Hopefully I won't lose interest in trying to revive this one. Anyways, the premise is that every time someone posts, they have to share a random, relatively useless fact. If it is a fact pertaining to anything but an OC/the parts of your personal biz that you feel comfortable revealing, the fact has to be able to be verified, ex. a quick Google search will easily confirm it. Trying to limit it to one fact per post, just so we all have plenty of material.
I'll start: At the time of writing, over half the people in the band Imagine Dragons are named some variation of Dan; Dan Reynolds, Daniel Wayne Sermon, and Daniel Platzman.

Giant squids have donut-shaped brains that circle the length of their bodies [awkwardly worded, but ehh]. This means that if they swallow something too large, it squishes their brain and they die. Poor design, if you ask me.

It's okay, I always hated Oreos anyways.
And here's another fact: Our eyes actually see the world upside-down, it's just our brain that automatically flips images over.

I believe I've got an interesting one.
Alligators and crocodiles are more closely related to birds than they are to any other reptile. They also possess a four-chambered heart, as opposed to a three-chambered heart seen in other reptiles.

A group of cats, in addition to being called a clowder, can also be referred to as a Clutter, Pounce, Dout, Nuisance, Glorying, or a Glare

A group of pandas, oddly enough, can be referred to as either a bamboo [makes sense], a cupboard [lol what], or an embarrassment [how rude].

Due to audience backlash, the character of Scrappy-Doo has not appeared in an animated Scooby-Doo movie since 1988.
Bonus fact: Scrappy-Doo is the reason that Tim Curry refused to star in the early 2000's live-action SD film aptly titled Scooby-Doo. He just really, really hates Scrappy. I'm with you, Mr. Curry!

Bumping this up again with a random OC fact, even though no one but me + maybe some of my old LionClan buddies [but I doubt it] care: In the human AU, Lizardfang's name is Arlo!

[Man, people will really give money for any cause...Except some of the more actually important ones.]
Daddy Longlegs are not considered to be actual spiders due to a variety of reasons, including their inability to produce silk. They also have no venom. And are able to shed their legs like skinks do with their tails (although they can't regrow legs).

[Bumping this up again, hopefully the forums don't eat my post. Also, my dog is screaming at literally nothing. Why.]
Despite popular belief, artificial banana flavoring is not actually made from a now-extinct strain of bananas! It's exactly what it is; artificial.

Bluestar and Cinderheart are related. Proof: Bluestar is Snowfur's sister, who is Whitestorm's mother, who is Sorreltail's father, who is Cinderheart's mother.

The Warriors series is about 4-6 destructions of cats depending on how you look at it
