Blackdawn skittered her way up the tree, knocking down some bark as she went. She stood on the branch by Icefire.
"It's not you he hates..." She said quietly.

Shiverpaw had been curled in the den, shivering in her usual way. Her green eyes fixed on the moss in a slightly bitter, slightly sad glare, she looked up when Snowpaw entered. She had awoken when she heard voices shouting outside. "... Whats' going on? Whos' shouting?" She asked quietly, looking drowsy as she stretched.
Foxpaw was still concerned why Honeypaw had been uneasy around him. However, he had the perfect plan! Whatever was wrong could be solved with an adventure- a fun one, it'd be safe, right? Maybe if he invited her out for a walk and a hunt, she'd realize he was sorry for whatever he did wrong! Pleased with this he looked for her around camp.
Crowpaw was watching Foxpaw with a doubtful look, tail twitching as he lay nearby.

Snowpaw sunk down into her nest a little.
"It was Blackdawn, she was yelling at Tawnyhaze and Icefire ran out of camp." She said, her voice breaking.

Shiverpaw sat up a bit after her stretch, giving Snowpaw a puzzled look. "Why?" She asked, not too sympathetically, but not angrily either. She didn't know the family very well and was curious. "... You ok?" She then asked, trying her best to sound a bit more polite.

Snowpaw sniffed.
"That's just the thing." She said.
"I asked Tawnyhaze and he growled at me. He said to go away." The apprentice said in confusion.

Honeypaw was grooming herself by the apprentice den, her golden pelt still shining in the cloudy weather.

Blackdawn shuffled her paws.
"It's Snowpaw. He hates Snowpaw." She said in a low whisper, shoulders drooping. The she-cat felt defeated. Why couldn't they just act like a family?

Shiverpaw curled her tail around her paws. "Sometimes cats are just grumpy." She said with a sigh, looking at the mossy floor. "I get yelled at sometimes for no reason... you just gotta ignore it... I'm sure you didn't do anything wrong."

Snowpaw sat up slightly. She felt a little better knowing she wasn't the only one getting into trouble. She shuffled her paws.
"I want to go do something." She said, wanting to occupy her mind and forget about her brothers grumpiness.
Blackdawn let out a long sigh.
"Snowpaw isn't fully clan cat." The she-cat looked at Icefire.
"She's half rogue. Our mother..." Blackdawn looked away, feeling ashamed.

Foxpaw, spotting Honeypaw, bounced to his feet. "I'm gonna go exploring, like I said, you coming?" He asked Crowpaw. Crowpaw merely shrugged and stood up. Might as well, he figured.
Beaming, the fluffy ginger tom hurried over to Honeypaw, Crowpaw walking much slower behind him and watching from a little distance. "Hey Honeypaw!" Foxpaw greeted. "Want to go out of camp with me and Crowpaw? We might go hunting, but we mainly just wanted to explore around the territory."

"Me too, to be honest. I think my mentors' ignoring me on purpose." She grumbled in reply. Dusting some moss of her ruffled white pelt, and finally seeming to be shivering a bit less, Shiverpaw stood up. "We could go... hunting?" She said. It was a bit grudgingly; was that all there was to do, hunt? But at least it'd be practice.

"Ok." Shiverpaw said with a small smile. She poked her head out of the den, looking to see if Tawnyhaze was still lurking nearby. She didn't want to mess with him either if he was still upset.
"Great!" Foxpaw responded. He noticed the slight stammer in her voice, but tried to ignore it. "I was thinking we could maybe go near the forest's edge, or the caverns."

Blackdawn nodded.
"I know that. He knows it too. I don't know why he treats her the way he does. I don't think he sees her as family so when you talked to him the other day, it ruffled his fur. He knows he's wrong." Blackdawn said.
Snowpaw stood beside Shiverpaw, looking out of the den. Tawnyhaze was nearby, but he was to busy fumming in his anger to notice them.

Deeming it safe the small she-cat slipped past Tawnyhaze, trotting out into the camp clearing.
"Me neither." Foxpaw answered, swerving and heading for the tunnel entrance that lead from camp, to them. "Best take a shortcut then instead of wading through water!"

Honeypaw sighed in relief that they wouldn't be in the water. She turned to face Crowpaw as they walked. "And how are you?" she asked cheerily.

Crowpaw smiled and nodded, trying to convey that he was fine.
Foxpaw entered the tunnel, looking back to make sure his brother and best friend where following him. It took him a moment to adjust to the darkness, but, being a cat, this wasn't very long. "I haven't been here in awhile!" He said, looking deeper into the tunnel. "Has anyone ever explored the entire tunnel and cavern system?"
