Lol spotted, glad you like him. XD I haven't rped a flirty character in awhile either - if ever?? honestly can't remember if I have - so I really apologize if he's coming across as forward and/or creepy. If he does, just lemme know and I'll tone it down!
Also hi Fi!! Good to see you. :3 I mean honestly, I wouldn't complain if you decided to scrap some/most(?) of your characters. I might be a little disappointed if they were close with my characters but I won't complain. Also yes!! I joined AetherClan after graduating high school and now I've graduated college 3.5 years later! Time sure flies  I know our activity has fluctuated a lot these past 3 years but I am very thankful to have been, and still be, a part of the Aetherfam community. ^_^ ]Firelight with Sorrelnose Seeing annoyance - even mixed with amusement - in Sorrelnose's expression caused Firelight's heart to sink and his confidence to drop. Rejected already!? Mouse-dung. He mentally prepared himself for some harsh dismissal; he knew from past experience that some she-cats in the clan just did not appreciate his compliments - always genuine, mind you - and he was usually careful to avoid those types but perhaps this time he had allowed himself to get too cocky. Instead of the rejection he was expecting, though, the tom was pleasantly surprised by the playful tone Sorrelnose had taken on instead. Not exactly a win, but not exactly a loss either. He'd take it! "Of course! I would never allow a lovely she-cat such as yourself to die from cold of all things," he said with a serious nod and a proud puff of his chest. "You can count on me! I'll protect you with all I've got!" A bit over-exaggerated and just a tad too dramatic, but that was the kind of tom Firelight was. If it was in the name of impressing a she-cat, he had very little shame. As if only now realizing how silly he sounded, he hastily added on, "Not that you need protection of course, but you can rely on me if you need it."

Same here actually. I wouldn't want to delete characters that have relationships with other characters but it's so hard for me to write them, I think.. or something. Honestly idk. I really think it's because I'm trying to emulate how I would write years ago and I'm just not the same writer xD not the same vibes.. idk. I would like to start a conversation on this tbh because it would be very beneficial for me. Would the solution be to swap characters out and change them up? Honestly I don't know.  Also yes!!! I might be missing some but those seem to be your core ones. If you wanted to revamp or scrap any of the others I don’t think it would be much of a problem in terms of plots or relationships. } |

{ I would also recommend to anyone feeling disconnected from their characters to look up a list of oc questions and try to answer them for each of yours. It’s a great way to get to know your own characters and connect with them. }

I think that is probably best for now tbh? I dont wanna ruin relationships. And any of my plots because I still feel incredibly connected to them after all these years lol (and wanna see them happen!!!) But would you guys be alright if these characters don't... idk... feel the same way they used to? Part of why rp can be hard for me is because of the loss in connection in a way. It's sort of hard to describe this blockage. Core personality traits will stay but I think I need flexibility in a certain way.. word garbage I just wrote I know 😅😹]

I vibe with that fi. Though for me, it's more like when I reread my old character forms, I don't really know what I was going with there or what I had planned for their character arc (if I had anything planned at all). And rereading my old rp posts does not help because I don't like my old writing  Like especially Cardinalsong, who has been around since I first joined the clan, I just cannot get into a good mindset for her xD I think it would be best at this point for me to just say she died off-screen at some point from illness? She did always have a frail constitution after all.
I have no objections to you scrapping or revising any of your characters! And yes, feel free to change their relationships or the plots they were in as you see fit. I'll give my input if I have any on changes you make but otherwise go off.

LMAO and old character posts don't do me and help either because of aforementioned "what was i thinking???????????????" edit> dimitri is the best and i'm so glad i chose noodle head before he was evil xD it just adds to the experience. the status was me kinda just thinking about how i have this friend who (when we talk fire emblem) always talks Dimitri with me and sort acts like I am obsessed with him???????? i love him but i mostly just wish he had an s support with male byleth because i felt robbed not choosing female byleth dang it he still says the things he does to her!!! its not fair!!!I think i'll keep all my characters for now but I will go through them in a bit and say what will go~ I will rp soon. ] |

Undeterred was her spirit and he was grateful for it as he wasn’t sure if he had explained well. Soon he continued with springing to the tree and clinging to it with his claws. He turned his head back to look to his warrior companion. “Think you could join me up here?” The loner asked from a fox length above. Hope glinting in his eye as he requested such. His plan was to get her adjusted to simply clinging to the tree first. “The branches above are quite high so we won’t be climbing very comfortably,” He spoke again, looking up the bark trail that led to the branches near his den. “We’ll have to make a break for it.” Determination edged his voice and his tail flicked back and forth with anticipation. He was determined to get Olivepool up there, and help her every step of the way too.

{ noble. I’m sorry to hear about your job, but it’s not surprising. So many people are being laid off right now. :/ I hope you find another one quickly when all this is back to normal! As for rp, I’ve actually deleted both Dewpaw and Blacksquirrel. Probably should have mentioned that the list on the main page is seriously out of date oops! Also if I’m not mistaken, isn’t Milkpaw a warrior now? I believe most (if not all) apprentices aged up after that long time skip we did a while back. I’d be totally up for rping with her though! Based on her personality, I think it would be interesting to have her interact with Sootnose, Blackpaw, or Thornpaw. Soot is a pretty normal guy just trying to feel like he’s worth something to the clan, Black is playful and outgoing but gentle once you get to know him, and Thorn is cautious but secretly sweet and dedicated. } |

I've also been wanting to work on the coding and tried to touch it when I felt motivated over the past months. Little progress bc school. However i am almost done school!! And Ebbepaw with Blackpaw or Thornpaw or Hollypaw might be fun, I was looking for characters that would clash a bit with Ebbepaw. I want to explore how she handles tension and being defensive. I guess a frenemy! You can ultimately decide which one might be best for that :—)
And Milkweed and Icestep would also be interesting considering they both shut their clan mates out due to the inner turmoil of emotions inside them :—-) |

The small silver tabby stared absently into the dimly lit space, the all too familiar silence of early morning greeting her. Dewstripe had practically dragged herself into her nest long after the sun had crawled behind the horizon. Like many nights before, her limbs had screamed with exhaustion, relaxing gratefully after she climbed into her nest. However, her restless heart heard none of it and continued to threaten to beat right out of her chest all night long, provoking very vivid dreams that had kept her up most of the night. But alas, she had at least gotten some sleep, something she was very grateful for.
Dewstripes took a few more moments of peace before deciding that she needed to make movement, the sweet smell of newly arrived new-leaf coaxing her from her nest. Tail lifted high to ensure that it wouldn't brush against any of her companions she quietly navigated her way through the maze of sleeping bodies and nests, each step followed by the cast of a reassuring gaze over her shoulder to reassure herself that she had not disturbed any of their sleeping souls. She paused at the entrance of the warriors den and surveyed the camp. Dawn was just beginning to creep in the sky and there was a very peaceful stillness to the morning. She always did enjoy the early hours of the day and the stillness it provided. It was in those moments that her heart seemed to be in tune with the rest of the world and beat softly inside her chest.
The she-cat sauntered a few lengths away and sat there under the brightening sky until the warm light of dawn bleed across the ground. She watched as cats began to chase their fantasies away and awake to the cold of morning. Dewstripe couldn’t help but imagine what lives they had lived in their sweet slumber. Did they dream of what the wind would feel like pushing through their fur? Maybe perhaps a night full of chasing hares over golden rolling hills splotched with wildflowers, their pungent fragrance clinging to their fur and lingering just a few moments longer as they pushed sleep from their eyes. Or maybe, just maybe, they curled into the warmth of another… enveloped with nothing but reassurance that everything was alright. She could only sit there pondering and praying to the stars above that their nights were full of sweetly fabricated tales. Dewstripe knew more than anyone that there would be fewer of those sweet times with the coming days, there always was.
Shaking her head she refocused on her companions. Her heart lifted as they stretched, some taking notice of the cold morning, others awaking with more energy. New-leaf always awakened energy inside everyone that had been buried deep by bare-leaf. Maybe now things would actually get done in a decent and timely manner. She always thought that her companions’ paws were a little more idle than she preferred. Dewstripe could accept and reason with a lazy morning - however, that didn’t mean that she approved of them. Sluggish mornings were not for those with the faint of heart. Now that the land was beginning to bleed red and flourish green the work to be done was building. Hopefully, the duties would be carried out without complaint - but that was her dreaming.
