Rainpool // Truthwatcher
"Eh, apprentices are still fun. Well, at least they will be when Ostrichkit and Tansykit finally become apprentices!" Rainpool mumbled, taking the lead out of the elder's den, where a strange sight met his eyes. He saw Leafripple and Pyreflare, play fighting in the middle of the clearing, with Zapstrike trying, apparently, to tune them out, and Sootsage watching on with amusement glinting in his eyes. Sending a searching gaze across the camp, he also saw Ottertuft and Swiftstorm chatting, and let out a purr of amusement.
"Well, looks like someone's got their eyes on our Swiftstorm." He meowed to Truthwatcher behind him, twisting his head so he could see her. They were definitely going to tease her about it- it was just in their nature to.
"Anyway, as you were saying... well, I was thinking, that it would be... really bad..." Rainpool trailed off, thinking of a better way to phrase his idea. "Let's just say, how well can you imitate a bark?"

"True... I can't wait for that to happen!" The old sat down once she stepped out of the den, her fur ruffled from sleep. Her eyes scanned the camp as well, and at Rainpool's observation, she followed his gaze to Swiftstorm. She would get some fun out of this.
"About time that kit got some attention," She purred. "Her head's too far in her duties, and I swear she's gonna forget how old she is until she can't have those kits she wants!" Truthwatcher always gave Swiftstorm a hard time about that, and wasn't about to stop now.
At the last comment, her sharp eyes narrowed and she turned her attention to Rainpool again. "What do you mean-" Suddenly what he was saying dawned on her. "You know, we really shouldn't..." And yet, something in her voice and body, the way she held back a grin, the way her eyes glinted, it was obvious that she was convinced they should.

(Here! Just went to subway, so I'm going to eat and then reply. I have everyone except Ottersplash and Darkheart open right now, if anyone meant a to roleplay with any of their cats as well.
Mosquitonose and Shadowbriar are completely open, and Mintpaw is sneaking and eating a crow before hunting.)

(It's quite alright, kankri, it's really up to you! If you'd like, you can always leave Greydusk at camp! I don't really mind rping 4 on 1, it really depends on you. If you think it's too boring, I can always send another cat to magically appear by the river (preferably an annoying one, ehehe, like Wanderstorm). Anyway, my point was that rping 4 on 1 isn't actually a problem for me, but I'm afraid it might be for you, if you get all your cats stuck in rp for me while I'm sleeping, outside, etc. If you don't mind that, then it'll be ok! If you're afraid you might be stuck in rp, it's always a good thing to keep one or two characters open just in case.)
Sootsage // Leafripple, Pyreflare, Zapstrike, Violetsky
Sootsage blinked in surprise as Violetsky spoke up- this was, he believed, the first time she had voluntarily spoken to him about something that was not clan duties. Of course he didn't mind if Violetsky showed up- well, at least he hoped he wouldn't. Even though she was hard to talk to, like he'd been thinking about only moments before, Sootsage hoped that her speaking would mean they would have a chance as being friends as well.
"Of course I don't," He whispered back to Zapstrike- although it wasn't like it was polite to say so if he really would. In a louder voice, he joked: "But you guys have to slow down- or my stubby legs won't be able to keep up!" The gray warrior gave a small purr, and finished the last of his breakfast in one gulp.
"Shall we get going, then?"

Rainpool // Truthwatcher
The elder purred.
"Well, what are you waiting for? First thing on our agenda..." He made a feeble barking noise, that sounded more like a screechy cat. "Oh boy. I'm no good at this. We'll have to hope you are." He mrrowed, frowning at the thorn in the plan. He started out of the camp, expecting Truthwatcher to follow him. Passing Swiftstorm, he decided to poke a bit of fun at her and Ottersplash.
"Lovely morning, dear Swiftstorm. And good morning to you, too, oh handsome Ottersplash." Rainpool mrrowed with a purr rumbling in his throat- he purred a lot. He was barely able to keep the amusement out of his voice as he passed his daughter, and held his head and tail high.
"We were just heading out for hopefully a chillier breeze in the woods, don't mind us, the two of you have a good day!" He added, and strode out of camp, squeezing between two trees, following Darkheart's scent.
Although Rainpool's warrior skills were nowhere near as honed as they were when he was younger, he was still pretty capable, and picked up the third elder's scent quite easily.
This is going to be the most fun I'll have in a while, the elder thought as he waited outside for Truthwatcher to emerge. They were going to have to be stealthy if they wanted to sneak up on Darkheart, and he just hoped, with his old age, that he could manage it. If they really did pull this prank, Sorrelstar would most definitely sternly reprimand him and Truthwatcher, though he doubted he'd hand out any punishments- it wasn't exactly like elders could be punished anyway- you can't really tell an elder to "clear out the elder's den".
He had a feeling that Darkheart would be huffily pulling her moss a lot further from Rainpool and Truthwatcher tonight- as if she didn't usually sleep far enough from them.

Truthwatcher/Swiftstorm//
(I'm already dying from how great Truth and Rain are!)
Swiftstorm heard Rainpool, and whirled around at his voice. She knew his teasing, she's heard it enough. He became even more unbearable when he became an elder, if that was even possible. It didn't help that Truthwatcher had became an elder only a few moons after, retiring earlier than most to join Rainpool in the den.
Ignoring his other comments, she simply replied, "Be careful, I shouldn't need to remind you that you're not as young as you once were." Her eyes followed as her mother followed her father out of camp, obviously trying to keep from laughing. If anything, the fact that the two didn't stay longer and were stepping out of camp together made her suspicious, especially since her mother was trying to keep something to herself.
Truthwatcher, however, was able to make it out of camp without giving it away. She knew that if she started teasing Swiftstorm, she'd probably never stop, so she had shot her daughter a knowing look instead and followed Rainpool out. The old cat was confident on her barking skill, and on her growls. This would be easy. The most she worried about was sneaking up on her sister, but knew that with Darkheart's own old age, it was possible to manage. She stayed quiet, especially since she didn't know when Darkheart would be coming back and didn't want to give their position away, so instead she grinned at Rainpool and followed him, seeing that he caught her scent. She wasn't even worried about the consequences- she never was, not even when she was a warrior or apprentice- and in her eyes the blame could only fall to Darkheart for not expecting this, as they had known each other long enough that Darkheart should expect Truthwatcher would do something like this without hesitation.

"See, now there's someone ELSE who can appreciate the life of the short guy." Pyreflare defended, bounding forward a couple paces and (of course) taking the lead of things. Leafripple nudged her way politely between Zapstrike and Sootsage to chase after him, falling into step beside him. "Hmmhmm..." Zapstrike purred as he watched the two of them, scarfing down his own meal and licking his lips briskly. "It doesn't feel like too long ago we were just apprentices, huh?" The tom asked aloud to Sootsage as they began to head towards camp. Behind them trailed Violetsky, quietly listening in on their conversation without offering input, while ahead of them Pyreflare and Leafripple began to murmur arguments at each other. "And we were hoping for the day we could be warriors, and do really important duties." He chuckled to himself. "And now we're taking a day off to swim, just like we used to!"

(Oh yeah, for sure! I like being called Aroma! I originally was Sromatisse when I joined this but I changed it to Darth Vader 'cause I'm on a Star Wars high right now. May switch it back, we'll see (though it would be a pain for the owners of the roleplays I'm in.).
Also, I feel really bad for Swiftstorm, having Mintpaw as an apprentice. Ahahah.)
Darkheart was completely unaware she was being hunted by the sneaky elders. The tortoiseshell was too busy delicately plucking moss from the ground, careful not to get any roots or dirt in her bedding.
She had overreacted about Ottersplash wanting to help, she knew that. Her pelt burned with shame as half a dozen heads in camp had swivelled to look at their skirmish. Her ears were flat against her head, and she was dreading heading back to camp, and having everyone stare at her.
Good going, Darkheart! she thought to herself bitterly, Now everyone thinks you're senile in addition to useless!

Ottersplash nodded in reply to Swiftstorm's words, half grateful, half embarrassed that dark tabby noticed he was so shaken. He felt a small sense of warmth knowing that a member of the Clan cared enough to make sure he was alright, and did it subtly. Looking around, he noticed a couple of warriors glancing in their direction, and felt his fur heat up once more, not wanting to seem afraid of an elder.
"I'm a-alright, thank you, he meowed shakily. He noticed his tail was still expanded to twice its size, and his fur was sticking up all over the place, and tried to force it lie flat with a self-conscious lick. "She's an elder, and I must have disrespected her by intruding. It's my fault-"
He trailed off as he noticed Truthwatcher and Rainpool approaching, and his anxiety lurched again. Afraid they were coming to chastise him for Darkheart's poor reaction, his ears went flat and his eyes grew wide. He subtly took a step back, so that he was half behind Swiftstorm, hoping they'd go away. His hopes went up as they simply passed with a few words to the tabby warrior in front of him and padded towards the camp entrance, snickering.
Ottersplash stepped out from behind Swiftstorm (hoping she didn't notice he had tried to hide behind her somewhat) and let out a puzzled meow, "I am very confused as to what they're doing, but something tells me it's not good- no disrespect, of course" he quickly added, remembering that Truthseeker was Swiftstorm's mother.

"It wasn't your fault, Ottersplash," Swiftstorm replied. "Darkheart is simply a little grumpy, and she probably just snapped without thinking. You did nothing wrong." She wanted to make sure that he didn't hold anything against himself or Darkheart.
She glanced to the entrance that Rainpool and Truthwatcher had just gone through. "None taken," She replied. "Especially since knowing my parents, they are more than likely up to no good, like usual. I just hope it's nothing too drastic." She and the clan had to deal with them constantly, but didn't say a word against them because they were elders and deserved respect.

Also I noticed one of your cats needed a love interest, and I looked him over [his appearance is adorable by the way] and I realized I think him and Leafripple would be a good pair! It would be illegal, because she's a medicine cat, but they both have affectionate and kind personalities and he fact that he's physically affectionate I think is so cute! So if you want we could develop them? ^w^))

Rainpool // Truthwatcher // Darkheart
Rainpool stopped abruptly as he saw Darkheart's pelt, quite visible against the foliage. He beckoned to Truthwatcher with his tail.
"Do you think you can still climb? Or do you want to find another vantage point? Preferably one where she wouldn't see us straightaway." He whispered to her, creeping nearer. Rainpool eyed the tree that he was standing beside- it was with low hanging branches, and there were pawholds that would easily hoist Rainpool up the trunk of the tree. After a moment's hesitation, he turned to Truthwatcher.
"I'm going up, you can come up after me or find another vantage point." He whispered once more, and then, confidently, began to haul himself up the tree. It wasn't an easy journey, and pretty soon, the elder was on the third branch thoroughly tired out. He gave Truthwatcher a devilish grin, and perched himself on the branch, waiting for her to take her position.
(So I was thinking, (And free to add plot points or anything, everyone!) maybe Truth goes around the other side, frightens Darkheart, so she kinda runs into Rainpool's tree and he's so surprised that he falls off it, both from the slight impact and the fact that he's old and can't hang on very well. So naturally they're both hurt, and they need the medicine cat but holy starclan what do we do the medicine cat's on the other side of the territory splashing around in the water! This is going to be good. Or something else entirely!! cx)

Truthwatcher nodded, and saw him struggle up the tree. As she watched, she decided that she was definitely not doing that. She quietly made her way around Darkheart, careful to keep silent and trying to keep herself from stepping on twigs. She barely made her way around, taking quick shelter behind a tree to keep Darkheart from noticing her.
(I like that idea, cause it gets them into even more trouble. Truthwatcher will end up being the one unharmed, and probably the one taking the most blame which works.)

Sootsage considered Zapstrike's words for a while before speaking.
"Well, it's always good to take time off as warriors! After all, greenleaf is hot, and the clan is thriving this greenleaf. I'd say we deserve a break." He meowed as they neared the river. He picked up his pace a bit, trying to match Zapstrike's long strides, his paws padding against the forest floor in eagerness, yearning to soak himself in the water as soon as possible.
"But speaking of when we were apprentices, I do miss it sometimes," He admitted. "Although we have mentors and stuff, and training and chores, it's still a lot more carefree than being warriors- you can act like kits just because you can, and no one will judge you for-" Sootsage broke off, seeing Leafripple and Pyreflare, and ate his words. They were acting like kits, even as warrior and medicine cat, and he was tinged with a slight bit of envy that, however he tried, he just didn't seem to have genuine fun anymore.
Sootsage turned to Zapstrike, observing the other tomcat as he padded alongside.

(I'm replying with Otter in a few seconds, I just want to do an ooc post first. I've always wanted to read Homestuck but from what I've heard it's SUPER long. I have a friend who cosplays as a couple of characters from it and the fandom looks kinda fun, though more subdued nowadays. I've also wanted to get into Steven Universe but some of the people in the fandom do me a frighten.
Also, I can't figure out what I want my profile pic to be RIP. I have like 800 photos on my phone, ranging from hyenas, to memes, to fandom stuff, and I want them all to be my photo.
And yassss, I'm here for elder drama.)

(Hey guys, I just joined and before I start rping I just wanted to say I haven't been on the forums in a while so it's going to take me a bit to get used to rping and get back into it :) And are there any major plot points right now that I should be aware of before I start rping?) ((Not much, we're just getting started off! Ongoing rps- Mintpaw is eating before going hunting, Four of kankri's chars and Sootsage are going to the river for a swim, Rainpool and Truthwatcher, the clan's mischievous elders, are going to prank Darkheart, Truth's sister, and this is going to go wrong, causing cats to get hurt but the medicine cat, who is going swimming as well. Homestuck is wonderful! It's weird, quirky, at times really deep and profound, and all around just an incredibly good time. Every character has incredibly thick depth to them, but. Homestuck cna also REALLLLLY be a chore. The first like, 2 acts are hard and confusing, actually the whole THING is confusing, and people like it for different reasons! A lot of people love it for the deep plot, and the lore behind it - I for one love it for the characters, and the relationships they have with others. Davekat COUGH COUGH
But yeah! You should check it out, it's really good. >w<
If you want we can have 'em interact first? c: Wolfjaw could be out near the river, or intercept them on the way and Leafripple decides to go with him instead of all that. ^w^))
