As a sign of respect for the Alphas, all members who are below the Alphas in rank, must turn their heads and moved their hair to show their throat, as a sign of respect and trust. Usually this is also involved with taking one knee, although not always. It is usually only done when the Alpha first arrives or if the wolf is disturbing the Alpha. The Alpha will motion for them to signal that they've received the honor and then the wolf may rise to their standing position. During meetings this is done at the beginning, and any wolf who does not do it is showing great disrespect and both the pack and Alpha is angry. Usually this sign of disrespect is shown when another Bred Alpha wishes to fight the True Alpha for the title and blood right.
Full Moon Hunt - While most wolves hunt with the pack for animals, every Full Moon the entire pack must gather together [minus omegas] and run through the forest and hunt together. It brings the pack closer, and it is led by the Alpha Male and/or Female. It is a time of great togetherness under the Moon which they believe gave them their ability to shift. It is not a sign of crazy, or insanity, but a time of great bounty and togetherness. The Full Moon seems to heighten the sense and the packs interconnecting webs of thoughts seems to be strong. This is also a time when the Alpha Male or Female becomes ready do they announce their choice of mate.
The Blood Moon - The time of the year when the full moon turns a deep, dark red, although sometimes it will just be a part of it, or the color will be faint. But when it is completely red and the color absorbed, it is most dark time for the wolves. It is the time when the Deltas are the strongest, since that is usually the time they were born. They happen rarely, but on those days it seems to be that more wolves get sick, killed, and are attacked by others. It is said that some wolves have gone crazy during the Blood Moon. This is usually a bad omen if it is completely blood-soaked red, usually meaning war and famine to come. This is the only time when the Full Moon hunt will not occur, because it is a bad omen.
Humans Must Never Know - While this rule has been broken, it is strictly forbidden. The only way to make a wolf that has the ability to shift painlessly is by no human blood is mixed, tainting and weakening the wolf blood. Even if the human child can shift, they will be considerably smaller and weak, even more so than a regular wolf. Plus, it is extremely painful for a half-human half-wolf to shift, and it takes a very long time to recover and if done too many times in a row, can kill the human-wolf child. Wolves must never mingle and be friends with humans, or become any where close. The wolves protect ancient land of deep power and strength, and the humans do not understand it. The wolves must rule with a firm, but shadowed fist.

Welcome to the wealthiest city in the world. And unfortunately, the most corrupt. Blood feuds rule the streets, and tempers cause destruction of wealthy families and common civilians. But these families are not ordinary. Oh no, when are they ever? They are Shifters and Valyria is their city. Beware.

This role play is fairly simple. The idea is that in a fictional city family companies have boomed in the last hundred years to about our time now. Each family has their own industry and controls a different part of the city of Valyria. It is ruled by the Castamere family, the wealthiest in Valyria. However, each family has a secret. Their bloodlines can turn into an animal, the symbol of their family. For example, the Castamere line can turn into lions, while the Buchanan line can turn into large deer, however since the line is predominantly male, they are often just called the Stags. The idea as the role play continues is that these families make alliances with one another to fight others for control and dominance over Valyria.

The Setting
Valyria is a very large, illustrious city. It has everything anyone could ask for. Tall, shimmering towers that scrape the sky with such power within that it seems like the people running them are Gods. It is known for the tall buildings, each one easily identified by the Family that owns its ruling colors. Otherwise, the city has many back alleys for making deals, and is full of places to go and eat and enjoy. wip. more to come
The Humans
The Humans do play a crucial role in this role play. Most humans do not know about the Shifters, while others do, yet have usually never seen the true form of the Shifters. Some Families would rather, or even because their are no other lines of their animal will marry their children to humans, since the Shifter genes are dominant, the child will automatically be a Shifter of that animal. For example the Bolton's have been marrying their children to humans, just due to the lack of other Raven bloodlines. Some of these human families have been friends of the Shifter families for a very long time.
The Other Shifter Families
The other Shifter families are smaller and are not one of the Great Families, however, the other Lion families are loyal to the Castamere family, and typically their sons and daughters can be wed to a Castamere to continue on the family line. These Shifters are just regular ones, and sometimes they can be shifters of another animal, such as hares and horses, but they do not have strong or abundant family lines or successful businesses and money.

 As the wealthiest and most powerful family is Valyria, the Castamere family is dominant. They are powerful, beautiful, and run the banks of Valyria. Money flows and riches are abundant. The Castamere family is defined by their golden hair, luminous green eyes, and tall, statuesque figures. Everyone seems to radiate confidence and beauty. Their allies are the Tyrell Foxes, Volantis Tigers, and the Arryn Falcons. THE LION THE HEIR THE TWIN LIONS THE LIONESS THE LITTLE LIONESS
 The Buchanan family has risen quite recently to be the second-wealthiest family in Valyria. Their trade is ships and trading overseas. They support and build their own ships, which are the finest and fastest in Valyria. If for leisure, or for the navy, the Buchanan family probably built it. They are known for their strong broad shoulders, tall frames, and dark hair and blue eyes. They have many other families as their allies including the extinct Stark Wolves, along with the Tyrell Foxes [tentative], the Arryn Falcons, and Bolton Ravens [tentative]. The Buchanan line is dominated by all males, hence why they are named the 'Stags'. THE BUCK THE LADY DOE THE HEIR THE STAGS
 Once the most powerful family, torn down by bad blood and darkness. The Blackfyre family has been haunted by a long and bloody past, one that held greatness and glory, but also turmoil and insanity. The Blackfyre family made their business in the art of computers and artificial intelligence. Their famous computer program named Balerion could break into any device or coded program. While the younger versions, Meraxes and Vhaghar could create undetectable viruses that would quickly kill any computer and destroy anything it needed to by bringing up digital flames and the computer would then fizzle out. However, the family was corrupted and ended up with very few remaining survivors left with Balerion's password lost somewhere. They are known for being tall, elegant with pale silvery-gold hair and luminous pale silvery, blue, or purple eyes. The family is rumored to be able to turn into huge Dragons, although this is typically rare for them to do so. THE BLACK DREAD THE HEIR or THE TRUE DRAGON THE BLACK DRAGON THE RED DRAGON THE SHE-DRAGON
 This family is known for being the large and strong bodyguards and bouncers. They own a security firm, and many of the family members are in fact fighters and use their big, powerful frames to their advantage. While they might not be the wealthiest, they certainly have a lot of happy costumers. The Voltantis family is larger than most, and very close. They have a very tight knit group, and they are allies with the Castamere Lions, the Arryn Falcons, the Bolton Ravens, the Oakmont Bears, and Tyrell Foxes [tentative]. Their looks are typically very dark haired with very pale eyes and very pale skin. They are very tall, muscular, and typically beautiful in a very odd way. THE TIGRESS THE HEIR THE GREAT TIGERS THE WHITE TIGER THE STRIPELESS TIGER
 The most kind and neutral of all the families. The Arryn family makes their money via the hospital. Doctors, nurses, researchers, the Arryn's are the most clean-cut and straight-forward family. Since they are mostly doctors, they are very wealthy, but it is not power they crave, but knowledge. The Arryn family has traditionally blue-black hair, slender bodies, and soft, glossy dark eyes. They are typically quite tanned, and usually quite short. THE BLUE FALCON THE LADY FALCON THE HEIR THE GRAY FALCON THE BLIND BIRD
 A family deep in the aches of sorrow. Their closest friends were destroyed, leaving them with little allies and an even shorter list of friends. The Bolton's are a very new family. They were a small line of very few when the two more powerful Raven Houses, Locke and Ryswell fought and completed annihilated one another. The Bolton family came in taking the few straggling survivors to each house and marrying them to the Bolton family line, creating one Raven House. They found a new way to create steel, while they named Spidersilk, and their company and steel has manufactured the entirety of Valyria. They are allies with the Voltantis Tigers and Buchanan Stags [tentative]. A true Bolton has very dark hair, either pale blue eyes or dark brown eyes, and are typically very tall and slender, with harsh faces, strong jawlines, high cheek bones, and long, narrow noses. THE RAVEN KING THE BLACK LADY THE HEIR THE WINGS
 This family has held on for a very long time. Coming to Valyria quite late, this family has not thrived. Their bloodline is not prominent, and their guard is few. They come from up North, and are as old as the Stark Wolves, yet they never stirred up trouble. The Oakmont family is a little one, made up of men and women who don't care for material things. They own the largest lumber company in Valyria, and create all of the paper and other wood-related things in this city. The Oakmont Bears are allied with Voltantis Tigers and Tyrell Foxes. The Oakmont family is known for their tall, strong builds with brown to black, wavy hair and square faces. They usually have either deep, chocolate brown eyes or deep emerald green eyes and tanned skin. THE GREAT BOAR THE SILENT SOW THE HEIR THE SHE-BEAR
 The Tyrell Family is relatively new to Valyria, but their blood line is old and strong. Their trade is farming and agriculture. They own most of the crop import to Valyria, and have great control over the FDA regions and restaurants within Valyria. The Tyrell family has been wealthy and powerful, although their political sway is much weaker than the higher families. They don't dabble in politics as much due to the views of their Head of the Family. They'd rather let everyone destroy themselves and then take the city for their own whenever is broken and destroyed. They typically have curly honeyed to blonde to chocolaty hair and light, luminous eyes of hazel and brown. THE OLD VIXEN THE HEIR THE YOUNG FOXES
 The Dornish are a collective group of families that are the wealthiest in the rivaling city of Sunspear. They are wealthy due to their trade of oil, spices, silks, and other products of more leisurely things than ones required by others. They have less strict rules in Sunspear, which involves that anyone from any house may marry anyone. The Dornish are made up of several families. Most notably the Martell family, but also including the Caden family, the Swann family, the Fowler family, the Nymeria family, and the Black family. Throughout history, many cultures have created their own mythologies and ideologies for humanities existence. All to answer the things we can't understand. Most of the ancient myths hold as much weight as a sack of feathers, and somehow within the fringes of society live those who fill those sacks with rocks instead. The phenomenon we can't explain, can't comprehend, can't imagine. Children call it magic. It's hard for humans to believe in it, and yet, it seems like some have been blessed. Sometimes things aren't meant to be understood, but instead nurtured and harnessed.
These magicians, witches, demigods - whatever you prefer, found each other. They were no longer afraid, no longer suppressing what was threatening to burst free. They believed it had to be a sign from the gods. That they were what remained of the gods' divine power, not quite demigods, but not quite human either. They learned all they could and imparted that wisdom and teachings of all others they encountered. They built a legacy of strength, power, and fame. And with all they built figuratively, they forever immortalized their legacy within their academy. Aptly named for the culture they believed had blessed them, their Academy is only for children who have magic and divinity in their blood.
Nestled within the quiet forests that sprawl out from the acres and acres of land is the famed Olympia Academy. Prestige. Honor. Fame. A boarding school that is the most selective with the students and a test said to be impossible to pass. However, before getting into the Academy itself, the school resides on private property that spans for stars knows how long. Rugged mountains serve as a backdrop, the tall white marble walls obscuring the other three sides of the property. Manicured green lawns, strong oaks, and infinitely many corridors within the Academy's huge walls, the tall pillars towering over the heads of the students and staff. It's aesthetic is intertwined firmly with the school's aesthetic of gold, white, and navy. Tall white walls covered in tapestries and paintings, the slick marble floors swirled with soft grays and charcoals. The most famous part of the Academy's aesthetic is the plethora of beautifully carved statues that stand in every hall, on shelves, and almost every open space within classrooms, dorms, and most prominently in the beautiful sculpture garden.
Along with classrooms and the usual dorms, all of which are stark white and ready for an individual to throw their own expression onto, the grounds boast a multitude of wonderful things to discover. The Great Hall is the most well known, of course, and is where the students and staff dine for at least breakfast and dinner, perhaps even lunch. It is lit with the watery and shifting light casting a soft and cool-toned light onto the marble pillars that hold up the ceiling several stories above your heads. The ceiling is painted beautifully with a scene of a summer sky with fluffy clouds, fairies floating with angels. Nymphs play in the water blue sky, the clouds so vividly painted it seems almost as if they truly are moving. And they might be. One could get lost staring up at the ceiling and forget to eat at the white circular tables. The Library resides underground and goes on forever. Books float on and off the shelves as if enchanted to circle the library. The librarian is a surprisingly young woman, although many think she is immortal since she seems to know everything. It is a long, wide, tunnel-like room with bookshelves upon bookshelves lining the two walls going along the length of the library. There is only one door in and out of the library, or is there?
For more fun things, there is the famous Sculpture Garden. Beyond the one incident that had everyone screaming 'Medusa!' for a solid year and a half, it is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places in the entire academy. Artfully designed to be a labyrinth of statues with flowers and vines twisting over some, others displayed in the sun during other times of day, and some to be viewed in the full moon, it is truly a spectacle for everyone all year.
Two legends circulate within Olympia Academy and are neither accepted or denied. The first is less sinister than the second and is frequently called Aphrodite's Grotto. Although the whereabouts are currently unknown, a crystal blue river leads out from the main campus towards the mountains and into the thick of the forests. Some speculate that several miles out, a path will open up to young lovers if their hearts are true, and it will lead them to this mythical cave. It is rumored to be only open at night and once there it is a half-cave filled with the clearest and purest water in the world. Soft greenery and beautiful flowers unfold to whisper secrets in the ears of these lovers, urging them to make their commitment official, to break down any walls between them. And if they do, their love can never be broken. Some even believe the waters can heal, bring fertility, and heighten powers. The second legend is heavily debated, especially by founders and professors. It is simply called the Darkened. Some students have speculated that since humans exist with humans, then certainly evil must exist with magic too? The legend that is breathed during sleepovers and to scare young students is that a girl student once went missing for a long period of time. Many believed her parents had come and somehow whisked her away, but the Founders made a discreet inquiry and found it not the case. It was until a student realized that there was a new statue in the Sculpture Garden with a hideously twisted face of terror and her signature big curls. Many believed it was Medusa, but that was never confirmed, so even now, it's just speculation. Needless to say, she is not still in the Sculpture Garden.

The Plot
However, there is a possibility for two other kinds of bigger, overarching plots. And others, I'm always open to creativity and ideas. The first is the Darkened. My thoughts on them are vague, but generally, they could be anything from perhaps monsters from mythology wreaking havoc [for example; Medusa] or perhaps just one of the graduates from Olympia Academy gone bad, or several of them. Which leads into another idea, which is perhaps a secret of some sort that the Founders are hiding. They're a mysterious group [perhaps even clique] themselves and they'd certainly have some secrets.
As far as the beginning of the role play, Olympia Academy always opens the beginning of year with two things. The first is huge and grand ball held at the autumnal solstice to break up the beginnings of classes and to have general celebrations. It lasts for four days and it is the craziest event of the year. It isn't just a ball and dancing, but it has several mini dances on each of the four nights while during the days the grounds are transformed into fun activities for all the students, all mainly set up by the Athenians. The second main event is a huge game of Capture the Flag, where all the cliques gather a team of the remaining students who aren't in the clique and split into two groups, usually girls vs. guys. It isn't officiated by any staff, except for the chosen clique leader who is the Captain of the team.

The Founders
Originally, there were seven. Now there are six. The Founders built the school, poured blood and sweat and tears into it. They know what the world was like without a safe place for people like them. Over time, they've expanded and been able to find more and more powers among the students. Although, now in the later stages of life, they each might need to start training a successor.

The Cliques
Even the elite have formed cliques. Grouped around common interests and named for the Greek gods their founders are so obsessed with, the cliques are ultra competitive with each other. As a brief overview here are the seven cliques, although not all characters have to be in a clique. The Athenians are the only female & male clique and they are the most popular clique. While the largest, they are definitely the most exclusive and reliant upon a hierarchy. The Hunters of Artemis is a group of pretentious, strong, independent women who need absolutely no man. Boys are seriously frowned upon. Cassandra's Daughters take in any girl in need. Any crazy, outcast, recluse or general geek fits within this clique. They are the counterpart to the Sons of Hades. The Furies are cruel and wicked girls who just want to be rebellious, cold, and drop the goody-two-shoes act. They are counterparts to the Wardogs. The Sons of Hades are the dark, sensitive boys, with dark sides and generally seem to fit nowhere. A ragtag group of nobodies. The counterpart to Cassandra's Daughters. The Wardogs are the wild, rebellious, crazy, and hilariously complicated gang of bad boys with hardly any moral compass. The counterpart to the Furies. Finally, Icarus's Flyers are the dreamers, creators, and innovative boys with general flightiness and optimism.

The Athenians
"sometimes you win. sometimes you learn."
A group formed from the birth of Olympia Academy. Named after the goddess, Athena, they keep the same ideologies as her. Intelligent, active, wise, bright, and the shining stars of Olympia Academy. They are the only male and female group of all seven cliques, and accept almost everyone into their group as long as they are intelligent, athletic, and complete bosses. You'll find no shy wallflowers or awkward movers here, but only graceful women and strong men. Outspoken, outgoing, and generally the friendly ones who talk to strangers and help old ladies. Although super competitive, they'll never into a fight they either know they can't win, or know isn't right. Their leader is called The Aegis after Athena's mythical shield. They are either an upperclassmen or a graduate/young teacher who guides and watches over the Athenians and is seen as an adviser.
The Athenians generally keep the school colors and wear the navy, gold, and white. However, they're symbol is an owl. All Athenian kids are marked by an owl symbol somewhere on their clothes, on a necklace, bracelet, or something similar. The upperclassmen and high ranking Athenians all have matching blue blazers with a distinct golden owl embroidered on the right side.
   The Hunters of Artemis"Who run the world? Girls."The very definition of Lady Bosses. They are not your typical young women, swooning over the latest boy band or swoopy haired hunk. Instead they are held together by the strict rules and values built into the foundation of the clique. The Hunters of Artemis certainly have the right name, named for the Greek virgin Goddess, Artemis, their group is built on the foundations the goddess is known for. The biggest and strictest rule they have is the forbidding of relationships [except for secret ones]. All the girls must strive for academic and athletic excellence to bring notoriety and greatness to the group as a whole. Typically attractive, intelligent, and athletic girls thrive under the guidelines of the Hunters. They're tight-knit, secretive, and selective. Intimidate is their main aim, and if you can handle the usual sass and iciness, then you might gain a loyal friend. They are led by a girl who is called the Huntress. She has two lieutenants called She-Wolves.
The Hunters of Artemis typically wear blue and silver, usually dresses or nice clothes. They main distinction is the silver charm bracelets they all wear with usually three charms. The first is the crescent moon, which is gained once you join the clique. The second is a quiver of arrows which is gained after your first successful year. The third and last one is after maintaining two years of greatness within the group and is a bow and this is the charm of a regular Hunter ranking. Their are two other charms that can be earned. The Huntress has a necklace that is a moon being shot with an arrow and each She-Wolf has a wolf charm.
✦✦✦   Cassandra's Daughters"I speak in verses, prophecies, and curses."Outcasts. Nobodies. Not tough enough to be Furies, not strong enough to be Hunters of Artemis, not cool enough to be Athenians. Cassandra's Daughters are a group of girls that are everywhere in between. It was started by a seer named Selene during her last year when she was cast out of the Hunters for being weak. So she created her own group for the girls on the fringes. Not all of them are outcasts, but Cassandra's Daughters take everyone who wants a place and group to be accepted. No judgement, no harm. Just like Cassandra in the myth, this clique is a safe place for anyone who feels outcast, lost without a voice. They typically are the weird, eccentric, crazy, loose, and softer group. Less tight knit and more drifters, but sometimes friend groups will evolve from within the group. Counterparts to the Sons of Hades
Cassandra's Daughters typically wear whatever they wish to follow personal style. But some girls like to take the white and gold and wear it. Their symbol is not widely known, but it is typically just an eye. It takes on all different forms, variations, and styles. Artists from every year change and make their own symbol to show off their clique. Seers and other mystical magic users do typically drift towards this group, given the name, but not always. They have no formal leader, just girls.
✦✦✦   The Furies"Rebels with a cause."Named after the the Erinyes, these girls are nothing to be messed with. Wicked, dark, and fiery young women. The Furies take no s--t from anyone or anything. They stick together, hip to hip, manicured nail to manicured claw. Witches with a B some say, but they're protective of their own in a different way than the Hunters of Artemis and definitely Cassandra's Daughters. You mess with one, you get all of them. A dark shadow will descend on you and anger will resonant from the center. They're bad most of the time, although while they get that reputation, they're not evil. Protective, wild, and they genuinely just want to have fun and break rules. They're not the quiet and docile girls. No wallflowers hide among the paint, instead just crazy and wicked fun and questionable morals. Counterparts to the Wardogs
The Furies do not abide by school colors and usually wear black and silver. They all have silver rings they wear on their dominant hand's middle finger with a symbol etched into it is a coiled whip. Unlike the stories of the actual Furies, they are usually attractive women who show off skin and are confident and competitive. They have no hierarchy, but rather they're just a coven of girls who love being the rebellious crowd.
   The Sons of Hades"You see? Death does have a heart."For many, the Sons of Hades are stereotyped as the shady, dark, and bad boys. However, much like the Greek god they are named after, the clique is anything but that. Okay, maybe they're a little dark. Mainly a group for outcasts, recluse, and quiet guys who keep to themselves. To say they look out for each other might be a bit of stretch, but they acknowledge each other. They're all friends, close enough, but odds are, they're loners. One thing has drawn them all together. They're all similar in one fundamental way. They are are not as they seem. What does that mean? They're reputation, they're stereotype is off from who they really are and that is truly what has brought this group of guys together. They can trust each other and be a judgement free and stereotype free place. Counterparts to Cassandra's Daughters.
The Sons of Hades generally follow no dress code and freely dress in their style, although mostly in dark colors, just the nature of the boys in the clique. They have no official symbol, although some boys like the Grim Reaper as their symbol, which some argue they should call Chiron. They even have a couple black dogs that slink around their quarters. They call all of the dogs Cerbs. Some have dog heads as the symbol, but otherwise, nothing really sets them apart. Other than the personality and psychological aspects of the general population within the clique. Counterpart to Cassandra's Daughters
✦✦✦   The Wardogs"Rage never hurts."Fighters. Ruffians. Barbarians. The group of "dogs" who all found a pack to be wolves together in. They're like a barbaric group of young men being encouraged to live out the wild side. They're constantly fighting, roughing each other up, being loud, and wild. Their name and group takes inspiration from Ares, the god that represented the bloody and untamed parts of war. While they aren't typically violent towards other students, they do tend to be rough, loud, and bold boys. And completely and utterly competitive. Loyal to each other, tight knit like an actual family, and driven to succeed in all aspects. The Wardogs are not led by anyone in specific, except by a professor who is recently new and a former Wardog who has been given the title Phobos.
The Wardogs have many symbols, such as flaming torch, dogs, spear, helmet, and vulture. The boys dress in red and black most of the time with little regard for the cool toned colors of the school's aesthetic. They rather wear their cool outfits with their symbols all over them. Most of them have jackets with THE WARDOGS written across the back. Their style is as bold as they are.
✦✦✦   Icarus's Flyers"First we feel. Then we fall."A home of creativity, philosophy, and youthful innocence. If they learned anything from the inspiration behind their name, it is to try to lack arrogance. Icarus's Flyers are named after the famous youth who flew too close to the sun and his wings melted. This group takes inspiration from both Icarus and Daedalus, being known for being creators and inventors. If you need a long, philosophical debate, one of these guys is your best bet. They're all generally a pretty sunny group with open arms for the artists and creators. Easy-going, go with the flow type of guys fit well with them, although self-doubt is often a theme for them. They want to make beautiful things, yet it never lives up to expectations. So they fly closer and closer to the sun, closer and closer to a potential burn out. The most well-liked of all the groups.
They would, of course, be symbolized by wings and the sun and the sea. Although a little ironic. They typically wear mostly gold, since it is a school color. They have no true hierarchy, except for upperclassmen help younger ones with problems and such. They're free and open, always up for most things and they usually wear sun necklaces on braided cords, have bright smiles, and painted stained hands.
I. Follow all forum rules. Should be pretty easy since it's what we do all the time right.II. Be literate/advanced, whatever you wanna call it. I expect pretty good paragraphs, proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. At least no one-liners and enough material to advance the plot with whoever you're role playing with.
III. Be pretty active. I'm in school this time of year, but I do expect activity whenever you can. Even if it's a quick hello to let us know you're still interested, but still busy. If you know you're busy and can't keep up, then this might not be for you, but I can't see this role play moving at the speed of light.
IV. LGBTQ characters are welcome! Everyone be respectful of that!
V. Please avoid making your character perfect in every way. Every character has powers, but most of them are young and unable to control/know them completely. Even when they do know their powers, they're limited. So no godmodding, powerplaying, and such.
VI. As far as posts go, also please keep it PG-13. This role play isn't the sweetest or most innocent role play, most likely, but please once, again follow forum rules and skip and keep gore and such to a minimum.
VII. When it comes to powers, I do have a list. If you want a power that isn't on that list you can put it! If I think it's okay, I'll let your character have it! If not, then, please pick something else. But get creative! And powers can be repeated by characters.
VIII. The characters have age ranges from about 18-24 when it comes to students. However, some of the characters from either the most recent graduates or something like that could be professors/leaders, and that age range is 25-28. The Founders are in their 60s and such, so age range isn't as important.

Long ago, during the longest night, the ancients came. Many believed them to be gods, powerful immortal creatures created with sharp teeth, glowing eyes, and an unnatural thirst for blood. That was, of course, long ago. Now, the worlds of the vampires and mundanes are molded so firmly together, it is hard to tell where one begins and one ends. Wrapped together, needing each other. How funny it is that powerful creatures need such fragile beings to survive. In this world, they work harmoniously, neither species fighting against the other, neither hating each other, neither wanting a war between them.

description; tall, willowy, and has an almost masculine quality to her that both of her other sisters lack. she most resembles that of her Aunt Lola in looks, except her liquid black eyes. a smoldering almond shape and framed by wispy black lashes, Myra's eyes are mostly framed by her thick and untamed dark brows. she's quite pretty in the face, natural with a soft splattering of freckles across her nose and cheeks and large, full lips. between the three triplets, Myra would describe herself as the most plain, and lacks the expression her sisters have. a perpetuate rbf Selene would say. Myra's face is round and lacks traditional definition of cheekbones or a strong jawline, but her nose is long and straight and angular for her face. her hair is dark, a few shades away from black and is definitely a nutty brown. although she did get highlights thrown through the top and bottom so it looks like it's been streaked by sun rays. it's falls just in line her bust, and it's thick and wavy and generally frizzy. she keeps threatening that one day she'll shave it all off, much to Selene's horror. most of the time it's pulled into a low pony or simple braid. Myra is athletic looking and slender, her skin warmed and bronzed by the sun, although it is naturally caramel toned. she cares little for her posture and tends to slump or sit with her legs wide and generally gives the body language that she hardly cares.

description; Rowena is quite the tall, lithe, slip of a girl that has hardly gained any muscle since she was about seven. she is the tallest triplet and the youngest as well, and from what her family says, looks identical a younger Gram Constance. her skin is lighter than that of her other fraternal sisters, still with the warm undertone, just lacking in the bronze that her sisters got. she has dark amber brown eyes that almost match the exact shade of light chocolate her hair is. almond shaped and tilted up at the corners, her eyes hold less of a smolder and more of a clueless innocence. framed by nearly nonexistence pale lashes and thinner, sculpted brows, they are more open. she has a rounded, slightly oval shaped face that lacks any defined cheek bones or hard jawline, although there is a faint hint of a cleft in her chin and she has a deep cupid's bow in her lips. speaking of those, her lips are pale pink and wide, the lower lip full and the upper lip less noticeable. she has a few freckles on her nose and lower cheeks, although they are hard to notice. Ro's hair is thin and she cuts it just below her collarbones normally so it doesn't look like limp chocolate spaghetti. it's color is light chocolate and waves at bit at the end, while being straight on top.

description; Leo is a fire that burns bright. He's tall and lanky, but not lacking in muscle. Strength coils in every inch of his toned body, hidden under soft pale skin, and freckles. He is 6'1", freckled, and handsome. His hair is perhaps his most distinctive feature, curly, but kept to a reasonable length so it doesn't hide his eyes, and fire-red. Ginger and crimson weave together, interlocking in a battle for dominance on the shiny locks. In some lights, the red crimson is more focused, darkening his curls as if soaked in rich blood. Other times, it can be described as soft ginger orange, lighter and paler than the deep crimson. But even so, it's what he's known for when being described. He has a handsome face, although he is not any extraordinary beauty, with high and slim cheekbones, a square jaw and chin, and wider nose that appears to have been broken several times. Oddly though, his face is devoid of freckles, although the rest of his body seems to be splattered and flecked with them all over, ranging in tones from light ginger to dark red-brown. Under thin gingery brows, are his almond shaped eyes. the color is blue-gray, pale and soft and a little murky. Not quite bright or piercing. but rather cheerful and expressive. with a smile that could light up a room, a usually relaxed stance to his muscular body, and generally cheerful disposition, Leo doesn't quite seem to fit the cliches of a broody head enforcer. He'll leave those attitudes to Rowan. Leo is as warm as his hair, and has an easy going smile, that brings peace to many of his packmates. Although, don't mistake his laid back and outgoing nature for weakness. He is fierce, loyal to a fault, and scrappy in battle. He's one of the finest fighters in wolf form, hence his role as head enforcer. Leo is honest, but when it comes to secrets, he's the best at keeping them. Anything said to him will say locked in his heart, and he believes the trust of his packmates is the only thing that should matter to him. How will they feel protected, if they don't trust him first? he's an extrovert, drawing energy and peace from being around people, specifically his packmates. without them, Leo would be lost.
while having red hair wouldn't necessarily mean his wolf form is red-hued, fate would dictate otherwise. His fur is not quite the same brilliant hue of his hair, it is more towards the auburn russet tones. hues of dark red twine in his undercoat, and some golden hues and creamy hints dominate the ends and accent him. The underneath of his muzzle and stomach is more golden red cream, and a faint stripe of darker reddish brown twines over his muzzle and up between his eyes and coloring his ears. His eyes are the exact hue of his eyes, a murky blue-gray that has no piercing brightness or distinctness. It's just soft blue surrounded by russet fur.

gideon sommers

somehow, gideon was born to a bunch of bakers, even though he was more suited to crunch numbers than spread sugar and flour. he's quite tall [ 6'2" ] and angular. handsome in a classical way with a strong jaw and cheekbones, a slight dip in his chin, and bold brows make him more suited for the business world than soft cakes. more comfortable in a suit than an apron, everything is usually in place with Gideon. his dark, golden-brown hair is slicked back usually, his light blue eyes used to squinting at a calculator. personality wise, gideon is quite charming, but not easy going. he is polite, but not friendly. he never cared for the family feud that heated so many of his relatives, but rather focused on what he deemed was important, like academics. Gideon is focused, determined, and doesn't give up easily. But just because those are his cardinal traits doesn't mean he isn't unfeeling or cares for nothing. On the contrary, he does have a bit of his family's fire and can be quite sweet, if he focuses on it.
- brief history & background - the sommers family bakery is well known within his hometown, but being the youngest of five, Gideon never learned any of the family recipes, or how to bake. he went to college and became a banker in the city instead, and has generally had an uneventful life outside of family. but oh my, his family, they're the crazy ones.
