Foxflight noticed Flinttail shake out his pelt and did the same, trying to avoid spraying the other tom in the process. He licked a paw and drew it over his ear where the fur was stuck in an annoying place. The ginger warrior was so caught up in the excitement of the run and his breath heaving in his lungs that he almost entirely forgot about why they had been running in the first place until Flinttail spoke. "Yeah, we did!" he replied, smiling widely at the tom. "That was close, though," he admitted, his heart lurching at the idea of either of them meeting their end at the claws of such a terrifying creature. He imagined Flinttail felt much the same about that thought. "You okay?" he asked, hoping his companion wasn't too freaked out by the experience.

btw ♡ Bun ♡  yeahh I couldn't remember exactly what was going on with the CloverAzureSunny love triangle but I was operating under the assumption that he (and most of the clan) would know he's not the father? 🤔 I know we talked about this a few months ago, I'm just blanking. If I'm wrong, then just ignore the parts in my previous posts that were like "oh why does she want azurefall??" lol. But obviously, feel free to weigh in on it. Maybe she knows he's not the father and just wants him to be a father figure to them anyway since Equinox won't be.
also, if you want to move things along, should we have the last 2 kits be born in just one post? xD
and about rose, I agree it's probably best to just wait for Fi to give explicit permission. I'd love to have her and the other former members back but I don't want to push it since we are technically closed lol.

      If he weren't more of a professional, Cloudfeather may have been more touched at the sheer love expressed in Sunnydawn's bright amber eyes as she gazed down at her kit, who was already wriggling around against the curve of her belly. As it was, he did feel a heartwarming sensation watching the new mother bond with her newborn, but he ignored it for the sake of the task at hand - that being ensuring the safe and smooth delivery of the rest of her litter. By the paw on her stomach, he could tell that there were at least two more, sans the one currently coming, on the way.
      "That's the way, just keep pushing!" the pale silver tom encouraged her as best he could, even though Sunnydawn clearly already knew to do that. He didn't want to give her false hope that it was almost over - with two more kits on the way, it was still too soon to tell. As the second kit came, he leaned down and repeated the process of opening the kit sac and licking the kit vigorously, allowing it to take its first desperate breath. Once he could see the little one was getting some air, he nuzzled it against the comfort of Sunnydawn's belly, joining its older sibling. "Just two more left," he said, returning his attention to the struggling queen. He could see she was tired, but she had to endure the pain just a little while longer!


      Firelight hurriedly followed after Sorrelnose, curious as to where the tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat was leading him. Honestly, he had no idea where in StarClan's name they might be going - what was there to see that looked nicer in pouring rain? - but he didn't question it. Judging by the way the other warrior carried herself, it seemed like she had a clear destination in mind already. Carefully maneuvering through the narrow ledge that made up the only entrance - and exit - to the well-protected camp, knowing that a poorly-considered step could lead to a dangerous fall, he could hear the sound of the roaring waterfall as they walked past. The never-ending racket of the rushing rapids never failed to remind him of home.
      Rather than going in the direction of the forest as he would have expected her to, Firelight was surprised as he padded after Sorrelnose while she walked underneath the rocks that protected camp. What...? There was nothing there. At least, that's what he thought, until he came closer and saw that she had entered a small nook carefully constructed by the rocks around the area, which completely kept it dry from the rain. This was definitely not something he'd ever really looked closely at before. Settling in next to her, he sat down and looked around at the view offered by the little cranny, surprised to find it offered a lovely view of the lower mountain slopes and the verdant forest nearby. "Wow, I didn't know there was a place like this so close to camp," he admitted quietly. "It's beautiful. Thanks for showing it to me." Despite his usual fake bravado, Firelight was surprised to find that what he had just said was truly genuine. Despite the darkened sky - not a particularly welcome sight considering it was still fairly early in the day - and the heavy rain, the sight of the territory below them was astonishing. It reminded him not to take for granted what blessings StarClan had given them with this bountiful land.

{ Ðᴏʟᴄᴇ Yeah I think that's what I'll do. Cause like you said I'd love to have her rejoin, but we would def need Fire's permission while we're closed. And don't worry about short rps or ones you're not 100% happy with. I feel like sometimes it's more important to just get something out there, you know? And hey, it's not like we're going for a newberry award or anything XD }

{ Btw guys I posted my forms for Sunny's two other kits (one male, one female for your rp info Ðᴏʟᴄᴇ) on the joining page. I'm just now realizing most of you probably don't have it in your recent threads so I should say something here. As of now they're slated for early deaths but while Bun and I figured their details out in pm she mentioned the possibility of having them live longer. Obv if that becomes the case I'll edit the forms cause they're currently written for plan A. Just throwing that out there.
