Sandpebble stirred in her sleep. She could feel the eyes of the patrol on her. "Everyone is staring at us," she whispered to her brother.
Mudfang turned to her, his dark brown fur barely visible. "Who cares. We aren't going to do anything," he told her. Yet.
Owlpaw stuck up his tail proudly. "Crowpaw and I heard it all! They came from another clan and swam through the ocean! The got chased by bear badgers!" He told the white she-cat.

( cx Ok, and sorry for slow replies, I'll be on for a bit longer but I have to go soon. )
Crowpaw had nodded before following Owlpaw to see the other apprentices, tail held high and waving in greeting as they approached them. He kept glancing over to the makeshift den, curious about the new cats. What if they where spies? If they where, who for? Would they suddenly launch an attack during the night? He pictured the two cats trying to fight all of OakClan... it wasn't likely. Maybe if they did, they had other cats in league with them! Perhaps WaveClan still existed? Unless everything they said was true. Who knew! He sighed slightly as he listened to the others talked, and tried to picture what as island-bear-badger might look like.

The next morning, Harestar padded into the warriors' den. He walked straight to Sandpebble and Mudfang. "It's time for your test," he told them seriously.
Sandpebble scampered up quickly, shaking out her fur. Mudfang smugly stood up slowly, taking a long stretch.

"They're cats who came in yesterday. Claim they're from another clan," Mousespots responded, slipping out of the den quietly. The little tom let out a large yawn, revealing sharp, white teeth.
Pebblestep was already up, watching the two strangers training from a distance. Honestly he wanted to know who they were and what they were capable of, so the silver tom was waiting.
Bogpaw and Firepaw were curled up side-by-side, fast asleep still despite the morning rays. Bogpaw was letting out soft whimpers, a nightmare consuming his thoughts as he twitched, making enough noise to wake up his denmates.

Emberspark silently watched the two loners during their test. She noticed Pebblesteps and quickly hid. A former loner herself who was abandoned, she figured no cat in the Clan still wanted to talk to her, even though she's been a part of the clan more than she was ever a loner.
