((-Muffled evil cackling from a distance- It starts... The vile crush on the hideously apathetic, yet incredibly attractive Shecat... Time to have some fun. >:3))
"Certainly, no one will judge you for your behavior." Violetsky chimed, picking up her pace and falling between the two of them, matching Sootsage paw for paw. She kept her gaze forward, focused on Pyreflare and Leafripple as they broke into another scuffle a few feet ahead. "Speaking of apprentincehood, that era brought nothing but trouble, didn't it?" Her ear twitched.
"What do you mean?" Zapstrike chuckled.
"Well, I've been accosted by random happenstances of mischief that have lead me into some unfavorable situations to say the least..." She mumbled adding in some extra large words to make her sentence just a tad less understandable.
"What...? Oh! Are you talking about that one time you got in trouble pranking our mentors?!" Zapstrike gasped as the memory flooded back to him.
"Actually, I was referring to the time you stuck the blame on me for you 4 pranking them..." She glared at her brother, whom flinched back and nervously laughed.
"To be fair though! We'd pin the blame on you even if we WEREN'T apprentices, Violetsky!" Pyreflare called back.
"Of course you would..." Her tail flicked in annoyance.
Zapstrike purred and peeked around Violetsky to see Sootsage again. "What was the dumbest antic you ever got into as an apprentice, Sootsage?" As they chittered and chattered they slowly made their way deeper into the territory, birds fluttering by overhead and the ground underneath slowly turning from dead oaks, to fallen pine as they reached closer to the river.

Truthwatcher// Truthwatcher nodded, and saw him struggle up the tree. As she watched, she decided that she was definitely not doing that. She quietly made her way around Darkheart, careful to keep silent and trying to keep herself from stepping on twigs. She barely made her way around, taking quick shelter behind a tree to keep Darkheart from noticing her. (I like that idea, cause it gets them into even more trouble. Truthwatcher will end up being the one unharmed, and probably the one taking the most blame which works.)
Rainpool // Truthwatcher // Darkheart
Rainpool focused his gaze on Darkheart and Truthwatcher as his friend made her way around her sister, on surprisingly stealthy paws. Once Truthwatcher was in position, he flicked his tail slightly, trying to grab her attention.

Truthwatcher nodded in understanding. She let out a low growl, then a flood of barking, acting like a dog. She leaped out at her sister suddenly. Her barking wasn't that good, but it should have been enough to get the job done.

Ostrichkit froze as he heard what Shallowkit had said- he knew, even with one glance, that he'd probably gotten Ghostkit in trouble with her brother. In trouble with her brother- how ridiculous. No one should ever be in trouble with their manipulative brother. He thought warily, his gaze focused on the ground, his ears perked for Shallowkit's next move, anything.
Tansykit was never in trouble with him. Well, no she wasn't in trouble with him. But she definitely got in trouble with him plenty of times.
Ears flaming, Ostrichkit mentally scolded himself. He should've known.

Steven Universe is great too~ I notice a lot of things that they have in common with each other. Mainly how Peridot and Karkat are the same being. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Don't even get me started I swear I will blow up this page with love.))

A streak of ashen fur slinked out from behind the nearest tree, paws quiet as he moved forward. One step...then another. His eyes looked on his prey as it waited innocently in the open. A plump water vole nibbled on a seed, unable to hear his paw steps over the sound of running water. It suspected nothing! Crouching low, Wolfjaw wiggled his haunches for a heartbeat or two before springing with his paws outstretched. With a joyous cry, he sunk his claws into his target and pulled it closer so he could sink his teeth into it. It went still and the warrior dropped it on the dirt.

Ghostkit's final decision surprised even Shallowkit. She glanced up at him, with the first small glint of defiance to her fear of her brother in her pale blue eyes. She then turned and darted over to Ostrichkit's nest, refusing to turn around for fear of what she might see.
Shallowkit was shocked at his sister, and his eyes narrowed slightly. He would probably do something later just to remind her who's the stronger of the two, but he decided that since this was the first time that she had turned her back on him like she did, he'd let it slide for now. Part of the reason was that he was being watched. He turned and made his way to the entrance of the nursery, refusing to show how shocked he was by his sister.
Ghostkit stopped in front of Ostrichkit, still refusing to look at her brother. "Hey, Ostrichkit?" She asked, her shy voice quivering slightly. "Do you want to... come and play?" She forced the words out, still shy even though the two were friends.
(Dying from the cuteness of this!!! xD)

Before she could spot anyone, however, Moonpaw was attacked by an orange blur leaping down towards her.
"Death from above!" Tulippaw shrieked as she landed squarely on her denmate's shoulders. She'd been crouched on the lowest branch of the tree the apprentice's den was located in, just waiting for someone to come out. Ambushing someone was the only reason she hadn't slept in today.

Snakekit climbed out of his nest with Foxkit just behind him. Foxkit twitched her tail and cheerfully shook her pelt out before jumping on Snakekit who squeaked in surprised and wrestled his sister back. "Let's play with the others." Foxkit meowed. They broke apart and Snakekit saw Shallowkit head toward the entrance of the nursery.

Just before he left the nursery, Shallowkit glanced behind him. He looked over his sister, and caught Snakekit's eye. Giving the other kit a small smile, Shallowkit ducked out of the nursery. He stepped over to the side and scanned the camp, obviously looking for familiar gray fur. Unable to spot his father, he shook himself. He looked up to Fallenwater, and not seeing him in camp meant that Fallenwater was either already up and busy or asleep from working too hard the other day.

I sometimes worry about that sort of thing..." Ottersplash trailed off, not wanting to go into much detail about his anxieties. Instead, he turned his one-eyed gaze over to where Swiftstorm's parents had disappeared. "I saw Leafripple leave not too long ago, with their siblings," the tom began, returning his gaze back to the tabby warrior. She was older than him- not by much, but she was just about done her apprenticeship when Ottersplash entered his own. Still, the tom liked to respect warriors older than him, even though he could be considered senior himself, so he kept his tone polite and respectful, even though the molly was making his ears feel warm. He didn't know why this was. "Do you think Truthwatcher and Rainpool will be okay? It would be bad if something happened whilst the medicine cat is gone..." |

"Ah, I faintly remember that." Sootsage meowed, although, to be honest, he had no recollection of such a thing. Maybe because he had never really talked to them before today, but he was sure, if it was something big, he would've had a memory of it. Or... did he remember? He felt a pang of sympathy for Violetsky when she mentioned that she had been framed, and when Pyreflare turned to call back at the three cats padding side by side, Sootsage rolled his eyes- though not enough for everyone to notice, surely.
"Was it that time you got stuck clearing out the- ah- elder's den for moons?" He asked. "And, as for the stupidest stunt I ever pulled when I was an apprentice... I challenged a Wonderkit to a swimming competition while my mentor took us out." Sootsage meowed, slightly embarrassed. Who was the kit- had it been Amberfoot? He thought it had been Amberfoot, but he couldn't be quite sure.
"Anyway, she couldn't swim, I wasn't thinking, got into huge trouble." |

"Honestly? I don't know," Swiftstorm replied. "They always get others into trouble, but I always fear that they are going to do something they regret one day. I just hope that they will be fine now." She couldn't keep the hint of worry that slipped in out of her voice. With both of the elders outside, she was worried about them though she tried not to be. What worried her most was the fact she had no idea what they were up to, and she found herself wishing once more that they would stop acting like kits.

Shadowbriar had been awake for a long time, having been woken up by the rowdy apprentices making noise. By the time he had stumbled out of the den, profanities bubbling from his jaws, they were gone. He did not know who it was, but when he found out, he'd give them a verbal lashing unlike any they'd ever seen.
He was grumpy today, as he was most days. His tail lashed back and forth in the dirt and his eyes were narrowed as he surveyed camp, tearing into his finch every few minutes. It was already cold, which did nothing but sour his mood even more.
The black tom watched camp through narrow eyes, watching as they went about their duties, chatted with clanmates or met up with their apprentices. He felt a pang of unease- he'd never really fit in- but quickly replaced it with his stony hardness.

Sneezingsun watched Shadowbriar with a slightly tilted head and a thoughtful gaze that was soon interrupted by a harsh sneeze. Shadowbriar didn't interact with his clanmates too often, and it was a right shame. He'd been a rogue, Sneezingsun knew that much, though he'd joined the clan before he could remember, but other than that, he didn't know too much about the black tom.
He should fix that. Standing on shaky legs, Sneezingsun walked over to Shadowbriar and his finch and settled down nearby, "hello," he purred, stretching out his front legs and beginning to groom the slightly patchy fur, stopping once to hack and cough a few times before continuing.

Ostrichkit's eyes widened as he watched Ghostkit openly defy her brother- it wasn't often she did that. In fact, he didn't think he'd ever seen her do that before. He jumped up with delight as she approached him, purring in a low voice.
"Of course I want to go play with you- what do you want to do?" He could hardly believe his luck- normally, he could only steal time with Ghostkit, but now, perhaps... Caught up in his happiness, he didn't notice Shallowkit's narrowed eyes. |

Snakekit tilted his head at Shallowkit's smile and watched him leave the nursery. The younger tom scrambled toward the entrance to go after the older tom figuring he would have something fun to do. Snakekit poked his head out looking around the camp with wide eyes watching, he stepped out and looked around for Shallowkit.
