At that, Kate outright laughed. "Yea, well at this point, I'm just trying to get faster so the human eye... So that won't happen. Not that I'm training much really. It took some time after I woke up that for it to appear. And let me tell you. It was a heck of ride for them to appear." She shook her head, memories of the time coming back. "Then it took a couple of months for me to go through with the whole thing." "If you could become quicker, you'd be hard to defeat. Woke up? From what?" Logan sounded a little confused at that. "Yeah, it takes time to figure out what's what with your powers. Once you get the hand of it though, it becomes like breathing."

((Not really... What if each couple ended a different way-?))
Cam looked rather relieved when Bones agreed to her request. She nodded a little, glancing around. "Yeah, there's a break room nearby that isn't used often. My cabin is also near here." She shrugged.
Spock nodded at that. "Yes, I suppose we should be the 'adults' in this situation." He agreed, then added. "This area of the ship is a main passageway, perhaps we should go somewhere less public to discuss this."
Jim honestly looked confused to begin with. "No... We should go that way... We should definitely go that way... What do you mean by all that? What did you do out there?" He asked, looked puzzled and bothered by her comments. He quickly looked defensive when she spoke again. "Look, I get everything doesn't revolve around me." He muttered, then hesitantly added. "Besides... If it's not me... Who else could it be? That caused this change?" He went silent for a while after the chuckle. He looked at his feet in silence for a while, then eventually looked up again. "We... Could still have that..." He slowly began to look offended, and surprised, like the thought of him not being the main focus of a woman was a little surprising. "Well maybe I could help get the woman you used to be back, or at least make the woman you are now a little more like her." He fell silent once again, but only for a moment. "Then tell me the full story, so I can know who you are now."
Kirk watched her pretty much break apart, looking surprised once again. "You're... You're not broken. You've just been through... Things..." He watched her curl up, then hesitantly moved over to her bed, sitting next to her and putting a hand on her back, trying to comfort her.

"Well..." Kate started sheepishly, scratching her head slightly. "I was apparently in a coma for two months after the accident that caused my powers. "Suffice to say after that, my promising career was shattered from the accident. And I'm not sure about that, I mean I don't even know if poison still works on me, I know alcohol doesn't. I can't wait for that." She sighed.

{That sounds fine to me. }
Bones nodded. "That sounds fine to me, either of me. Though your quarters would probably better. I'd rather not have gossip get started. Lead the way and I'll follow." He motioned for her to lead the way to her quarters.
"Yes, my point. My quarters aren't far from here, if that is fine with you? I assume you wish to avoid prying eyes correct?" T'Aimnu stated, her arm pointing in the general direction.
Abby tensed slightly and relaxed a moment after James's hand was on her back. Her muscles were still already fairly tense. "James I don't want to, I can't... It's... Unless it's vital to what ever mission I'm on, it's a need to..." She sighed. "A need to know basis. And there was another..." She sighed, bringing her heels to the edge of her bed and put her chin on her knees. "Another guy. Let's say he was a rebound. We got close quick and nothing physical never really happened. Kept stringing me along. And left me off worse." Abby looked up at James with a fairly sad face and not quite doe eyes, slightly desperate in the eyes. "How? How can I? When I'm not even sure how it all happened. That I depended too much on two guys, that broke me and that started a whole chain of events that led me to here. What else would you say to what I am now at this moment? It's definitely not having been through things. That's you James, you and this ship that you're almost married to." She murmured.

{Quick plot not very well thought out for the ST part. They get sent on a mission far out of Fed territory, they go to a bar get information, Kirk is jealous. And some how they get stuck in a interplanetary war, or maybe gun fight and then Kirk finds out about her being a Commander maybe and then maybe how she was apart of Section 31? We could do the human turn dog plot first.}

(I'm so sorry that yet again I disappeared. School and Band made my life really busy and my iPod's Safari didn't work for the longest time. My computer is pretty trashy. I think I've fixed it though. I don't know if you want to continue this, but I would like to if you would. )

It's fine. I'm glad your back. It's been quite lonely.
And about the computer, I understand that. Actually any day, my old laptop will go out when I use it to get old info that couldn't transfer from my new laptop. So I understand it. But next time, I'd like it if you could let me know before you poof off. Just go off of my last reply and see how it goes. IF it doesn't go well, we can see from there.}

(Ah sorry man.. Yeah, I've had my computer for about four years now and my mom used it once and somehow downloaded a mess of pop-ups and an assortment of viruses, so it's not in the best of shape. Next time I'll download Chrome or use a friends phone or something to contact you, I'm sorry about that. And I'll write up a reply right now.)

Alcohol not working on someone seemed both impossible and depressing.

Cam nodded a little. "Yeah, I think rumors are the last thing all of us need right now..." She muttered, then headed towards her quarters. It wasn't too far away, so they got there quickly. The woman opened the door when they got there and walked in, moving out of the doorway to let McCoy in after her. The place was already a mess, despite her not being there for long. It may have been from the process of unpacking, or from how she never attempted to organize her living space. "I..." Cam didn't know how to start. She didn't know how to begin to apologize. "I'm sorry... I don't know why I did it... There's no excuse... I should've tried to talk to you more often... But..." She tried to think of a defense, but none came to mind. "I did give... Some effort...?" As she said it, she knew that barely had any backing to it.
"Yes. I doubt uninvolved individuals becoming aware of our situations would benefit any of this." Spock nodded. "Lead the way."
Jim felt Abby tense under his hand and glanced away very briefly, somewhat afraid she would completely pull away from his touch. He immediately focused on her when she began to speak. When she said it was need to know, he opened his mouth to try and convince her that he needed to know. Then he heard another guy and stiffened. Another guy? Was he not good enough to be waited for? Then he heard rebound and that kept his pride in tact. Then he began to feel defensive, especially when he heard that the other guy made her worse. How dare some rebound hurt Abby? What right did he have? How dare he even consider himself good enough to be in a relationship with Abby, let alone string her along? James saw the look on her face when she finally met his eyes. It hurt him more than he expected. He had done this to her, this was his fault. Sure, some other guy got involved and did more damage, but he started this. "Because... Things were different. That other guy is scum, and hopefully you'll never see him again. And... I've changed. I'll never do this to you again, Abby. I never realized how much this could hurt you... I never want to hurt you again. I know that me changing now doesn't change the past, but I just want to reverse some of the damage. Even if you're a different person in the end, I just... Don't want you to hurt anymore.."

"Lab accident. Yea, trust me, not the most pleasant of things." Kate sighed. "What, you think I haven't tried? I can drink everyone under the table. I'm more worried about my liver not being quick enough to heal itself from the damaged I tried to do it when I first woke up." Kate sighed, with a shrug. "It's the truth. My friend told me he could start working on something for me, if I just said the word." She shrugged again with a slight frown.
{Guess it didn't go through.}

McCoy followed Cam, and then entered her quarters with a sigh, his head on his chest. He would have sat down, but he didn't want to disrupt her mess, and just walked to the end of her quarters. "You know, sorry won't fix the situation. It won't be for any of our situations Cam." He sighed, lifting his head ever so slightly, looking at Cam from the top of his eyesight. "Only trying, building trust and time can fix it. Even then in one of three cases, I'm not sure it can be fixed. I'm just a doctor, but with Abby and Kirk. There has got to be a lot of leaps and bounds before anything happens." He stated, avoiding their own situation for as long as possible. He wasn't even sure what there was to say in the first place. Or if there was something to stay, he didn't know how to say.
"Indeed." T'Aimnu nodded and started off a slightly slower pace than normal and had her hands behind her much like Spock would. Soon enough, the Vulcan opened her door and waited for Spock to walk in and she followed. "So, where do we start? She asked. "Do you want a refreshment?" She added, making her a cup of tea.
Abby once more could feel the sting of unshed tears and that brought on heated shame which only led to her tears escaping her eyes, down her cheeks. "How James? How? How can I? I'm not sure I even know how to trust during missions, outside of that. And how can I believe you? I'm not sure the damage can be reversed." Abby added softly. She closed her eyes and seemed to nearly shrink into herself, tightening her grip around her knees to bring them even closer than they were previously. Abby sort of realized her behavior was slightly childish, and that made her feel worse. "James, I just don't know. My career is my life now." She admitted in a very small and quiet voice, having put her head on her knees and turned her face to look in the direction of the man near her. She zoned for a few moment, looking past James and then rested her forehead on her knees. " I just don't know anything anymore. I just don't. I don't know." She murmured.
{We have got to figure out how they end up, all three groups. I can see Abby and Kirk ending it three ways. Him hugging until she falls asleep and maybe she has a nightmare and he stays the night and watches over her, him walking out to process the new info. Them kissing and go down the -opps that was a complete mistake route-, or some combination of that. For the other two I don't have clear ideas..
Heads up, sorry about the shorter posts. Lately, I've been rping with partners who post one liners general and that completely takes away my muse. This post took well over three hours to type, then again about an hour of it was spent with my attention elsewhere. Hopefully rping with you, it will bring it back and make it easier to post longer posts and take less time.
Also, I'm already starting to think up of plots we could use from the Orville.}

"Oh... Wow. Sorry about that." Logan muttered, not knowing if he should bring up his own past in an attempt to relate or not. "Seriously? I can't imagine not being affected by alcohol." He snorted a little. "I can't decide between considering that a miracle or depressing. Do you ever want alcohol that did work?"
(Probably. Sorry about that, my safari is probably still working slow or something)

Cam found it hard to look McCoy in the eye. She glanced around her quarters, almost like she would much rather prefer messing with something than having this conversation. So she started to slowly organize some things on a table. "I know... I just... I don't know what else to say, because I am sorry. I regret it..." She said, softer than usual, obviously feeling guilty. She glanced over at McCoy, meeting his eyes briefly before looking away. "Maybe time can heal some of the damage?" She suggested, trying to sound hopeful. "That's true... That... That..." Cam found herself suddenly getting mad and having to stop herself from relating their captain to a donkey. "Whatever that... Man did to Abby, whatever happened with that, that's going to take time to heal... A lot of it... And him changing too... Because she's changed.." She stopped situating her things at that point, obviously trying not to brew on how Kirk had hurt her friend. She eventually let out a sigh and met the others eye once more. "I know what I did probably changed you too... I... I'm sorry. I know that's just a word, but I am. I didn't ever tell you I was being moved back here because... I was afraid... Of this... I guess... Of hurting you, and of seeing how much I had hurt you..."
Spock followed a step behind her, his own hands also behind his back. He followed her into her quarters and took a few steps in. After being offered the beverage, he nodded, remembering how Jim had told him to accept any refreshments a host was offering to be polite. "Do you have any ideas on how to fix our... Current situation?" He asked, finally deciding to refer to the mess they were in as a 'current situation'. He was referring to their friends predicaments of course, not their own. He did not want to discuss their own, and wasn't very sure how to.
James had to look away for a moment when he saw the new tears. He may not have been the one that was hurt, but this was definitely hurting him. "Did you trust me before? Maybe... Maybe that trust will come back. You have to know I'd never purposely hurt you, Abby... And maybe the damage can't be reversed, but maybe some time without anymore damage could help fix some of it...?" When he looked back at Abby, he saw how she had seemed to nearly shrink into herself. She seemed so small and breakable. And Jim knew he had broken her. "But... Isn't there any room left for anything else?" He was slowly losing hope. Eventually, he sighed and rubbed her back a little, softly, in an attempt to comfort her. "I know... Maybe we just need time to figure this all out..."
(Maybe like a combo for them? And Spock and T'Aimnu may come to some kind of solution, or an attempt at a solution, to help everyone. Idk about McCoy and Cam. Any ideas?
I haven't been rping like at all recently, so my muse may phase out a little here and there. So I understand man, and hopefully rping with you may help.
Okay, yeah! I love the Orville, so that would be great.)

(It's completely fine.)
Kate gave a not committal shrug and leaned against a corner. "I've lived like this for this long. There were a few times in the very beginning that I wished it could have worked. To numb what was going on at the time. The first few times that I couldn't save someone. And then a fews times closer to the present." She replied, thinking back to then. Kate took a moment to come back to the present and looked back at the man in front of her.

Logan hesitated for a moment, then nodded a little, almost looking grim. "I probably numb myself to reality too much for my own good... Thankfully, my liver isn't shot yet." He shrugged a little. "Maybe we could have a contest sometime, I mean, I hold my liquor better than anyone I know. Maybe you just haven't had a good drinking partner yet." He knew she would almost definitely beat him in that event, but he thought the offer may lighten the mood.

Kate's jaw dropped slightly. "Are you kidding me? I haven't did one of those since my second actual year of college." Kate laughed. "You would totally loose and truly mean it. And I don't think it has to do with whether or not I've had a good drinking partner in a while." She laughed once more with a shake of her head.

"Well. If you're were worried about that, it would have been smarter to tell me." McCoy gruffed out. "Time will only tell how she heals and how much he helps in that process. By now it's only beginning to sink in how much she has changed. And how much he has had a hand in that change." He added. "There's not much you can do to help or get back at him for this." McCoy sighed. By this time, he was looking at the ground in thought and wondered how the other conversations were going at the moment.
(I think the two best episodes we could use the plot of would be of the series final or Cupid's Dagger.
Nope no idea.)
T'Aimnu nodded and handed Spock a cup of tea. From there she took her cup sat on her couch, looking at her cup."That I do not know. The only item that comes to mind is time to heal old wounds and then some to spend to reacquint with each other. And then for one of us to become the model for the others." T'Aimnu nodded, unfortunately meaning that her and Spock needed to be the model for the group. She took a sip and let out the equivalent of a Vulcan sigh.
Abby gave a small almost invisible shrug. She couldn't answer whether or not she trusted him fully and she really didn't want to answer. A few moments later, subconsciously she leaned back into his touch, which did help to calm her ever so much. James could feel how tense she was and how the time away had harden her and her body. Even though once in a while there was a slight, but silent shaking of her shoulders. "Dang time, that's the last thing..." She murmured, forehead still resting on her knees. Abby frankly didn't want to have Kirk even see her like this whatsoever.

"You still would have been like this about it, even if I told you sooner. I wish I had now though, because then you would only be mad about me not staying in contact. Now you're mad at me for this too." Cam sighed, rubbing her head a little, somewhat frustrated with herself and the situation. "If he helps at all..." She grumbled, still obviously mad at Kirk. "I just hope that he doesn't hurt her or change her anymore..." She went silent for a while, then sat down in a chair with some space on it. She stayed silent for a while, thinking about everything that was going on, before laughing almost sadly and rubbing her head. "This all really is a mess, isn't it?" She looked up at McCoy, smiling briefly before losing it and glancing away. "Everyone's changed..."
(Those both would be good plots. Cupids Dagger would probably be a bit more funny, or at least has room to be. It would probably have more drama too. The Season Finale would probably have more action/decisions for the characters. Either one of those work for me.)
(And should McCoy/Cam end nicely or should there be a fight? I feel like with those two it could go either way. Like it could end all nice and happy and all, or it could end with a lot of yelling and something being thrown or some mess. What do you think would be best, because I can work with either and don't really care.)
"Thank you." Spock nodded and took the cup of tea. He watched her sit at the couch, then followed behind and sat in a chair nearby. He took a sip from the cup as he listened, watching her. He nodded again at the mention of time. It seemed like the overall best solution to him. "Model?" He thought about that for a moment, now glancing at his own cup. "I don't believe Jim and Abby would be the best models, since they seem to be the worse off. And Doctor McCoy and Cam are rather unpredictable, their current state of relations could be anything. We would best suit the others as a model, if we come to an understanding on why we decreased contact between each other over time and overlook the past."
Jim honestly looked kind of offended when she didn't reply to his question of trust. "They gave me a ship..." He muttered, almost to himself, as a weak defense as to why she should trust him. The look of offense disappeared when she almost leaned into him. He instead looked relieved, but that was quickly replaced with the worry from before when he realized how tense she was. He began to realize even the woman's body had changed. She had changed from the mission, from him, from the other guy. Abby was not the Abby that James had known before. Or at least, not the same exact Abby. He hoped there was still some of her left, deep down, but he was beginning to lose hope in that. "It just may work... If nothing else, it may just make the person you are now a little happier, even if you don't change to who you were before... Wouldn't you at least like to be happier...?" The shaking in her shoulders became noticable to him and made him worry more. He hated seeing Abby like this.

{Yep, agreed.
With as much grief as we've given them, I think we should go the nicer route at least.}
"You don't know how I would have reacted if you would have told me Cam." McCoy sighed, shaking his head. "It really is, really truly is messed. And to know for the most part half of the group instigated this whole thing, is beyond what I consider stupid and reckless at least in Jim's case. And for the most part it is for the worse, with Abby. Don't get me wrong, a small portion of this would have be great for her, at least her career taking off is good for her." Bones shrugged. "I'm just a doctor, not a psychologist." He muttered aloud.
T'Aimnu raised an eyebrow and took another sip of tea. "Spock, I was talking about us being the model. As we are the only logical choices as everything is going change. As change will have to be to have be apart of the healing process for the humans, given the emotional trauma they put the others through. And if my memory serves me right, I tried contacting you, but you slowed correspondence over time and then stopped. Why is that?" If she had been human, she would have sounded suspicious and slightly jealous. But as a Vulcan, it only sounded curious and even let out a slight bit of emotion. That emotion being sadness even then it was barely perceivable even for Spock.
"James. Please, just stop, I'm not sure. I've told you. I don't know. Just leave, I'll be fine for duty and be appropriate when the time comes in." Abby murmured, tired of crying in front of someone. Even though her words said otherwise, she truly needed and required the human contact. In her time away, between everything that was going on, she'd been starved of human physical contact. Part of it was on purpose. And the other was accidental. Most of the time it wasn't practical to get close to anyone. Even then, she was trying to get over stuff from the past.
