dune!! my favorite tribe child!!
maybe o; prob get a better sense of a few extra characters & the territory, though, just so we're prepared
here's an idea of the territory & the clan -almost like a wetland- in the middle of a delta, with lots of mangrove trees & wetland forest. stormclan has fish as their main meal, but they don't mind other wildlife. they're very used to moving around in both the water and among the trees. recently dealt with disease and an enemy band of rouges that wanted their territory. many cats look up to their leader, fogstar, for guiding them through these times.
a few cats i might rp;;
fogstar - leader of stormclan scarred calico she-cat with green eyes. jaded and cautious. three lives left.
otterstrike - stormclan medicine cat sleek brown she-cat with blue eyes. to-the-point and serious. only recently became a medicine cat after the former one died.

- - Dune, Cricket, && Berry Night time was approaching rapidly, as the sun began setting. It was a beautiful time of evening to be out in the open, the warm air blowing through their fur. The Tribe of Windswept Sands knew traveling was a great way to see their world, to explore and find new places. Eventually, they'd end up finding a place to call their own, but for now it was roaming. Each cat of the tribe knew this, they loved it as much as she did. The Teller of Changing Dunes, or Dune for short, was their leader and healer. They all respected her and her newfound apprentice, Bloom of Quiet Lily. The little tom had stuck out to her, she'd chosen him from birth. He kept to her side like glue, trying to learn her ways. The milky colored tabby enjoyed the little to-be's presence. As they wandered over the ground, she'd began to notice to salty scent in the air and the aroma of other cats. They weren't like her tribe, they were a close knit family of a sort. They weren't to the line where it smelled like them the most. That was coming up. Carefully, she stopped and turned back to her Tribe. The she could see the light in their eyes, excitement.
"We are approaching another ones territory. I need all eyes and ears open, keep the to-be's in the middle. Older warriors, on the outside." She called, her tail held high and her chin up. She then turned back around, resting her tail lightly over Blooms' back. "Stay near me," she murmured to him. He was almost like a son to her, even though she knew he had a mother and a brother. Dune carefully scanned the area as she continued forward, passing the little boundary. She hadn't realized it was a border. "Dune?" A strong voice called from the back, one she knew by Cricket. "Are you sure this is a good place to be? It might be too dangerous." He advised. He was an older tribe member and she respected his opinion. She smiled and turned her head, shaking it. "We'll be okay." She assured.
However, something up ahead caught her eye, and immediately she let her posture straighten, her tail waving in signal to stop. "What's going on?" A small tortoiseshell she-cat piped up, worry in her tone. Little Berry had always been one to be nervous. "Hush," she murmured, laying her tail over her to-be.
"Who goes there?" A growl cut through the air like glass. A shiver ran down her spine. Worry creased her gaze as she took a step back. "Simply some travelers," she said strongly as a dusky grey tom emerged with a few cats behind him. The cats that emerged were varying in color, one being a light brown dappled she and another being a pure black tom. A large brown tom followed with a smaller dark blue one. The air stood still. "Why are you on our lands?" The grey tom, presumably a higher up rank than the others, questioned. "We're traveling through. We mean no harm." Dune bowed her head, respectfully. "That's what the last group said. We aren't taking chances. You need to leave." He growled back, his tail flicking anxiously.
She glanced back to see her tribe huddled together, almost squishing some of the poor to-be's in the middle. "We could bring them to camp as prisoners?" The brown tom mewed, tilting his head. "Fogstar could interrogate them and make sure they aren't a threat?" This seemed to be a good idea to the grey tom. "Swiftstep, go run and warn the camp. Tell Fogstar we have some... visitors joining us." The tom chuckled at that, waving his tail. "Follow me." Dune had been taught not to follow random strangers, but this was her tribes life at paw. She had to protect them.
She glanced back, caught Crickets eye and a few others before nodding. "Let's go." She mewed, dipping her head and waving her tail, following after the strange tom and the rest of the new cats.
[[ hope this is okay c:

swiftstep & fogstar .. border to stormclan camp
Their land was the delta, the wetland forest- and the patrol out near dusk could feel the ground under their paws as they traversed the land. Across rivers and streams, no matter if they had to swim or if they walked over, through the damp ground. It was never completely dry, but they trusted the territory- it never led them astray if they knew how to deal with any unexpected happenings.
The only thing out of the ordinary was a scent...multiple scents drifting on the wind towards them. Instantly the patrol was alert and moving faster, although cautious. The rouge attack moons ago had left many wounded, some dead, and everyone a bit paranoid. What if they had allies or friends that wanted to avenge their dead? It left one cat in the patrol- Pantherclaw- growling quietly already as they booked it towards the edge of their territory. He was already ready to fight for their home again, he always had been since then. One of the most paranoid of them all after the incident, he was impatient to get to the border- and only a look from their deputy was able to settle him down as they approached the border to find a small group of cats huddled together.
For the most part, the patrol stayed quiet as their deputy talked to the group. Pantherclaw kept flexing his claws, glaring, while Swiftstep observed the newcomers with a slight frown- a bit behind them, Cranepaw glanced uncertainly between the group and their patrol. There weren't too many cats in the newcomer's group unless there were some they couldn't see well in the middle or back, but their patrol had less cats- and a soft sigh came out when their leader agreed to follow them to camp. Crisis averted.
Swiftstep gave a quick nod before darting off on one of the fastest ways back to camp. The network of streams and rivers had routes both easy, difficult, and anywhere in-between- only the most skilled could traverse the most difficult. She had taken the fastest route available, one that most wouldn't dare to go- but she knew how. It would get her back to camp much quicker than the group being led by Owlstrike at a moderate pace, and to Fogstar the quickest.
Back at camp, she spotted her leader talking quietly with their medicine cat. She winced quietly but ran up to the two of them, breaking their conversation to talk.
"Swiftstep? Why are you here? I thought you were with the dusk patrol?" Fogstar sounded surprised even as a look appeared in her eyes- it seemed that she suspected what Swiftstep was going to tell her. With a frown, the dappled brown she-cat dipped her head and started to speak softly.
"Fogstar, a group has been found at our border. Owlstrike is leading them back to camp as we speak, most likely a while away- I'd say they'll be here in half an hour. I rushed as fast as I could." She looked away and waited for a response.
Fogstar frowned deeply. The weight on her shoulders seemed to get deeper with every second- her long sigh followed as she stood up. "Otterstrike, Swiftstep, please wake any members of the Clan that are asleep. We must be strong- and in case if anything goes wrong we can all fight," she said dryly. As they rushed to do what she said she sighed and perched on a branch of the most impressive tree nearby.
Their camp was partially situated within a twisted group of mangrove trees and on the bank nearby. The river never flooded- it was a particularly deep river with the mangroves providing protection, but the extra space the bank provided was crucial as well as being their main area. The mangrove area was where the warriors and apprentices slept- while the leader's den, nursery, elder's den, and medicine cat's den were on the bank. The tree she was on was above her own den, too- and she watched over the area while waiting for the new group, as cats made their way into the large open area to nervously await their...visitors.
She looked every inch of the responsible, dutiful leader that she was.

Dune && Owlstrike - - stormclan camp As they traveled through the wet and damp forest, Dune kept her eyes peeled for any signs of attack. She could sense her tribes worry; their fur prickling at every little movement. She'd gotten them in this mess and she felt bad. What if they couldn't survive this? If they were being led into an attack, she couldn't do anything, no one could save them. They were a small tribe, a few to-bes and a few tribe cats. It was just them. Would they really be a threat to this.. group? Even Dune wasn't sure what to call it. Hopefully, this 'Fogstar' knew how to explain themself and knew that they were innocent. None of her cats were too experienced with fighting, only skirmishes. They'd left their original home- back when Dune was a little one- due to a natural disaster. She'd been raised with traveling, they'd even found a temporary home a while back. When the last Teller died, she decided to travel with her tribe again.
Within a half hour, they were at the large clearing. She could see cats littering the sides of the.. camp.. and they seemed anxious. The scene was tense but she watched the dusky brown tom pad up to a large tree. That's when Dune looked up, seeing a scarred calico, and immediately thought she was beautiful. But those feelings subsided as she saw the look in her eyes. Dune respectfully dipped her head, her tail waving carefully. Owlstrike leaped up onto the same branch as before, murmuring something into his leaders ear. "Found them at the border. Prisioners of ours.. they say they're passing through but with that rouge attack a few moons back.. I don't trust it." He perched himself next to his leader, his eyes glaring down at the Tribe.
Dune looked up at the leader, her blue eyes worried. She really wasn't sure what was going to happen to her tribe, if they would be okay. "My name is The Teller of Changing Dunes, otherwise Dune for short. This is my tribe, the Tribe of Windswept Sands. We simply are traveling through, we mean no harm. I apologize on behalf of my tribe if we crossed any borders." She mewed respectfully, her eyes locked on Fogstar.
Tansypath, a sweet and motherly cat, emerged from the nursery, her tail wrapped around a rambunctious kit by the name of Applekit. She lowered her head, murmuring a quick scold to him and he immediately settled down. Antpaw, who was her son, quickly darted over and sat in front of his mother, glaring at the tribe cats.
As Dune gazed around, she found it sweet that these cats would do anything to protect one another. Their group was tight knit, and obviously didn't accept outsiders. Her tribe would protect one another at all costs, especially the younger cats. Cricket padded up beside her, pressing his flank against hers. It was reassuring that the larger tom was comforting her. The other cats in her group still seemed a bit wary. Rightfully so, but with a small wave of her tail she maneged to get one message across. "Stay alert, but relax. Don't show fear."
Owlstrike gazed down at them, not saying a word. He'd let Fogstar take care of that. He glanced over, seeing Tansypath out of the den with Applekit, worried if the tribe cats would attack. That wouldn't happen but he just wasn't sure. None of them were.
