The flow of shock began to die down. The overflowing blue glow was slowly disappearing. Rowlin was able to sit up now, breathing heavily in response to the pain which blinded against his will. The few sparks which continued were bearable at this point, but his physical sense felt like it was just hit by a truck. He spat out a few drips of blood, "I-I hate that!" He complained in annoyance. "Just when I get used to the shocks, it amplified. It's a self learning piece of history that was well ahead of its time-" he cut himself off, to swallow some blood. His eyes skimmed the area, then made their way for Tom. "Oh I dearly thank you for this. .... t-the last thing I needed was to fry in front of people." He spoke in a light manor. "Tch.." he placed a hand lightly on his head, everything was throbbing. "It's only recent that the bracelets started going off randomly. I-Its been also messing with my emotions... the constant shocks, I mean. What I hate about the recent mishaps is that they can go off during my sleep. ... it's the worst feeling ever!" He paused taking a deep breath, "And if you are wondering, these shocks can kill me. It's gotten to the point where they need to sometimes be distributed between others." He let out a disappointed sigh. "The ones who put these things on me are dead.... nothing much I can do till I hit the grave. But some witch mentioned something about a continuous shock even after that. So that'll be the most awkward funeral.." mintedstar/fur

AuranskyCelestia raised a brow at his comments as she was a bit surprised by them. "I suppose that's true..." She muttered as her daughter nodded in agreement. "Dad's got a point. You always know how to break up arguments between Daimian, Kai, and I without yelling at us like the other moms do." Celestia chuckled. "I don't really see the point of yelling, it's a rather harmful method of speak and only works in dire circumstances." "Like what Mama?" Viola questioned as she titled her head towards the back seat. "N-Nothing you should know of sweetheart." She said softly. Somethings were best kept secret, and her and Derricks past had to be just that. "Okay..." Viola said back, a bit defeated before smiling at her dads proposition. "So I get to stay up here with you?" (Going to start the slightly delayed post for the confrontation between Aika and troop, Riley and Grayson etc.) "You know, you have rather...interesting bedfellows, my child." Kyv said as she walked around the general vicinity of the living room. "What do you mean by that?" Aika questioned while fiddling with her pendant. "I mean, you've gained peoples trust...and yet, the people who are currently approaching seem nervous." Turning towards her, she lightly bowed before standing back up. "I'll take my leave now. Wouldn't want to give away my presence anymore than I have." With that, her figure and presence disappeared, and any traces of her beside her blade vanished as well. Taking in a deep breath, Aika fixed her attire before taking a seat at the table that was centered in the room.

featherlegDerrick nodded through the comments, without much disagreement. "Aye...best way to break things apart." He agreed. "Things can be worked without yelling, and it's just a great approach to keeping a sooth mindset. Happiness and clear heads are always great!" He glimpsed behind him, to pass a car on his left, up ahead was the final turn before arriving at the middle school. The high school isn't too far, Damien can walk...He returned his attention over to Viola briefly, "Yes! Today you are my co-pilot. Your job is to keep an eye out for your brothers." He stated in the most excited of tones. (M'k) Riley and Grayson made their way for Aika's quarters. The two stopped outside each looking at one another with hesitation. Something was just not right about this meeting. Were they in trouble, was it good? Or-was this the beginning of the end? Qestions were flooding, but it was more fear if not much else. The two looked at one another, each hovering their fist along the door, before nodding to one another to knock together. The two knocked and awaited their passage of entry. It was silent between the two as efverything took place.

AuranskyTom held up his hand, more to stop the flood of information entering his head than to stop Rowlin from talking. "Woah, hold up and back up about two minutes. Let's start back up at that thank you. No. Lets not thank me. I dragged you into a back ally then I precede to watch you get electrocuted with doing anything." Tom was honestly just trying to catch up with everything. He had thought Rowlin's biggest deal was being a vampire in the VDA. But this... Wow, he had never in his wildest nightmares expected this. He was still trying to follow what Rowlin had said in his head. These bracelets had been placed on him by someone, but why? That would certainly be his next question. What honestly freaked him out was that it could kill him. That would have to be a lot of electricity. As it was now it must be very, very painful. If Rowlin had done something really bad and this was his punishment, it didn't seem far at all. Tom pursed his lips, thinking. Rowlin had probably already asked everyone possible if the bracelets could be taken off by some other means than by the person who had put them on. But Tom hadn't been one of them and he wanted a look. He held out his hand carefully. "Can I see them?" he asked, pointing to Rowlin's wrist. He was hesitant to any remaining shocks, even though he was standing feet away. He wondered how it would feel to get those shocks second hand. "Why were they put on you?" he finally asked.

mintedstar/fur Rowlin coughed a little, "I-I'm sorry... it's a force of habit to throw out a lot of information..." He first began, then recalled what he said to backtrack a little. His head was a little fuzzy from the shocks, but quickly regaining his sense on reality. He stood up now, slowly using the car as leverage. "In a way, you can consider my thanks in both ways grace, and sarcasm." He emphasized his reply. "Thank you, for quickly taking us both out of public eye. Human election has a diverse look on people. It's also been considered unhuman by psychology." He adjusted his back to rest minimally against the car. "Secondly, by answering your own question as to why I'm thanking you, you can surely reprieve the answer to your liking." He removed the messenger bag from his side, then let it drop beside him. The little drop was leeway to his weight holding me down. Rowlin pulled back his sleeves, past his elbows to leave the two bracelets in view. They were identical, engraved with symbols that gave a feel of nobility. There were words written in a language possibly beyond dead. He slowly extended his wrists out for Tom to see. "D-Don't worry.... you wont get shocked at the moment." He softly stated. He paused for a second before answering his question. "Why?" He softly began. "I don't even know, anymore.." He let out a frustrated shrug. "Along the lines of no longer being useful?" He asked himself allowed, in truth he always denied the reason, but over the years his denial started to haze up the exact reason.

AuranskySorry for late reply)) Tom took one of Rowlin's hand and started looking over the bracelets. He didn't know if he really believed that Rowlin didn't know why these things were on his wrists. How could you forget something like that, even if it had been a really long time. "You mentioned a witch was shown these. You have tried to get them off before?" It was a question he already knew the answer to, but he need a little more information. Then he hesitated and looked up. "My apologies. I was just interested. You don't have to answer that."

mintedstar/fur ((Lol all good. I was a little busy with homework myself. )) Rowlin nodded slowly, "Witches, mages, dark arts, demons, monsters, reapers..." He trailed off at the thought. "The newer stuff has emergency breaks, this is old school. The types of things which were made during the times of nobility. It was in a way for one to assure loyalty from its people. Or at least how some kaniving heartless freaks would force loyalty into their prisoners." He shrugged. "I don't remember how exactly these came on. I mean I was doing something sure, but I sure wasn't conscious for the main attraction." Shaking his head at the thought, his eyes scrolled over towards the bracelets. "One thing that has beemn concluded is that these are supposed to come off by the granted authority. Not much we can do if all granted authority is dead.... But I don't have an issue with these things on, it's not annoying. Gets me under the radar for just about anything, hides everything that doesn't make me human." He nodded now with some satisfaction towards the thought. "But-it has given me some issues recently, like the out of control electrocutions...." He hissed a little at the thought. "I was hoping to see a few old friends to help manipulate these things into a more stable level. They nor I have found a solution for removing them, but we have found some nifty ways on just well..." He paused now to think of the term. His face lit up at the word which eventually made its way to his voice, "It's just like resetting." He chuckled a little.

Auransky"I'll do my best!" Viola said as she looked back and forth between the front and side windows of the car as they approached the school. Maybe it was because he was the middle child, but to Viola, Kai always seemed much more shy and timid than her and her older brother. It wasn't because of bullying or anything--which never occurred that much in their household--but maybe more so of the idea of proving himself because of his position in the family. Whatever it was, Viola always felt a bit bad for him and tried her best to help him when it came to social interactions. "Please, come in." Aika's voice echoed towards the door, a slight edge of confidence built into it that wasn't as prominent as it was now. Once they had both entered and closed the door, she stood and bowed towards them before gesturing to the two seats in front of them. "Thank you both for arriving on such short notice. I'm aware this meeting seem off in many ways, given on what's happened within the past two days, but I assure you I have no malicious attentions with this meeting. You both witnessed and experienced events yesterday that you shouldn't, and that was due me failing to understand current aspects of our enemy. For that, I apologize and would like to make amends as quickly and efficiently as possible. I understand neither of those wishes can be granted easily, hence why I'm allowing you both to ask any questions to me directly." This could backfire easily and deeply, but it must be done.

featherleg Derrick pulled up near the curb spotting a nice shady section under a tree. Once certain he turned off the car then settled in his seat. "And now the waiting game." He nodded to himself at the thought. "We'll wait, and just watch what comes to happen." He stated eagerly. His eyes lazily glimpsed out towards the silent sidewalk, it would be a matter of time before that flooded with middle schoolers. Damien should meet us here-so he'll be spotable...Riley, and Grayson had walked in then politely shut the door behind them. The two seated themselves then looked to one another before turning their attention over towards Aika. In a way the two didn't want to speak up; after the events of two days, and some personal confrontation, it almost appeared like anything whether good or bad was all the same in the end. They would look away from each other for a few moments, before glimsping at one another. Hesitation, mainly at the fact of being signaled out if not much else. Grayson coughed, "M-My lady... if not to sound so rude." He held hesitation in his tone. "Would it be best not to ask?" He slowly spoke keeping eye contact with Aika then glimsping over at Riley who couldn't agree more. "While we hold-er...questions.. I-I think it may be in the best interest of not asking." "-But... if we were to ask." Riley hesitated. "W-Would it be safe to assume that we-we are walking with individuals who are not human? L-Like the creature from the other day?" "I-If that's enough to ask?" Greyson coughed now at the thought. "I-If not then, we will gladly take no answer for an answer." Riley covered. mintedstar/fur(reply? :3 ))

AuranskyViola nodded as she unbuckled her seat belt and tucked her knees beneath her as to give her a better view of the school. A minute of silence filled the car before the schools bell rang loudly and the front doors of the building busted opened, a wave of kids and teenagers rushing out towards their respected cars. Wide eyed, Kai followed suit behind the crowd, moving carefully towards where the car was parked. Leaning her chin against her closed hand the curled beneath her chin, her eyes flickered between the two as she thought over their responses and question. "There are...individuals that walk among you who are not necessarily human, at least by the standards set by humans. While this is true, I would not say they hold the same morals as the beast you encountered yesterday. Those individuals also had no choice in becoming what they are now." While her voice was soft and more confident, there was obvious look of guilt and sadness painted in her eyes that her smile tried its best to cover up. "I should also let you know that these people are being held accountable for their actions by others as best as possible." That should ease their minds a bit. "Beyond that, you are both certain you have nothing else to ask of me? This may be the only chance I can give to anyone outside my circle, so if something is on your mind, I'd advise saying it now."

He titled his head as he listened, but was starting to feel like there really wasn't much left to do. "You mean set it back to before whatever spell or technology had stopped malfunctioning?" he asked. He shifted his position. "I'd be interested in meeting these friends of yours. They sound interesting."

featherlegSettled, Derrick turned his head towards the back to eye Celesta, "I just remembered, sorta-" He began softly then slowly rose his tone a bit, "With you being home so early, and having your brother stop by for studying, this minor thing I was to mention to you slipped my mind." He tilted his head a bit, thinking of the way to word it. His eyes glimpsed up towards the ceiling briefly before meeting her gaze once again. "I got a call from Rowlin-he's back in the states. E-Er has been in the country for almost a month now. He was hoping to stop by sometime this week, for some help on a minor issue he encountered recently." He slowly spoke, as much as he wanted to bring up the topic earlier; but with everything else he forgot. Damien made his way among the tail end of the crowed. He had said his farewells to his classmates a few blocks back, and now walked in silence. His gaze seeking Kai, but also occasionally looking out towards the curb where their dad should be waiting. His thoughts were mainly babbling on and on about AP exams, in the midst of it all he would ocassionally glimpse down towards his feet. Spotting Kai up ahead he picked up his pace to catch up with Kai. He didn't say much approaching Kai, just simply kept his gaze elsewhere, while worrying about his own problems. Both Grayson and Riley looked towards one another. There was still the glint of hesitation in their glances. From personal experience they feared Aika. But they also respected her at the same time. Finally Riley stepped forward. "M-My lady.." Riley began with a cough, "I-I do not change my opinion of you. Even-after the events of yesterday. You did what you believed was right, and I would have gladly taken death for my people.." He trailed off at the thought, the events of being stabbed by his commander were engraved clear as day. "But-there is something still troubling me."He shifted his feet a little. "L-Lacklan, he said something that was most concerning. Derrick answered most questions yesterday, but this one was something Lacklan told a few of us in camp before we went out..." His gaze slightly dropped, yet he continued his eye contact on Aika. "Lacklan said that Rowlin, was really our fallen tactician Vincent. Which at first we all told Lacklan not to joke about such a thing. Vincent was a great Tactician but to compare him to a rookie? That was an insult of sorts. Lacklan continued insisting, then added the fact that only his personal unit knew him by face. Everyone else would always be discussing what he may have looked like. Next Lacklan said that your sudden decision to make Rowlin a personal adviser was because you knew it was Vincent. That drew its own skepticism between the group, but Lacklan added that because we have never seen the individual in question it would make more sense." Riley paused to glimpse towards Grayson's baffled expression. He knew Grayson looked up to Vincent, and by the looks of it ready to fire back in defense. Yet seeing Grayson hold himself back, was relief to his question. "A-Aye well, that's when things started to become questionable." Riley continued. "Lacklan answered everyone's questions by telling us that Vincent didn't die. Instead Vincent made a deal with the devil and was able to escape with his life as a heart seeker. From there he enrolled here as a cadet, then quickly overnight was placed in your closed circle." "But suppose that's true." Grayson interrupted. "Wouldn't that benefit us? To have someone with experience assisting our princess?" He leaned forward a bit. "A-Assuming this blasted lie is true..." "Well, it does sound good." Riley nodded. "To have someone come back from the dead to help. But that's where Lacklan pulled south. He told us that Vincent was never on our side to begin with. He pulled this miraculous death, only after killing the people of the kingdom himself. Lacklan claimed that he too was there that night, that the unit was stalled in a different planned battle, and that Vincent himself went to kill everyone. It was then when Lacklan went off with his unit to find Vincent with the blood of the king perched against his lips. That's when Lacklan killed him, for the better of our people." "-W-Wait.." Grayson crossed his arms, then raised a brow. "Suppose everything is true. Suppose Vincent became a heart seeker, and killed the royal family then was killed by Lacklan in revenge. Suppose this... Now!" He firmly waved a finger, "Why did Lacklan say this now? During the trials, no one and I mean no one stepped forward to claim Vincent's death. Had he said what you just said Vincent would have been investigated, so would be his units. Third, why would he come back into the army if he were alive. if it were me I'd stay with the other team, then use the same tactics to outwit us. Lastly; Rowlin and Vincent are two complete opposites. Vincent was rough, quick, and thorough, Rowlin is soft, careful, and fragile." "R-Right, well Lacklan claimed that Vincent-er Rowlin was going to kill the princess yesterday. That he planned to lure her out, and confuse her abilities by making it seem like an enemy really was in the woods." Riley replied back, "Once she was alone with him he was going to kill her. B-But he also took your group to advantage.." "How so?" Grayson leaned back now. "Lacklan, claimed that you Vidal, Drew, and Ungus were under his control." Riley frowned. "That herbal medicine of the people of the healing clans were forced to make something that would leave you four under his undying whim." "And you all believed this mayhem of a story?" Grayson dismissed it all. Without proof everything was just a load of balony. He believed in Vincent strongly, and for someone to stain his idols name was just blasphemy. "We didn't believe it at first. But the way he answered the questions was somewhat filling in the gaps. But it was his final piece in which he left us which not much else." Riley soon placed his arms behind his back with hesitation. "Lacklan took out a piece of paper, a torn one and claimed it to be Vincent's writing entries, a last before his death. It admitted on the page that Rowlin was Vincent, and Vincent was Rowlin. And that drew us closer yes, but at the bottom of the paper it had a signature which is very hard to look away from." "Y-You're saying it was Vincent's handwriting?" Grayson leaned forward, with denial all over his expression. Riley hesitated before nodding. "We were shown the torn paper, it was indeed Vincent's distinct writing..." "Well! Let me see it." Grayson gritted his teeth holding back his rising temper. "S-So Derrick can confirm.." "I-It's probably in Lacklan's room.." Riley shrunk a little towards Grayson's rising defense. Grayson returned his attention towards Aika, "Can we go find this?" He asked with an eager look in his eyes of wanting to prove this wrong. "B-But wait, what exactly was the question?" He returned his gaze. "i-If Vincent was really Rowlin.." Riley spoke again, this time more softly then before. Grayson's urge was scaring him a little. "B-But also if despite the events that had taken place-if your dreams of bringing back which our kingdom has lost remain true-d-despite your change..." (( #GraysonFanBoy))

mintedstar/fur Rowlin shrugged, "Despite that, I still go out and seek a solution. Nothing yet, but someday I guess." His expression softened up, the idea of death one really not wished for at this point in time was one of most comfort when discussing this undying pain. It was an easy solution to a complicated issue. "W-Well I hope.." he replied back with a tone of cuirosity. "It's a hypothesis, we can't consider it a theory until it's actually been put into practice." His green gaze slowly shifted in a different direction. "It's never actually been attempted before, so I'm just as questionable as you." He admitted. "But if you come up with ideas, I'm always open." He nodded. "Life isn't going anywhere, and well-" He paused, to blink in realization. "Actually that's all there is to it. Life isn't going anywhere..." He stretched a little before picking up his messenger bag once again. "Perhaps you'd like to meet them, but I don't think they'd be happy with me bringing a stranger to them. You know how protective mother cubs can be when a complete stranger shows up to their house and just sets off the mom alert. So I will say for your own safety, well being, and desire to live that you kindly decline your own curiosity to meet these individuals. N-Not on their home turf in the least. Vampire or not, you'll still end up dead." He spoke in a lighthearted tone. The concept was not something to take lightly, yet to him a lot of grim topics were light. "But again, thanks for the close call. I appreciate it-and for the VDA thing, if you claim to have no issues with them , then you really shouldn't speak of the topic as if you do." He adjusted the strap on the messenger bag. "It might give anyone a bad impression of your true intention. I can't give you much info though, like I said I just started less then a month back, so I'm just trying to get accustomed to not getting lost out here."

Tom chuckled, a little darkly. Knowing his own habits, he'd end up dead one day either way. Following Rowlin to his friends could be in the future, but he would try to keep away from that option. Being a vampire, at least for him, meant that his life had to consonantly have a splash of danger or he'd probably end up mad. "I have no issue with them. But I had to leave, years ago, because I was putting my own identity at stake by being here. My intentions are never to endanger or harm, but I have a feeling that they might...not care to much for me in the long run." He frowned a little. This was far to much information. Rowlin knew only a little less than Eveline now. And he had more accuse to old records....If he looked to far back and found out his real name... He relaxed. He shouldn't doubt himself. He should have buried his past well enough. The VDA couldn't possibly still have information on a witch that was supposed to have died ages ago. "If you ever need directions, I'm your person. If I don't know where someone or something is I can find it," he grinned a little. "Especially if you want to talk to the really old inhabitants of this town." Auransky

mintedstar/fur Rowlin nodded slowly listening carefully to the words which detailed his own questions. He awknowledged, and developed new questions himself about this individual. Nothing bad, but best to avoid? ....I could...n-no... I want to avoid a second electrocution...His gaze drifted slightly towards the world behind Tom. "By identity you refer to being a heart seeker-V-Vampire right?" He quickly corrected himself, yet made it seem like he was emphasizing his thoughts. The term he had accidentally used was one considered in the books, and more of a verb rather then the subject in present days. "I-If it's along the lines of being not human, I wouldn't expect that to change any day soon." He frowned, "Vampires, just like witches, and anything in the category of not human has always needed to conceal their identities. It hasn't been accepted then, and we are far from being accepted now." His full attention returned to Tom with a slight nod, "I will keep that in mind when getting lost. I'll eventually find my way, but not before landing myself in mishaps." He lightly chuckled in his own amusement. "But-old inhabitants ..." He bit his bottom lip now completely interested. Anything having to do with old, history and ancient captiavted him. It was a trigger for cuirosity, the need to know of how every perspective draws the same outcome. "I mean-if you have time-w-when you have time." He tilted his head, a childish smile slowly growing on his face. His green gaze drifting away to avoid admitting the curiosity. He was off the clock, grading was ahead of time, his friend was asleep back home, and he was bored out of his mind.

AuranskyAt the drop of Rowlin's name, Celestia's brows furrowed and look of nervousness washed over her. "He's been here for a month and he hasn't connected me?" If there was one thing she had kept with her from all those years back, it was contact to anyone who had been trained under her guidance by any means. "How minor are we talking here Derrick?" With the sudden change of her voice, Viola shifted in her car seat. She knew her mother well, and the tone meant something was very, very wrong. Kai glanced behind him just in time to see his older brother a few steps behind him. "H-Hey Daimian." He said in small, quiet tone. While he wasn't afraid of his older brother, Kai always held a level of respect towards him that, for whatever reason, had lead to a bit of disconnect between the two. Maybe he just put him a bit too much on a podium? "To clarify any of this, I did not put Rowlin in his current position based off of anything involving Vincent. Not his career, not his life, nothing." She said bluntly. "While this may be my own fault, I was not aware Vincent was Rowlin's brother or had any connections with him as we had never had the chance to meet." At least that's what my memories tell me. Upon hearing the mention of Celestia's clan, Aika tensed up a bit. Her already curled fingers turned into a fist beneath her face as she spoke. "If Lacklan knew anything about the clan's history here, it would be that their discipline and loyalty would never be pushed to such extremes. Lady Celestia's people would never do something like that." That had to be true, right? Celestia would have figured that out or one of her subordinates would have informed her of such foul play. "Also, why on Earth would either Rowlin or Vincent be involved with my families death?" Her voice quivered in response as she stood up straight in her chair, her eyes closing as she took a deep breath in. "You both have to understand that the people who murder me came from the opposing kingdom that we fight against; their people were sent into the palace. No outside forces were involved besides Lacklan that we know of. Besides....." Her eyes opened with a look of defeat in them,"I would recognize the person who took my life, and that person is not Rowlin or Vincent." At this point, she was visibly trembling as her gaze was casted down into her lap. "My change, may I remind you, was not my choice. I only wish to bring back peace to people like you two that truly deserve it. If you believe determining Rowlin's identity is a part of this process, you'll both need more evidence than just a dead mans speech and hand writing. I would advise speaking with Lady Celestia and Sir Derrick about this privately."

featherleg Derrick twisted himself to face Celestia directly. "He's been busy with work since he's gotten to the states." He gripped his hands to the seat now, while leaning directly against the seat cushion. "He also mentioned something about being occupied with the social norms of the city, his words not mine." He nodded. "Something along the lines of life threatening restrictions..well-that and an identity crisis." His voice slowly dipped to a mutter near the end. Damien snapped out of his panic box, to turn his attention towards Kai. He nodded back stiffly before returning his attention towards the car ahead. "Anything interesting happen?" He asked in curiosity. "Dad's gonna ask either way, might as well start thinking of something to mention." Riley blinked nodding, "I-I'm not saying it's true..." He replied with a shiver of fear running down his spine. This invitation to ask questions was quickly becoming a rhetorical question in itself. "I was just asking to confirm the puzzling questions which were brought up by Lacklan before the confrontation yesterday." He swallowed trying to keep his sentences steady. In his mind he was repeated at himself that this was a bad idea, not just in asking, but in being here in the first place. "I-I didn't know Lacklan personally-no one did." Riley admitted. "He was just a transfer brought in to assist. I-I'm just sharing with you what he brought up before we rushed into the woods in panic. We were fools, we all were. We all walked into the predators claws, and we paid the price." Grayson on the other hand was more dumbfounded, "H-He's who's brother now?" He leaned back raising a brow, as his jaw remained wide open. "Vincent, and Rowlin-er related?!" He stumbled at the thought just releasing from his lips. He blinked, shivering and now trying to process this in two. "Y-You mean those two....siblings-and no one knew?" He looked over at Riley who didn't meet his gaze. He stepped back, "I-I....regret a lot of things now.." He softly muttered. "W-Weren't you helping Rowlin earlier?" Riley raised a brow. "O-Out of sympathy, not-just get your issues across." Riley waved a hand. "A-Anyways.." Riley coughed returning his attention towards Aika, "I don't wish to anger you my lady. You asked us to ask you. I simply provided you with context. In fair honesty I was expecting this to be a meeting of yesterdays incidents involving why a unit set out to attack another fellow unit within the same group. This information happened, and it was just a set off trigger." "I don't believe what Lacklan said." Grayson muttered glimpsing away. "But if we consider what Lacklan said and take it out of context. Remove names, remove titles, remove who was who: then we get a blank slate of possibility.Consider it, be a part of one group. Fake your death go down as a hero. But in reality it was staged to make assumptions, questions, and accusations. THen that individual in question returns as someone else. Under the wing, no one notices them. Over time get to know their surroundings, then find the perfect opportunity to strike." He shifted his right foot out a little, "I think Lacklan was telling you his story, by changing the minor details. When I was an apprentice, my mentor would always tell me, in order to kill, one must be prepared to be killed. So in a way Lacklan was ready to perhaps take his last stand whether he got his outcome, or fell trying." He returned his full attention to Aika, "My lady, you asked us the other day what was important in a group effort. Trust was a key component. Without it a lot of things may never happen, such as this army unifying under your wing." It was now Riley who was dumbfounded, "M-My lady... as surprising as Grayson sounds, he has a point." Ungus was right... he does take his oath with passion.. "Whether he was killed yesterday, what would be left is doubt. I-I think that may have been his intention from the beginning. To plant the seeds of doubt, and let it decay from within." mintedstar/fur((*Daily reminder*))

AuranskyCelestia raised a brow before shaking her head and sighing. What have you found yourself in this time Rowlin? "Of course he would be having issues out here, he hasn't left home in years." Last time they met it was almost forty years ago, and since then they had barely any contact. "We should probably call him then. Has he contacted Aika at all?" Kai lightly shrugged as he walked beside him. "I had to help my friends study for our history test, They don't pay much attention during class, so I have to break down most of the lesson for them. It's tiresome, but they appreciate it." Most of the people in his friend group repaid him by pooling money together to get him a few of the toys from the dispenser that was located in the lower halls. Sighing to herself, Aika nodded in agreement. "We did pay heavily. Again, I apologize for the response I just gave you, it was rather harsh." Calm yourself Aika.... "Well...some of us figured it out. I can't disclose how, but we figured it out after prompting Rowlin on the issue." What if that within itself was a lie? Not a harmful one, but one that was made to cover up what Rowlin is? He hasn't been able to provide full on answers on the things he knows, which within it self is strange.Folding her hands in front of her, she nodded once more. "He surely succeeded in some way, which I hate to admit. However, we were able to bring him down before major damage was done. How he knew so much though is what has me, and many others, concerned. Not only that but the fact that he decided it was for his betterment to leave ideas with our troops that they wouldn't know what to do with besides doubt and accuse is...disturbing to say the least."

featherlegDerrick sighed, "It's quite the opposite for once. He was encouraged to come out here because of an issue that arose back home. He preferred to talk about it in person though." He fell silent for a moment, to lean out behind Celestia to see out. Spotting the boys he returned his attention back to Celestia, "Better then that, they apparently play on the same playground." He chuckled softly, "But yes-I'll certainly give him a call back later." Damien nodded slowly. "Can't tell ya how many times I've encountered friends like that. B-But then again, it comes in handy for when you need some quick help." He glimpsed away momenta rally. He slowed as the car came into view, "You first." He nudged his head in that direction. Riley shook his head quickly, "N-No No my lady! I shouldn't have outbursted in the first place." He quickly admitted. "I should have let my thoughts slide, at the end of the day your word is law." He bit his lower lip in discomfort. Answers were given, ones he seeked, nd perhaps a little more then he wanted to know. Riley nudged Grayson by the foot lightly. "A-Ah well my lady.." Grayson coughed, "I-If there is nothing more on the matter, we should get back to work. W-We wish to bother you not any longer. Work is important, and there is still much to do at this point." "Y-Yes... we apologize for upsetting you in any way." Riley lightly dipped his head. The two were trying to back one another for a quick way out. From the moment of this summon, they had an idea of going in with a punishment in mind. But the questions caught them off guard, yet her responses at a glance appeared defensive. This brought a very strong discomfort between the two. "All of our questions have surely been answered." Grayson assured. "Yes! Yes they have." Riley added.

(XD Thanks! Replying now. Today was bad. I had so much schoolwork. This weeks just been busy, but that isn't an excuse. I've still been coming on here and replying to my semi-literate RPs. I can make time to reply to this on. >.<
Keep tagging me, Shining. I need it.)

mintedstar/fur Rowlin nodded slowly listening carefully to the words which detailed his own questions. "Of course," said Tom, fingers flexing at the lie. But he didn't notice the little movement he made. "But isn't that a rather old word? Heart-seeker?" He waved his hand as if dismissing the thought. "No, no, you misunderstand me. I..." he seemed to be searching for the word he was looking for. "I've been around so long that my life needs danger every now and again. Risk to my identity or 'life'. So I have to move around quite a lot. I did say I come from here, correct? Well, a while back I took to many risks and the VDA was fed up with me stepping into there business. So I had to leave." Not far from the truth. That was when he'd been following Eveline around. She was the one with the record. He was the one who tried to hide it. So he'd made a lot more risks back then. "So, though I don't have a record, I never went into the dark side of all of that, they probably have long memories and little forgiveness for snoops." Tom smiled at Rowlin's interest in his home town's history. "Oh, if they are still alive and hanging around, I think I can find a couple." He held up a hand to stop Rowlin from saying anything. "Ah, but I don't have as much time today to have you meet more than one person."

mintedstar/fur "I guess it can be considered an old word." He lightly chuckled. "But Vampire as straight to the point, just-I dunno.." He crossed his arms now to consider the term. "It's like a commonly used term, but at the same time I feel like it's an overused term. Sure it means exactly what it means, but surely there has got to be other ways to describe it, right?" He shrugged back his shoulders to emphasize his question. "It's like anything else. We find other words to describe the same thing, so vampire surely can have other words to associate. But enough of my ranting-scratch that, I don't want to rant so i'll be leaving that at that." He waved his hand quickly to dismiss the topic. "So you like to live by the wind?" Rowlin asked trying to process the concept. "Being risky can be fun every now and then, but to constantly pursue danger to no end. That can raise trouble where you'd least expect it." He considered. "But if the VDA had to get invovled the only thing I can assume is that your actions were perhaps leading to the danger of the locals. Rules exist for a reason, they vary but they do indeed exist." He held out his hand, then looked at it for counting reference, "Laws here, other countries, city rules, state rules, vampiric courts, counsels, schools and so on so forth. They all have a purpose, and a reason. To benefit and assist those around them." He paused now to shake his head lightly, "But nonetheless, there's nothing wrong with living on the edge. It's a preference and in a way keeps things very lively." He considered. Rowlin hushed up at the hand gesture. of course he was excited, it was an opportunity to explore and geek out about things no one probably cared about. it was a way of connecting stories and answering questions. He nodded in response, "Don't worry about the when, I will certainly be in town for a while." He assured. "So today, no worries."

Tom didn't bring it up, but he silently understood what Rowlin meant. It was kind of interesting to. They really were strikingly similar to humans, how cared so much about words. "I was getting in the way of them and another vampire or witch, actually. Can't remember which at this point. I was just into following there investigations back then. Closely, if you get my meaning." Do I have to spell out that I was following there every move and breath to see if they found out what Eveline was doing? I can't let him think that I was that deeply into VDA affairs. Can't have me looking me up. "But describing my life as living on the edge is quite true. Another reason I travel the world." Tom chuckled.
Tom nodded. "Give me to seconds to give them far warning I'm dropping by." He stepped back a few steps for the illusion of privacy. He riffled through his pockets and brought out an old cellphone. Computers were possibly beyond him, but he could use cellphones rather easily. His fingers hovered over the keys and his brain retrieved the number. He hesitated. It was a long time he'd called her. Was it a good idea? She had to know he was in town, right? He pressed the numbers. "Hey," he said after a pause. "Yah, yah, it's me." He held the cell away from his ear as someone yelled at him for never calling. "Sorry! Sorry! But look, I'm back aren't I?" Pause. "Yeeess, I'm coming over." His eyes drifted to Rowlin. "Look, um, the reason I call was that I ran into someone whose new in town and since you've been living here for the past 40 years or so...." He had to pull the phone away again as the person on the other end start to scream again. "We'll be right over!" he called into the phone.

mintedstar/furWhat part of no more imformation did he just say? This guy was just wanting to tell him exactly on point. He didn't say anything , instead he invited Tom to zpeak his thoughts by listening. He nodded to indicate his engagement as a listener. Finally he spoke up on thd matter, "Those sorts of actions have dire consequences. From personal expereince, following something closly, is very ill advised. As an international officer , one of our most common associations with individuals is if they are too close the chances of involvement are high. But I'm not involved in the main department here at the VDA. All the longer standing teams are wrapped up in more complex cases. I'm simply here for two reasons. The first being to assist the local universities with some artifacts, and second because I'm grounded for disobeying protocol. With that in mind I'm not going to loom into anything that is not of my interest unless it somehow crosses my needs of interest " The sudden phone call was a change of pace. He stepped back to distance himself from the conversation taking place. He took a moment to gaze at the walls of the ally surrounding them. He paid close attention to the !material to get an idea of when it was built or remodeled for the matter. He wouldn't be able to get an exact estimate without going imside. Seeing as the phone call was reaching a concluaion, he returned his attention back to town.

Tom closed the lid of the cell. "She's expecting us," he said. He was almost smiling. She really hadn't changed much had she? "She's been around here almost as long as I have, but continued to live here after I left." He put the phone back in his pocket and walked a few steps down the alley. "Her name's Eveline. She's a good friend of mine." Once he'd honestly thought they'd be more than that, but that was so many years ago. Even if she hadn't changed, he had. "Ever heard of her?" he asked, looking back at Rowlin. He hoped that the other hadn't, but at this point, what use was it? His hand ran along the wall of the alley absentmindedly. He really had said to much, even when Rowlin had said he didn't need to say more. Tom was to reckless for his own good and safety. How had he manged to keep anything a secret this long?
(Ick. I really couldn't think of what to put in this post. So short... Also, I thought I was the only one who had characters who examined walls. XD )

"Even on such short notice, my you work fast ." His tone shown obvious impression. "Well I am more then eager for this opportunity." He smiled cheerfully. next he shook his head. He hasn't here of her, this was the first time. "It will become a first meeting -this encounter . " he paused to glimpse at the wall before returning his entire attention to tom. "Alright thrn, if we're settled. I will gladl6 follow after you."

(And Katio Kid (from the TPH RP) would cross the universes to join the club. Awarded the prize of spending 4 RP posts studying a wall to see what it was made of. It wasn't even an interesting wall.) "She's a good friend of mine," said Tom. "She's kind of used to my ways by now." His eyes sparked in amusement and he started walking out of the alley. "She lives pretty close to here, too, so it wont take us that long to get there." He walked around the car that blocked the alley. "It's in walking distance." He stood there, waiting for Rowlin to catch up. "She can probably tell you what's happened around here for the last forty years at least. Though who knows what's happened in that time."

mintedstar/fur ((LOL! Way to go Kaito. Then again Shinichi would do it too. Just into deeper context. )) Rowlin nodded slowly at the thought. He didn't want to ask about his ways, it sounded really off his business. He shifted himself after Tom who moved across the ally. When it was time to move, he nodded now following after. "Walkings good, means we have time to prepare for anything to say. Or for you to think of something to say." He lightly joked, then pushed off the topic. "Anyways, thank you again." He nodded at the thought, following after at a pace. His eyes gazed around every now and then, but his focus remained on Tom so he wouldn't get lost as per usual.

Auransky(Yep. Three rp posts, so far. XD What I get for joining the Paradox House and making a paradox...Time travel...fun...It would take forever to explain...) (Tuesday and Wednesday killed me. >.< ) "Oh, I don't know," said Tom. "She rarely gives me any time to say anything. She'll just yell at me for never contacting her again, giving you chance to look around." His tone said he was only half joking. Rowlin was right, he did have to think of something to say. Say, look, sorry for that time two-hundred years ago. And sorry again for forty years ago. And about that time...Girls... Why couldn't they just forget things like normal people. "No problem," he said absentmindedly. "It's just around this corner," he said, pointing to his left.
