Lightningshadow felt like she could stay here forever. Warm and safe in the comfort of his fur. She tried to snuggle closer to him but stopped. She didn't want to make him uncomfortable.

Lightningshadow let out a deep purr. "I could stay here forever." She !murmured more to herself than him. She looked up into his eyes as she snuggled closer. She licked his chin as she purred.

Lightningshadow looked up at the sky.She jumped back and hissed when she saw a giant bird coming down towards her.

Mapleblaze yowled when he saw the bird, grabbing the scruff of Lightningshadow he tried to pull her down out of the way.

Lightningshadow gasped as she was grabbed by both Mapleblaze and the bird. She yowled in agony as she felt the bird rip her flank. She wrestled out of the grip of both of them and stumbled to the ground. She tried her best to get up. She couldn't show she was weak!

Mapleblaze hissed and clawed at the bird. After a few seconds the bird gave up, but not before attacking his shoulder. Mapleblaze stood and panted for a moment, then rushed over to Lightningshadow. "Are, are you okay??" he asked frantically, looking her over while ignoring his own injuries.

Lightningshadow tried to look tough. "I'm okay." She panted. She did her best to hide her bleeding leg where he couldn't see it. She looked at his shoulder as she held up her leg off the ground so it didn't put any pressure. "Your shoulder!" She gasped. Realizing the bird attacked his shoulder.

Brackengaze nodded then sat down under the shade, waiting for Crowshadow. As Crowshadow came outside with two poppy seeds Brackengaze stared at the seeds and meowed, "Do i have to eat that?" The golden warrior waved his tail towards the medicine. "Well you only need to take one right now but if it starts hurting take the other." Crowshadow purred and added "the stings will go away in a few days." "Okay" Brackengaze nodded, then bent down and ate one of the poppy seeds. It tasted bland. Purring, he looked at Crowshadow before meowing, "Thanks, Crowshadow. I dont know how i could repay you" chuckling. Brackengaze curled his tail around his paws. |

Lightningshadow looked at her paws. "No where." She mumbled. She didn't want to be pittied. She tried to put pressure on her foot but flinched as it stung. She could feel the blood go down her leg. She nuzzled into Mapleblaze, wishing the pain would stop. She knew if she left her leg alone it would eventually heal. It couldn't be that bad if a wound.

"No need you already have done enough for me by letting me laugh at you." Crowshadow purred and said "you might want to sleep for now." Brackengaze yawned, "yeah, your right" He curled up on the grass, "no. Need to.. Sleep in nest" he slept in the sunlight, curled up considerably close to Crowshadow. (ahh i love it) |

"It's nothing." Lightningshadow murmured. She knew she was probably wrong. "Come on, let's get our prey back to camp." She tried to fake a purr. She went to walk over to her rabbit and gasped when her leg collapsed. She stood up and shook her fur.

When they got to the medicine cat den Mapleblaze looked into the den, and helped Lightningshadow onto a nest. "How are you feeling?" he asked quietly as he nuzzled into her shoulder and scruff. "Did I hurt you when I tried to pull you away?"
