Tawnyhaze looked at their leader, holding back a growl that started to form in his throat. What did he mean it was true? Blackdawn stood rigidly while Snowbird shrank back.

Ruewhisker's mind was racing so fast she felt dizzy. She stared at Mudfang with large questioning eyes, I knew how you felt about Harestar as a leader but this is crazy!, she thought as she glared at the tom.

Harestar shook his head. "That's why she told me not to go.." he said sadly.
Mudfang growled. "I don't care for your excuses. You're such a mouse-brained leader you didn't even figure out I killed Ravenstep." He looked at his badgers. "Attack!"
The badgers started lunging at cats.
(okay now people can rp with the badgers too)

Tawnyhaze met the first badger head on, battering it with quick swipes. Blackdawn jumped on it's back, clawing the lumbering animal. Snowbird watched from the cave, looking down at her foot. They were helpless in here!

Owlwhisker ran over towards the medicine cat's den, ready to claw at any badgers that came over.
Wildmist shrieked in grief, knowing that Ravenstep was killed by Mudfang. She clawed at any badger she could find in sheer rage.
Emberspark saw a badger run over to the queens' den and ran as fast as she could over.

Ruewhisker's silence slowly turned into a deep growl, her eyes locked in Mudfang. I trusted you!, she was seething with anger.
Erminetail leapt onto the back of one of the badger and sunk his teeth into its scruff, ordinarily he wouldn't fight using his fangs and claws but these enemies were an exception, they weren't other cats.

Mudfang sat in the trees, watching. Currently, the Clan was too occupied fighting the badgers to climb up and attack him.

Timberstone launched himself into battle with the badgers. He leaped onto the neck of one and began clawing it's ears.
Sandpebble screeched, anger filling her and leaped into battle, ready to defend the place she now knew as home.
Juniperbreeze was locked in battle side by side with Coonpaw to defend the nursery

The badger swiped at Tawnyhaze and the tom jumped back. The badger threw Blackdawn off it's back. She landed awkwardly, but stood back up immediately, running towards the Queen's den as well. Tawnyhaze ran at the badger, jumping in and out.
Snowbird stood as Owlwhisker showed up.
"Owlwhisker! We're stuck here." She said urgently, looking back at Mooneyes, how would they protect her?

( Recap before badger stuff. )
Fox and Sparrowtail made up after a few minutes of arguing, and Fox got to talk with his sons for a little while and catch up. Foxpaw was about to bring Fox around the territory to show him what he'd learned with Crowpaw while training and tell him about why clan life was so good and how he should join so they could be a family, and Nightglisten returned to camp and put the herbs away. Then the badgers came...
( Just because. c'x Anyways I might leave in a few minutes again but... )
Foxpaw, Crowpaw, and Shiverpaw where asleep in the apprentice den when the commotion began. Foxpaw was the first up. followed closely by Crowpaw, until finally Shiverpaw poked her head out. Foxpaw gasped at the sight, and Crowpaw felt all the fur on his spin rise. Shiverpaw, meanwhile, shrieked with terror and hid behind the older apprentices. "Oh... Oh StarClan!"
Seeing Shiverpaw was the weaker target a smaller badger tried to garb for her, only to be tackled by both Crowpaw and Foxpaw, soon joined by Shiverpaw trying her best to help and soon grabbing hold of its' ears furiously.
Sparrowtail's tail was lashing as she listened to the conversation between the leader and his kits, and Fox hurried to stand beside her, his long fur bristling so the already large and fluffy cat looked twice his size. When the badger's lunged both cats attacked the same one, Sparrowtail letting out a loud yowl as she struck the badger across the face with his claws, and Fox slashing at it's sides.
Ravenheart meanwhile found himself nearly crushed under a badger as it attacked him, making his gasp out loud as he felt a sharp pain go through his leg. However, he managed to shove it off him and lashed at it's face, missing its' eyes and instead tearing at it's nose.
Smallnose bit at a badger's ears, eyes flashing as she looked wildly about her before being flung off the badger's back. Coughing as she hit the ground, she found herself looking around for Mudfang, still in a state of shock over the whole thing. Who could do such a thing? She finally spotted him in the trees, but was tackled by a badger before she could charge for him.
Nightlisten stood at the medicine den's entrance, eyes wide and furious and tail lashing. He thought of Mooneyes, his blind apprentice, and Snowbird, who was still injured, and was glad to find Owlwhisker beside him as he tackled a badger who tried to enter the den as he shouted. "Don't let any inside!"

Seeing her clanmates risking their lives filled Badgerpaw with a sudden rush of courage. She saw a large badger nosing its way towards the elder's den, running as fast as she could she leapt up and sunk her teeth into the creature's throat. She growled and tightened her grip as the badger rose onto its hindlegs, how is this not effecting it?, she thought in dismay. Before she could think a large paw swooped up from underneath her and she felt dizzy as claws sunk deep into her belly. Her heartbeat was ringing in her ears but remained attached to the badger's throat.

Owlwhisker nodded frantically as he clawed another badger that tried sneaking in and eating the herbs.
Icefire and Wolfshadow were fighting side by side, pawing at badgers at they came in their direction. One bit down on Icefire's paw and she let out a loud yowl.

Tawnyhaze saw Ruewhisker's struggle and ran to help her, jumping at the badger and clawing at it's eyes with a growl.
Snowbird moved back, putting herself in front of Mooneyes.

The small badger shrieked as the three apprenticed attacked it, and it flung them off one by one before retreating into the crowd. Crowpaw landed with a thump besides his brother, letting out a small cough as he hit the snowy ground, sinking into it momentarily before popping back up, checking that his fellow apprentices where ok, then jumping back towards the battle. Foxpaw and Shiverpaw where dazed for a few minutes, giving one badger a chance to suddenly scoop Shiverpaw up by the scruff as she yowled in fear. "Get off! Let go!"
Foxpaw yelped and jumped back to his feet, helping Shiverpaw escape by scratching the badger's nose so it dropped her. Shiverpaw then ducked down and jumped to stand beside Foxpaw, helping keep it back. "Where'd Crowpaw go?" Foxpaw shouted over the hisses, growls and snarls of the battle, his eyes fearful as he ducked another blow from the badger that nicked his ear.
( Is Mudfang gonna be killed or just live and be chased out? cx )

A badger had pinned Pricklepaw to the ground, and Mothdapple let out a loud growl and launched himself at the creature in an effort to save his son.
Meanwhile, Thistlespots and Fernpaw fought side by side. Fernpaw used her small build to slink under badgers and claw at their bellies while Thistlespots protected her from attackers.

As the Clan was distracted, Mudfang grabbed Harestar by his scruff and bit down hard. Harestar gasped.

Honeypaw growled as a badger clawed at her pelt as she was fighting by Wildmist. She winced as it stung

A badger had pinned Thistlespots to the ground, leaving Fernpaw open to be attacked. Thistlespots struggled but was unable to escape. Fernpaw managed to scamper away from a badger's blow and launched herself into the badger that had pinned Thistlespots, but another of the badgers had batted her away, slamming her against a tree. Fernpaw landed on the ground, her head fuzzy.

She shouted, flashing quick claws and clawing at his eyes. Pricklepaw rose to his feet, grateful for his mentor and his father. Mothdapple fought alongside Blackdawn, appreciative of help, while Pricklepaw leaped and bit down on a badger's neck. |

Spotting Mothdapple and Pricklepaw, Ravenheart kicked back the badger he was fighting in the face and ran to help them, attacking it from the opposite side Mothdapple had, tearing at it's sides.
Smallnose dug her teeth into a badger leg, her eyes wide and furious. This is ridiculous! She thought, and then was flung away as the badger finally managed to free itself. Mudfangs' some coward... I never... She dove back at the badger in a fury.
Crowpaw spotted Badgerpaw and noticed it's claws digging at her belly. In a fury the mute tom cat lauched himself at it's back, hoping it would let go on his clanmate.

Tawnyhaze nodded. When he heard Icefire yowl, the tom took off, jumping over her and into the badger that grabbed her foot. The tom started clawing it's back furiously.

Blackdawn distracted the badger, allowing another cat to deliver a killing bite. She wanted to keep him busy and she was quick and annoying enough for it. She bite it back leg, holding on tightly.
