Heathernose eventually got to the cave, and looking back one more time to make sure everyone was following, she went into the cave.
"They're here!" Heathernose gasped once she got to where ravenstep's body was.

Tawnyhaze looked up as he heard Heathernose's. The tom stood and backed away from the body. He felt a heaviness in his chest.

Icefire turned her head around and moved over so they could step through.
Wildmist stepped past all of them and rushed to her brother's body. She stuck her nose in his fur and let out a long wail, signaling that it was him.

Tawnyhaze looked at Timberstone. "Should we take his body back to camp?" He asked, trying to speak over Wildmist's wail.

Tawnyhaze held his breath while he tried to push the warriors fallen body onto Timberstone. It was sickeningly cold and stiff. He had been dead for a bit.

The shock of what had happened didn't really hit Heathernose until she was watching Tawneyhaze push Ravenstep's body onto Timberstone's back. She'd never really known or talked to Ravenstep, but she'd never been that close to the dead body of one of her clanmates, and it deeply disturbed her. She had originally wanted to join the patrol to show her tracking skills, but now she wished she'd never been a part of it. However, she wouldn't express any of these feelings, instead sitting there in total silence.

Timberstone stood up carefully and began to head back to camp in somber silence.

Wildmist trailed behind, distraught and disillusioned.
Emberspark kept close to Timberstone. They hadn't had a death in a long time, since Beartail drowned.
Icefire slowly trailed behind.

Tawnyhaze walked beside the deputy, helping to keep the warriors dead body from sliding.

WIldmist whimpered. "Honeypaw is still with Foxpaw and Crowpaw exploring," she told of her sister.

Heathernose trailed behind the cats, too tired and shaken to walk very fast.

Emberspark waited for Timberstone to come back.

Timberstone finally padded back and looked at Emberspark. "Any idea where Harestar is?"

When Heathernose got back to camp, she would just sit down without saying anything. Was seeing her clanmates die something she would ever get used to?

Harestar's ears perked up when he heard his name in his den. He slowly slid out from under his den, and noticed the vigil for Ravenstep. He immediately looked forlorn as he spotted Timberstone walking towards him. "How did this happen?"

Harestar sighed. "Ravenstep was a fine warrior. We will sit vigil for him. A few of the apprentices could have become warriors today, but this is far more important."

(Sorry for absence, I was sick)
Mothdapple was crying. The young tom was dead and Mothdapple couldn't do anything about it. He sighed heavily as the patrol retreated to the camp. He really was dead. His tail dragged in the sand
