(Another version of Argus from an earlier roleplay once felt it was prudent to return a compliment to someone for the sake of morale. He chose to compliment the way the character sipped coffee.
I absolutely love his naivete. This time though, it's contrasted by the fact that he kinda-almost-sorta achieved AI godhood and nearly wiped out his parent civilization in the process in an earlier, but far more advanced iteration.)

"I'll come down." Nepeta said, scurrying off the top.

"A wise decision," Argus replied approvingly. "Your survival factor has increased by a magnitude of 4,916 percent."

"Theres no such thing as 4,916 percent." Nepeta said.

"It does indeed exist," Argus protested. "It is a projection, a unit of measurement detailing how less likely you are to die within the ship, as compared to outside of the ship."

Nepeta's eyes widened in a weirdly freaked out way. Her ears flattened. "My head feels like it's about to explode."

"You may already be experiencing the effects of explosive decompression," Argus pressed. "Step within the vessel."

"Why?" Nepeta asked.

"During death by decompression, the gases and liquids within an organism's body expand exponentially due to the lack of counteracting force in the vacuum in space, causing them to burst," Argus informed helpfully. Was he actually messing with her? He seemed so serious...

"I meant all the info you were giving me was insane." Nepeta's eyes were as big as saucers. "But does that actually work?"
((Nepeta's like a child. She'll believe literally everything.))

"Yes," Argus replied simply, choosing not to elaborate further. "You have still not boarded the ship."

Nepeta's blue eyes started shining. She boarded the ship. "You comin?"

(ah, sorry, didn't include enough context.
Argus' core is actually physically aboard Station Omega, but I made a handwave about how most Initiative ships, networks, and such can be interfaced by him remotely. The reason he's been sporadically talking with two different people that may be very far away from them is because he is actually speaking to them via radio and (though he hasn't actually used one yet) holograms.
For the time being, Argus' core will probably remain aboard Omega unless some sort of plot-significant event actually forces him to abandon his position and physically move about.)

Nepeta waved at Argus as she went off to explore this vessel. She flicked her ear at the slight sound of silent(ish) feet on metal. She sheathed the claw-gloves.
