(Hello! I’m looking forward to rping with everyone too, I’ve missed it a lot!

{ I am now somewhat available and would be down to rp some tonight as well if anybody would be interested. My available characters would be Duskbloom, Sunfur, Nettleshade, Oakstride, and Mooseberry.

I'm still floundering with all of this to some extent so I'm open to suggested interactions because I still feel like I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm sure it'll be fun. }

~Otternose~

Otternose paced in circles around the camp, chattering to herself, her paws restless for something to do. All the rain was starting to ease up but it was still unclear if it was now safe to go out, the storm had done a lot of damage around the territory and made some areas dangerous with flooding and debris (I don’t know if this is right and how big of a time skip we did, so someone correct me if I’m wrong lol). To keep her mind off things and to keep her spirits up she had chatted and talked a lot with her clanmates, though lately it seemed that they were trying to avoid her or that they had other things going on and we’re too busy to stay and chat. And now here she was, talking to herself and wishing she had some company. “I could ask Silvestar to put me on the next patrol, I’d love to be able to go out and stretch my paws, it would be good too to see what sort of damages the storm had done, maybe we could hunt too, the fresh kill pile is starting to get low, I wonder how the storm affected the prey, oh maybe it drove them out of…oof!” So focused in her own thoughts she hadn’t realized where she was walking and now she had just collided with another cat! Otternose shook her head to clear her thoughts and saw that it was Duskbloom that she had run into. “Oh I’m terribly sorry Duskbloom! I wasn’t paying attention to where I was walking, I didn’t mean to run into you.” She apologized, feeling a bit silly.

{ Oh I love her already! }

“O-Otternose! I’m the one who should be sorry, I wasn’t exactly paying attention either.” Duskbloom shook his head out gently and tried to put on a reasonably self-assured face, resisting the urge to lick down his chest fur. He looked around expectantly for a moment and then turned back to her, taking a small breath before he began again. “Um, who were you talking to? It’s just, I thought I heard you mention asking to join the next patrol and I was thinking of doing the same. Plus if you’re there I’m sure the hunting will be much easier, maybe I could even take a few pointers from you one of these days.” He winced as soon as the words came out of his mouth, regretting them immediately. Too much, mouse-brain, she’ll just think you’re useless if you say things like that. He laughed it off gently and looked back at her.

{ Venn Absolutely no worries fam, literally all of us have had times like that since the clan started so we totally get it. I would also love to continue our rp! I should point out though that I’m distracted as all hell these days so my responses may be sporadic lol.

@ everyone So umm I remembered last night that rp night was tonight and then I even woke up and saw Venn’s post and was going to reply and then…I don’t even know I think I set my phone down and then two seconds later I had forgotten about it completely and didn’t remember to check in here until about five minutes ago ((: so uhh..my bad?

tbf though I stayed up all night a couple days ago because I wanted to have a birthday where I was awake for the full 24 hours (for some reason? I don’t even know why?) which was a success but I’m paying for it lmaoo. }

~Otternose~

Otternose twitched her tail in excitement, glad that Duskbloom liked her idea and wanted to go out hunting with her. “Excellent! Hopefully the storm hasn’t disturbed the prey too much!” The she-cat paused for a moment to think of where might a good place to hunt right now be. It might be best to stay clear of any large streams or rivers at the moment, she’s had heard that they had flooded pretty bad and it might still be dangerous to go near them. She had always been pretty lucky when out on hunting patrols in the forest, and maybe the canopy of the trees had sheltered a lot of the undergrowth and the prey wasn’t too disturbed there. “How about we try the forest?” Otternose suggested, beginning to lightly trot towards the cave entrance. “I’ve got a few good spots there that tend to be good for hunting!”

(How fun ѕρσσкуѕку! That’s a fun way to spend a weekend! I’d love to go back to Disneyland at some point, I haven’t been since I was a smol child haha.)

(OH its totally fine ѕρσσкуѕку, I thought about rping yesterday and got spooked lmao

We were thinking about doing rp day every Wednesday? Just whenever anyone can come on when they have time that day ya know, we'll keep it as low pressure as possible!

I'd love to rp!! I think I have most of my cats open. I'd like to try out Snowdrop with someone maybe and then another cat of mine? It's been so long I can hardly remember the plots we had going lmao)

{ Hey, no worries! I have been super inactive myself (obviously lol) and haven’t really been keeping in touch with anyone outside of my close family for the past few months. :/

As for our rp, it may seem ironic given how long it’s been since we were both actively rping but genuinely take your time. I’ll try to remember to use a different device to check in here if my phone isn’t working next time I try. ^.^ }
