(a draft is saved sometimes, but it rarely saves the full posts.)
Seraphina walked into her office and sat down at her desk, fixing her gloves as she sat down. Her eyes narrowed as she moved most of her files to one side, except for her journal that she often used for drawing designs. Sighing softly, she flipped it open in waiting for the other files, looking at the different doll designs she had made since taking over the company. Some of the first designs had ugly black lines across them, designs she had disliked and drawn poorly from the beginning. These designs were ones from when she had attempted to repeat her mother's doll creation, but had failed miserably, as she still had those dolls in her workshop. The ones that had managed to be created and put on the shelves, didn't sell nearly as well as her newer models did.
Mira came in with one of the butlers, both carrying boxes that Seraphina had asked for. "Thank you Mira." She said as she spotted the maid, who bowed and disappeared with the butler. Getting up, she picked up one of the boxes and set it on her desk, coughing as dust got everywhere, "wow, these have not seen the light of day in a long while." She muttered, sneezing repeatedly before she could even get a file out of the box.

(Bleh, just save a draft already and stop making me retype everything!)
Seraphina glared at Scarlet as she spoke, taking files out of the boxes and opening them up to start reading them. "Allergies? Don't be so foolish, I don't have an allergies." She muttered, even though she knew she did. While she didn't have asthma, she did often fall into sneezing and coughing fits due to pollen and dust, though she would never admit it herself. A weakness, she often mumbled under her breath, something that would not stop her. "I do not need another reason to have those snobs of noblemen laughing in my face once again." She added, reading through one of the files.

Seraphina shook her head, "no Scarlet, I don't feel like being investigated because I'd be the only noble still alive." She said, glancing at her demon companion before looking back down at her files. She tried to remember some of the things her parents had done during such events, though her memory was fuzzy because the last one she remembered, she had been just barely a teenager. She remembered it had been a ball, where she had picked out a suitor to be her fiancee, and while she had not cared for the man in the concept of love, she did like him as a human being. She still missed him to a small degree, but she knew there was no saving him, he was dead before she had met Scarlet.
Shaking her head, she returned to the files. She closed the current one and opened a new one, starting to sort out what information she may need, and what she knew she would not need. "The mansion is a fairly small location, but the grounds around the mansion are quite expansive. If we use the grounds as the main event location and perhaps the ballroom for dinner, I'm confident we'd have the room required." She muttered to herself, tapping her fingers on her desk.

Seraphina nodded slightly, listening to Scarlet speak as she read through the files. "I believe somewhere in here, or maybe Mira has a simplified list, of entertainment that had previous connections to my parents." She said, reaching up to brush her hair from her face, looking at the black strands streaked with silver and blue tints. "This shall be a grande event, one that no one should forget. I will not be taken as mockery anymore, and they'd be smart to remember that so." She said, stepping away from the box and sitting down in her chair again, smirking pleasantly. Her eyes lit up like a child on Christmas, fixing her skirt as she debated on what type of tea she would want to taste in the morning.

Seraphina looked over at Scarlet before sighing softly and sitting down again, "yes, speaking of that foolish mockery of a human male, what has he done with those files?" She asked, clasping her hands together on her desk and seeming calm, even though at the moment she felt like she wanted Jonas had overused his stay in the mortal realm. She did not want to hear any bad news, but felt like bad news was going to be coming her way, since Scarlet did not provide the files upon her return.

"Is that so?" Seraphina asked, thinking about what her demon maid had told her about the missing files. Someone is possibly stealing case files huh? Why would someone need to do such a thing? She thought to herself, thinking about what this could mean. "While I care not for his other clients, look into this matter Scarlet. If something comes of those files, it could look bad on the Dollson family name, and we do not need the police coming here to investigate what we are doing." She said softly, shaking her head as she thought about it. While she didn't care so much if she ruined her own name, she wished to keep the Dollson name clean even though she was the last Dollson alive.

(My apologies for not replying sooner, it's been a busy week.)
Seraphina glanced over at Scarlet and smiled lightly, "very well, then you know what you are to do. As it is getting late, I will be calling it a night as of now." She said as she stood up from her desk, dusting off her dress to remove some of the dust that may have gotten on it from the boxes. Once she finished that, she turned and started out of the room, wanting nothing more to do with planning and preparing for a rather long week ahead of her. All she could hope for was a break thanks to the Queen, a case that could cure some of her boredom and give her muse for her next line of dolls.

Seraphina tilted her head back slightly to look at Scarlet, not saying anything for a moment. After her silence, she sighed softly, "very well, I suppose I can use some time to relax before the nightmare begins." She muttered softly, rubbing at her face with her arm.
(Probably, where should we skip to though?)

(Maybe to them getting ready for the party? I think for the first while the Jonas case would be quite boring with simple questions and stakeouts.)

(Okay!)
Scarlet made her way through the garden. The party Seraphina was stressing over was tomorrow night, and everything needed to be in its proper place this evening. Otherwise, they would have too much to worry about tomorrow. The gardeners were hard at work, trimming the grass and bushes, weeding the flower beds, and placing lights and decorations around the trees and walk ways. All in all, everything was coming together nicely. "Put those lanterns just a bit higher, James," she called out to one of the newer additions to the staff, a small boy in his later teens.
"Yes, Miss Scarlet," James replied from his perch in the tree. He had excellent climbing skills which meant he had volunteered to be the one to hang the paper lanterns throughout the garden.
Nodding in approval, the demon made her way back into the house to check on the food. Many of the items to be severed at the party wouldn't be cooked until the morning, but she wanted to be sure the chefs would have everything they needed to create everything on the menu they had put together.

While Scarlet walked around the garden, Seraphina currently remained on the porch, both to remain out of the way of her attendants and to be out of the wind as she worked. Sitting in her favorite rocking chair, the one her father used to sit in to read her stories as a child, she busied herself drawing pictures in her sketchbook. All the designs were of dolls, some having already been created, and the newer ones being ideas for her next line. She was being patient in waiting for another case from the Queen, but it was also making her restless as well, because without the supplies she needed, she couldn't create anything new.
"Perhaps in this lull period I will speak with the Undertaker and see if he has had any unexplained bodies as of recent." She murmured to herself, setting her sketchbook on a table beside her before picking up a cup of tea to sip. She watched the decorations be placed, the attendants scurrying around like mice trying to avoid the cat in a barn. She glanced towards the new attendant, seeing that he appeared to be doing well, she turned her attention back to the decorations before getting to her feet, setting her cup down.

Seraphina rolled her eyes as she glanced over at Scarlet, giving a small smirk at the demon's remark about the Undertaker. "Come now Scarlet, you know as well as I that I am not interested in the bodies of the already deceased. Despite that, one of those bodies may very well have a story to tell, or a misfortune that has yet to be solved." The young Countess hummed softly as she watched the servants scurry around the outside of the mansion, though sometimes her eyes would fall on one in particular. "You never know, a simple hidden case that has yet to make it to the Queen may have some delightful results, and it would be such a shame for one of my dear attendants to go missing without a word of why." She said softly, though her tone suggested that it had been done before.

"I am well aware of your opinions of such matter; however her Majesty has not come to us in well over a month, and I am sure some customers are already complaining that nothing new has arrived on the shelves as of yet." Seraphina said as she started to walk down the steps of the porch the check on the progress of the garden herself. She waved off many of the maids who attempted to come and speak with her, telling them they'd be more productive my simply continuing with their work. "Perhaps after the party, I believe I will take a trip to see him myself. It's been quite a while since I have spoken with him personally, and I do still wait for the day where he slips up and does something oh so detestable," she grinned at the thought, reaching up to brush her hair behind her ear as she imagined what she could do with such lovely long white hair. "I'm sure a reaper would make a wonderful new doll in the collection."

Scarlet followed her. Of course, she was always thinking of the company. Everything revolved around it, but Scarlet wasn't one to judge motives. After all, the only reason she was here was for the amusement of it all. "Of course, m'lady," she said. "I would imagine that we will be needing to put out a new collection of dolls before the upcoming holiday season. I will try and find some more suitable models for you to inspect." As far as the reaper went, she didn't have the eye for marking the makings of a good doll. To her, he wouldn't be the ideal model. However, the demon was ore than aware of Seraphina's talent at her craft. The young girl would no doubted find a way to make a very lovely doll from him.

(He'd certainly make for a good halloween doll XD)
Seraphina glanced over at her doll-like maid before she continued walking through the garden, inspecting everything that was going on around them. "Scarlet, have you checked on the new outfits for the maids and butlers today? I shall not be the only one wearing new attire for this event." She asked, hands clasped together in front of her as she looked at everyone. "Many high-ranked nobles will be attending, and I do not wish for hands to be stained red because some insolent fool spoke foul words about my nobility status." She hummed softly as she thought about it. Only one or two of the noblemen provided her with any interest, many old and weighed more than they should. Even their souls would not make good bases, she always said, tossing many attempted sketches in the trash as she had tried to create something based on one of the noblemen.

(Dolls don't creep me out, I find most of them enchanting, save for a few odd cases)
"Is that so? Well, as long as they arrive on time, I will not say much about it." Seraphina said as she stopped by one of the small rose gardens, her eyes partially closed as she imagined her father sitting on his knees tending to the crimson petals. "Everyone is to remain on high alert for tomorrow as well. There is another young noble, barely older than I, coming to this event as well. I did some investigating, and I fear he may belong to the recent influx of demons in England." She added, turning to look at Scarlet with troubled eyes, wringing her hands in front of her. "The recent increase in previously kidnapped noble children who have arrived with an unknown person at their side worries me, especially ever since Earl Phantomhive disappeared."
