"So I should focus on both then right? or just one?" She asks becoming alittle confused after following him. Scenting the air she smelled the really faint scent of mouse. Probabbly just the one Mothdapple scared away She thought.

Mothdapple tipped his head to the side. "Train in both equally. Both are extremely important, and it's vital to not let one overpower the other." Mothdapple shivered as he remember the nights he spent as an apprentice, nights filled with dreams of bloodshed and battle. A chill ran down his spine.

Ruewhisker picked up her pigeon and nodded in agreement to Mudfang before turning back in the direction of camp.
Badgerpaw slowed once the soil underfoot turned to sand. The air was dry and salty but she found it invigorating. “Ready when you are!” she meowed to Fernpaw.

Fernpaw, a few paces behind, paused when she caught up to her denmate. There it was, the ocean. Waves lapped, seeming almost hungry, at them. Sand below tickled Fernpaw's pads. She closed her eyes and exhaled. "I-I'm ready," she newer slowly.

(I think once we hit 50 pages I'll start again with the Mudfang plot. Here's a question for you all - should Mudfang have other cats join against him during the badger attack or should it be just Mudfang leading the badgers? Let me know what you all prefer. Rain and Koi if you could get rp the omen going now that would be great. I'll also start a poll soon figuring out what day everyone can do the battle.)

Ruewhisker could see the camp across the lake. She tried to lift her freshkill as high as possible as she moved into the water before swimming across.
Badgerpaw stepped into the water and was instantly a little taken aback by how cold the water was. It was cold but not unbearable and she ruffled up her fur before bounding deeper into the water until it touched her belly. “You won’t feel the cold if you keep moving!” she purred back.

(I feel kinda bad for Ruewhisker, having the only cat she seems to get along with turn out to be evil will just be like throwing fuel into the fire pfft)

Ruewhisker headed straight for the fresh kill pile and placed the wood pigeon down. She then went and sat down in a warm sun patch hoping it would make her fur dry quicker.

Mothdapple smiled down at the young apprentice. "Now, do you smell anything? Other than that pesky mouse..."
'It's not the cold I'm worried about,' thought Fernpaw, but she padded across the sand anyway, a new found strength bubbling in her chest as she watched Badgerpaw splash into the water. "It's just water, it's just water," she murmured under her breath. She stopped as the ocean lapped at her ankles. Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath and leaped forward. It WAS very cold. She shivered and, soaking wet, turned to Badgerpaw. Her fear melted away. It was just water. She raised a paw and splashed the water, making sure to avoid Badgerpaw's direction, and giggled.

Badgerpaw was happy that her friend seemed to be more relaxed. “See! We’re completely fine!” a purr rumbled loudly in her chest “I wonder if there are any fish around here?” she thought aloud.

Fernpaw grinned. "That would be so cool!" She ducked under the water and, eyes closed, rummaged around in the sand. Something slimy, probably a fish, graced her paw but was gone in a second. She rose above the water, thick fur clinging to her face. "I think I felt a fish," she said nasally, "but I obviously didn't catch it."

(We could do Emberspark with either Timberstone or Sandpebble? I'll post a starter)
Emberspark frowned as she ran into the warrior's den after her fight with Sandpebble.

Coonpaw secented the air again smelling a stronger scent of mouse off to the right. "There's mouse this way." she said to Mothdapple pointing to the left of her.
