I've been doing well, coping through pandemic I moved back home after my lease ended and it's nice to have my family and pets around me again, instead of being stuck in an apartment alone lmao, but I am still getting used to having classes solely be online (unironically, one of my classes has a Discord server lol). My mom is a teacher though, and her school is fully in-person (i-idk why...) so I am a bit concerned that she might get sick buuuut, knock on wood, so far so good on that front...
I did see the announcement about Rune Factory 5 a few weeks ago and idk about you but I am h Y P E D! Also I've been playing a lot of Genshin Impact, which is all everyone's talking about in my social circles these days. Do you play? :0 if so, add me!

Also, just reread the posts I was replying to and saw "the bossy voice of Cloudfeather" LOL where is the lie. Umm, usual disclaimer tho, it's been awhile since I've read my last posts here + haven't rped Warriors in a hot minute, so some of my replies might come off as a bit awkward. Also, not sure if Bun is still active but I wanted to get the kitting going!

      Cloudfeather hurried to press himself against Sunnydawn's side, doing his best to support her as she struggled to the nursery. He felt a twinge of guilt for forcing her to move in her current state; it was obviously exerting her quite a bit, but he knew it would pay off in the long run. She'd be more comfortable in a soft nest in the nursery rather than having her kitting in the middle of camp, where everyone with too much time on their paws from being stuck in camp - thanks to the uncooperative weather - could observe. As they maneuvered their way into the nursery slowly but surely, he led her to her nest and did his best to lie her down as gently as possible. At her request to summon Azurefall, his good eye narrowed somewhat, but who was he to deny a kitting queen from what she wanted? Still, the tom didn't want to leave her side for too long. He'd make it quick. Giving her an abrupt nod just to indicate he'd heard her, he returned to the entrance of the nursery and quickly looked around camp. The last time he saw the blue-gray warrior in question was... yep, there he was in camp, cozying up to Cloverrose.
     It did occur to Cloudfeather what an odd request it was to summon Azurefall to see Sunnydawn. Was he the father of this upcoming litter? It was always the queen's decision to reveal such private information to her clanmates and, far as Cloudfeather knew, Sunnydawn hadn't told anyone about the heritage of her unborn kits. He'd never pried since it was certainly not his business, but he also had never noticed her growing particularly close to any of the toms in the clan... and Azurefall seemed more focused on the cream tabby he was with rather than the queen whose kits were coming right this moment. Speaking of which, he should probably stop psychoanalyzing their relationship and just call Azurefall over, like Sunnydawn had asked of him, lest the kits come while he was distracted. She had said to keep it discreet, but how should he go about doing so? Even if he snuck up to Azurefall and whispered to the tom to come along, surely some of the cats in camp - certainly Cloverrose - would notice them going into the nursery together. Eh, being discreet was not in the cards for today, Cloudfeather decided, as he called out from the nursery entrance: "Azurefall! Can you come here for a moment? Sunnydawn wants to see you!" He made sure to speak as loud as he had to so that the tom in question would hear over the bustle of other side conversations going on. Anyway, he'd just apologize to Sunnydawn later if she didn't like his summoning methods, if she wasn't too exhausted from the exertion of giving birth that is. 
     Turning his full attention back to the queen now that he'd done as she asked, Cloudfeather could see that her contractions were coming faster now. The first of her litter would be arriving at any given moment. Hurrying back to her side, he pressed a paw gently to her flank. "The first kit is coming, start pushing!" he advised her, not sure if she would actually absorb what he was saying considering the pain she was probably in.

Yes, I believe I was the last to reply to Fire/Sorrel. Bun hasn't been super active in the past month or so but I can let her know you're here and maybe she'll pop in if she's able.

As for feeling disconnected from your characters, my best advice would be to try filling out an oc questionnaire kind of thing? Obviously with them being cats not all of the questions will apply but it's something that helps me connect with my ocs from time to time.

( Hey I'm on! Wait sunnydawn is kitting? Just woke up so my brain isn't fully working just yet. I'll be on all day! )

As the tom raised his head from the waterlogged ground, stinging pain shot through his face. Pushing up with his front paws, he fully sat up; shaking his head. He looked at Bluepaw who was giggling at his fumble, he frowned. "Yeah... I'm okay." his pain carried on his voice. A small wave of embarrassment washed over him, he gave his chest a few licks before shaking the water that now soaked his fur off. He rose to his paws and continued to walk, as he passed Bluepaw he meowed in a hushed tone. "That didn't happen." His tone now a bit more playfully. They only just broke through the cover of the trees, and were standing on the lush green grass of the valley. You could see the blossom tree from the highest of hills, but they still had a ways to go. "lets continue, we still got a ways to go." He meowed, giving the she cat a mischievous smirk before stating. "Last one down is a pile of fox-dung!" He giggled before bolting down the slippery slope.

rip haha. Also I do think this is Cloudfeather's first time delivering kits on his own... maybe... haha... not sure since we've done them mostly off-screen but bear with me.

      "I would love to share some food," Cloverrose purred gratefully in response to Azurefall's offer, her stomach quietly rumbling to remind her she hadn't eaten yet today. This was truly the life - some well-deserved r&r with her close friend to offer her company... at least, that was what she was thinking until the shrill wail of a queen in pain interrupted her thoughts. Suddenly more alert than before, when she'd blissfully been on the precipice of falling asleep versus staying awake, the cream warrior sat up onto her haunches and glanced in the direction the noise had come from, seeing Sunnydawn had collapsed in camp. Her instincts told her to offer the suffering queen aid somehow, but she knew that Cloudfeather - who had already rushed over to help the expectant queen to the nursery - would be far better-suited to such a task. StarClan, how Cloverrose hadn't noticed that her friend was so close to having her kitting was beyond her. She felt kind of bad about that - she'd just have to pay a visit to the nursery later, when Sunnydawn had fully recovered from the whole ordeal!
      "Looks like we'll have some new kits soon, if all goes well!" she mewed excitedly to her handsome companion, ears twitching with excitement. She always liked having little ones running around camp, causing mischief. Besides, Fawnleap's litter would no doubt be excited to have new playmates on the horizon. However, Cloverrose was admittedly quite shocked when Cloudfeather reappeared at the entrance of the cave that made up the nursery, calling for Azurefall. It just seemed out of the blue for the medicine cat to be requesting anyone to come in when Azurefall was neither trained in the ways of delivering kits, like the medicine cats, nor was he the father. She had expected Cloudfeather to not want anyone inside while the kitting was going on. Still, not wanting to hold Azurefall up if he was planning on going - which she'd entirely leave up to him, not wanting to influence his decision either way - Cloverrose glanced at the blue-gray tom. "I guess they need you in there," she pointed out, wondering if he knew why he was being called over or if he was just as clueless as her.


      Cloudfeather felt sympathetic for the poor she-cat as he watched her struggle. Sunnydawn's body was clearly under a lot of stress trying to bring new life into the world. It was an experience that almost every kitting she-cat had to go through, but that never made bearing witness to it any easier. He knew that in the past, his mentors would sometimes offer a stick or... or something to that effect, for the kitting queen to bite down on to distract them from the pain, but there were none nearby to be found. Besides, he was working alone at the moment to help deliver her kits, for the first time if he was remembering right, and couldn't be bothered to leave just to find a stick for her. Usually Quailfoot or Violetdawn would be supervising him, but now that he was a full-fledged medicine cat, he had to be capable of doing things like this on his own. Just thinking about that made him feel a pinprick of nervousness, but he quashed it down; he didn't want Sunnydawn to notice that he was feeling apprehensive - imagine putting her life and that of her unborn kits into his paws, only to find out that he was feeling even slightly unsure of himself. He could only imagine how she would react if she knew!
      Finally, Cloudfeather could see that Sunnydawn's efforts were bearing fruit! He felt bad turning away from her, but he had to check on the newborn kit. Leaning down, he nipped at the sac the newborn was protected in, allowing oxygen to flow freely to its lungs. He then immediately set to work on licking the little one clean, his movements stirring it into breathing on its own. When the kit took a long, gasping breath of air, he nudged it to Sunnydawn's side and addressed the queen once more. "Congratulations, you have a healthy she-kit," he purred before pressing a paw gently against her belly again. He could still feel convulsions, so there were more to come. "Keep pushing, though, you've still got more on the way!"

Ðᴏʟᴄᴇ I'm glad you got some use out of that haha I had fun reading back through those parts of the books when doing the research. It's fun to try and tie in the way things are done there I think. Also same?? Like who has kits? Who's pregnant? Who even knows?? lol maybe I'll look back through some of our old conversations about it when I have the chance.

Emberpaw was grateful that the other she-cat didn't push, but hoped she hadn't sounded too dismissive or anything. She was relieved that, judging by the tone of Cherrypaw's next statement, that didn't seem to be the case. There was a pause, a moment of silence. Should she say something? No, it seemed like the apprentice was thinking--she didn't want to interrupt if that were so. Luckily, she didn't have to wait in the conversation void for much longer. "No worries," she mewed. The suggestion took her a bit off-guard. Had any of the other apprentices asked to share food with her before? She was certain she would remember if they had. "Yeah!," she replied, trying not to sound too excited. "That sounds nice." She got to her paws, glancing over at the fresh-kill pile. Sharing would be a good idea for the clan's sake, she realized, as with the heavy downpour outside, it didn't seem likely they'd have extra food for a little while.

With the pain of the first kit gone, she laid her head down with a quiet thud on the moss nest; taking a quick breather. Enjoying the quick relief she had before she was to go through it again. She couldn't understand how other she cat's could have multiple litters, this was the most excruciating pain she had ever felt and she never wanted to go through it again; once is enough for her. When she felt Cloudfeather turn away from her for a moment, she wasn't even the slightest bit worried as she knew he would take good care of her and the newly born kit; so she let the medicine cat do his thing. Sunnydawn had spaced out from the relief of the pain, only too be brought back when she felt a warm little body next to her belly. It was almost like a fire exploded inside of her, and her heart felt like it was going to burst out of her chest. She quickly raised her head to see her little girl, nuzzling. She broke out into a purr and brought her gaze to the white tom's when he spoke. "Thank you." she purred, and stared at the little life wiggling besides her belly. Although her purring abruptly stop when she felt more pain strick her, she grunt at tom's words, "No kidding." she joked, laughing through the pain. She gritted her teeth once more as the pain kept getting worse and worse. Okay here we go again. She thought, before pushing once again with all her might. Breathing heavily, it had almost seemed like she had been defeated; She sighed with relief once it was over. Wondering what this little life would look like, though she had no energy to peek at the little one.

But dolce you are correct, I wanted two of the kits to die shortly after birth so there's only two. }
