Ruewhisker was taken aback by Mudfang’s response, to loose her littermate was bad enough she didn’t know how she would cope loosing her entire clan.
“I’m sorry to hear that” for once she actually sounded genuinely sympathetic. “I can’t imagine what that must feel like" her ears flattened a little as she spoke.

Icefire padded out of the warrior's den with a yawn. A piece of moss still stuck to the top of her head, Icefire trying blowing it off.
Emberspark furrowed her eyebrows. "How would.. how would you not know him then?" She thought aloud.

Blackdawn stood up and prodded Tawnyhaze awake. The tom got up and stretched. They both padded out of the warrior's den. Blackdawn stopped by Icefire.
"You have something on your head." She pointed out. Tawnyhaze walked by them, not awknowledging his sister had stopped walking.
