Chuck E. Cheese used to smoke cigars regularly, even to the point of the animatronics themselves having cigars. This was later stopped in 1980 due to the "Smoke Out" movement.

Cashews are weird. They don't grow like you'd expect a nut to; instead, they grow on the ends of apples. Said apples are also edible. [Cashews also used to be one of my favorite things to snack on until allergy test results came back a few years ago saying that I was allergic.]

It's possible to graft together a tomato and a potato plant so that both can be grown at the same time. I've heard of people splicing branches of fruit trees with branches of other fruit trees, but never two completely different kinds of plants.
