Owlwhisker purred and looked at her in thanks. "I really appreciate that." he told her as the scent of the ocean became stronger. Juniperbreeze purred at him and walked out onto the beach. She gave a soft sigh of pleasure and relief when her paws sank into the sand. Owlwhisker grinned and ran out in front of her, kicking the sand up as he sprinted. |

Gullkit and Bearkit stared up towards Doegaze and Smallnose with wide eyes, and Gullkit moved a bit closer to his mother, hiding his face in her fur. Smallnose frowned and looked to Doegaze. "... I'm so sorry about your bother." She said softly. Bearkit fluffed out his dark brown fur, and looked up at Doegaze with wide eyes. "Don't worry mom." He said. He looked startled, but trying to act confident he said. "Isn't StarClan the really nice place? H-he'll like it there, right?" Foxtail bowed his head in remorse, leaning against his mate as he sat in silence for a few minutes. He was clan he had died a warriors death, at least; he probably fought bravely and protected the others besides. Still, his father's words on his thoughts on battle briefly came to mind- was dying, even the supposed death of a warrior, worth it like that? Crowwhisper bowed his head as well, thinking. He hoped the rest of the patrol would make it all back alive, but he feared the worse. It had been moons, anything could happen. Whiteraven stared at the ground before sitting up, stretching his legs. "Yeah, on a useless mission that's doing us more harm than good! Do we really need more cats in this forest? Look at CedarClan and the problems they've brought to themselves here, it's only a matter of time before they bother us." ( Assuming they know a bit about CedarClan's problems because an outside rp gathering lol. ) Icepaw's fur had bristled and he moved a bit away from Whiteraven as he began angrily talking. He looked numb and felt awkward. He wanted to escape this meeting, but wasn't sure how to just walk away after the news! - - - Lionpaw titled his head thoughtfully. "Pretty well I guess. I like Juniperbreeze, she's a good mentor, and it's only a matter of moons before I become a warrior." I hope Boldpaw can be a warrior with me. He added to himself gloomily. Doeleap nodded sadly at Smallnose before turning to her kit. "Yes, he will. StarClan is a wonderful, peaceful place." she told him reassuringly, wrapping her tail around him protectively. Harestar narrowed his eyes as Whiteraven spoke. "This is StarClan's wish for us to go on this journey." he replied sternly. Honeydew looked sadly at Foxtail. "Do you think the others will be alright?" She asked worriedly. Palepaw flattened her ears when Harestar talked to Whiteraven. "This is just going to turn into a huge argument." She mumbled to Icepaw. "Should we get out of here?" |

Bearkit seemed pleased at the thought and snuggled closer to his mom. He didn't want her to go to StarClan too soon. If she did, though, he wanted to go with her. Maybe it was fun? He didn't quite understand yet.
Gullkit stared at Smallnose in confusion, wondering if that was also where his dad went, but didn't say anything, not wanting his mom to get upset as she tended to do when Thistlespots was mentioned.
Whiteraven flattened his ears to his head, his brain buzzing. Before he could say anything, Icepaw was nodding quietly to Palepaw and slinking away, his back and tail a bit arched and puffed in his nervousness. The whole ting was making him feel sick.
"You had some vision." Whiteraven finally challenged, in a slightly nervous voice. "How do we know it was even true?"
Foxtail didn't reply right away. However he, slightly moving away from her to stand, muttered. "... Perhaps. Maybe StarCaln would have told us if we lost any others... oh, I hope they're alright!"
Crowwhisper nodded in agreement, flinching slightly as he averted his gaze and noticed Whiteraven growling at Harestar.

Smallnose after another pause, noticed sounds from behind her and the other queen. She, after the news of Blazingheart's death, felt she should do... something, and so not wanting to leave Doeleap alone, but wanting Gullkit to sleep, she ushered the young point kitten back into the den.
"Gingerfoot, could you watch him for a bit?" She said in a low voice as Gullkit clumsily rolled in the moss.

Smallnose nodded, giving a faint smile in spite of herself at the idea of Foxkit rolling about.
Gullkit sat upright, trying to look attentive. "Hewwo." He said quietly, casting a glance at his mom, as if uncertain and wanting her approval.
Smallnose purred and nodded, nuzzling him before ordering for him to be good while she goes out for awhile. With that, she headed back up, and Gullkit turned his wide blue eyes to star at Dustkit with interest.
