🌳OakClan - The Resilient and Brave (ACTIVE members needed!)

Blizzardstorm shook his head as she came over. "You're expecting kits! This is too dangerous for you."

Gingerfoot pushed on and, frankly, didn't care. "I can't let you two drown! You need help!" She nodded to Ruewhisker, who was looking a little worse for wears, "She needs help. I'm fine." Stubborn as she was, Gingerfoot shouldered against Ruewhisker's other side and gripped her shoulder scruff between her teeth.

Blizzardstorm quickly nodded as he re-gripped Ruewhisker's other shoulder.

With the help of Blizzardstorm, Gingerfoot guided Ruewhisker across camp, fighting against the current and rising waters. The shore wasn't far now, and so the ginger warrior pushed on. She wasn't about to let this be for nothing.

Juniperbreeze was struggling not far from Owlwhisker. She was unable to get a grip on the rocks and the rising flood waters, tried to pull her back down. Her thick fur soaked up the water around her and made her feel like she was made of stone.

Owlwhisker winced as he regained his footing. Did I sprain a paw? he thought to himself. Before he could think, a wave knocked him off of the rocks.

Emberspark hissed in frustration. There was a time when she felt like the strongest warrior, and Timberstone and Harestar wouldn't hesitate to have her help. Now, she couldn't even spot her kits in water! If only I still had both my eyes.. She thought, with a second of resentment, before turning to her daughter. "Let's climb the tree behind us." she ordered.

"I can't do that momma..." Bubblekit said, looking at her twisted leg. She wasn't one for 'I can't'-s but she knew that not only did she not know how to climb, she also wouldn't be able to do it anyway.



Juniperbreeze yelped as she bumped into Owlwhisker. "Owlwhisker!" she called as she got her muzzle above water.

"Ok Momma. I trust you," Bubblekit said quietly as her mother carried her. She curled up to make herself as small as possible.



Juniperbreeze dove underwater and found Owlwhisker. She grabbed his scruff and began pulling him to the surface, her muscles and lungs screaming for air as she tugged on the tom. She tok a deep breath, gasping in relief as her head broke hte surface, and pulled his muzzle out of hte water, holding him high. Starclan help me! Ican't do this alone!

"Go mommy! I believe in you!" Bubblekit cheered


"Are you ok?" Juniperbreeze asked, being careful not to let go of his fur

Bubblekit prepared herself to leap into the foxhole, waiting for her mothers' signal.


Juniperreeze nodded. "Ok I need you to help me as much as possible ok?" she asked. She pushed off the rock with her back legs, dragging hte heavy tom with her

(hey hawk. you can jump in anywhere. it's a flood)

Emberspark positioned herself so the jump was easy for Bubblekit. She slowly released her grip, giving her a signal.

Owlwhisker nodded and kicked as fast as he could.

Bubblekit leaped and landed in the hole, falling awkwardly on her twisted leg. "I did it mommy!" she said excitedly


Juniperbreeze finally reached dry and and hauled the two of them up it to. She coughed and gagged, spitting out water before turning to Owlwhisker. "Are you ok? Are you able to walk?"
