"Are you leading the patrol?" Wildsky asked Stonestreak with interest. Oakstar usually gave new warriors a patrol to lead a few moons after they become warriors. She wondered if this was Stonestreak's.

Stonestreak gave a self conscious purr "Yes. " Hoping Wildsky believed her she added "Oakstar asked me to." The shecat was a bit jittery with excitement, and said nothing else. Overall Stonestreak felt quite privileged that Oakstar had specifically asked for her to lead a patrol!

Hollypaw sniffed the air and smelled a sweet, pitter sent," i think i smell black berry leaves!" she tilted her head to the side, thinking," but i forget what there use is.." she felt a stir of anger at herself, she should know this! Then she sented another faint sent, she looked around the clearing, nettle! She paddded towards a small patch a netle," this is nettle, its used for making a cat vomit for for fighting infection, its helps with wounds, and.. when mixed with... comfrey its heals.. i think broken bones or for traveling.. i'm not sure," she meowed slowly. Hollypaw turned to look at Brackengaze and saw that he was not really intrested, but he still listened to her," umm, i can get it on my way back, i'm not very good at picking it and get stung offen," she meowed when something clicked," Black berry leaves are used for bee stings!" she meowed," i just remembered,"she added.

"Okay" Brackengaze meowed, then turned to look at a tree. "Before i asked about the herbs, i could sense a squirrel right there!-" he meowed but frowned when he realized the squirrel had ran away. "Mousebrained!" Brackengaze murmered to himself, annoyed that he could have caught the squirrel, only if he didn't have to ask about the herbs. Oh well, whats done is done Brackengaze tilted his head, then scuffled his paws against the lush grass.

Wildsky nodded, having had similar dreams before. "Yes, Nightpaw is my apprentice." She purred, spotting the mentioned young cat chatting with Pouncepaw. "She's learning very fast, I'm afraid i'll run out of things to teach her within the next few moons!" Goldenstreak smiled. "Isn't that good, though? If she's a fast learner, you can perfect those techniques and make her better." He glanced at Nightpaw before looking back at Wildsky. "I don't have an apprentice, yet, but I kind of want one." He shrugged and went back to his breakfast, finishing the last few bites. |

Stonestreak's face brightened. "Thanks Wildsky!" It was nice to know an experienced warrior would be there, and the complement greatly upped her self esteem. "Lets go get Loonfeather and whichever apprentice she chose to take with us."
