"Nu uh. You are truly going down." Kate laughed. "So are we going to start it now? And I should ask where? If it gets too heated, I know saying this might be a mistake, but my hotel isn't too far up the road." Kate added as an after thought. She hoped that she wouldn't regret it in a few hours.

(True)
"So if I had told you, you wouldn't be mad?" Cam asked, almost sarcastically, then nodded a little, then hesitated. "Yeah, her career took off, but it's broken her in the process. Is her mental health really worth a promotion?" She sighed a little and looked around her quarters. "I wish you were a psychologist, or at least someone in this group was, we could all really use one right now..."
"You're right." Spock nodded a little, then took a sip from his tea. He watched it for a while, then finally answered her question. "I was focusing on my work and responsibilities. I believed you were probably doing the same, which you most likely were, and that continuing to communicate may be both unprofessional and an unneeded distraction to our duties." He replied, then looked up at her, curious to why she asked. "I thought you had thought the same, since you slowed down responses as I did." He did not perceive the sadness, or any emotion really from T'Aimnu.
James sat there in silence for a while, not sure what to do. Then he did what he had been wanting to do since she started to cry. He hugged her. It was awkward since the position she was in, and it took him a while to figure out how to pull it off without falling off the bed, but he did it. He didn't look at her as he did, afraid of her reaction. He wasn't sure how she would respond. "I'm sorry... For everything..." He sighed.

Logan just shrugged with a small smirk. "You never know. And you got any ideas on where? Your hotel room? I... I'm just staying in my truck, so unless you want to drink in the truck bed, then that's probably not a good idea..."

Kate sighed and with a nod, she gave in. "Alright. My hotel room it is. Or a bar, doesn't matter. As long as people don't recognize the fact of about how much I drink and I didn't react to it." She started off to it at a normal pace.

"I would have still been mad yes Cam. But I wouldn't be as mad because when you don't talk to someone who's trying to communicate with you and you don't reply back there's nothing you can do." Bones stated, some anger spiking for a moment. He shook his head for a moment. "Sometimes Cam something traumatic has to happen in your life before you can get stuff done. And in that case that woman that Abby was before she would have never become the person who she is and accomplish what she did without it." McCoy sighed.
"I for once not have the same thinking as you did Spock. I thought that if we continue to communicate, we would only grow as individuals might." T'Aimnu responded calmly with a raised eyebrow. " Spock one can only respond as much as the other person sends a reply. And even though I had a lot on my plate with my missions, duties and trying to help Abigail, as Abigail would say, communicating with you would have only grown myself as a person." T'Aimnu replied calmly.
Abigail tensed once she felt James' hands. It took her a few minutes for her to relax somewhat into his arms and little bit of comfort that she could take. A few minutes later she found herself wishing she could nearly sit on his lap because of the comfort and human touch that it provided and she scooted closer to the man. And boy did she need it.

She started off to it at a normal pace. Logan shrugged. "Alright, wherever works." He nodded, then started to follow her. "As long as there's no one there with an oversized ego and mouth that I'm going to get in a fight with, then I'm okay with wherever."

((Sorry for not being on much, I've been really busy. I'll try to reply sometime tonight or tomorrow morning to the Star Trek RP)) Logan nodded a little. "Sounds like it. It's only been a few weeks since I've had one too many. And I'm sure I'll react the same to it as i always do."

Kate raised an eyebrow, and looked back at the man. "And how is that?" Kate asked curious about the man who she was about to start this endeavor with.
(It's fine. And ok.)

Jim shifted slightly in his sleep, halfway awake. He was aware of the fact that he was halfway hanging off a bed that was slightly smaller than his own. He was also aware of the fact that there was someone next to him, smaller than him, laying on his arm. He was halfway holding the person, this he was aware of as well. Everything seemed distant, though. Sleep separated him from the world around him, so he didn’t seem to care about the feminine figure next to him.
The Vulcan nodded slightly in his sleep, his neck uncomfortably positioned on the couch. He was in a heavier sleep than James was, since he was not aware of the body next to him, and if he had been, he would not have been as comfortable with it as Jim was. After all, the captain and him had very different history when it came to the amount of times they had woken up next to someone. For Kirk, it was an old memory. Despite being uncomfortable, Spock slept soundly. Eventually, he slid down from his halfway sitting position, now laying down, probably disrupting the person next to him.
Cam slept softer than Spock, but a little heavier than Kirk. She wasn’t as aware of her surroundings. She knew she was in her room, where it was now dark because her lights had gone off, as they had in the other quarters. What she hadn’t noticed was the larger person beside her. At some point during the night, she had grabbed onto his arm, but it was likely she thought it was her pillow and not someone else’s arm.
(I kinda forgot where everyone was situated, like couch or bed or whatever, so I just tried to do what I remembered because I really didn’t want to look again, I’m sorry.
And I left Abby/Kirk open for the nightmare thing because I remember reading that somewhere-?
Sorry if this is rough, it’s been a while.)

Abby for the first time in a long time, slept for more than four hours in one span. She had curled herself into Jim's shoulder and body. However the peacefulness didn't last for long. Soon enough, a few tears escaped from her closed eyes following slight mumbling. It was then followed by slight twitching around which escalated somewhat into thrashing. Soon enough, she was hitting Jim every once in a while. Her mumblings turned into her unintelligible words.
T'Aimnu had been laying down. Once she felt the weight of someone else on her, she woke and saw Spock. She cautiously and gently pushed Spock off her. She tried to fall back asleep, but it didn't work. So she headed to grab her medication mat. She silently unrolled it and headed to her bathroom and changed into conservative pajamas. After that T'Aimnu settled on her mat and quickly dove into a very deep meditation. So deep that she wasn't aware of her surroundings and it would take some convincing to come out of. The female hadn't been this deep in some time.
Sometime in the night, McCoy had made sure that Cam was comfortable in her own bed. He knew he should have wandered back to his own quarters, but didn't. That was his first mistake. He eventually pulled Cam closer and wrapped a loose arm around her waist in a gentlemanly manner. With keeping a small amount of space between them. He really was only dosing off and on. When he was awake, McCoy had a lot on his mind, a lot more than normal. But he also watched Cam sleep.
(Right ok. We can do that and run with it. Do you just want to focuse on Abby and Jim till morning and then bring in everyone?
Don't worry, same with me.)

(Yeah, lets focus on them until the morning.)
Jim didn’t seem to notice her moving for some time, until it felt like she was hitting him. His eyes opened, a little surprised and still sleepy. He shifted back an inch or so, his hold loosening on her, but his arm on her stayed. He watched her thrash, trying to make out what she was saying. Finally, it registered that he was having a nightmare. He tightened his arms around her, trying to pull her closer. James figured he should wait for her to come out of it, so he held her almost stiffly, trying to absorb her movement.

{Sounds good.
How do you want to restart with Logan and Kate? Maybe have them run into each in or out of costume a few months later?}
With Jim pulling Abby closer, she paused for a moment, but only after fighting for a blink of eye. Her breathing was exceptionally heavy for a moment, her back to Jim's chest. But it only caused Abigail to thrash harder and voice to become louder, but the words made no sense. It made her nightmare worse and she was sort of still fighting Jim's hold on her mainly with her hands. If Jim wasn't careful, he would end up with some unexplainable bruises. It was completely illogical.

(Yeah, maybe in costume?)
Jim held onto her for a while. Finally, she got in a good hit to the inside of his elbow, and he winced and let go. He shifted away from her, pulling his arms off of her, trying to access the situation. He eventually decided to try and wake her. He grabbed her shoulders gently. “Abby.” He tried softly, then cleared his throat and tried again. “Abby.” A little louder this time.

{Sounds good. Do you mind starting? I've got nothing.}
Between the hands on the shoulders and her name, Abby froze for a moment. A bit of cold sweat had popped up on her skin. She scrambled away to sit ram-rod straight against the head of her bed. She briefly looked at Jim with a blank look in her eyes, like she didn't recognize him. But again, that only lasted for a moment before she hid her face in her lap with her knees and arms.

{If the next time you come on and still are on vacation, let me know when you're back.
Other than that, I have a bit of an idea of how we can start with Kate and Logan. It involved Kate being in over her head with a villain that she can't compete with because they are a better fighter, and so the villain ends hurting Kate. I think it might be interesting if it was Sabretooth. He could end up stabbing Kate somehow, after all, he would be the better fighter than Kate. Logan comes in all geared up and saves her from becoming a flayed speedster.)

(I got back yesterday, and I’ve been packing up for an architecture summer thing that’s gonna be 2 weeks, but a lot more indoors so I should be doing good. Thank you for being patient, I was legitimately in the wilderness for a while.
That’s a good idea! I think Sabretooth would be a nice touch. I can start that up, maybe have Logan having heard that Sabretooth was in town and was facing someone who fit Kate’s description.)

When Logan heard that Sabretooth was in town, he guessed why. So he prepared, staying mildly sober for a few days. He cleaned himself up a bit, ready for a new coat of dirt and blood. He was a bit surprised when he heard that someone else was after Sabretooth. Someone else? After that beast of a ‘man’? At this news, he relaxed. Sabretooth would be too busy killing someone to have anything to do with Logan for some time. So, Logan found himself at the bar once more. That’s when he heard murmurs about the person, a speedster who was probably in over her head. An all too familiar speedster. Surely it wasn’t her. Logan decided not to take a chance. He sobered up once more, then headed to the location those not so hushed voices in the bar had mentioned. He slipped into the structure, an abandoned apartment of three stories. Not long had he entered before he heard the scuffling sounds of a fight. A not so great fight by the sounds of it. He followed the huffing and clashing noises, letting his claws slide out.
