yo honestly I did end up enjoying the Blue Lions route more than Golden Deer /sorry Claude. lmao but I mean that's 100% valid, I too would rather have played M!Byleth when marrying Dimitri. I like FByleth about the same but MByleth is handsome okay. Also his armor is more legit than hers srry not srry I'm one of those people...
but yeah, more on-topic I think other than Cardinal who I haven't been able to connect with in forever xD I am gonna just give the rest of my characters a whirl and see how that goes. Hopefully well! If I do feel like I wanna change any aspects of their characters I will mention it. :3 ]Lionheart with Ebonyflame Lionheart felt more restless than usual today, perhaps attributed to the fact that he hadn't been called out on patrol by Cinderspark this morning. Now that it was midday, he felt the urge to go out and be productive for the sake of his clanmates, but common sense in the form of not wanting to get totally drenched from the bad weather kept him from doing so. Instead, he was currently amusing himself with pacing around camp. Seeing Ebonyflame caused a smile to instantly brighten his features as he padded over to the she-cat with a bounce in his step. "Hi Ebonyflame! How are you today?" he meowed cheerfully as a greeting once he was within earshot. Ebonyflame was one of the cats in the clan that he considered a good friend, mainly because they had grown up together from kit, to apprentice, to even getting their warrior names around the same time. Even though it had been some time now, Lionheart still felt giddy whenever he remembered his warrior ceremony. Cinderspark had trained him well, and he was glad to have been able to prove that to the clan.

Only to find Owlpaw standing next to him, the tom had been breathing heavy; still unsettled by his dream. "Oh Owlpaw." He paused, his fur laying flat and his breathing settled. "It's only you." He turned his gaze away from her, swishing his tail from side to side with slight irritation. "No, I just had a bad dream is all." He mewed with a slight annoyance in his voice, and flicked her ear with his tail; teasingly. He was thankful to have something real to focus on.

[ Hello everyone I think I will rp and stuff after this week is over. honestly playing GD after BL was underwhelming... ngl.. i expected to love claude more?? idk i felt he got shafted and i'm salty still, even more salty that i enjoyed edelgard's route more than his too ):<

i can't stand her outfit L M A O at all like at all she's so cute and i just, couldn't enjoy playing as her. like. as much. when they implemented the outfit changing that's when i finally could- like, feel better about playing as her idk. finished my GD run after that feature was added anyway LOL and i hate that i don't play her because of her outfit because i love female protags but it's just not.... okay...... how did we go from frobin to this????? asdfghjkl not to mention the female designs in this game are so much more, reasonable?? (imo) than some other fe games so like,,,,,,,,, idk why she look like dat. :c ]

(Hi! I just read over the pages I missed and I’m so so happy to see folks returning to the community! I’m sorry for not being here myself, quarantine has been weird for me. I started off doing quite well for the first week or so but now I feel like the void that is my anxiety is consuming me and it’s making it almost impossible to reach out to other people. I vibe with what everyone has been saying about characters. It’s weird to try to connect with the vision that a much younger me had xD so I might jump on Fireh’s train and write everyone a little differently. but yo honestly I unfriended them on animal crossing afterwards, I still have a pending BFF request from them but I refuse to accept after what happened last time >:u. also I realize this is the first time we are talking three houses to each other and I. have feelings sO UNDER THE CUT mainly because spoilers
I also played GD after BL and just like you said it was super underwhelming. I spent the second half of the story waiting for something interesting to happen like a plot twist (which never happened), and my sister actually fell asleep watching me play it. I love Claude but GD felt like the route where they were like "oh let's just put the rest of the lore secrets here!!" like we never found out he was Almyran (explicitly) and we never found out his real name was Khalid like ..... that's stuff I wanted to learn about, not Nemesis's problems. my main complaints about golden deer summarized are: the game thought Byleth cared about rescuing Rhea when I didn't, they thought Byleth would be conflicted about killing Edelgard when I wasn't, Judith came out of nowhere and I was supposed to care about her?? and the ending was just oh btw some dead guy came back to life go fight him.
Also let's not forget Claude's s-support ending where he ditches you right after he tells you he loves you hahahaha ;;; THANKS CLAUDE....
and yeah I was one of the people that didn't like FByleth's outfit from the start XD. I can get behind her armor even though it isn't as functional as MByleth's, but the tights... the TIGHTS... what is that ugly pattern on her tights and why does she even wear them, they offer like no protection to her legs whatsoever. I do like her DLC outfits though!! I def have to switch the outfit when I play cause her default one is just so... why. I def agree tho the female designs are heccin pretty just look at the timeskip BL girls!! they so pretty ;c;
but hey on another note besides Dimitri, the game gave us one good thing... Sylvix feels.
on a more general note, Rip the rogue plot. I do kind of want to do a big plot here sometime, ik we were talking about the prophecy with the Dark Forest cats and then the rogue plot, but both have been kinda put aside because of inactivity... maybe someday!

Sure! I majored in Computer Science, but idk what I'll focus on in grad school yet. To be honest, idk how I feel about going right back into school but it is one of the best programs in the US for Comp Sci so I feel like it'd be a waste not to accept the admission at this point, especially with the economy being uh... the way it is right now.  I remember you're in college now too, right? Do you know what you're majoring in yet? ]

Foxflight felt water start to spray his face through the wind. It was raining, apparently. He felt a surge of hope, even as his muscles burned. Was this StarClan sending them aid? He didn’t know but it didn’t matter. No birds liked to fly in the rain. He felt himself pushing harder, paws flying over the ground. Flinttail was keeping step with him, and Foxflight saw him glancing over in the corner of his eye. Berryfawn’s eyes lit up when their gaze connected with Sandpebble’s. Had they been thinking the same thing or was it just coincidence that they caught each other’s eyes? Regardless, they were glad it had happened. Now they had a chance to talk. “ Good!,” Berryfawn mewed in reply. “ Got any plans?” they asked, leaning forward in a slight stretch. Clearly their muscles were already preparing for activity, even though no plans had been made. Mouseflight was one of those cats who would never fully outgrow apprenticeship, and thus was engaging in a lazy game of catching his own tail. He wasn’t worried if anyone was watching or judging him; why should he be? He was bored and it was there. Plus it was getting a bit wet outside, if his ears were right, and he crinkled up his nose at the thought. Splashing in water when it was warm was one thing. But rain dripping onto your pelt and leaking through the fur was uncomfortable. He sighed, realizing he should probably be out hunting or patrolling regardless of the weather, as that was a warrior’s duty. He was broken out of his thoughts by the motion of a thrashing tail passing across his vision. He sat up and tilted his head to examine the culprit, flicking an ear as he saw it was his denmate Quietstep. He looked upset. That wasn’t right; something must be done. He got to his paws and trotted over to the clearly upset tom. “ Hey there!” he meowed in a friendly tone, though he had enough sense not to raise his voice too much to an emotionally agitated cat. “ You okay?” his head tilted again, this time the other way, one ear flopped down a bit in concern while the other focused intently on Quietstep. { <-•Ryse•-> I don’t know if you replied to these either. I survived the battle and got all my assignments in. Kinda sad in a way bc they ended up extending the deadline but :') it's all done at least :') so yay for rest LOL I do have 3 finals this coming week so just a note!

oh my goodness yes!!!! you get me friend !!! TT A TT the WHOLE time i played GD after BL i was like "yo when tf did byleth care about rhea so much" likeeeeeee "we must find her" "i'm worried" and i'm sitting here like " ?????????? "Ok???????????? since when did you care about her even before????????????" lmao rhea was basically non-existent in the BL route and GD never set her up to make me care for her STILL so it's just xDDDDDDD Claude deserved a route that was HIS and not some Silver Snow rehash assuming you played SS i hope oh god but- because why call it Claude's route when not even the cutscenes are all his :') it was spoiled to me on YT comments that the edelgard death cutscene was used in GD and SS and after playing SS it will bother me to no end XD because in GD it makes no sense to me!!!!!!!! at all!!!! plus as you said, to take it even further, why did they even bother with making Claude almyran? more or less fake name and all that LMFAO if it's not even gonna matter when you choose him. you barely even get to KNOW him like the other lords and im #salty over this lol i love claude in the end but his route does him no favors whatsoever imo nemesis coming out of nowhere catapults the issue more because WHY lol whY claude's route????????? yeah him ditching you in the s-support was #1 reason why i didn't s-support him in my GD run tbh honestly i really wish i could have said the same so i coulda been mad about it earlier than later xD the moment that outfit was unveiled i shoulda had the pitchforks like other people asdfghjkl not gonna lie dolce i can't get behind like- any element of her outfit. like not even the armor because of the belly button window, and her not even wearing gloves or something under her bracers????????????????????????????????????????????????????? her elbOWS HAVE MY EVERY CONCERN and YES the tights are terrible. None of it feels cohesive at all to me and the moment i started playing as her that's the first thing i noticed right away. Her dlc outfits are OD tho, fr i love them a lot. the summer uniform is A+ A+ A+ on her, but like.. all the dlc outfits are a+ A+ A+ on her wish her main was so we didn't have to play like this thowhen i first played BL I totally missed the Sylvix train because I never got their supports all the way the first time through. (A support not A+ so i mISSED THE IMPORTANT ONE ) I didn't even know how popular of a ship they were until maybe december LOL so when i did my CF route i got them together finally then and i s2g that was the worst time to decide to see what it was about because their ending in CF is so AWFUL xD (as it should be given the circumstances) basically i understand there's feels but i haven't fully explored it yet because of my first playthrough. i'm finally starting my second playthrough of BL soon though so :') gonna try again where it's more fitting :') :')
I too do want a big plot here as well at one point or another. We really just have to decide what we would like to do in one or what it'll accomplish or something? idk lol i'm always down to explore ideas ]

I know how muse is super finnicky sometimes lol.🎃❅❖.Şp໐໐kฯຟiຖ໓.❖❅🎃 bruh you did it!! well, only finals left xD but you got this! finals > final assignments right?? maybe?? :')ALSO you get me??? why would I ever accept them as my friend again after such a BE-TREE-AL  (hahahahaha)tbh I have not actually finished the game yet, and by that I mean I haven't played Silver Snow or Crimson Flower because I just cannot do Edelgard's route at all. I'm more neutral to Rhea (still don't trust her) but if it means I have to start on Edelgard's route to get to Rhea's route then IT'S NOT HAPPENING!!! Though I have read the spoilers for both routes so no need to tiptoe around them for me.don't get me wrong if you do like Edelgard though, but as a Dimitri stan I'm just meh to her, at best. >_> It also def does not help that I have like 5 friends who absolutely stan her and whenever we talk Fire Emblem they're like "smh Dolce you should play CF, Edelgard literally carries the game and Dimitri is a big stupid dumb" and I'm like ok even if I'm neutral to Edelgard I am not ?? gonna listen to you guys bash Dimitri??? just to tease me?
ALSO fr omg reading that just makes Golden Deer even worse, they seriously just reused stuff from the SS route for GD? IG Edelgard's cutscene makes 10x more sense now since in SS you started out as her professor, but in GD it just. does not. why assume the player has any sympathy for Edelgard, who dragged both Dimitri and Claude into a foolish war. I thought crimson flower was the worst route in terms of not getting enough unique cutscenes and stuff, but hearing that just. WOW. golden deer got shanked. despite my complaints I still say fear the deer. but like... Claude is such a compelling character on his own that I do wish we could have learned more about him and Almyra and stuff, not gotten a rehash of the Silver Snow cutscenes....
OOF OK you know it's been awhile since I played the game when I forget about FByleth's BELLY BUTTON SHOWING B R U H why. who designed her outfit. why did they think it was a good idea. For fanservice maybe, but for our protagonist??? WHY? truly a bruh moment.
ALSO wow fireh you have... failed me... :'( I accidentally got sylvix on my first BL playthrough and I was so shook they had an ending together bUT it was truly a majestic ending. you probably already have seen it but have you heard of the Battle at Gronder conversation between them if you recruited one but not the other, and force them to fight each other? FEELS MAN... FEELS... THEY PROMISED TO DIE TOGETHER... straight to the kokoro right there. my first BL playthru was honestly just all gay couples, it truly gave a new meaning to the acronym BL like I got SylvainxFelix, AshexDedue, AnnettexMercie, and uh... Ingrid was alone oops but I'm sure it's okay because she has Glenn's spirit with her... BUT yes you got this bro!!
honestly speaking of new characters, if the signup page is open to us existing members, I might sign up a few new ones sometime too! I had some new characters drafted for another rp I joined recently, but it's seriously turning into the rp that cried wolf. the owner said it would start on Monday, but it didn't. then she said it would start yesterday night, but it didn't. Then she said it would start this morning, and now it's nighttime and guess what the rp has not started. I regret everything about joining it and I was looking forward to rping my characters but I guess it'll never happen. xD

hOW-?? DIMITRI ISN'T A BIG DUMB :'( I'm 100% a Dimitri stan and while I did come to really like Edelgard.. it's literally because the game tries so hard to make you like her LOL. Playing CF and SS really gave me that kind of feeling,,, like....... she has the most content given to her route than the other lords, "The edge of Dawn" song is also from her perspective, and if you read the lyrics to the Japanese version, it's even more clear. The game just really caters to her and if you're a fan of her you're blessed. So like...... okay, you like the character the game really wants you to like,,,, what about it? lol I think I would have still loved Dimitri even if I had played CF first, and that's solely because Edelgard's intentions do not add up to her actions whatsoever lmfao
You didn't know? yeah. Seeing that cutscene in my GD run had me confused because she kept going on and on like "my.......teacher-" and it's LIKe GIRL ,,SINCE WHEN WAS BYLETH YOUR TEACHER ??? literally when plEASE tell ME?? but when it played out in my SS run it felt much smoother. :v I really don't get why they reused it when idk, it felt awkward in GD. Really, the whole GD route needs a rewrite. At least that's the way i've felt since playing them all. Because I don't really see Claude when I think GD, I think of Rhea and Nemesis, Agarthans, their messed up business, that kind of stuff, you know? I haven't really felt like "i went through a lot with Claude" like I did in the end with Dimitri and Edelgard :/ which is not right. Claude wasn't even from fodlan, why tf did they keep his story there?? asdfkl answers we will never get.

YASSSSSSSS THO i lOVE their paired ending in BL, truly the best for both in BL imo, and AAA the angst when you recruit one and not the other!!! I have fortunately never missed a student since my first playthrough so i've never gotten this conversation personally but i have seen it on YT. :'( i would really hate to playthrough the entire game, miss felix/or sylvain, and then come to find that conversation along with ALLLLL their history and supports AFTER you killed one with the other. idk man i wouldn't be right LOL

{ Hi guys! So sorry for disappearing. Literally so much is going on somehow. The morning after I made that last post my internet got all weird on my phone and it stopped responding for some reason (all better now) and then I got a sciatic injury by beNDING OVER SOMEHOW. And literally I was barely able to move for like two days but tonight I’m finally feeling better and hopefully that continues tomorrow. I do have a lot of things to do around the house though so I don’t know if I’ll be able to post. I wrote up a couple of replies on my computer so I need to transfer them here at some point and do the others. }

BRO HONESTLY THOUGH LIKE at first I was just like "hahaha very funny guys" now whenever they talk about Fire Emblem I'm just like  "here we go again". It probably does not help that most of said friends are guys who think Edelgard is waifu... well one of my friends just likes her design (valid), another friend liked her route more than the others because "it's anti-Church" (seems like a bs reason to me), and then the others just did CF route first so they are all super attached to her. and since Dimitri in CF is basically some super unhinged, depressed guy that is obsessed with Edelgard and killing her for seemingly no reason (which of course, we learn why in BL), that's essentially what they think of him too and ig the BL route did not change their minds. I've given up trying to defend him when my friends start talking Fire Emblem to just muting our group chat. AHEM sorry rant about my friends over. I def vibe with that, I got the feeling that Edelgard was supposed to be the main lord and that the game really pushes you to like her; didn't work on me though lOL (((: but exactly I agree w/ you: "if you're a fan of her, you're blessed" pretty much. I also am 100% that Edelgard's actions did not match her intentions. My understanding of her mentality is incomplete since I didn't do CF, of course, but I got that vibe from the war she wrought. One reason I just can't abide anything she does is because she is allied with the people who killed Byleth's dad.... don't get me wrong, I don't self-insert as Byleth, but I just cannot? side with the person who is responsible for the death of the avatar's father? even if she didn't order it she's the one who gave TWSITD (is that the acronym-) power and enabled their actions so LIKE... it's a pretty silly reason for me to hate her but, if you've read or seen the hunger games you know how Katniss can't look at her friend Gale anymore because she learns he's the one who designed the bombs that killed her little sister Prim? That's kinda how I feel about Edelgard and Jeralt's death. xD I vibe tho. When I think of the Golden Deer route I just think "damn, that was a hot mess". I also think about that one idiot who edited the Fire Emblem wiki, thinking Judith and Nader were Claude's parents when there was literally no hint about that whatsoever. But yeah, Rhea + Nemesis + Agarthans + the 10 Elites were way more important than Claude in his own route. also bruh moment when Claude was the prince of Almyra and did not drop that little tidbit to us, his loving professor, even once! So much for friendship Claude!!! i-it's okay fi, you can still redeem yourself... :'( Also rip Dimitri x Marianne but hey at least Dedue got to be with his lord forever..? Yeah, my endings were somehow spot-on and I didn't even know how to get paired endings at the time lol... idk how I got Ashe x Dedue, I know that I didn't do Sylvain x Ingrid because she was so weak at first. And Annette x Mercie was just because they were friends. xD
Tbf asking us who we're keeping is 100% valid since this rp has been going on for like 4 years, naturally we lose interest in some of the characters we came up with awhile ago. xD But that all sounds good! I'll probably wait until you have the new joining page before I commit to making more characters though. Unless I get impatient, which I definitely would not put past myself.
That sounds good for the flood; I don't really have any specific ideas at the moment to add to the flood but if I do somehow get struck by inspiration I'll definitely let you guys know!

{ Hi guys, I’m sorry for disappearing again. I’ve been in a weird headspace. I’m actually used to being home and isolated all the time but usually my mom only comes home at night and having another person constantly in my space is driving me insane lol. I’m super empathic so I feel the presence of every person around me and it’s super weird to constantly have another person’s energy interfering with mine.

She longed to run through the downpour with her sister like old times, but Sundance had kits now. Even though they were apprentices, and Firesky adored them, Sundance had a responsibility to them that took precedence over adventures with her sister. Firesky understood this. She still felt the urge to feel the rain on her pelt, but going out alone was never as fun as sharing it with someone. She glanced around the cave, eyes darting from cat to cat before they landed on Dewstripe. She had a vague memory of the she-cat getting up early this morning and creeping out of the warriors’ area. Maybe she had woken slightly or maybe it had been a weird dream. She didn’t know the answer there, but she did know how Dewstripe always seemed contemplative and dutiful. Did the she-cat ever have fun? Maybe this was the time to ask. She got to her paws and padded over, her tail flicking in a friendly manner. “ Hey!” she meowed cheerfully. “ Crazy how fast that rain came in, right?” She figured starting slow would be better than immediately suggesting an outing in this weather. |
