(here)
Ruewhisker had returned from the Tide Pools and was now laying down by the warriors den, frustratedly trying to break open a large clam with her teeth. The tip of her tail twitched in slight irritation.

Icefire was in the training grounds, thinking of some new methods to train her apprentice.
Owlpaw escaped Doeleap's grasp enough to go swimming in the lake. Despite the flood he still loved the water.
Wildmist walked back into camp with a squirrel in her jaws. She gently placed in on the fresh kill pile.
Ravenstep stirred in his nest, towards the end of his nap.

Tanwyhaze looked around camp. The tom was still quite tense from the flood and was helping clear the camp of stray debris that had come in.
Blackdawn was walking with Snowpaw on the border, vainly trying to show Snowpaw their border. She knew Doeleap had already showed the apprentice more then once, but Snowpaw still seemed to not remember the boundaries.

Icefire noticed Blackdawn and Snowpaw by the training grounds and padded over. "Getting some extra practice?" She asked.
Wildmist noticed Tawnyhaze cleaning up. "Need some help?" she called out as she padded over. "It's been half a moon but there's still things lying around. I can't believe it."

Blackdawn looked up at Icefire. "Trying to reacquaint her with the boundaries so Doeleap doesn't have to again." Blackdawn sighed and looked to her right. "Snowpaw, leave that poor beetle alone please." Snowpaw paused in mid swat at the beetle and bounded to her sister. "Hello Icefire!" She said cheerily. Tawnyhaze pawed a branch and looked at Windmist. "Perhaps they will provide some use. Are there any dens in need of repair?" The tom asked. He was tired of sitting around camp doing nothing. The tom would rather have his mind occupied. (He and Snowpaw are more alike then he wants to admit )

"Hey Snowpaw. What are you not getting about the borders?" she asked curiously. She wondered if any other apprentices were having trouble.
Wildmist shrugged. "Maybe. The dens were fixed recently, but a few might need to be reinforced. Perhaps the elders' den?"

Tawnyhaze nodded. "Batscreech always has a complaint about drafts in there. Even when we fix it." He commented, imagining the elder. He began to gather some of the moss and sticks that were left in camp.
Snowpaw sat down and blinked, her blue eyes wide. The apprentice was confused. "I know where our border is." She said promptly. Blackdawn tilted her head. "Then why do you keep forgetting when I ask you if I'm on our territory or not?" She asked. Snowpaw looked at the ground guiltily. "Because that's boring..." She trailed off.

Wildmist's twitches her whiskers. "My father complains about it too." she told him, picking up a few of the branches.
Icefire snorted. "Well I guess that solves our mystery!"

Tawnyhaze looked around the outside of the elder's den. He wasn't sure how to respond to Wildmist. The tom didn't really talk at all. "My mother likes the breeze, she says it reminds her of the days when she could run like an apprentice." The she-cat wasn't terribly old, but she had moved out of kitting age after Snowpaw.
Blackdawn opened and closed her jaw, trying not to laugh, but also holding back irritation. "Snowpaw, patrolling borders is important. We have to make sure no one is on our territory that shouldn't be." She said. Snowpaw flicked her ears. "I know." She replied, standing up. The apprentice was itching to find out where that beetle had went. Blackdawn looked at Icefire. Surely all the apprentices weren't like this?

Tawnyhaze gaze a slight twitch of amusement. He had lost a lot of respect for their mother after Snowpaw's arrival. The she-cat denied anything he tried to confront her with, which made him angry. Blackdawn just simply ignored it, but it bothered Tawnyhaze. "Here's a spot." He said, nodding toward the back of the den.
Blackdawn let out a sigh. "I worry about her. Our mother seems to find her playfulness amusing." Blackdawn said as she watched Snowpaw skitter up a tree. "Be careful!" She called. The apprentice climbed quite well for her age. "Don't worry! Owlpaw taught me how to climb!" Snowpaw called from a branch. Blackdawn shook her head. "Oh of course, how silly of me to worry about that." She snorted.

Badgerpaw swished her tail in boredom. She had been playing with a spider for what must have been half an hour and had now fully lost interest. She decided to leave camp and go for a walk. She walked around the shore of the lake, not quite sure what to do with herself. Maybe I'll find something to hunt, she thought to herself.

"If my father, Dewnose, asks who did this let him know my brother did it." she told him, internally sighing st their rocky relationship. Icefire laughed. "I told you others' said he was a handful!"

Beartail wouldn't want you so shaken and it pains me to see you so. Why don't you take Owlpaw out later for a walk through the meadows?"

"Would you like to come with us?" she asked. She didn't feel entirely guilty, Beartail died before Owlpaw was born.
