🌳OakClan - The Resilient and Brave (ACTIVE members needed!)

Blizzardstorm noticed Ruewhisker dip underwater. He swam over to her and tried to pull her back up.

(Ember and Timber since she's freaking out? Owl and Juniper? Or anyone you have in mind that can rescue Sootfur?)

(I thought Sandpebble was one of the journeying cats. I posted a starter for Ember and Sootfur above if you'd like to check. Also talking about how the flood went to the journeying cats)

Emberspark woke up to the sound of roaring water. The queens den was flooded! She was trying to see the best she could out of one eye but she couldn't find her kits. She was panicking when Gingerspots and the other warriors helped guided her and Doeleap out.

(No worries!)

Emberspark looked at him distraught and shook her head. "I can't- I couldn't- I looked everywhere!" She yelled over the roaring of the water.

( Cardinalsong about Wildmist sounds good! In that case, would Meltedpaw still go back? )

Foxtail and Crowwhisper, not finding Honeydew with them, left the warriors den quickly. Since then they'd been in confusion, trying to see through all the water, and not panic all the while. While Crowwhisper looked out for Kestrelpaw, and for any stray clanmate who needed help, Foxtails' thoughts where for Honeydew. He was already panicky enough by being in water, and not seeing her anywhere was making him all the more so, so he let out a breath of relief as he saw her swimming nearby, and, narrowly missing a branch crashing into him, swam towards her.

Ashtail looked a bit confused as water began to gather. It didn't flood too close to camp back at his home, although it did by the lake sometimes. Shiverpelt, on the other hand, squeaked and hissed in fear as lightning flashed across the sky.

Nightglisten growled and began to walk faster, although he did not seem to panic. "Do you think we can make it nearer to the mountains in time?" He called over the pounding rain and steadily rushing water.

Kestrelpaw had slowed his pace as it began to rain, but started slightly as he noticed the water was getting higher. "Uhh... Meltedpaw, does it flood often here?" He asked uneasily. He'd never seen a flood.

( I said earlier Quietwillow was carrying a kit, which kit should it be? XD I guess Bubblekit as Bramblekit's lost and Palekit's with Honeydew? )

Whiteraven noticed that, out of the two kits he'd seen carried off both other cats, Bramblekit was not one of them. Despite his disliking for the kit he hissed aloud as he felt a surge of panic the kit may already be dead. He quickly dived under water, but the nursery floor was empty, so he swam out as quickly as possible, and returned to the surface, looking wildly about in search of the missing kit.

( It's fine, I like that idea. XD Maybe if Morning's ok with it it's Bubblekit? )

Kestrelpaw picked up a paw and shook it as it got drenched, and began to pick up his pace as the water gradually rose. His heart was beating fast, but he managed to say, somewhat composedly. "Eer... what do we do?"

Foxtail finally reached her, panting for breath as he nearly choked on some water. Giving her a frantic look and stayed beside her, and looking around. There was a lot of debris gathering in camp, but he could see slightly higher ground they could reach. Would it be safe, though? Nearly sinking under the water he frantically kicked and howled over the noise. "That bank, quick, swim!" As he headed for the nearest high point he could see.

Whiteraven ducked under the water a few more times, and nearly got whacked in his face by a branch, causing him to swallow water and emerge, coughing, hacking and spluttering. Catching his breath after this fit was done, he swam against the tide, looking to and fro for the kit. He finally spotted him and propelled himself forwards towards Bramblekit. He sunk again, but managed to come up beside the kit, grabbing him by the scruff in a hurry before another wave hit them both.

( Hi Bramble! )

Meltedpaw looked around, spotting Wildmist running towards them from the distance. "Is that, is that Wildmist?"

Bramblekit wiggled in surprise as Whiteraven picked him up. "Mom? Dad?" Bramblekit asked, not being able to see with all the water in his eyes.

Ferndapple shifted slightly as the other two apprentices made it to the tree’s hollow. She was relieved to see Boldpaw and Flurrypaw, knowing that more of her clan was safe now.

Pebbleclaw breathed heavily as he looked worn out. The elder didn’t seem like he’d be moving anymore anytime soon.

Haynose had already reached the safety of higher ground when he heard Sootfur’s cry. His eyes widened as he spotted the she-cat trapped by a rock. “Hold on!” he yowled. He plunged back down into the water and hurried towards the other warrior. He coughed as water got into his nose and mouth before he finally reached Sootfur. He slammed his paws against the rock trying to get it off her tail.

Sootfur's eyes widened as she spotted Haynose. "Hurry!" she told him as he dove underwater. She felt the rock move a little bit under Haynose's force. She wiggled, but couldn't get fully free. "A little bit more!" she yelled into the water.

 Ruewhisker was only vaguely aware of another cats presence. Suddenly she felt lighter as her head broke the water's surface. She looked around, disorientated and confused. Her eyes seemed to focus on a tree stump that was just a few tail lengths away. She tried to swim towards it with flailing strides and every so often would dip back under the water.
