*Spottedpelt* Oh my gosh I hadn't even realized it had been that long??? Time sure does fly when every day is basically the same heh :/ } Foxflight noticed Flinttail shake out his pelt and did the same, trying to avoid spraying the other tom in the process. He licked a paw and drew it over his ear where the fur was stuck in an annoying place. The ginger warrior was so caught up in the excitement of the run and his breath heaving in his lungs that he almost entirely forgot about why they had been running in the first place until Flinttail spoke. " Yeah, we did!" he replied, smiling widely at the tom. " That was close, though," he admitted, his heart lurching at the idea of either of them meeting their end at the claws of such a terrifying creature. He imagined Flinttail felt much the same about that thought. " You okay?" he asked, hoping his companion wasn't too freaked out by the experience. (Here ya go ѕρσσкуѕку! I know right!) ~Flinttail~Flinttail stood there for a moment in silence trying to regain his breath. He had to admit he was pretty ruffled by the incident, an eagle was certainly not one to mess with and they were lucky to have escaped from it's sharp talons. But the small tom also felt excitement and pride flow through him, it had been exhilarating thundering across the open ground with Foxflight at his side, each keeping pace with each other as they kept out of reach of the eagle. "Yeah," he said finally with a nod and looking up at Foxflight with a smile. "Yeah I'm alright. Are you alight?" He sat back onto his haunches, his breath slowly coming back to him. He could tell through Foxflight's wide smile that his friend was also feeling some excitement, he let out a small mrrow of laughter at the whole situation. Now that they were out of harm's way he began to relax and ease up a bit. |

{ Sorry for the delay, I've had super minimal internet acces the last two days.
I'm doing okay lol I'm a bit overwhelmed by all of my animals atm cause I just got back from a vacation (my first one since March!!) and they're all SUPER clingy and needy.

(No worries! That's exciting, I hope it was a nice vacation! We, I can imagine they were pretty excited when you got home then haha.
I'm alright, my seasonal job ended last week so I be just been relaxing and sleeping for the most part this week haha.)

{ It certainly was lol. I got to spend the week with my grandma at her condo timeshare up in Tahoe, doing puzzles, eating junk food, and watching horror movies. We literally only went outside once during the whole trip. It was great.
Nice haha well that's a good way to chill after having worked for a while!
Also I'll probably reply to our rp tonight btw ^.^ }

Then today was just about relaxing and not dealing with things to feel better from yesterday so here we are lol. I'm sorry to hear about that sore throat, Bun! I'm sure it's no big deal, I've had a few sore throat days since covid started and it's turned out to be allergies or dehydration every time so there's always a simple possible explanation. He nodded, breath slowly returning to normal as he spoke. " I'm okay," he replied with a small smile. A small laugh escaped him after his friend's own. This must be why his sisters enjoyed adventures so much. The feeling of exhilaration was hard to deny. And he also realized why they enjoyed going together. He would be feeling very different right now if he had been alone. He would have been shaken, terrified. But being there with Flinttail, he smiled and laughed. Why hadn't he tried to make friends sooner? He almost wished he and the dark-furred tom had been close all their lives, so they could have been enjoying each other's company all along, but he realized that if that were so, they wouldn't have the memories they had made these last seasons. And he wouldn't trade them for anything. |

i will read up on what i missed in a moment. A month flies by pretty fast when life is shitty hey? lolololanyway i'm back! c: sorry for being gone for so long my friends. to by quite honest, i ended up moving out of my family house, my family basically kinda fell apart and im kinda on my own. life is super weird and that's all I can really feel comfortable explaining. I will join the discord server within a couple days here, but i hope with what i've already said that it's understandable why i have been gone. honestly im super sorry that my disappearance lasted so long, and that activity suffered pretty badly for it. Still. thank you guys for trying to carry on, especially you, ѕρσσкуѕку ^-^ very sorry you celebrated halloween alone, i had a halloween party for my nephew and it was just weird, covid-infringed halloween was weird hahaI have finally set up my computer tonight after moving, so I am now feeling alright to post again. In fact, you were the one person I wasn't concerned to not be hearing from because you gave us fair warning that you'd be away and I could tell that whatever you were dealing with irl was serious. Personally I'm not upset or bothered or frustrated or anything by your absence—like I said, I knew you were away for an important reason and you said you would be offline. Second, I'm so sorry to hear things with your family are so difficult, especially when everything else in the world is so crazy already. That must be incredibly hard to deal with. My heart goes out to you. ( which is actually kind of a weird thing to say when you think about it, but the sentiment is there) Let me know if you need to vent to someone or anything at any point. I'm always here to help how I can, but no pressure. I completely respect your need for privacy in certain personal matters. It was pretty weird when no one was here for so long, and ngl I felt like I was losing my sanity for a hot minute there when literally no one responded for days lol, but I kept posting because I knew people would come back sooner or later and didn't want to just leave the page dead until then. yess!!! so good to see you too spotted!!! thank you for that my friend, that one incident was unrelated to the issues that lead to where i am now, but let's just say there was a series of ......... unfortunate events hahahahaha forreal tho. I honestly didn't imagine 2020 would end up being the year this type of thing happens to me/my family. but thank you for your concern. Maybe i'll message you one day about it. I personally just don't feel comfortable sharing it on a public platform. Olivepool nodded in agreement. The trees did provide excellent shelter, not only from weather but dangerous animals as well. She briefly wondered if she could ever live in a tree before reminding herself there would never be a need for that. The cave was her home, and she would never need to think about finding a den like Hiro did. She was somewhat surprised by his comment, turning to glance at her fur as she hadn’t felt anything there. “ Oops,” she meowed, tail flicking once at the observation. “ Yeah, if you wouldn’t mind!” she replied with a smile, turning so that the mussed side of her fur was facing him. It seemed natural to her that they could be this comfortable together, helping each other with dirty pelts and sheltering together from the storm. Most of her clanmates would probably call her crazy for trusting a loner so much, but she had a sneaking suspicion there were several cats back home who would understand her unconventional relationship with the tom. Flamepaw was deep in thought, eyes staring past what was before him and into a space that couldn’t really be seen. Images flashed by of what he imagined was his mother facing various dangers that forced her away from her five mewling kits. That’s where his mind had been when the reverie was interrupted by a familiar voice. One of his clanmates, his brain supplied as the world came back into focus. Ripplepaw, he identified when he saw the blue merle pelt. “ Of course,” he politely replied, feeling simultaneously grateful for the company and uncomfortable at the pair of eyes on him. “ Everyone seems to be excited for the new kits,” he mewed, trying to strike up conversation. " No, of course not," she replied in an overly casual voice, but the glint in her eyes made it clear she wasn't going to let this go so quickly. The she-cat took a moment to shake out her wet pelt, only noticing a moment too late that she was close enough to Ghostlight to spray him too. But when she looked over, she saw that he had already taken off, not giving her a chance to prepare before his suggested race. " Hey!" she mewed indignantly, before bounding down the slope after him. She would have to be careful not to repeat the tom's fall, and was pretty impressed he was willing to risk another tumble so soon after his first. He must be one of the most chill warriors in the clan, she mused, feeling her respect for him grow. { I believe this was the last one ^.^ } |

And here's this reply. ^.^ } Bluepaw found a pace somewhere between careful and reckless to traverse the slope, coming to rest at the bottom not too long after her companion. As she and her breathing both slowed, she remembered the tom's strange reaction to her choice of destination back at camp. She had decided to wait to bring it up, having learned from her mentor to choose her timing carefully. Was now the right time to ask? She didn't know, but she was losing her determination to be patient. She might as well say something now. " So," she mewed to break the silence, breathing almost normally now since she didn't push herself too hard on the hill. " Is there something wrong with the blossom tree?" she asked in a nonchalant tone, not wanting to seem as interested as she truly was. { This was actually the last reply! } As Bluepaw reached the bottom of the hill, the dark tom started towards the blossom tree again but only to be stopped in his tracks when he heard what the apprentice had asked. He couldn't help but start to feel a burning sensation in his ears and he could hear the drum of his heart beat, he took a deep breath and turned towards the she cat. "No there's nothing wrong with the blossom tree..." He paused, avoiding her gaze taking notice of where the sun was in the sky as he was trying to figure out how he should tell the young one. "It's just that uhh... that's where cats go when umm..." He paused again, embarrassment clearly written all over his face. " When they confess their love to someone and become mates." His tone was hesitant as he emphasised on the words confess, love and mates. Only then did he bring his gaze back to the apprentice wondering what her reaction would be like. |
