Timberstone sighed deeply, standing beside Emberspark. His tail tip twitched irritably. Emberspark looked at Timberstone, blinking her green eyes. "I don't like them either," she told him cooly. "But you thrashing is only going to make the tom more smug," she added, flicking her tail towards Mudfang. |

Blackdawn went outside from the warriors den, looking for Tawnyhaze, the tom was dozing in a spot of sun. Blackdawn paused when she saw a white cat sneaking toward the sleeping tom. Snowpaw was trying to scare him. Blackdawn sat down, watching with an amused gaze as the apprentices tail twitched.

Wolfshadow padded over to Blackdawn and the sleeping Tawnyhaze. "Would either of you want to go hunting?" he whispered, trying not to wake the tom up.
Emberspark thought for a moment. Joining the Clan when she was an apprentice, she didn't know who he mentored. "And who would those cats be?" she asked him.

Emberspark slightly froze at his touch. After all this time she still wasn't used to anyone caring for her. "Thanks," she muttered.
Harestar walked over as Emberspark spoke. "Well, Timberstone? What did you think?"
(Nutmeg had her kits train every day in hopes Harestar would find them so they should be pretty decent.)

Blackdawn looked at Wolfshadow and nodded. Tawnyhaze didn't open his eyes.
"I would." Snowpaw paused, looking confused. Tawnyhaze looked at her.
"I can hear your footsteps, learn to be quieter." He said, sitting up.

Rivermoth could sense the excitement in the clan as she emerged from the warriors den, a loud yawn escaping her as she made her way away from the groups of cats and claimed a place near the entrance of camp. The she-cat began to groom herself as she soon realized her fur was sticking up in the oddest of ways.

Timberstone flashed a rare smile at the shecat before dipping his head to Harestar. "They'll do for now. I still don't trust them but there is no denying they know what they're doing," he said. "Perhaps battle practice next?" he suggested, looking forward to fighting the arrogant tom

As Wolfshadow padded to the entrance of camp with Blackdawn, he spotted Rivermoth. "Hey, we're about to go hunting. I thought it could take our mind off of this whole Mudfang and Sandpebble debacle. Would you like to come?" The large black and white tom offered.

We do have an apprentice boom," he reminded his deputy as he motioned with his bushy tail for Mudfang and Sandpebble to come over to him. He turned to Emberspark. "You can join battle practice too," he told her.

Rivermoth looked up from her pelt and smiled at the Wolfshadow. "I'd love too. Who all is coming with us?" She rose to her paws stretching out for a moment, wincing as her shoulder ached from the sudden movement. She quickly covered her wince with another smile, not wanting anyone to question her abilities to help keep the clan fed.
