🌳OakClan - The Resilient and Brave (ACTIVE members needed!)

(All I have is Gingerfoot, and she's in use. Troutwhisker is traveling. I guess I could make another character, but I don't have motivation atm.)

Fernbreeze sniffed the air as they left camp, a pleasant breeze wafting over them. "Hmm... well, I guess we can try by the seaside. Haven't bee there and what seems like moons... Didn't much want to get wet after the flood. And it is a warm day, our pelts will dry quickly.

Lionpaw took a minute or so more, as he'd taken up too much moss and his jaws at once, resulting in it steadily falling apart. He finally settled on a slightly smaller clump and hurried after Lemon, tiny bits of moss in his wake.

Icepaw seemed to guess she was avoiding helping Lionpaw and gave her a slightly squint-eyed smirk from behind his bundle. "Suref." He mumbled in reply, his tail flicking as he quickly swiveled on his paws and marched for the camp entrance.

"Well, we can hunt around for other cats as idle as ourselves, or we can just go now." Ravenheart suggested, his eyes landing on the snoozing Whiteraven at the camp entrance.

Smallnose smile at the she-cat's words. "Yes, perhaps. But you'll have new problems when the kits are born, however dear they are." She said in a slightly amused way. She herself as delighted at the prospect of having kits, but what daunted her was having to sit in the nursery for hours with them.

Smallnose fur bristled a tiny bit at the thought. That was not something she suspected may happen, as she couldn't think of how an entirely deaf kit could survive. It was now another thing added to her list on things to worry about! She put on her best comforting mew for her reply, however, saying, "Don't worry about it, I'm sure they won't be!"

She flinched as she heard Tulippaw and turned to face her, giving her a small smile before looking back to Gingerfoot with a tiny frown on her face.

Lionpaw brought his bundle towards the apprentice den, glad to find it empty so no one would be in the way. He hummed to himself as he cleared the old moss away.

Icepaw stopped just by the river outside camp, before jumping in with a splash and swimming across. Since the flood he'd worked at getting better swimming training and was quickly improving. He shook out his fur violently when he reached the other side.

"Alright." Ravenheart replied, limping his way towards the camp entrance. It was a bit crowed as cats were going in and out, but he soon passed Icepaw and Tulippaw and waited for Ferndapple just outside, flinching as Icepaw shook water all over him after crossing.

Lemonpaw cleared out the old moss. "Sorry for interrupting.." She meowed to Smallnose and Gingerfoot with an apologetic smile as she tried to hurry up with her work. She quickly began to get the new moss in to replace the old.

Tulippaw hesitated, not wanting to get her fur wet. She huffed and then finally splashed into the water, swimming after Icepaw. She dragged herself back onto dry land and began shaking out her fur vigorously.

Ferndapple padded after Ravenheart, blinking in surprise as she felt a splash of water come from Icepaw and Tulippaw as the two younger cats shook off their pelts. She sighed and then looked to Ravenheart. "Should we go to the CedarClan border or the mountain border?" She asked.

Hey how are you?)

I got out of work early but now I have a mountain of things to do. I did my individual lesson plans yesterday but today I have to re-do my individual milestone charts as well as my group milestone chart)

eww. Speaking of, I have a class I need to pay for sometime this week so I can get started)

thanks. I have a scholarship to a tech school through my work. I'm taking classes to get a child development certification and after I get that, I'm going to actually go to school for it. The scholarship pays all but like $1 per credit hour so most of my classes are like $20)

(Yikes. My total tuition is about 21K/year. It was about 19K/year when I first started two years ago.)

(I go to EMU, actually.)

(Mhm! It's a great social work school, which is what I'm going for. But it's also really good for education. It's slogan is actually "Education First" haha.)
