Morningpaw || Female || Seven moons || Preacher apprentice ➣ Even for her young age, Morningpaw is an exceptionally small cat. If not for the wisdom in her amber eyes and the confident way she bounces around the preacher den, like a long-lost stray finding her way home, she might be mistaken for a kit. She has short, sleek white fur, and a long, skinny tail. Black and brown tortoiseshell spots trail from the top of her head down to the base of her spine. Aside from a few flecks on her sides, a black paw, and a small black speck on her tail, the rest of her body remains fairly unmarked. Thanks to her life of relatively peaceful preacher training, she has no scars and little of the hard, lean muscle that her former denmates are now busy building. ➣ Diligent, respectful, and fully devoted to StarClan, Morningpaw seems pulled straight from a stereotype of the ideal young preacher. Her loyalty - to her gods, naturally, but also to her family, her friends, her mentor, and her fellow preacher apprentice - is almost unrivaled. She is extremely passionate about her job; there is nothing she takes more seriously than using her connection to StarClan to help her Clan. However, Morningpaw is still a touch naive, always willing to believe the best of her Clanmates. Her kind heart also causes her to struggle to fill the punitive side of her preacher role, and while she would never question StarClan or her mentor, privately, she sometimes worries that the other preachers are too strict with LightClan. Additionally, because Morningpaw instinctually defers to those she perceives as having authority greater than hers, she can be quite easy to manipulate. A peacemaker at heart, Morningpaw would rather hold her tongue and accept unfair or unjust treatment than stand up for herself - and, while she hasn't yet been in a situation that would test this side of her personality, she secretly wonders whether or not she would be able to stand up for others if they were the ones being mistreated. However, Morningpaw ultimately has a good heart. She is fully dedicated to doing the right thing, and while her idea of the correct course of action could easily be swayed at this point in her life, her moral code remains strong and steady. ➣ Morningpaw was five moons old when the first vision hit: a sky full of stars engulfed by rolling storm clouds. She would have called it a dream if it weren't for the vivid quality of every second - a too-warm breeze stirring her pelt, the scent of incoming rain swarming her nostrils, the tension crackling in the summer air like the snap of a neck - and her mother's incessant coaching not to dismiss anything that could be a sign from StarClan. Still, it was a shock when Hollylight chose her for her apprentice. All Morningpaw really wants is to do right by them - her mother, her mentor, and most importantly, the mysterious red-furred she-cat who visits her in the darkness and whispers of hidden dangers she can't begin to comprehend. N/A. || Open! || Bisexual, though her vow to remain mateless is incredibly important to her. Sees Alderpaw as a sister.
Foxtail || Female || Fifty-seven moons || Queen ➣ Tall and fluffy, with hard, wizened amber eyes, Foxtail cuts an intimidating figure. Her thick, russet-colored fur seems to stick out in every direction, and the effect is doubled when her hackles are raised. Her tail, long and white-tipped, is the fluffiest part of her body, earning her her warrior name. She also has faint tabby markings along her back and down her spine. Foxtail certainly doesn't carry herself like a career queen, though excluding bouts of warrior work between pregnancies, that's essentially what she is. Years spent in and out of the nursery in rapid succession have left her body softer than the average warrior's, but her fangs remain sharp and her claws remain ready to draw blood. Scars, including a nick in her right ear and a scratch just above her left eye, mar her pelt, reminders that Foxtail has seen her fair share of battle - and she won't go down without a fight. ➣ Most of the Clan considers Foxtail cold-hearted and abrasive, a power-hungry she-cat who only cares to serve her own needs. As a borderline career queen, Foxtail has no chance of snagging any power for herself; her dreams of becoming a preacher were buried moons ago when she began her warrior training. However, she considers her kits - of which there have been many - her last chance at an enduring legacy, the ultimate reflection of her skill as a mother and her ability to fulfill StarClan's will. She also sees them as ideal vessels for her own failed dreams. It's no secret among LightClan queens that kits can be talked into interpreting dreams as prophetic visions and stray feathers as omens, and Foxtail has perfected the art. As a result, she's earned a reputation among her enemies and kits alike for being ruthlessly stern, interested in her offspring only until they find a way to disappoint her, willing to toss them aside at the slightest mistake. Foxtail considers these rumors mere exaggerations, certain that she's simply carrying out her motherly duties by pushing her kits to be the best cats that they can. ➣ Like many LightClan cats, as a kit, Foxtail dreamed of receiving the elusive preacher rank. She was disciplined at five moons old for repeatedly faking prophetic dreams, claiming that Wolfstar, the long-dead first leader of LightClan, had come to her in her sleep and told her directly that it was her destiny to become a preacher apprentice. She held the resulting bitterness deep inside her core, nurturing it until she found a suitable outlet: her first litter of kits. She groomed them - and every subsequent litter - to share stories of secret omens and dreams of deceased leaders, to enforce the code like its importance was seared into their very spirits. So far, she's had little luck; each of her kits has gone on to become warriors. With each litter, she's grown more and more determined and more and more unforgiving. [reserved] || Mother of Breezefeather, [last litter one cat here], Emberpelt, Boragetail, Cherryfur (deceased), Nightstorm, Paleflame, Rowankit (deceased), Galekit, Leafkit, [rest of litter four]. || Straight.
Stormpath || Male || Forty-eight moons || Warrior ➣ Long and lanky, Stormpath's body was obviously built for speed, not for brute strength. Because of his swiftness, his stealthiness, and his observant nature, Stormpath has earned a reputation as one of the better hunters in LightClan. However, he's extremely dedicated to all of his warrior duties, and he's trained hard to ensure that he's just as powerful in battle as his more muscular counterparts. He's more than willing to use that hunter's precision on any foe he encounters. His fur is a dark, slate-colored gray, with black marbled tabby stripes covering his pelt from head to toe. He has deep amber eyes. ➣ In some ways, Stormpath has grown into the exact cat he was raised to be: pious, deferential, always willing to put his duties before himself. He was a reputation for being hardworking and unobjectionable, the kind of cat that deputies prefer for dawn patrols because at least he won't complain. He also has a reputation for being about as emotionally expressive as a rock. Truthfully, Stormpath is an "action over words" type of cat; he would much rather prove himself by bringing home a mouthful of fresh-kill for someone than by actually talking about how he feels. This has led to a shortage of close relationships in his life, which he mostly tolerates; it's easier to keep his reputation as the perfect warrior afloat when nobody gets close enough to see the cracks. Deep down, however, Stormpath loves like a river, steadily trickling by even in the harshest of droughts, willing to quietly move mountains for the cats that he cares about. He may have been trained never to show it - because he carries secrets inside, unforgivable things in the eyes of both his Clanmates and his gods - but Stormpath actually has a big heart, and while his affections aren't easily earned or seen, they're invaluable. ➣ Stormpath was an apprentice when he first began to notice his male Clanmates in a way that he'd never bothered to acknowledge his female ones. Pious and afraid, he did the only thing he knew how to do: bury his feelings so far inside of himself that he was sure they'd never claw their way to the light again. He received his warrior name and eventually an official mate, Echoheart, and he told himself that even if he wasn't strong enough to learn to love her in earnest, he could at least bow his head and follow StarClan's path for him as best as he could. Moons later, StarClan sent him a test he never could have imagined, and suddenly, to his absolute mortification, he found himself falling for then-deputy Sparrowstar. This time, Stormpath's faith wasn't enough to save him, and finally, he let go of the battle he'd spent his youth fighting and learned what it meant to love outside of the code. Weak as he may be, Stormpath is a smart cat; he knows StarClan will never forgive him. But every moment he spends with Sparrowstar brings him closer and closer to the truth: it's a sacrifice he's willing to make. Mates with Echoheart; secretly having an affair with Sparrowstar. || Father of Echoheart's kits when they're born. || Gay.
Swiftstrike || Female || Twenty moons || Warrior ➣ Small but lean, the best word to describe Swiftstrike's build is precise. Though she certainly isn't the largest or most muscular cat in the Clan, her strength has been carefully cultivated, and she carries herself with the confidence and ease of a cat twice her size. The real intimidation, however, comes from her eyes. Narrow and blue, they carry the hardness of a cat whose life has brought many trials. Beyond that, her face is thin and extremely angular, and her expression is often sour, her tail often lashing. She has a coat of thin, pale silver fur slashed with dark tabby stripes. Her paws, muzzle, and the tip of her tail are all white. Her back leg is permanently twisted, and she walks with a noticeable limp, though she takes care to conceal the pain that her bad leg causes her as much as she possibly can. ➣ Even before the accident, Swiftstrike was known as brash and confrontational. She's always struggled to match the blind faith of her Clanmates, always found fault with the way they hung on the preachers' every word. Her injury - and her subsequent branding as an undesirable by the rest of the Clan - has only served to make her more bitter. Now, Swiftstrike crackles like the sky before a thunderstorm, buzzing with an urgent, angry tension. There isn't a fight left she's unwilling to pick, or a cat she's unwilling to challenge - up to and including the normally untouchable preachers. Logically, Swiftstrike knows that her high temper and low faith are a recipe for disaster, that every move could bring her closer and closer to the uncrossable line of banishment. She just doesn't care. Swiftstrike feels like an uncrossable chasm has split down her life, separating her from the majority of LightClan for all eternity. However, she is extremely loyal to the other members of LightClan's unwanted: disabled cats, heretics, rebels, and anyone else who behaves in a way that doesn't conform to StarClan's unreachable standards. These cats bring out her softer, more compassionate side. Secretly, Swiftstrike goes weak for the disadvantaged and the underprivileged. She also feels deeply for her siblings and any other cats who were victims of extreme grooming as kits, though she will never understand those who give into their mothers' commands and play prophecy through their kithood. Overall, Swiftstrike considers herself the logical product of her youth, the exact cat she was made to be - just not in the way her mother or her superiors could have ever imagined. ➣ After earning a reputation as a one of the fiercest and most dedicated apprentices in the Clan, Swiftstrike was expected to grow into an equally respectable warrior. However, her bright future was cut suddenly, brutally short after she unexpectedly suffered a leg wound that left her permanently disabled. Suddenly, she went from a promising young warrior to a borderline outcast - in LightClan, sudden disability is considered a sign of disfavor from the gods, and her Clanmates began to speculate about what she'd done to earn such a fate. Additionally, while Swiftstrike was left physically able to bear kits, she was excluded from her right to a StarClan-chosen mate. As a lesbian, the lack of a forced male mate actually works in Swiftstrike's favor, but the public shunning and her own inability to complete her warrior duties with the ease she once possessed have both been incredibly painful for her. She's grown incredibly bitter towards the preachers, who she now blames for various struggles in her life - namely, the grooming she suffered at the hands of her mother, the internalized homophobia she's had to work to overcome, and the disdain with which her Clanmates now treat her disability. N/A. || Daughter of Silvernight and Ashbelly (deceased); littermate of Littlekit (stillborn) and Wolfpaw (deceased); sister of Goldenripple, Firewhisker, Frostkit, and [names]. || Lesbian. Has been declared unfit for motherhood and does not have a mate.

Alderpaw || Female || 9 Moons || Preacher Apprentice ➣ Alderpaw is a slightly small cat for her age, though one wouldn't notice this at first. As her name suggests, she is a dark brown tabby she-cat, however she also has a white muzzle, white underbelly, white paws, and a white tail tip, with misty blue eyes. Her fur is relatively short, but still soft, completely unmarked of scars, and kept as well-groomed as possible. Her front paw pads and nose are a pale shade of pink, but her back paw pads are charcoal black. She's about average weight, with not a lot of muscle due to a lack of exercise.
➣ While Alderpaw was always relatively quiet, her personality became a mystery to most of her clan after she became a preacher, because she stopped showing her emotions outwardly. She comes off like a quiet young cat who is very dedicated to her job, which is pretty true. She is very rational, and will think over things for a long time before coming to a decision. She is not the type of cat who just goes along with whatever people say, instead questioning everything that seems suspicious to her, and thinking independently. This became especially prominent in her personality after spending some time as a preacher apprentice, finding her mentor's strict behavior to be excessive. However, she does not make this apparent, and will pretend to conform so she won't be perceived as suspicious. This is part of the reason why she doesn't show her emotions much. She's overall pretty mature for her age, though she still has her moments of a lack of experience and wisdom. However, Alderpaw is also a very suspicious cat. She has a hard time trusting others, to the point where she doesn't even fully trust her close friend Morningpaw. She is also quite arrogant and somewhat selfish, and it would be very hard to sway her opinion once she's set on something.
➣ Alderpaw is the daughter of Sparrowstar and [insert name of his mate here.] She had a relatively normal kithood for the first 5 moons or so. She became great friends with Morningkit despite their age difference, and after a while Alderkit found that she viewed Morningkit like a little sister. She also developed some internalized sexism due to her culture's views on female cats, but ever since becoming an apprentice she tried to get rid of it. Her life didn't start to get abnormal until she got her first sign, signalling that she was a potential preacher. When she was picked by [insert her mentor's name here], her father began to distrust her due to his dislike of preachers. He showed clear favouritism towards her sibling instead, and this was what made Alderpaw's paranoia and distrust of other cats to begin developing. Then came the weird omens that she would occasionally get that she was unable to interpret. She started to become stressed and anxious in general, and this only got worse when her sibling got sick, with no signs of recovering. She's starting to question everything that she's been taught, and all she wants to figure out the trust: of her omens, of her father's distrust, and of what exactly is going on in her clan, if there is anything happening.
None || Father is Sparrowstar, Mother is [insert name here], and littermate is [insert name here] || Straight, but does not want a mate and would probably be pretty bad long term relationship material anyways
Nightstorm|| Male || 16 moons || Warrior ➣ Nightstorm inherited his mother's tall stature. He's large, with a fairly muscular build due to lots of exercise. The fact that he's also quite fluffy with long fur makes him look bigger. His fur is pitch black with not a single splash of white, the only different colour being his dark green eyes. Even his paw pads and nose are black. However, in very bright sunlight, there are some faint red highlights to his pelt.
➣ When Nightstorm was a young kit, he was pretty nice and desired to please his mom, though he was easily made upset. However, as an adult, he's completely changed. He'd probably be a nicer and more stable person if it weren't for his pretty awful kithood, and how he knows his future will go. Nightstorm knows that he's going to be paired with a female cat pretty soon, and he will be expected to have tons of kits with her...despite the fact that he has no romantic interest in she-cats whatsoever. He feels that he has no control over his destiny, and that he can't even trust his own heart, which has made him extremely bitter about his clan's society in general. This manifests through him very easily getting upset or angry, and being very snappish in general. What definitely doesn't help is his mother still looming over him even after he didn't become a preacher like she planned. He is trying his best to cut her out of his life, but she goes out of her way to make nasty comments and keep herself in his life, which makes him even more snappish and moody then he would be with just his problems of having heterosexuality forced on him. However, he tries his best to not be a huge jerk to other people, but sometimes he slips up.
➣ While Nightkit didn't have a normal kithood, for the first few months it seemed okay enough. He was the eldest of his three siblings, and he enjoyed his kithood. He always had issues with getting upset at small things, but it was mostly harmless. Even when his mother began grooming him, it still didn't effect him very negatively, as he wanted to please her and happily went along with what she said, not really realizing what was going on. It wasn't untill Rowankit's death and his not being accepted as a preacher apprentice that she started acting cold towards him. At first he was devastated and hurt that his mother hated him so much, and he blamed himself for it, but after a while he began to realize that it wasn't his fault and that his mother was a manipulative abuser. Despite this, he can't completely shake off this earlier perception of events and still has issues with self-loathing as a result. This was all further amplified when, at around 10 moons old, he realized that he had no attraction to she-cats at all. At first he thought it was just because he was young and he would grow into it, but when he didn't, and he still found the idea of having a mate and kits unappealing, he realized it was something completely different. He hasn't told anyone about this though, out of fear of being ostracized (and he knows that his clanmates will invalidate his sexuality anyway.) At this point in time, he despises his clans culture and has a lot of bottled up emotional stress. None|| Mother is Foxtail, siblings are Paleflame and Rowankit || Gay Mistkit || Female || 4 moons || Kit > Mistkit is still young, so her body type has not yet become incredibly apparent, but she is beginning to show the earliest signs of a somewhat slim and athletic build. Her fur is short but surprisingly thick for its length. Once she's older she'll have a good build for swimming, which will be her greatest skill for sure. She didn't really inherit her mother's height, but she isn't small either: she's average. Her fur is grey all over without any white marks, and even her paw pads and nose are grey, while her eyes are bright gold. > Mistkit's personality has only just started to become clear about a couple of moons ago. On the one hand, she's ususlly generous and warmhearted towards her clanmates, especially her family, though how much of this is an act is a mystery. She'll spend hours at a time by herself imagining scenarios and stories entirely in her head, and tell them to other people if she gets the chance. Her enthusiasm for her skills is hard to dampen, and she thrives off of positive reinforcement. However, she's also very egotistical. She wants to be in the spotlight at all times, and is incredibly jealous of her siblings when people pay attention to them. Also, while she's generous and kind to people she deems worthy of her acknowledgement, shebis incredibly cold to those she has been raised to see as "undesirables." > From the day Mistkit could talk, her main priority was to please her mom. At first, she just did this by going along with everything her mother said and bringing her leaves, pretty stones, and other objects in a childish effort to impress her. However, once she was nearing her second moon, she began yo suspect that the favourite of the family wasn't her: it was Leafkit. Extremely jealous, Mistkit decided she would do everything she could to make Foxtail love her more. She began to constantly kiss up to her, going along with every single request, paying attention to every syllable uttered, and adopting every belief as her own. Despite her constant attempts to be the center of her family's attention, she knows deep down that she's not the favourite child. As much as it hurts her, she will still do everything in her power to be noticed: by her mother, her siblings, her father, and eventually, by her whole clan. ... ↪ Whitetalon || Tom || 26 moons || Warrior ➣ Whitetalon is a lean tom-cat with a more feminine but toned stature. His coat is short-haired and off-white with faint, orange-tabby markings on his legs, paws and tail, but the light markings are most prominently seen on his face with his chest and body remaining predominantly cream-white. His head is small and slopes to his muzzle at every angle. He has a mis-matched gaze with one of his eyes being blue and the other honey-colored with tall, orange-rimmed ears atop his head. ➣ Whitetalon is very spiritual and puts his belief in StarClan above all else—often setting meals out for his ancestors as he eats. He gives off a warm, humble and welcoming vibe and is positive about his life and the lives of others and gives cats the hope to keep going and hopefully creates change with his actions. He has the ability to be persuasive and reasoning; able to convince others of LightClan's beliefs and sways his clanmates to contribute to their full ability. He makes decisions after careful, analytic thinking; using his head and not his heart. However, he possesses a strong imagination, but his creativity and artwork is often suppressed by his need to believe in only what he sees and because he doesn't want others to think his visions are only imagined. Whitetalon is soft-spoken, courteous, amiable and his intelligence earns him respect while his other skills lack. Though he is all of these things, he doesn't get close to someone easily. He's just too much of a judgmental idealist that not many can appeal to his standards, so he will keep some distance. He is independent and confident and doesn't like feeling like his freedom is being taken away, so he's reluctant to commit or even have trusted friendships but will be kind regardless—even if it's feigned. n/a || Honeypaw is his younger sister || Gray A
Owlcrest || Male || 52 moons || Warrior ➣ Owlcrest is a thick-furred, brown Bengal tom with darker spotted and striped markings on his big-boned, broad figure. His nose, ear tips, and the underside of his tail are more sandy-colored than the rest of his coat. His tail tip, the fur under his feet, and a splotch on the back of his head are black. He has large ears on his round, flattened face with a drippy black-spotted nose and has bright yellow-green eyes. ➣ It's safe to assume that Owlcrest is a clever fellow, given his name and the gift of fortune-telling that he claims to have. He's mostly silent and reserved, but will wholeheartedly speak when giving his fortunes. Some say that his gaze is unsettling and always watching others. Perhaps he is so quiet because he's busy simply observing everyone very closely in the clan. That would definitely make his predictions more accurate, yet it probably isn't comforting to know that Owlcrest is aware of everyone's secrets. Even describing him as all-knowing would still be an understatement. He is a fairly decent warrior when he absolutely has to fight but prefers not to and would make a better hunter and tracker if it weren't for his terrible allergies. n/a || n/a || Gay but not openly
Honeypaw || She-cat || 10 moons || Apprentice ➣ Honeypaw is a long-haired, pale orange-and-blonde tabby she-cat with a lithe, flexible figure. Her fur is scruffy so it takes a long time grooming to make it as sleek and shiny as she likes it. There is a ring of white around her throat and up the mouth and bridge of her muzzle. Her nose and paw-pads are pink and she has yellow, caramel-and-honey eyes. ➣ Honeypaw has an obvious disinterest in becoming a warrior. The thought of fighting and dirtying her pelt is an unwelcome idea. However, she is careful to take care of her physique, keeping her lean, healthy, and agile form ready for...being pretty. Honeypaw's best trait is probably taking care of others but even fails at that with her vain attitude. She purposefully projects her voice annoyingly high and sing-song like. What she does enjoy is being creative, like drawing in dirt and carving on trees, because she thinks one of the best things a cat can be is well-cultured and talented in some area. Her older brother, Whitetalon, taught her how to be an artist, but the more she practices, the less interested he becomes and it frustrates her. She is a restless sleeper and has a habit of gossiping and talking too much. Despite all her faults, if persuaded and praised enough, she makes a great hunter. n/a || Whitetalon is her older brother || Panromantic Heterosexual
Galekit || She-cat || 4 moons || Kit ➣ Galekit is a petite and short-haired, pale-brown she-cat with darker russet tabby-markings. Small orange splotches appear sparsely on her light-tipped fur with white guard-hairs. Her tail-tip, the bridge of her nose, chin and the rims under her amber-colored eyes are white. ➣ Galekit remains rather quiet and airy and doesn't know how to hide her obvious eavesdropping. Only if she were a literal gust of wind could it be acknowledged whenever she was around because she's so silent with a tiny stature. When she does make her presence known, her snappy, snarky tongue makes any cat wish she kept her mouth shut and she also has quite the temper. She gets easily irritated by the smallest of things and a common attitude she displays is bitterness. Infrequently does she show impulsive anger but it's possible. Galekit is unconventional, doing things the way she wants even if they're completely bizarre but is susceptible to her mother's teachings even though she tends to twist them. n/a || Foxtail is her mother || n/a

WIP forms, still adding to: any x's for names
Paleflame || Tom || 16 moons || Warrior ➣ Paleflame is very large - not just compared to others in the Clan, but compared to most cats in general. He is very tall and leggy, as well as very slender. His eyes are dull and ambiguously shaded, though best described as orange. Paleflame's pelt is short, sleek, and mainly pale brown. Dotting most of his pelt are many black spots and occasional stripes, including on the white that covers the insides of his legs but not including the white on his soft underbelly. His face is rather angular, though the same could be said for most if not all of his other features. His back has a bit of an extra bow to it and he walks very carefully and purposefully at all times. His ears, which are composed of 2 black stripes with 1 white stripe in between, are unusually large while his tail brown and black ringed is unusually short. Another defining feature and a bit of an oddity is his black nose. Altogether Paleflame is a very unique cat. ➣ Paleflame is set apart from his Clanmates not just in his appearance, but also in his personality. He doesn't care much for socialization, and demands respect in all his interactions with others. If someone speaks to him, he doesn't always find it worth his time to respond. Others don't go out of their way to speak to him, though; he can be testy at times, and is often disdainful or scornful. It's very different when he respects you - he becomes very considerate, and, usually, polite. The Preachers often get the brunt of this more positive behavior. Obviously, he puts himself on a pedestal just below the Preachers. While StarClan are the ones that are to be looked up to, Paleflame believes he is a good role model in the world of the living. Completely devoted to his faith and, by extension, his Clan, Paleflame rigorously sticks to the words of the Preachers and to the code that has been set in place by cats long deceased. Paleflame will vehemently defend his beliefs and anything having to do with them. His entire life revolves around being faithful. ➣Much of Paleflame's personality traits are related to him having gone through intense grooming as a kit. He was brought up to act like a preacher, and is still stuck in those ways. Many kits that were groomed usually develop some personality outside of what they were taught when so young, but Paleflame's thoughts are still occupied by little else. One of the biggest "sacrifices" he will have to make to the Clan will be being assigned a mate and having kits for the Clan. This is a sacrifice because of his intense adherence to the life of a Preacher, in which mates are not allowed. Well that and he's gay as h*ck, he just doesn't know that part yet. Crush on Whitetalon || Mother: Foxtail ; Father: x Siblings: Nightstorm in his litter and many others in other litters || yolo
Silvernight || She-cat || 62 moons || Queen ➣ Silvernight is sleek, though long-furred, with a smaller frame than some. Her pelt is silver and black, and the two colors flow into each other seamlessly, the thickness of her coat hiding her well-defined muscles. Her underbelly and paws are white, and she works meticulously to keep them that color. Silvernight's eyes are a cold blue-gray, which fit well with the way she presents herself - severe, harsh, and stern, in most cases. She holds herself high and with dignity, now even moreso since her mate, Ashbelly, died. Overall, she can be intimidating, despite her smaller stature. ➣ Silvernight appears a lot like her mother did - cold and blank. Her emotions come out in quick, harsh flashes if they come out at all. Since she was young, she was taught to prioritize strength, determination, and hard work over most things. Unfortunately, honesty was not part of the "desired" traits instilled in her from a young age. She does her best to be strategic and calculating, completely glossing over what is "allowed". This works out often, but at times it does come down to pure fight and force of will. Obviously, she could be a very valuable part of the Clan, but has spent much of her life only aiming for the power her mother wanted for herself. Now that it's her last litter of kits, she's going to need to set her sights on something else. Big changes are coming for this conflicted queen. ➣ Silvernight's life has been anything but easy. She started out being groomed herself at a very young age, but ultimately was unsuccessful and her mother shunned her and her litter mates for it. Her mother died at a young age giving birth, but Silvernight wasn't swayed from following in her mother's footsteps. She now grooms her kits as well, but bearing the kits wasn't easy. She was assigned a mate at an older age than usual and struggled with infertility, which she ended up lessening by going against the religious ways and finding herbs for. Her infertility issues were made even worse by her adamant refusal to bear kits any time outside of when the litter would be most likely to include a kit with The Power, and she ultimately ended up having only 3 litters before her mate died unexpectedly. Her first litter was extremely unsuccessful, and one ended up being exiled due to disbelieving entirely in the Clan's religious ways. Her second litter was debatably even worse, with one kit being stillborn and another dying in apprenticeship. Now she's even more desperate for one of her last kits to become a Preacher. Mate: Ashbelly [Deceased] || Kits: Goldenripple [exiled due to extreme, blatant atheism] and Firewhisker from her first litter, Swiftstrike is the only survivor of 3 from her second litter, x x and Frostkit from her newest litter. || Other
Firewhisker || Tom || 30 moons || Warrior ➣ Firewhisker was named as a kit for his orange tabby pelt. In the sunlight, the two shades of orange ripple like flames, making it difficult to hide from prey at times. Another downfall are the white parts of his pelt, which is all of his underside up to a triangle point ending on his forehead, as well as the tip of his tail. Firewhisker is very proud of his pelt and tries to keep it meticulously clean, which does no favors for his hunting, but plenty enough for his confidence. He is a tiny bit on the plump side, and can often be seen with his orange eyes closed tightly as he dozes in camp. ➣ Firewhisker is more light-hearted than most in the Clan. He likes to joke and goof around. He isn't all lightness, though; Firewhisker is prone to fits of anger, and if his jokes aren't well-received he could become very confrontational. This is because his joking is how he attempts to distance his true thoughts and feelings from others, which is very important due to his hidden non-religious beliefs. Firewhisker is also rather stubborn and set in his ways; if others don't believe him or agree with his opinions, he can get extremely upset. In fact, he's prone to fits of anger, and can react explosively to any perceived slight. This might be because of his rough past, which also exacerbates the issue; since his only sibling was exiled, others haven't looked at him the same. As mentioned previously, he has some non-religious beliefs, and some of them are very similar to the ones his sister vocalized before being exiled. ➣ Firewhisker was part of the first litter of Silvernight's kits. He and his sister, Goldenripple, were not groomed much if at all because Silvernight was such a new mother, and because it was unlikely either of them would become a Preacher's apprentice anyway due to the timing. Silvernight believes this is why Goldenripple was so blatant about her disbelief and even disdain of StarClan, which led to her being exiled shortly after her Warrior ceremony. Overall, Firewhisker had a more pleasant kithood than most others in the Clan, and definitely better compared to Silvernight's other litters. N/A || Mother: Silvernight, Father: Ashbelly, Living Siblings: Swiftstrike, Frostkit, Goldenripple, x, and x || Straight, mostly. Also lowkey agnostic but can't say that, obvs.
Leafkit || She-cat || 4 moons || Kit ➣ Leafkit is a calico she-cat with bright green eyes. Her white is exceedingly present around her eyes and from her muzzle down the rest of her underside, including her neck and chest. Each of her four paws are also white. She has rather large paws, especially compared to her rather small frame, and she is noticeably fluffy instead of sleek. She has the appearance of being clumsy, but it has less to do with her actions and more a visible manifestation of her personality. ➣ Leafkit's personality is all over place, and both her moods and opinions change every time you so much as blink during a conversation with her. Her core traits lie in her extreme caring and nurturing; she isn't fully into the whole Preacher idea because a dream of hers is to one day have or somehow otherwise care for kits. Leafkit values honesty above all else, and usually believes things she shouldn't because she assumes others value honesty too. She is also extremely stubborn, especially about her beliefs. Even when she sees she may be in the wrong, she will argue and disagree until she deems it an acceptable time to apologize. She may never apologize or open change her mind if you push too hard, though. For such a young cat, Leafkit can be exceedingly complicated. ➣ Right now she's only 4 moons old but she's still gone through a good deal. She is being groomed by her mother rigorously while trying to sort out all of her own feelings as well. While she really wants kits or at least to care for them somehow, she is asexual and has already started thinking of ways to get out of the assigned mate requirement if she isn't chosen as Preacher. NA || Mother: Foxtail, Father: x, Siblings: Galekit, x, and x in this litter, more in others || N/A

[ Darkηesque hi! uh, there are a few complications with claiming a preacher, sorry to say. preachers are going to be pretty corrupt and cynical in this roleplay, and have huge plot relevancy because of that. (which, isn't really your fault for not knowing because i explained literally nothing of the plots yet on the main page). also, the preacher suffix is -light. again, sorry >_< ]

[ it's chill ^^ thank you for being understanding about it. also, cute futaba pic. and yeah, that's fine. after preachers became corrupted though, starclan ceased communication with them as well, so that's another important thing to know. right now they're mostly faking signs to further their own agenda. the apprentices are claimed though. ]

Updated open roles list as of August 27:
- Deputy - self-explanatory. - Foxtail's kits - Foxtail is kind of the first villain, so this is super important. She'd be pressuring these kits to fake signs from StarClan in hopes that they could be selected as preacher apprentices. [1/12 remaining; thirty-six moons old.] - Silvernight's kits - similar to Foxtail's. [Don't quote me, but two remaining, five moons old.] - Cats to participate in the underground medicine plot - This will begin when Alderpaw realizes that medicine could have saved her sibling and decides to secretly train herself and others to treat this sick and the injured. This is a great plot opportunity for any characters who have suffered a lot of loss in their life or who have a bit of a rebellious streak. [Limitless within reason, but there are old a few for now.] - Lots of warriors to mate with one another - Especially toms. This sounds less flashy than other spots, but there's a lot to do with warriors here! We also have a group PM that goes more in depth on different plots you can sign up for that you'll be added to when you join. [Limitless.] - Undesirables - AKA cats declared unfit for a mate. Lots of drama here. Many of them are very resentful because they're essentially now social outcasts struggling to survive in LightClan's close-minded environment. [Limitless within reason; most cats are given mate assignments.]

... ↪ Oh multiple people planned this out, hi. Aah I'd be down with Whitetalon being the true preacher ^^' And I can make a she-kit for one of the litters that needs one to even out my genders These plots sound great btw You could possibly play one of Foxtail's? I literally have no kits for her newest litter, RIP. Her form's a little rough rn, but the basics are all there if you wanna take a look.

... ↪ Well it fits bc Galekit is usually Galefeather who is also a certified Awful Mother™ But thanks! I'd also suggest Whitetalon and Honeypaw could both be from Foxtail's previous litters to help but they aren't really plausible or make any sense, rip I actually did some math (gross) and worked out the approximate age of each of her litters/how many I picture in each one (subject to change), and I don't think things totally line up currently, but here it is if you still want to look! Litter #1: thirty-six moons old. - Breezefeather. - Open. Litter #2: twenty-seven moons old. - Emberpelt. - Cherryfur. (Deceased.) - Nettlefoot. Litter #3: sixteen moons old. - Rowankit. (Deceased.) - Nightstorm. - Paleflame. Litter #4: four moons old. - Galekit. - Leafkit. - Open. - Open.

these r all hecka wip, obviously
Echoheart || Female || 34 Moons || Queen ➣ Echoheart has always been small. As an apprentice, she worried that her lithe and fragile frame would impede her success as a warrior. But Starclan gifted her with a casual elegance, and she could move quietly through the carpet of autumn foliage in search of prey. She is, for the most part, a simple cat and her pelt reflects that. The majority of her fur is a light gray, besides from the tip of her tail and a small triangle of white around her muzzle. Her eyes, like the rest of body, are unexceptionable. They are a muted green color, and still possess the sense of softness that is lost by most cats after apprenticeship. ➣ Echoheart is devoted in every sense of the word. When her mother died due to a painful bout of greencough while still nursing Echoheart, the preachers told her it was what Starclan meant to happen. Echoheart found peace with this, and began to believe that every action that occurred around her was what the Five Leaders knew was best. She always let the world move through her, instead of attempting to change its course. Although Starclan made her small, they gave her grace. When they took her mother away, they gave her faith. And, for a reason Echoheart has yet to understand, they gave her the most beautiful mate she could ever ask for. Stormpath, to her, is proof of Starclan's existence and the love they have for each cat. She is eager to raise her future kits as a shining family on a hill, and fill them with the love Starclan has filled in her. ➣ After her mother's early death, Echoheart was raised communally by different queens in the nursery. Her father was stricken not much longer by the same sickness that took her mother, and although it was less painful, he succumbed to it regardless. Echoheart never thought much about her father's death. Her mother must have needed him more than she did. Stormpath's mate || Family || Other

big wip, need to make 2nd cat and add more to hollys personality! ))
Hollylight || Female || Age || Preacher ➣ A petite she-cat. Hollylight attempts to make herself look as intimidating as possible. A mean look, a few glares. Her appearance embarrasses her. She wants to look as tough and mean as possible - of course, matching with her personality. Ever since becoming a preacher, though, she has had to clean herself up. Her fur used to be messy and ungroomed, but now every morning its nice, sleek, and shiny. Though it may take a little longer due to She is jet black and her ➣ Hollylight is a manipulative, mean, and deceptive cat. She manipulates others into believing her visions when they dont believe her - and they have good reason not to believe her. Part of the reason why she got others to believe her was her manipulation and threatening of them if they didn't believe. She couldn't get everyone to believe, but when they didn't, she blackmailed them. Hollylight is very aware of how terrible of a person she is, and embraces it. After all, there's nothing wrong with it... right? She acts very high and mighty, but deep down she knows shes just a fake. It greatly bothers her that shes a no good fake. Often at night she keeps herself up over it. There must be a reason why shes like this, why shes a fake, right? Starclan must have destined her to be like this, right? Her messages must be worth spreading - thats what she says shes decided on by now, but she really knows its not true. Hollylight is also quite mean. Of course, she sucks up to the leader and deputy. But she views everyone else as lowly and no good. They're just filthy warriors and the likes in her mind. They dont and never will deserve her respect. ➣ History (optional). None || wip || The fake preacher.
next form ;;; wip - foxtails mate

these are all WIPs.
nothing is definite.
Mapleshine || She-cat || Fifty-one moons || Warrior ➣ Mapleshine is a small, muscular she-cat, made for being hard to strike but hitting quite hard. She has pale blue eyes that are shaped like lemons. Her pelt is feathery and soft, but it isn't long. Her sleek fur is mostly white with a few splashes of ginger and gray on it. The patches have darker, classic tabby stripes on it. The markings on the gray are black. ➣ Mapleshine is very much a stereotypical mom character. She is sweet, compassionate, and sensitive. She does her work and tries her hardest to benefit her Clan. She's rather energetic and enthusiastic to do her work. She's also a relatively social cat, which makes it hard for her to stay quiet and pay attention to anything. Mapleshine is strongly religious. She believes that StarClan is the answer to everything, and she fully trusts preachers. She's also rather stubborn. She holds onto the past like it's her little kitten, so it's typical of her to hold grudges and maintain illogical ideas. She's very honest about her beliefs, and she deeply cares about family. Mapleshine is emotional and moody at times, plus she isn't very good at analyzing or even thinking below the basic surface. ➣ Mapleshine was born in the most generic family possible. Neither her father nor mother were much of anything special. She had two siblings. One died soon after birth and the other died from infection from a thorn in his nest before becoming a warrior. When Mapleshine was assigned Sparrowstar as a mate, she immediately demanded to have kits. It was a bit disappointing to her that he held off from having them for about twenty moons. When she had the kits, she named Rookpaw after her brother that had died from the infection. Mapleshine never groomed her kits, but she was surprised when Alderpaw started to report prophetic dreams. She is in total support of her daughter. None || Sparrowstar's mate, Alderpaw's and Rookpaw's mother || Straight
Rookpaw || Tom || Nine moons || Apprentice ➣ Rookpaw is a small, lean tom with short fur, streamlined for slipping through undergrowth without getting his pelt snagged onto a bramble's thorn. His amber eyes are large and round, an almondy shape. He has a gray pelt with black, spotted tabby markings and white that covers the lower half of his body. ➣ Rookpaw is bright and cheerful. If he could smile, that would probably be his expression almost every moment he was alive. This also pairs up with the fact that he's enthusiastic, optimistic and supportive. He always saw a bright future ahead, and he always tried to encourage others into seeing it with him. Rookpaw is also wildly confident. He would proudly share his skills and abilities with his Clanmates. Alongside that, he's very chatty and would talk for hours on end. Some enjoy this, but others find his personality utterly obnoxious. Rookpaw is very prone to his instincts, so he'll often take risks without weighing the pros and cons. This also causes himself to put his own life and well-being over others. If it came to saving his entire Clan or himself, he would save himself. That doesn't mean that he won't feel guilty for doing this afterwards, or, in other similar cases, that he won't reconsider his decision moments after making it. He's rather argumentative as well. ➣ History (optional). Relationships || Sparrowstar's and Mapleshine's son. Alderpaw's brother. || None
Boragetail || She-cat || Twenty-seven moons || Warrior ➣ Boragetail is a lean she-cat with fluffy fur. She was definitely made for being hard to hit in battle and squeezing into smaller places. She has round, pale hazel eyes. Her pelt is mottled and russet. She has a few black tabby stripes on her body. ➣ Boragetail is a shy, hardworking she-cat. She can be resourceful, helpful, and caring. Pay attention to the words. Due to the condition of LightClan, such a promising cat has become paranoid, anxious, and emotionally guarded. It's been all due to her one little quirk. At seemingly random times, she'll start to quiver, her throat will tighten, and her ears will start to feel hot. While these periods tend to be short, they are somewhat common. However, she is practically incapable of doing anything whist in one of those times. Over the seasons, her condition has gotten worse. Each panic attack as gotten longer, and they have become more inconsistent and common. Boragetail lives in paranoia of when her next attack will be. She tries not to express these feelings towards anyone. Away from that, Boragetail greatly desires to be in a relationship, have kits, and feel loved. Her mother never loved her, she knows it. So, she feels that starting a new family will give her the happiness she desires in her life. Yet, she may not ever get one due to her "quirk." ➣ Boragetail was three moons when her panic attacks started. Initially, her mother mistook it for her having visions. So, Boragetail was groomed even harder than most of her siblings. Soon, the Clan realized that there was something wrong with her. It wasn't visions at all. Moons passed, Boragetail was treated the smallest bit differently from her peers. Then, an idea was sprung up about her. The panic attacks she was having were because she was possessed by a cat in the dark forest. A ridiculous idea, yes, but it certainly was a decent explanation for a phenomenon few had seen before. As soon as that idea popped up, Boragetail was automatically shunned by the entire Clan and was lumped together with a mateless group of cats called the undesirables. She never got a mate at the ceremony, and she was forced to live the entirety of her life alone. Relationships || Foxtail's and Speckleear's daughter. (second litter) || Heterosexual, probably
Aspenlight || Tom || Seventy-eight moons || Preacher ➣ Aspenlight is a tall, scrawny tom with prickly fur. Essentially, he's not fun to snuggle with. He has half-moon, hazel eyes and a slightly elongated face. He is a silver broken mackerel tabby tom, meaning that his pelt is mostly white with black markings. ➣ Aspenlight is brave and clever. He's always quick to figure out a solution to a problem, though executing it might be some of a problem if he's improvising. He works well under constructive, planned environments, where everything is under his control and he can notice even the smallest odd detail. Aspenlight doesn't work well with others. His heightened idea of his own skills make him selfish, highly unlikely to share anything with anyone. He doesn't necessarily like having to share the preacher role with up to five other cats, which is why he held off from picking an apprentice for so long and left it up to the other preachers to pick Hollylight, [Third preacher's name goes here], and later Morningpaw. Aspenlight is stubborn; he tends to neglect change and prefer the old ways. Sometimes, he even fears it. The idea of him abruptly losing his powers of control haunts his life. ➣ Aspenlight grew up under his fairly generic and religious family. His mom believed in complete honesty, and she wanted him to have her grandkits, so she never groomed her kits. When Aspenlight started to report serious prophetic dreams, she was a bit discouraging. Well, she was actually highly discouraging. However, the young tom went directly to the preachers and told them about the dreams that he had. Soon afterwards, the preachers picked him as an apprentice. After Aspenlight had become a preacher apprentice, he was energetic and excited. He was ready to help his Clan by interpreting signs and picking mates for cats. He was ready to pour his heart out onto it. However, he soon realized the nature of the other preachers. They were lying and manipulate, something that his parents had been firmly against. He wanted to stop training for a while. Yet, when his preacher mentor offered to teach him how it's done, Aspenlight accepted. He soon fell in love with it and poured all his energy into manipulation and lies. How tragic. Over time, he has become more independent and tough. If any of his three siblings or two parents were alive, he wouldn't talk to them much. He does have a litter of nieces and nephews, who also have kits, but he doesn't care about them at all. Relationships || If someone wants to be his relative, you can. || Ace
The gender stereotypes of the names are strong
also, I may break your canon. Sorry if I do.

Ravenpaw || Male || 12 moons || Apprentice ➣ Ravenpaw is more of a petite pitch black fuzzy furred tom, he is not very big, doesn't have broad shoulders or big paws for hunting or fighting, he has small paws that are efficient for digging up plants to heal the wounded and cure the sick, he has a long tail that looks like one giant feather and limber legs, he has luminous green eyes and a little black nose that blends in with the rest of him, and longer whiskers than the average cat ➣ Ravenpaw is straightforward, he doesn't beat around the bush, especially to a sick patient or one that is so wounded they aren't going to survive, but at that point, they should realize that themselves. Although he doesn't try to spare your feelings, he's one of the realest cats in the clan. He is very smart and loyal. Ravenpaw does have some underlying anxiety about well everything, he is worried about the smallest things and sometimes it gets the better of him. ➣ N/A N/A || N/A|| He is gay
Wolfbite|| Female || 50 moons || Warrior ➣ Wolfbite is a not your average petite, soft, cuddly feline, she is tough, rough and sometimes unkempt. She was born with long, fluffy silver fur that has a habit of getting all ruffled up and staying that way because she is too lazy to give herself a wash. She has silvery blue eyes that most of the time just look gray, and cats sometimes feel the need to ask her if she's still interested in the conversation because she has an act for masking her emotions. Wolfbite's paws are slightly bigger than they should be for a cat her size but she doesn't let them get in her way. And she has a long, shimmery tail that when she cleans it, gets many compliments but she hates it and wishes she had a simpler pelt. ➣ Wolfbite isn't a mean cat, she just prefers to stick by herself, as it's been that way for most of her life. She has had to prove her worth time and time again because she was born a kittypet. She doesn't mind though, she likes showing off her skills, and maybe that makes her conceited but she doesn't care. Wolfbites is competitive and sometimes harsh, but she tries to only tell the truth. She has never had a crush or mate, and as of right now, doesn't see herself having one and doesn't seem to think she needs one, but when she finds the right cat she will love with all her heart and always protect her mate with all her power. ➣ She was formerly living in a twoleg home, with a couple and a few children. She hated living there, so at a young age left home and wound up in an unfamiliar location when she ran into clan cats, and of course they thought she wouldn't be able to amount to much but she proved them wrong and keeps trying to to this day N/A || N/A || She is lesbian

[ jaѕpυrr there are multiple complications with the forms you submitted. i'll just quote things. > "For every apprentice you make, you must make one warrior." [rules] > "The study of medicinal treatment is forbidden. If StarClan wishes for a cat to join Them, the living have no right to intrude. Similarly, if it is not a cat's time, they will be saved. Refer to the first law." [clan law] > "Mates are chosen by the preachers [at 20 moons], by the way. Idk if that's on the main page yet or not." [dec] "Remain faithful to your mate; all pairs are chosen so as to produce the strongest litters possible. Disabled cats or cats deemed unfit aren't allowed to have kittens." [clan law] > furthermore, because mates are chosen at a time most cats wouldn't be deputy, redpaw's ambitions would not directly affect his chance at reproduction. this is less obvious, though, so the mistake made was understandable. considering there is very little written on the main page at this point, i feel slightly offended that you didn't bother to really go over anything. ]

[ jaѕpυrr hi um while its good that you deleted one apprentice there are still some problems with your forum 1. Ravenpaw's form mentions having paws good for digging up medicine. Medicine is forbidden in this clan, at least for the time being. 2. Wolfbite would have def been given a mate by now. It's the law that all cats are paired up when they're around 20 moons old. Even if she is a lesbian, she'd still be expected to have kits.]

For example, my character Swiftstrike doesn't have an assigned mate because her disability was seen as a sign of StarClan's disapproval. However, if Wolfbite was excluded, that would be a permanent decision; she wouldn't be allowed a permanent mate. (Forbidden is cool if you wanna plot it out, though.)
