TIMESKIP ANNOUNCEMENT

Since Cardinal is away and busy, myself and Morning decided we should timeskip and that I'd post for it! There was also a big update. For one, we are back to the makeshift update thread. All ages are up to date as we are skipping 1 moon in time from the flood so we can keep in pace with CedarClan. If you see anything missing, please post on the thread any updates you may want. Here is is, the temporary update thread! I will eventually add season, news, updated relationship lists and so on, so if you see anything in particular missing or needed for those please post there.

There will also be a gathering if almost everyone can get there this Saturday.
For those rping the journeying cats, we are rping where we left off, so the timeskip doesn't effect them.

Furthermore, while Cardinal is on hiatus for an unknown span of time, her characters- as well as Ivyriver's- are up for temporary claim. Please note that when/if the original rpers come back you'll likely have to give these characters back! For the cats mates with mine, I'd rather you were a member for awhile. Here is the list with the characters, who is open, and who is claiming who for the time being. IF MARKED WITH AN ASTERISK THEY ARE CURRENTLY ON THE JOURNEY. Be sure to read about the cats on the thread. If they have mates or relatives you can talk to them more about them.

It has been a moon since the flood, as well as since the journeying cats left. The flood obliterated camp, and even now, OakClan is still recovering. Thistlespots was killed by the flood, which was a tragedy, but thankfully most of OakClan survived. However, it didn't take long for cats to have been discovered missing. Among these were Wildmist, Meltedpaw and Kestrelpaw. They vanished from camp shortly before the storm, so there is still hope that they have lived. Unknown to the clan, they have joined the journeying cats.

Other changes have come to the clan. Doeleap is close to her kitting, and likely, Duskfeather as well. Smallnose had to move to the nursery, discovering after her mate's death she was expecting kits.  Gingerfoot also. The clan is overjoyed, and hope these coming kits signal a new time of recovery as green leaf just begins.

Due to Thistlespot's death and Smallnose's coming kit or kittens, Sparrowpaw and Lemonpaw have been assigned by Harestar new mentors. Although Sparrowpaw is not back with the clan, her stand in would be Galefoot. As for Lemonpaw, she is now mentored by Timberstone.

Fernbreeze searched the camp for cats to join her on a hunting patrol.

Quietwillow was grooming Icepaw, who had got himself stuck in a thorny bush and now had to be thoroughly checked for thorns, twigs and leaves.

Smallnose sat in the nursery, staring out of it into the camp.

Ravenheart was asleep in the warriors den.

Crowwhisper was asleep in the warriors den.

Foxtail was returning from a hunt, a fish in his jaws.

Whiteraven was snoozing at the camp entrance.

Lionpaw was making a neat pile of moss not far from his mother and brother, about to bring it to the nursery.

Gingerfoot woke in her nest at the back of the nursery, opening her eyes slowly. She still wasn't used to the dim lighting in the den, nor the absence of Hawkfeather beside her.

“I would.” Gingerspots meowed to the senior warrior with a polite smile. “Figure I need to do something other than just stand around. “

Lemonpaw waved back with her tail while Tulippaw shot Icepaw a bright smile before rising to her paws and prancing over. Lemonpaw heaved a sigh and quietly followed. “Hey Icepaw!” Tulippaw meowed cheerfully. “How are you?” She asked before calmly sitting down.

“Need some help?” Lemonpaw asked quietly, nodding her head to the thorns he was picking up.

Ferndapple turned her head as she noticed someone come out after her. She quickly recognized Ravenheart and frowned a little. “Oh... Sorry did I wake you up?” She asked.

( Sorry for poof, Internet issues. And yeah sure! )

"Same here." Fernbreeze replied with a sigh, looking about their camp. "Wonder if anyone else is... but I suppose we can go on ahead, just us on a patrol isn't bad either, so long as the cats get fed."

"Fine." Icepaw grumbled, his voice slightly muffed by the moss he rubbed around. He spat it out as a thorn poked him in the mouth. "No thanks! I'm almost done, I'll just have to take it outta camp so as to not have it mixed up with non thorny moss!"

"I could use help!" Lionpaw called over, trotting up to them and motioning his tail towards the moss pile he had. "Need top go and bring these to the nursery and apprentice's den. Elders and warriors are already done." He explained further, hoping he wouldn't have to make all the new nests by himself.

"Yes, but its' fine!" Ravneheart said genuinely, with a smile. "I was sleeping too long anyways. Judging by the sun's height."

Smallnose let out a yawn, stretching her paws in front of her. She really wasn't very close to having her kit at all, it still barely showed, and despite her depression at her mate's death she was steadily recovering and wanting to do something. Still, a new fear had been left behind in the flood's deaths wake- while normally she was quite fearless and active, Thistlespots dying made in worry her kit might not make it, too. She was about to sit up, and considered hunting, when this new fear hit her, and she quickly sat down again. She was finally broken from her troubled thoughts when she heard Gingerfoot stirring nearby, and looked back to see her clanmate waking up. "Morning." She greeted, trying to sound friendly, but it did come out a bit forced.

"I'm ready right now." Fernbreeze said with a smile, beginning to trot towards the camp entrance.

"Thank you." KLionpaw said with a purr, beginning to separated his own clump of moss.

Icepaw watched this exchange for a moment before letting out a snort, and picking up his own messy moss. "Wellfo I'mf gwaing." He said behind it to Tulippaw.

"Hmm." Ravenheart said with a nod, glancing about the camp. He saw everyone was going about their day already and considered what he should do. "Maybe border patrol hasn't gone out yet?" He suggested.
